okay also in reference to the reality tv / fame marauders au that im creating…

what do we think of high fashion model regulus black?

like obviously he’s on the show (although he’s fairly reserved (when he’s pushed in an interview tho… boy is he snarky)), but you know how reality tv stars and influencers always try to grow their fame through a main stream industry? i could so see the one regulus gets pushed into being modeling.

like he’s reluctant and he claims to hate it and, to be fair, he does hate most of the people, but it does do a little something for his ego… and he’s always telling barty that it’s dumb and that he’s gonna stop… but he’s just so very pretty, he couldn’t deny the people his face could he?

headcanon that dorcas didn’t know if she was a muggleborn or not, resulting in a lot of bullying from the slytherin house

headcanon that regulus, evan and barty were the only people ready to befriend her because, though all of their parents had strong views on blood supremacy, they couldn’t care less

so headcanon that when dorcas left the three to join the order, regulus, evan and barty felt the most betrayed because they had stuck around when no-one else would dare go up to her without the hexes and curses

and headcanon that when it was finally time for them to go up against each other in duel, regulus, evan and barty couldn’t strike first because they took a vow to never be the one who cursed the muggleborn/half-blood/whatever dorcas meadowes

wait wait I just saw your posts about the influencer AU idea and I'm so obsessed with it. AHH I can't stop imagining Sirius putting on one of those Harper's Bazaar or Vogue Day in the Life/73 questions videos featuring Regulus and just absolutely dunking on him for all the weird product placement/aspirational lifestyle things his family makes him do in it.

And James just sitting there pretending he doesn't have it bookmarked on his phone and seen it a million times or like scheming ways to show up at Regulus's 'fav' spots.

Shadow who knows fuck-all about how to hedgehog properly (only small bits from books) because he spent most of his time around humans and thus socializes more like a human.
