I've been thinking about the three bosses Liv has had since being in command and how...I really miss Dodds. I think he was the best, storyline/plot driving wise. Garland would maybe be the easiest to work for, but Dodds was more balanced I think, between being an antagonist to Liv and backing her play.
Kind of like Goldilocks story. Garland was too agreeable, McGrath is only antagonistic, but Dodds was just right.
But it also makes me think of one of my favorite scenes from SVU, which is the interrogation of Patton in Forgiving Rollins. I like it so much because it cemented who Dodds is for me (and Peter Gallagher and Kelli Giddish were just fucking amazing too) and even when I disagree with his stance and/or actions I never forgot what this scene showed me.
So we've mostly just seen the political aspect and the antagonistic to Liv side of Dodds up to this point. Even in the scene preceding, he's defending Patton and pointing out he's a cop and should get the benefit of the doubt. With Liv, of course, pointing out so is the victim.
But they are completely setting up that's he's just going to be all in on siding with Patton. The Good Ol' Boys club is strong and thriving etc etc.
But they also give us a little hint. Because again, we've seen him being the political Chief before this, but here he also mentions that he was a Homicide detective. Quick little line about live victims being hard to deal with but it's setting up his bona fides as a cop.
And then we have the interrogation. And it's subtle, but Dodds goes from Politician to Cop. He may have walked into that room thinking he was with an equal but it's not long before he knows he's just looking at another perp.
Patton knows it too, it's why he gets pissy and then shows his hand by verbally attacking Rollins. But I am convinced that Dodds knew he'd raped Taymor before Patton tried to shift blame.
And Peter Gallagher is fucking amazing because it's all so subtly acted. It's just. The Chief fell away to reveal the (good) cop underneath and I love it. And never forgot it.
Is Raiders Owner Mark Davis About To Hit A Grand Slam With 2 Potential Hires?
Raiders owner Mark Davis gave Raider Nation what they wanted by hiring Antonio Pierce—is he about to hit a grand slam with two more hires?
Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis gave Raider Nation what they wanted by hiring Antonio Pierce as the new head coach—is he about to hit a grand slam with two more hires?
While some fans are debating whether Davis did his due diligence with regard to the interview process, the fact is, Pierce was his guy. Perhaps he was the “choice” all along. The lack of “big name” interviews certainly suggests…
Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow are selling their mansion after rumours of cheating and Heather refusing to film RHOC has circulated!
What is going on in Orange County?! Well, not much and the little I get to hear about season 17 it hasn’t really been enough for me to fully engage in.
But hearing that Heather and Terry is selling their massive mansion in Orange County? Now that’s a story!
There have been paparazzi photos of the Dubrows embracing after rumours of Terry cheating on Heather surfaced on social media.
Kelly Dodd claimed that those were hired paparazzies, by the Dubrows, in an attempt to end the cheating rumours.
There have been rumours about Heather has been reluctant to film with the other women because of these rumours.
And we know that Heather is a perfectionist, a control freak and she wants to control the narrative.
As Gina Kirschenheiter told Heather about Nicole James’ lawsuit of her husband, she refused to film until she and Terry had found a way to control the situation.
Well, selling their mansion isn’t doing anything to distinguish the cheating rumours. If anything, it’s only feeding the fire.
People will instantly link the listing with the cheating rumours.
But she posted pictures of her and Terry holding hands in front of their mansion with the caption: “Walking into our next chapter like …”
Apparently, according to the rumours, they’re moving to Beverly Hills, which makes fans speculate if the Dubrows tries to make a move from RHOC to RHOBH!
Taylor Armstrong was the first housewife to switch from one show to another!
She has been listed as a friend of the show for season 17, but we’ll see how much we get to see Taylor.
But now that such switches seem to be a possibility, it’s possible that Heather would rather be on RHOBH than RHOC.
Equally rich and equally snobbish.
And as the word on the streets are saying that Bravo are having issues with their cast for season 13 of RHOBH after a very toxic season, they might have to make big changes.
Wait just to like check has anyone written anything about percy or someone being best buddies with literally every monster there is and starting a revolution or smthin because you have bob/iapetus, that one giant who denied their nature and shit and was friendly, tyson and ella so like??? Yes? No? If not im demanding this to be changed immediately cause i do not have the talent or skill to do it myself.
The concept here is to send in a question or a letter request, and you’ll get a response from your fictional character of choice, from the list below. Please stick to the list I’ve made, but of course, you can ask if there’s some other characters I write for, I don’t always remember all the shows, movies or books I’ve consumed over the years and I’m sure I’m missing a lot 😅
