Geppetto wished to make a real boy from wood

and Santiago searched for his treasure from a dream

and my dream has been to make my heart into a real book that is gently offered as a friend, in naked vulnerability.

not as a book of pages that reach an end. but of a heart (spirit) that is eternal in its True nature.

knowing that the treasure is (inside, Anew)

we learn and are inspired by good fiction, but we can be reborn by True illumination.

this world is also full of illusion. of lies. and Pinocchio learned of this. we all have been given a will that is free to choose how to behave. we are instilled with a conscience that points towards morality to be able to discern between right and wrong. we have a heavenly Parent who is both Author and Creator of the universe. but we also have to personally choose to become a daughter or a son (according to our given birth gender) of our heavenly Father by coming to “believe…” in the eternal Son rather than following a lie.

The name Pinocchio is a combination of the Italian words pino (pine), and occhio (eye); Pino is also an abbreviation of Giuseppino, the diminutive for Giuseppe (the Italian form of Joseph); one of the men who greatly influenced Collodi in his youth was Giuseppe Aiazzi, a prominent Italian manuscript specialist who supervised Collodi at the Libreria Piatti bookshop in Florence. Geppetto, the name of Pinocchio's creator and “father,” is the diminutive for Geppo, the Tuscan pronunciation of ceppo, meaning a log, stump, block, stock or stub.

inside (the inner space) of the heart we can find the Ark of the new covenant (of grace) of which the Ark in the Temple was made of wood covered in pure gold that represents the atoning work of the Son (the Word of God)

and so by welcoming the entrance of the Spirit we become the Temple of Light on garden earth

(Light is Love)

isn’t it amazing that people make beautiful things from the Trees?

we’re made in the image of our Creator (in male & female) and so we are inspired to create, yet to do so with a heart & mind of humility (as before the reverence of a King)
