Cold Hearted Murderer - Hawks (Keigo Takami)

Pairing - Hawks (Keigo Takami) x f!reader

Warnings - MAJOR SPOILERS, blood, death, angst

Word Count - 591

Notes - i cant stand hawks, but he is pretty, so i had to write a fic in spite of that. and dont worry folks, i am planning on opening my inbox soon, i have two more requests and then we'll be ready to go!

She froze. Her heart was pounding out of her chest. She felt like she was going to puke. There was blood… everywhere. All over the floor. All over the wall. All over… him.

She watched it happen. She told him it was a bad idea. She didn't think he would actually do it. She thought he would only do it if he had become an actual threat. But he didn't do anything. Jin Bubaigawara didn't do anything. Nothing. He didn't hurt anyone. He didn't kill anyone. God, he didn't even threaten anyone. But he did it anyway.

Hawks killed Twice.

And she was there to see the whole thing.

It felt like the world was going in slow motion. She just watched the number two hero kill someone. With his own quirk.

She couldn't even react when Dabi appeared and burned Hawks’ wings off. She was still frozen. She didn't even notice the burns she got. A hero ended up getting her to safety, but it felt like nothing was going to pull her out of her shock.

“Hey,” somehow, she was pulled out of her own mind, feeling a hand on her shoulder. “You okay?” She turned to see who it was and felt that awful feeling coming back.

Hawks was in front of her and he was… smiling. Who the hell did he think he was? It didn't even look like he felt bad. He was in pretty bad condition too. He was wrapped up and asked Tokoyami, his sidekick, to walk him over to her.

“You should lay down. You need rest.” Her voice was shaky. She was surprised she could even talk. “Thanks for your concern,” Hawks sat next to her on the edge of the open ambulance. “But I'll be fine. They’ll grow back. Hurts like hell though.” “Can you really blame Dabi though?” She slammed her hand to her mouth. She did not mean to say that out loud.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Hawks tilted his head and she could see a mix of his own blood and… Jin’s. “You killed his friend. I would be pretty pissed if the same thing happened to me.” “Well yeah, but Twice was a vi-” “No he wasn't.” Her tone became rough. She wasn't scared anymore. She was pissed now.

“You need to calm down, it's not that ba-” “Keigo, you can't kill people.” “But we can't leave villains alive! Jail doesn't do shit! They’ll just break out and-” “Name one evil thing Twice did.” “Wh-What?” “Go ahead. I want to hear it.”

She looked into his eyes. He was a cold hearted murderer. Even if he was doing it for a “good cause”, it still made her skin crawl.

“He was part of the league.” “So?” Hawks swallowed, looking down at his hands. “Look, I'm sorry, okay?” “I don't know why you’re apologizing to me.” “Because you're my girlfriend and I shouldn't have done that while you were right there.” “You shouldn't have done that at all. Hero or not. And to be honest, I don't know if I want to be your girlfriend anymore.”

The two of them sat in silence for a while. Hawks twiddled his fingers and her hands were shaking on her thighs. “I love you.” She turned to Hawks, who was almost in tears. She turned away from him, humming in response and looking at the sky. “Keigo. I'm going to go help some others out. We’ll talk about it later.” “Okay.” She got up and walked away, not looking back.
