grease is on telly and i hate to say it but young john travolta straddling a car motor, slowly being lowered from the ceiling, before twirling his lil forehead curl and rubbing cling film on his crotch, was so disgustingly formative to my pre-adolescent sexuality...........i had no idea what ‘the chicks’ll cream’ meant but best believe i rewound that vhs to DEATH

Please may we have 5 fun facts about the production of the movie Grease?

i thought youd never ask.

1) That scene where they have the car race, they drove through a lot of stagnant water and (surprise) a lot of the cast and crew got really sick for a few days after

2) Chacha diGregorio’s actress was suffering from an ectopic pregnancy during filming. She filmed her final scene in the morning and had surgery that same afternoon.

3) Marty Marischino’s actress couldnt dance. Full stop. So if you look closely in all the dance scenes, shes always sitting down or leaning on something rather than dancing

4) All the background characters had canon names to help keep the individual extras straight. You can hear the names if you listen closely.

5) Kennickie’s actor had a massive crush on olivia newton john, to the point he would repeatedly mess up his lines when she was around. He ended up marrying her sister.

REVAMPING THIS BLOG
