what do you think is the most underrated moment in lionheart?
I deeply and gratefully appreciate how people react to chapters/plot beats of all sorts, so I don't have any moments that I think of as "underrated" per se.
That being said. In Book 3, Draco has a quip to Ron that goes: "where did you find this Methuselah of rats?" and I don't think there's anyone alive who finds that as funny as I do. I can sincerely make myself laugh out loud just by thinking about that line. It's still my favorite joke in the fic.

The thing about Kristoph and Apollo is that they have a very disturbingly similar sense of dark humor.
From 4-1, on the card not being in the bottle and there being a fourth person present (i.e. himself!):
This is one of my favorite Kristoph lines because it's just so out of pocket. So snarky. He just says this in open court. Granted, at this point Phoenix had pissed him off enough to start breaking his gentlemanly façade. And he does apologize for it after. But it's still so hilarious. It really just kind of shows that Kristoph's internal monologue is just dripping with disdain for everyone and everything. He's so done with peoples stupidity and it's great.
And then we have Apollo. This is from 4-2:
I think this is Apollo's internal monologue, were he to say this out loud to Trucy, she probably would've responded with something funny as well. But it's so funny to me that Apollo thinks like this and there are so many other examples of times that he thinks or says out of pocket stuff. Apollo's "so done" attitude doesn't really manifest itself fully until Kristoph is in jail, but even in 4-1 there are shades of it. I can't help thinking that it's an attitude he has in common with Kristoph or kind of subconsciously picked up from him. Either way the whole thing is super funny, and kind of melancholy if you think about it for too long.

Kisame!? Did I see that right? Explain
I’d trust Kisame with my entire heart, ass, and hand in marriage 😤
If Kisame found someone that loved him wholeheartedly even knowing his past, and didn’t view him as some kind of freak of nature whose life was meaningless, He would absolutely cherish them and treat them right.
His biggest flaw as a husband would be treating his s/o like they’re the classified information to be kept secret at all cost, because they would be his reason to hope and he wouldn’t want to put them in danger.
I’m not saying it wouldn’t take A LOT of patience to get through to him, but I am saying he’d make his way home to the one he loves and would definitely try to be a great partner to them.

*trying not to sound desperate* what's your system for not struggling with social relations?
people like it when they're given subtle compliments and when you let them talk about their own achievements, so, as long as you can get someone to think you're genuinely interested in their life they should come out of it with a good opinion of you
+ also people love complaining together so if you can try and bring up something you both dislike enough to have a fun rant on

there is something deeply hilarious in Astarion (+18-21 to lockpicking on an average day, Reliable Talent literally means that the only way for him to roll below 27 is via a nat1) throwing his hands up and proclaiming a lock unpickable, and then Gale rolling up with an "are you certain about that?" and a Knock spell.
Just picture their faces.
Astarion looking like he just bit straight into a lemon through the rind and was told he has to eat the whole thing
Gale with his eyes practically sparkling; barely containing his smug glee (and being very careful not to mention that he just blew a second level spell slot on that trick)
the entire rest of the day, Astarion is noticeably in a sour mood, and refuses to do any lockpicking or trap-disarming without loosing an acerbic "are you sure you don't want to ask the wizard instead?" first

Kendall: What do you call quantums of electromagnetic radiation that don’t get along?
Chase: What did you just say-
Kendall: Foetons! *Laughs*
Chase: Wh-what?
Riley: *Also laughs*
Matt: I still don't get this joke! It has been years of me trying to figure it out.
