in reference to your kevrenee post first thank you for those thoughts i have never considered them as a ship but also please have you ever thought about kevin/renee/allison…bc personally i think renee could fix kevin while allison could make him worse and all together??? who knows..
OH YEAH REAL allison and kevin would absolutely be the i miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain ship of aftg !! i think people forget that allison (not unlike andrew) has a billion bad habits that go from gambling to disordered eating to overdrinking to retail therapy and more, and that she WOULD drive kevin up the wall with all the situations she puts herself in because of those habits. so really she would just be kevins third I Can Fix Her project
he will eventually find that he cant fix her. but i think by then he will already have started caring about her too much to actually leave it as it is, and i can see a lot of tender loving care (agh!) forming at that acceptance that allison is a person worth looking out for + someone he actually wants to see sane and happy and healthy.
im reminded of nora sakavic (?!) saying kevin doesnt like it when allison wears heels that are too high because hes afraid of her hurting her ankle. i think perhaps kevin cares a lot about allisons wellbeing. i think he would believe in her as wholeheartedly as he believes in andrew and neil and jean, and he would be the first person to do so

if you want to give me specific ones I can definitely do that but I'll just go with the more common ones for now. (also sorry if this is a test and I'm supposed to say like. Kevin and Himself. but if it is, I'm going to fail)
Kevin/Allison. first and foremost. girl you'd think that this would be ironically but no. they're hot, they're fiesty, they'd definitely be some degree of toxic, at least at first. they serve and slay etc. no matter how you go about it, their get-together will always eat because how do you put two people like *that* in any kind of relationship without it being delicious. I was on a bit of a kevallison kick some time ago I need to start thinking about them more (the way I said "common" and started off with one of the least popular ones)
if we're strictly talking romantic ships then kandreil goes here (classic) but if including non romantic ships then Kevin/Andrew because what even the HELL is that they're so good they're so good
I've never really indulged much into Kevin/Jeremy stuff but Kevin having a crush on Jeremy is scrumptious to me. just the way he canonically is with Jeremy is wonderful
another non romantic pairing (definitely derailing here) but Matt/Kevin. I think they have a fun canon relationship and great potential for even more. bonus points for Kevin having a small crush on matt
I'm not super serious about Kevin/Aaron but I've indulged and I've had some fun times with them like it's so random it doesn't make much sense but that's so great.
I'm not really thinking of any others, besides Jean/Kevin which for some reason? doesn't really compel me?

My basic and easy answer is kandreil
My less popular one is MAYBE Kevin x Allison (kevison? kevallison?) the potential there for me is *chefs kiss*
I fuck with kevjean, kandrew/kevneil seperately and jenee is also v special to me. jerejean is a given at this stage tbh.
I think all this really says about me is that Kevin Day works in almost every possible pairing because he is pretty and bisexual and has more bitches than anyone else. Any pairing involving Kevin is 100000000x hotter just because he’s there.

We’re back, bitches!
You will never escape me.
It’s time, once again, for AFTG Hot Takes, the show where I just say whatever the fuck pops into my head.
Today’s topic: Kevin Day and his romantic interests.
Now, okay, I’ve discussed this a bit in previous posts. I’m not going to go too far in depth for the two ships I’ve talked about already.
Please, for the love of god, these are just my opinions. I’m literally just a teenager on the internet. It’s not that deep, you don’t need to write a ten paragraph essay on why grooming is okay (although tbf that made my night. Still waiting on a reply, bb)
With that out of the way, let’s get into it.
I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of most Kevin ships. I only like two of them, so we’ll save those for last.
1. First up we’ve got Kevandriel, Kevneil, and Kevandrew (pls dont @ me, i’m not 100% on those names)
I hate it. Despise it. Just so bad. Ew.
I made a whole post on why I have Kevandriel, read it if you want.
Kevandrew (Kevin/Andrew) just doesn’t make any sense. Their personalities don’t mesh at all. Kevin doesn’t take no for an answer, which is something that is so important for Andrew.
Kevneil (Kevin/Neil) is one I just don’t like because, as we all know, I am a petty bitch. I don’t have a reason for disliking it, really. It just... idk, gives me the ick.
2. Moving on, Kevin and Thea.
I made a post regarding this one too, check it out (or don’t).
I don’t feel like rehashing all of that tho, honestly. (but pls feel free to read the reblogs, some were v good and others just made me cackle. Still looking at you, grooming guy)
3. Now, onto the ones I haven’t discussed. We’ll go with Kevjean first.
So, I mean... it’s not impossible that this actually happened in cannon, however. Just judging by the reactions these two had to each other once Jean was out of the Nest, them sustaining a healthy relationship would be nearly impossible.
Also, I am a diehard Jerjean fan (thanks gus_47, I blame you and the masterpiece that is Hoax for this) so I just... can’t bring myself to picture Jean with anyone else.
4. Kevin and Jeremy!
Listen, I don’t hate this one. I simply adore those fun lil fics where Kev is tripping over himself cause he’s in love with Jeremy (looking at you, quicksand). They’re so fun! But, Jerjean owns my soul (again, thank you Hoax) so it’s gonna have to be a no from me.
5. Kevin and Matt
I’ll be real with you, I didn’t know this existed until yesterday, and I am shocked.
I haven’t stopped to think about it much, and I probably won’t, because Dan. I just- that is her husband, excuse you.
6. Kevallison (Kevin/Allison)
I don’t mind this one, honestly. I sorta get it, tbf.
HOWEVER.
Diehard Renison fan. Enough said.
And now, at last, we come to the two Kevin ships that I can (and do!!) suport whole-heartedly.
7. Kevaaron !! (Kevin/Aaron)
Listen, I just love their personalities. I love the idea of these two assholes healing together. Simply adore.
Before you say it (you know who you are, and yes I’m still salty ab this) I. Don’t. Ship. It. Because. I. Want. Andrew. And. Kevin. Together. ffs, people. What kind of person do you think I am?
8. Kevin and... (drumroll please)
Himself!
I am 100% in support of aroace Kevin living his best life with his friends and family.
I mean, it’s lovely. Spectacular. 10/10, adore it.
