When they play your favorite movie and call out for you, they're expecting to feel your warm small figure curl up on their lap, but instead, they sense the cautions next to them sink down, and then your warm body is placed next to them.

summary; it had been a long day and you were craving for your boyfriend's attention. thing is, all his attention was being occupied by some stupid mobile game.

you silently grumbled to yourself as you watched tsukishima furiously tap and slide his fingers against his phone's screen.

you had just gotten home from a long shift at work and now, all you wanted to do was to lay down and cuddle with your boyfriend of 6 months.

much to your dismay, he didn't seem to have any interest in getting comfy with you any time soon.

tsukishima had his eyes fixed on the game, occasionally furrowing his eyebrows and clenching his jaw as his long, slender fingers skilfully moved along his screen in quick motions.

you had to admit it though, he looked so attractive like this.

but you were too tired and pissed at the moment, so you kept your cool.

time had passed, you ended up just sitting there at the edge of your bed and patiently waited for him to finish the match.

‘he's been playing for 30 minutes now, how much longer is this match going to take?!’

you thought as you sighed and decided that you would just lay down next to him, not caring about cuddles anymore.

you turned your body away from him and pulled out your own phone to entertain yourself before you went to sleep.

tsukishima knew you were upset.

he felt so bad and wanted to put away his phone as soon as you entered the room, but he couldn't do so cause yamaguchi, hinata and kenma were playing with him.

the four teamed up and started a group call, despite all of then being to focused to say anything (hinata was screaming at the top of his lungs because he kept dying).

he figured that since he was playing as a party with his friends, he could end the match faster and smother you with cuddles right after.

he was dead wrong, though.

hinata was having problems with his connection, resulting in him being targeted by the enemy team as easy prey.

tsukishima ended up having to carry the rest of his team and did most of the killing, while his teammates pushed through the enemy base.

after a long and painful 43 minutes, the match finally ended with his team's victory.

he was, unsurprisingly, crowned the mvp and got sent a few praises by both his teammates and the enemy's team.

he payed no mind to them though, immediately exiting the game and hanging up on his friends before he placed his phone on the bedside table.

he finally turned to you and shot you an apologetic look, even though you couldn't see it since you were facing the other way.

you nearly jumped when you felt tsukishima wrap his arms around your waist.

the blonde had pressed himself up against you and you could feel his hot breath on your neck.

you almost melted in his touch, but you quickly swallowed your feelings back in when you remembered that you were still mad at him for ignoring you.

“y/n,” he called you in a soft tone, yet his voice was hoarse.

you pretended that you didn't hear him, but he knew damn well that you heard him.

“look at me, please.” he said, gently grabbing your chin to turn at him.

when he saw that you still refused to look at him, he spoke up again.

“'m sorry, baby,” he apologized. “i should've stopped playing earlier–.. but im here now. im all yours, doll.”

your eyes shifted to look at him with a longing gaze.

he was stunned when you immediately wrapped your hands around him and shoved your head into the crook of his neck.

“stupid game..” he chuckled at your grumpy remark and placed his hands on your back to rub comforting circles against your thin pyjamas.

he placed a small kiss on the top of your head and continued to listen to you grumbling about how much you despised that game of his.

“i know, baby, i know.”

★ As soon as he met you he despised you . He couldn't stand the sound of your annoying ass voice, all he wanted was to sit in peace . Usually he doesn't mind being around loud people but you... You pissed him off for some reason, he never wanted to be around you.

"I don't think Kenma likes me..." you whispered in Kuroo's ear. You started to sense Kenma rolling his eyes at you and scoffing every time you spoke. He annoyed you, if he had something to say, you wanted him to say it to your face .

It was so obvious you were talking about Kenma, he sat in front of you and Kuroo. You talked so loud, you couldn't even whisper silently, it irked Kenma even more.

"You're fine Y/n, everyone loves you," Kuroo reassured, patting your back, gently.

Kenma furrowed his eyebrows as he played his game. Yeah right, he can't even stand you. He would never be able to like someone so childish and annoying...

★ He hates the fact that all of his friends adored you. He knows damn well they only like you because you are somewhat attractive. He knows what you are thinking when you show up to their practices in skirts and tank tops, he knows that you're just there because you're a slut .

"Stop distracting our team, just get out of here... We don't want you here anyway," Kenma mumbled, sweat dripping from his forehead.

To be fair, you were kind of distracting Kuroo and Lev by talking to them whenever they got the chance to speak with you. But still! It infuriated you that Kenma worded it like that, it was rude!

"No need to be rude Kenma, I'm here to support my friends," you retorted, crossing your arms. you've about had it with him, you know he doesn't like you. And it pisses you off because you did nothing!

★ Kenma loathed the way his friends talk about you any chance they get. You are a cute girl, those boys just can't help themselves. Still, it makes Kenma frustrated.

"Y/n is so sweet, she made me some brownies today," Kuroo swooned. Kuroo had a little thing for you, you weren't aware of this but all of the boys knew.

"Oh yeah? Well she's planning to wear my jersey the next time we have a game," Yaku teased.

"She said she'll be cheering for me at the next game too. Only me," Lev added, punching Kuroo's shoulder playfully.

Kuroo started to visibly sulk.

"...I hate you guys... She won't be doing any of that, she's going to-"

"Can you guys please shut up? I'm tired of hearing about Y/n, that's all you guys ever talk about. It's annoying," Kenma said, his eyes glued to his phone.

★ Finally, you confronted him at a party in front of everyone. After that day, the two of you HATED each other, or so you thought. You could never see yourself being friends with him, ever.

"What the hell is your problem?! You spilled that drink on me on purpose!" you yelled, very angry at the situation. You were embarrassed, everyone saw, it made you feel like crying. You had issues when it came to having everyone pay attention to you. You only liked being around your group of friends, not the whole damn party.

Kenma did spill his drink on you but it wasn't on purpose, it was a simple accident. He bumped into you as you were dancing with Kuroo and Bokuto, causing his cup to spill on your clothes. Still, he found it amusing when he saw you get angry at the situation, so he did not apologize or even acknowledge you until you called him out.

"I didn't do it on purpose so..."

"Yes you did!" you exclaimed, Kuroo held on to your shoulder, trying to calm you down.

"Let's calm down y/n," Kuroo tried to say.

"Stop trying to defend her idiotic ways. She can handle things herself, she's not a damn baby," Kenma commented, feeling more aggravated

Kenma pinched his eyebrows together.

"What did I ever do to you?! Seriously! You're always so mean for no reason! I knew you didn't like me but holy fuck, spilling a drink on me is a bit much!"

"So bothersome... I'm going to tell you this once. I. Did. Not. You fucking idi-"

★ After the whole slap situation Kenma saw you in a different light kind of... He still hated your guts but he did notice how strong and confident you were. He couldn't help but admire some of the good aspects of you. So instead of dreading you, he openly speaks to you, only making rude comments of course. And you did not hold back either.

"What should I wear to Akaashi's party?" you asked, showing off a few outfits to Kuroo and Bokuto. The men sat on the floor, they loved listening to your rants and their favorite thing to do is tell you what to wear.

"The black skirt is cute," Bokuto said, pointing at the skirt in your left hand.

"No way! I like the dress, it always shows off your natural curves," Kuroo added, giving you a sly wink.

You giggled at their suggestions, Kuroo and Bokuto were your favorite friends.

Kenma groaned, bored of the conversation, he was dragged there because he is Kuroo's best friend so he was forced to go wherever he went.

"Do you have an issue?" you asked, sassily, placing your hands on your hips.

"Your voice is so damn annoying,"

You pretended to gasp, gripping your chest. "How mean Kenma!... Is what I would say if I cared. I didn't even want you here so please refrain from making any unnecessary comments,"

Kenma rolled his eyes at your bratty attitude.

★ You two banter all the time, some would consider it flirting but you never saw it in that way. Mutual disrespect for each other... Yeah, only mutual disrespect.

You whined, begging Kuroo not to leave you with Kenma. He was on his way to class, if he went to class, you'd be left with Kenma.

"Please Tetsuro!" you begged, giving him the best puppy eyes you could. "Stay! Skip class! Please!!"

Kuroo smiled, he loved seeing your bratty side, it excited him. "You know I can't n/n, just stay with Kenma, I'll be done in an hour,"

You groaned. Kenma cocked his eyebrow at you.

"Trust me, I'm not happy either," he mumbled, his hands shoved deep into his sweatshirt pockets.

"Oh of course you are Kenma! I know you're in love with me, you love being around me!" you cheered, sarcastically.

Kenma visibly gagged, causing Kuroo to laugh.

★ Eventually though... The two of you were forced to be around each other more, creating an unusual bond. You both don't directly hate each other, you just don't have a super stable friendship. But! You guys can be with each other without having the mean tension.

"Sup bitch, have you seen Kuroo?" you asked, placing your legs on Kenma's lap.

He shoved them off him instantly.

"Disgusting. And I don't know where he is, I think he went to grab some snacks for movie night,"

You hummed to yourself. A happy tune was in your mind and you couldn't help but hum.

"Can you hum quieter? Holy shit, so annoying," Kenma said, pulling his own hair. Obviously he was joking.

And with him saying that, you hummed as loud as you could.

Kuroo is pissed, and rightfully so.

He would definitely get jealous, but would also be so sly about it as well.

He would amp up the pda while looking smug to show everyone who you belong to.

Kuroo glared at the letter you were holding as you read the inside of it, you had to admit, the letter was actually very sweet but unfortunately, you had to reject whoever had the guts to wrote this (if you ever found out, of course) because if it weren’t for you here, your boyfriend would’ve probably shred it to pieces.

“Um…Tetsu?” You asked worryingly to your boyfriend.

“Yes, kitten?” He answered back with his usual sly smirk, his voice sounded calm, but the aura surrounding him said otherwise.

“You know I’m going to reject this person anyway right? So why’re you still jealous?”

You were just ready to go pick up Ushijima at the gym after you stayed behind to do your homework, when suddenly a white letter slipped from your desk, in a midst of panic, you just grabbed the letter without knowing anything and quickly rush to the volleyball gym where your boyfriend was in the middle of his solo practice with Tendou.

“Wakatoshi-kun!” You called out to him and notices how soft his features are after he notices you. He nodded at you as acknowledgement before turning back to his practices in which Tendou quickly ran up to you to.

“Y/N!” The red head chirped.

You greeted him back while still fixing your bag as it’s still messy from the running, but this time you noticed the letter and opened it.

Tendou quickly raised his eyebrow when he saw a blush on your face while reading the letter so he put two and two together and quickly realized that this is a love letter, so he quickly motion Ushijima to see the situation for himself (he was also curious to see what his reaction would be). So you hesitated gave your boyfriend the letter, unsure of what his reaction would be. But after reading it, he just…shrugged it off.

“Whaaat? You’re not worried that someone might steal Y/N here??” Tendou gasped at his best friend.

“That’s impossible, I know Y/N wouldn’t do this.” And then he began to explain how you are a good significant other, and how your relationship with him has always been good so it’s just not logical for you to just doesn’t made sense.

“Besides, this person doesn’t even leave their name on it, so how can Y/N know who this is?” He ended.

Honestly, you and Tendou were very impressed of how professional he handled this.

the hard seltzer drinkers. doesn’t usually drink any hard alcohol and thinks beer is disgusting. catch them on a good day and they MIGHT take a shot. probably gets called a pussy but in reality they just prefer not to be absolutely slammed the next morning. probably ends up getting a little drunk anyway.

akaashi. kenma. kita.

the shot takers. doesn’t matter if its tequila, vodka, or some random ass liquor. pour them a shot and its down the hatch in 2 seconds. doesn’t even need a chaser. will absolutely take a shot off of somebody’s body or play a game of “how many can you down in 10 seconds”. and they literally just dont stop until they’re basically blacked out.

When they insult you(Kenma and Oikawa)

A/N this blog is so weird- It’s like 400 styles in one.

Genre: Angst (it’s not SUPER bad- I can write a part two as comfort if y’all would like that)

Part two

(not having a job)

Being with Kenma is wonderful. He never looks at other girls, fights you, and always is there to support and love you, so of course you did the same.

You’ve been dating him since high-school so you were there for him through his volleyball days all the way to his billionaire status. Naturally, you both loved and were there for each other unconditionally, so it was no surprise when he got down on one knee and proposed.

Currently the two of you were in the process of wedding planning which was super fun, but stressful as hell. 

Kenma made enough money from streaming and his business and he loved to stream. So he was still working when he really didn’t need to. 

You’d quit your job to focus on the planning and all had been going well.

Now the week was two months away and all you had left was the finishing touches.

All of the major stuff was done, and now all you had to do was plan the little things. Little things that would’ve been really helpful to have your fiancé's input on, so you opened his door slowly to see if he was streaming, which he was, but he was in the middle of a break.

“Hey baby,” you smiled, walking over to sit on his lap, “are you busy right now?”

You couldn’t tell when you walked in, but he seemed pissed off. 

“I’ve been streaming for four hours. All I want is a break, what do you want?” He responded harshly.  

“Just turn off the stream, I wanna talk about wedding stuff,” you bargained. 

“One of us has to work, Y/N. I know it’s fun to just lounge around on the couch and pick flowers but I have a real job. A job I need to support you and this lavish wedding you want.” 

After hearing this, you simply got up and left the room. If that was truly how he felt, so be it. There didn’t have to be a wedding after all.

Going into a guest room and slamming the door, you instantly started applying for jobs. Kenma knew you were waiting until you finished college to get a job again, and that he’d support you through getting your masters degree. But clearly, that was a lie. 

And you wouldn’t force him to support you any longer.

(Not dressing up)

You were 20 weeks pregnant. Finally at the point where it didn’t just look like you ate a lot. It looked like you were growing a baby. This also meant that it was getting harder to find an outfit that wasn’t just a shirt that was streched out too much, or an ugly maternity dress that made you look even fatter than you felt. Thankfully, Oikawa was there for you ever step of the way. Buying you new things to try on, encouraging you, and telling you how beautiful you looked. But his views changed one day.

Now you and your husband, Oikawa, were walking around the grocery store. Just buying food for the week when one of his old classmates came up to him.

She was pregnant too, and shopping for groceries with her husband. The only difference was she was absolutely glowing. Her bump fit her nicely, and the dress she was wearing looked amazing on her. It gave her a very cheery vibe.

Since you didn’t go to Aoba Johsai, you didn’t know them. So, you just smiled and looked at the food intently, as if you didn’t know what you were going to grab. 

After a while they left and Oikawa’s mood seemed to have worsened.

“What’s wrong babe?” You asked, trying your best to keep up with the speed that he walked to the cash register, “and we’re missing a few things.”

“Why can’t you look more like Nami? She’s 24 weeks and she still dresses nicely,” He complained, gesturing towards your Crocs, T-shirt, and sweatpants.

“I’ve tried, nothing you good on me,” you were about to cry. You didn’t know if it was pregnancy hormones or if it was the fact that your husband was berating you in public. It was a good thing the cashier had her airpods in and the store was fairly empty.

“Well maybe you should stay home then. It’s embarrassing when my friends’ wives look better than my own,” he grumbled, picking up the pancake mix and syrup you put in the basket, “seriously? Are you trying to look like a whale?” 

Instead of explaining how HIS child was craving it, you simply put it back on the shelf and was silent the entire way home.

That night, after putting everything up and showering you rolled on your side of the bed alone. When he wrapped his arms around your bump as he did every night, you pushed him off. Ignoring him when he tried to apologize and reason with you.

The next day when he apologized, bought you new clothes, jewelry, and the food you wanted you still didn’t talk to him.

It’d take a lot more than bribery for you to forgive his actions.
