Question for that blank slate au. Is Simon still bonded to the crown? Not to mention how was Ice King knocked back to Simon? I am invested in this idea.
Simon isn’t bonded to the crown anymore, though how that happened is spoilers :)

Hmm.. this idea is from @keeperofhounds
They sent me this from some time ago and I just got time to actually think it over and wrap my head around it
So, basically, the idea is..
Roksu reincarnated into Cale's supposed dead older brother who was fated to be stillborn
Their age gap is 7 years
If we follow the canon timeline, Jour died when Cale 8 years old
But here, she died when Roksu was 8 and Cale was 1
Jour still split her ancient power into two
The first one, she gave it to Cale
While the second one, she hide it in her diary for Roksu to take later
She somehow know about Roksu and his fate, still loves him all the same
The massacre still happen because Jour leave a false trail to Harris village
Because she know that it needs to happen
After her death, Roksu basically raise Cale because Deruth, being the coward he is, can't bring himself to even look at Cale because he remind him of his deceased wife
In this, Cale is the only red head in the family because Roksu inherited Deruth's hair color
At first, it was difficult for Roksu because he also see a glimpse of their mother in Cale
But seeing the innocence in him and the smile that seems to warm his heart, Roksu know that he will do anything for his baby brother
Ah! Roksu doesn't have his memories as Kim Rok Soo but he will remember them when he turn 18
I just want the timelime to match with LCF
Cale grow up as a happy, good, and kind kid
He might be shy around other people and only keep close those he is comfortable and care about
He is a bit naive because Roksu quite protective and paranoid toward him
Cale's relationship with Deruth is a bit strained because he is absent in his early years and when he brought in Violan and Basen, Roksu doesn't really let him away from him because he is warry
He doesn't hate them per se, it's just that they were new people, strangers, in his house that might harm his brother so he keep their distant from them
Roksu also distant with his father because he is dissapointed with how he did things and the way he doesn't even look at Cale properly, he even flinch, and it's make Roksu upset so he has been giving him cold shoulders until he realize his mistakes
And since Roksu busy taking care of Cale, he doesn't really have time to 'bond' with Basen nor Lily
And since Cale has half of the ancient power, he has been seeing people's ring since he couldn't understand anything
Roksu always know that Cale can see something, but he never found out what until Cale learn to speak more fluently
He didn't really understand what he mean by 'ring' around people at first
But when Cale break dowm after his nanny died, he told Roksu how the 'ring' was starting fade before
From there, Roksu conclude that the 'ring' is like a lifespan of people and his only conclusion is it's an Ancient Power
He know a bit of Ancient Power but doesn't really care about it before, but finding out that Cale might possess one made him research on Ancient Power to make sure it will not bring harm to Cale
He made Cale promise that he will not tell anyone about the 'rings' he saw and it's their secret
Oh!! Ron always there with them
Hmm.. I think Cale will pick some of Ron's habits like walk silently or good at sneaking or something
And! Cale is also close with Vic-hyung it make Roksu-hyung jealous 🥺
The three of them basically grow up close like siblings!!
When he first got his memories as KRS, the first thing he thought of is Cale's safety
He know that Cale doesn't grow up as a trashy young master, beside he still a kid, but he never know
So he become overbearing during that time until he is sure that Cale will be fine and safe
The first time Cale see Choi Han, he told Roksu that he has a pretty 'ring'
Roksu think it may be because he is not from here
During the events in LCF, Roksu bring Cale almost everywhere at the beginning but started to keep him in Rock Villa when thing become more dangerous
There were times when Cale sulk because Roksu keep going somewhere and leave him behind which lead to some wholesome brotherly love
Ah, I can imagine how scared Cale when Roksu hurt badly and how he refuse to leave his side and have him out of his sight
He got traumatized so bad he started to cry when he can't find his hyung
Idk why but I'm thinking about making Cale do something for GoD because Roksu is in dire situation and it make him injured or in extreme pain (temporarly because GoD protecting him and will make sure he is safe and fine after)
He agreed willingly because it's for his hyung but Roksu is furious with GoD for involving his baby brother
Yyaapp, I think Imma stop here because it started to get everywhere lol
Thank you for the wonderful idea, I hope you like it!!

So, I saw that Sokka’s Moving Castle art that was on your dash and I raise you a Spirited Away au. Where Zuko and Iroh (along with the crew) are trapped in the spirit world. The adults get turned into pigs (Iroh is debatable but he doesn’t always have his smart movements, remember that tea?) Anyway, Zuko has to find a way to save his Uncle and crew before they get eaten. (This part is inspired by a similar au in BNHA) Maybe Zuko gets changed and becomes a dragon maybe he leaves the spirit world successfully with his Uncle and crew but takes with him a dragon stone which allows him to change into a dragon.
I could’ve sworn there already was an Zukka spirited away au? I haven’t read it, but I could have sworn there was a popular fic along these lines

So, can you tell us about that Clone au? I want to know why AfO decided to create Izuku and if Izuku is ever found by the heroes especially Toshinori.
In this AU, Izuku died when he was younger, after the fight of All Might against Afo. It’s a dfo story so when his father discovered about Izuku, he decided that it wouldn't be like that and dragged the doctor into new experiments in addition to the Nomus to somehow bring the child back, which resulted in the clones.
After a while, they manage to recreate a realistic version of him, but after a few years, the clone ends up running away and appears in the society during Hosu's attack. It's at this moment he meets Ilda and the heroes/police begin to be very interested about him.

So crazy idea what if Roxas became part of the reaper game for his right to exist? Joshua places him in the game because he knows Roxas because he met Sora in the past (DDD) and Roxas needs to complete the week to exist again.
i actually had an idea like this where Roxas ended up in the Reaper’s Game as Sora’s game partner (since you can’t really survive in the game without making a pact and all, and who else could Sora trust more than Roxas?)
i didn’t consider what Roxas would’ve lost, since i’m not really sure what he would consider most important to himself. but his own self-identity is arguably what he’s fought for the hardest. so having that stripped away would definitely leave him pissed off.
but that then begs the question: how does that manifest as a toll for his entry into the game? i was thinking about it to myself, and i came to the situation of everyone would probably forget Roxas existed.
my reasoning being: Xion. she was someone that had her entire existence hinged on something fragile, like memories poorly stacked together. once those memories were tugged apart and she faded from existence, her memories unraveled from everyone else’s and everyone forgot she existed. she was truly the pinnacle of ceasing to exist.
and what else is a person’s existence except how other people perceive them? if i remember correctly, that was a point that Joshua was trying to make in DDD. that everyone in the Reaper’s Game doesn’t exist until someone else sees them.
so if Roxas lost his existence, then that means other people can’t know who he is. he’d be a stranger in the Game, and if Sora were there and the two had to make a pact, Sora would have no idea who Roxas is. which could be all the more heartbreaking if Roxas remembers everything and no one else does.

So, what do you think of Super Sons? I remember an older story you did with Damian going into the YJ universe and I keep expecting Damian and Jon to fall into some alternate reality with super hero counter parts in their adventures. I mean space travel. Time travel. Dimensional travel. These kids are such dorks with their adventures that it’s so fun to watch. Not to mention their dynamic which I find to be very refreshing because it seems like the writer is really having fun with those stories.
And apparently they still hang out when they are old! That’s like best friends type commitment.
Anyway my point is what do you think of these kids relationship?
Super Sons came out a) when I was starting to drift away from DC and b) was generally unhappy with the writing/character decisions. My cynical ass at the time saw Jon and Dami as an incongruous pair slammed together as Blood Sons to make money for the 8-12 boys demographic. Hindsight and some distance tells me that this is a dumb very judgey opinion partially bc I was angry at DC for various (justified) reasons and the other was just pure bias bc I didn’t like seeing Kon sidelines and the adopted kids made to feel lesser.
That was a long explanation to say I never really read Super Sons even though I’ve since gotten over my Bad Opinions. I just haven’t quite drifted back into comics enough to give it a go even though it’s on my mental list. So all I know is fanon. Jon and Dami seem like opposite pairs on the surface but have a good amount to balance them out underneath. They both seem to feel immense pressure on being their Father’s Sons and carrying the weight of that legacy. Jon is much more a normal kid whereas Damian is well Dami. Certainly a bit of an odd pair and I will admit I don’t feel as much as the smooth chemistry as Tim & Kon or Colin & Dami or Steph & Cass or any other duos. Or maybe I would if I actually read it.

I need to ask what’s with Roxas’ face? Like he always looks like he’s tired or disinterested. Not trying to criticize it’s just funny and I’m curious to know why he has those eyes more often than not in your art.
helps him separate from Ven and I just think it’s funny/somewhat fitting to draw

So Talia has that clone of Damian but she wants the original back. I have to ask what does she think of the clone and how does she treat him? I imagine as a knockoff.
We’re just gonna have to wait for the arc where he gets introduced to see that!!
I LOVE that you picked up on that, though, because the clone is literally the only reason I’m writing this ENTIRE SERIES.  😂😂😂. You just got me so excited for his arc. (again) LOL

Ever read Batman annual #1 with Ace’s origin story and Supersons annual with the Legion of Super pets? What do you think of a story in which the pets save their kids? I find it cute since Damian and Jon are the youngest in their respective families and likely spend the most time with their pets.
I read Ace’s origin but I don’t remember it much. And I actually never read the legion of super pets issue haha.
And I mean, Damian’s been ‘saved’ by his pets before, Goliath aside, when he was resurrected. They threw the baddie into cow poop somehow if I recall. And Goliath does it often haha
But I could definitely see Titus and Krypto going APE SHIT to protect and save their boys if a situation called for it. Even if it meant against their own dads/families. I could see Titus hesitating then, though. Krypto though I could see absolutely going for the kill. No mercy from that dog. And Titus, I think it’d really depend on who he was protecting his boy from. But only maybe.

So, love the siblings au. Just wanted to know if Varian knows about how Rapunzel came into his life. I imagine they don’t really talk about the entire kidnapping thing and such. Also what type of hair does Varian have? White? Blue? His usual color?
I’m glad you love it!
(I’ve actually been writing the first official installment/chapter and hope to have it post-ready either today or tomorrow, so good timing!)
As for if Varian knows how he got a big sister...well, he knows the basic sequence of events. Essentially, he knows that Rapunzel’s birth mother (again, they don’t know Gothel stole Rapunzel as well) tried to kidnap him when he was a baby in order to control both the Sun and the Moon’s power. He knows that his parents managed to get him back and that they ended up taking in Rapunzel as well. You’re right in that it’s not something they really talk about; Varian and Rapunzel can ask for more info at any time, but they never really gather the courage/feel a pressing desire to ask. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and all that.
Varian was born with white hair, just like Rapunzel was born with golden hair. His hair is mostly a silvery-white, with a few streaks of darker silver. The stripe of hair that’s teal/blue in canon (which is still the dumbest effing ‘design choice’ in animation history if there was never a plan to actually do anything with it) is a darker silver. Think of the craters/seas on the moon in terms of the level of contrast here.
Let me know if you (or if anyone) have any more questions or just want to talk Siblings AU! I am way more than happy to ramble on about it at the slightest provocation.
(I’ve also gotten a new tablet and have been tinkering around with it, so I might be able to start putting out art for it this weekend, provided work doesn’t pop up at the last minute.)

Hello, I know it’s probably been a while but can you tell me about that BNHA & pokemon Dover where Deku is a Riolu? Like what the general direction it was going or the tragedy of the situation between Izuku and Toshinori, I don’t know why I just expected Izuku to wake up from a nightmare and go to All Might for comfort on instinct. It really did break my heart that Izuku had so little time when compared to his best friend.
Oooh, I sure CAN!! Heroes of Time is. maybe a particular fave as far as crossover au’s go and it’s never not gonna linger in the background of my brain
(i promise someday i’ll work on it again bc i have so many notes on it, i just. need to wait for current events (fandom) events to finish. But like, it’s not like fic or AU plans are a complete secret, so I can talk about it a bit, haha. I’ll go more in-depth in the future, whether in text or fic form, because your question quite touches on some backstory I was chipping on for Toshinori before.)
The general path of the AU is meant to follow the games -- mystery pokemon appears, becomes partners with kindly pokemon who find them on the beach, turns out there’s weird time things going on, blah blah. Mostly what changed is, you know, the roles: I thought the topsy-turvy of “Toshi in Grovyle’s role but human, Izuku in Player’s role but pokemon” would be really fun to play with, and everything else sort of tumbled from there to keep the world making some level of sense. It hasn’t been mentioned or discussed, but technically All for One is Darkrai and Shigaraki plays in a dual Dusknoir-Grovyle position (in that he works for the Big Bad re: dusknoir, but is an outlaw from the start like grovyle was).
Tenya and Ochako were plotted to be Izuku’s main team and partners, but since the guild is mostly just 1-A as far as inhabitants go, he probably bounces between teams sometimes.
You’ve more or less nailed part of the core of the hurt that surrounds Izuku and Toshinori in the AU though: that in following the logic of how the Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky games end, Toshinori had so much time to come to terms with the past he was saving, while Izuku unknowingly had just a blink by comparison.
It’s also that Toshinori hatched and raised Izuku the riolu with his own two human hands, that Izuku singlehandedly renewed Toshinori’s determination to work with Nana and save the world -- because he was going to do it, always, but it’s so much easier to press on when you have someone specific to do it for, when you look that reason in the face and make your promises then and there. It’s that Toshinori and Izuku would do anything for each other, parent to kid and vice versa, and in protecting Izuku, Izuku lost everything and Toshinori was changed. It’s that Toshinori spent his whole near-second lifetime searching for Izuku, marking the path for them to reunite and stop the planet’s paralysis, only to find that he had been, for lack of a more delicate phrasing, forgotten.
It’s that Toshinori’s never known this Izuku, who has friends and smiles at the sun and bounces with every step, just as Izuku has never known this Toshinori, standing tall in the body of a lucario at the head of the most famous guild in the world. He’s afraid that, if he steps forward and comes clean in any way, the rest of the story will follow and force Izuku away from what little of a life he’s started to build out of some sense of duty or fate. It’s not fair that Izuku doesn’t have the chance, that he doesn’t have the choice, and what he himself wants (to have his partner and best friend and kid back) is inconsequential. In the end, Toshinori cannot -- will not -- take this opportunity for joy, no matter how brief, away from him.
Even if it puts the world at risk. Even if it means he has to drag his scarred and ruined body forward to finish the job himself.
(obviously, it doesn’t go quite so smoothly, and was not exactly the best course of action. but his heart’s in the right place.)

For Toga I think when she copies Izuku she gets Quirkless Izuku. Think about it this is DNA and OfA is an add on. Copy guy copies quirks and the gene itself but Togo needs blood. She needs to look like the person basically becoming the person. So it’s unlikely that she could use OfA.
True, it would be funny however if that is the case. The real Izuku doesn’t have any quirks and is quirkless. If for example that Toga use her quirk to transform as Izuku in front of Tomura and nothing happened. He would be puzzled. Hm..

Hey if you’ve seen Are You Kidding Me what kind of kid do you think Varian would have been if he was younger? Personally I think he is the type to run off easily when something catches his interest. Or he would just ignore everyone else and try to figure things out for himself. Like if he wanted something he would be like no I can do it let ME do it!
[ TANGLED SEASON 2 SPOILERS!!! Don’t read unless you’ve watched the most recent episodes!! ]
(This is all going by the assumption that he’d be between the ages of 8-10, since the magic works in relation to the person’s current age.)
I agree! I definitely see Varian as being insatiably curious, energetic, and very precocious as a kid …pretty much like he is now, just more-so (lol.)
He’d probably be the kind of kid who could talk your ear off with facts. Like Kid Lance, but reversed. He’d do things like: say the scientific names for everything he sees, and ask questions that he already knows the answer to just so he can answer them & get praised for it.
I could also see him getting into a lot of arguments with “Kid Cass” over the whole “floor being lava” thing. “No it’s not! I know because lava’s a liquid and everybody knows you can’t stand on a liquid! Duh!”
I also think, as opposed to Cass, he’d be extremely eager to help Rapunzel & Eugene (assuming he doesn’t remember being mad at them,) and would run off to do “helpful” things for them, but would inadvertently end up making a bigger mess in the process.

Plot twist: Varian's mom was sucked into the BH6 world when her son was a toddler.
Not in my story but it wouldn't be a bad twist.
I know when I was collaborating with @keeperofhounds on our Eugene was raised by Quirin AU. We had Ulla sucked into the same dimension as Zhan Tiri, and her disappearance is what caused the riff between Eugene and Quirin and what caused him leave home and become a thief.
