Sorry guys for being MIA, but when I said that I would have stopped watching the show I was serious. Someone could say "but you shouldn't watch this show for a ship", well that can work if you love the show more than the ship, but like I already said before, I've never been invested in the show as much as I've been since Kevison as a couple became a real possibility in S4. So, I can live without watching how it ends.

Considering that I am not even happy with how they treated my favourite character (Madison obviously) that got a random and rushed HE just so they could get rid of her and all the things they are saying in interviews to downplay kevison's story, it would be ridiculous for me, keep wasting my time in this show.

Things that I hate to 100000000%:

The wasted potential of kevison from a storytelling pov.

The wasted potential of Justin and Cait's chemistry since it hasn't been used for not even the 50% of their capacity.

The underwhelming ending of this amazing couple that it didn't even feel like a true ending since Kevin was obviously about to open up about his feelings for her. Instead, their ending in S5 was so much better for a closure.

Being treated like a stupid. They can say in interviews what they want but it doesn't match with what Justin said during these last years and overall it doesn't match at all with what has been shown on screen!!! All the people who believed in them and their love story were on drugs? LOL please

The way now they talk about Kevison and Madison in particular that it's so disrespectful that I cannot even.

The fact that we will never know the truth about how things REALLY went: when and why they decided to erase all the hints about kevison being endgame and their S6 storyline?

Our wonderful couple isn't' endgame (BUT ONLY BECAUSE KEVIN HAS BEEN THE SLOWEST MAN ON EARTH!!!) and the writers gave that poor man the "cliché lack of originality are we doing this again" ending BUT "someone" never had and never will, an incredible thoughtful smart gentle funny boss like you (I said boss because we know who the captain is!!!). So thank you for everything you did. Let's keep celebrating kevison together who deserved better, it's true, but at least we can say something that someone else can't: we got almost everything and what we got was pure gold! ♥️

i still don't know how k*phie are soulmates when he broke her heart twice - he cheated on her when they were married. then he got her to dump her bf to give him one more chance, and after she forgives him he dumps her again. i genuinely don't think they'll work out a 3rd time lol

There’s a myriad of definitions for the term “soulmates” so it’s a lot harder to define it and therefore categorise this or any relationship for that matter without writing a full essay, but I will say this:

The main reason why I never believed in k*phie is because they were never believable in the first place. I’ve said this a billion times in the past already, but the first time I ever watched TIU was Feb 2020, having binged all seasons and catching up to the live broadcast by The Cabin episode, and there was absolutely nothing in these four seasons that ever made me believe that they were compatible for each other in any way whatsoever. Nothing. 

Argue with me if you want, I’d be more than happy to share my points. But there really was nothing. Just boredom from my end and the desire for them to just move it tf along coz I was just so over this constant back and forth.

And I don’t mean anything against Sophie either. She was funny at times but overall I was just indifferent to her. But that goes for every romantic partner Kevin’s had until Madison (but that’s a story for another time).

Kevin and Sophie represented everything wrong about the first love trope. Everything. Their relationship is nothing but fantasy and idealism and a bond forged in the past that has done nothing but hold them back. 

Kevin being done “chasing ghosts” was supposed to be his growth moment. He was never supposed to look back anymore. They’ve already watched the movie and have made peace with each other so they can now move on with their lives because that’s when they’re at their best, ever realise that?

I mean, this no slight whatsoever but the fact that they have to go through psychotherapy which is defined as “a group of therapies designed to help someone change their thinking patterns and improve their coping skills” because they clearly still aren’t able to move beyond their turbulent past together is just so utterly ridiculous it’s just laughable. And you expect us to believe that this is a love story for the ages?

I just cannot believe that their planned ending for Kevin is going to be the childhood love trope lmao. That's just so cheesy and unrealistic and stuck in the past. It undermines all of Kevin's development. There's a hundred other reasons why I don't like it, but you don't need me ranting up a storm in your inbox.

Yes it's super cheesy, yes it's super unrealistic and even more so it’s such a disservice to everything they’ve built on the show for Kevin and Madison as individual characters and for what they were building together too.
