Thank you to the folks who voted on the poll and made a decision for me. lol Since 80% of y'all told me to post, here is the final product!

SilMil AU Mars's power awakening (pre-transformation)

As opposed to the present-day Sailor Senshi team being able to transform as soon as they receive their transformation items, I envision the past-life Senshi needing to train loads to hone their powers, so all of them can use their elementary powers to a limited extent even without transformation.

I'm very excited with how this piece turned out, especially with how the bow and the flames looked. I actually wasn't too sure where I was going with this when I started, it's like Mars was guiding me along the way to make sure this looks as epic as I could make it. XD

I toyed with the background quite a bit and was torn between the gradient black-to-red background or a plain gray background. The gradient with the flame speckles seems to give a better vibe. But a plain gray one also looked pretty cool, and I could see the different glow better from a lighter background. ✰🔥✰

I had to add the Senshi transformation item/the communicator-looking gadget on Mars's wrist. I TOTALLY forgot about that in my initial wip post, and had to go through episodes of PGSM to find the best screenshot for a good reference. lol

Now let's see if I can keep this up with Venus, Mercury and Jupiter's. :P

This is my first time drawing the Senshi team with such detail (omg Jupiter and Mercury’s hair... it’s always the hair...), and also my first attempt drawing Princess Sailor Moon!  

This was originally a wip that’s over a year’s old. Randomly last week I was suddenly motivated to work on this again, and somehow miraculously finished it in time for the anniversary of Final Act’s air date!

I am making a coloured version of the line art. Will post it once it's complete!

I start drawing things because I get inspired by the time of year, and then I never finish the piece until after it's overdue, so I then need to wait for another year to post. This is torture. XD

I accidentally deleted the original post, so I lost the old comments and tags, and won’t be able to see if people likes the image or write comments even if reblogs are floating around 😭. (Though I doubt it’s be going around since it’s a live action fanart and it doesn’t get that much attention...)

This is the result of inspiration from a lovely set of Voltron artwork by @lowaharts that I randomly stumbled upon on pixiv a few years back.  Though I had no clue what Voltron was, the concept of their artwork was stunningly amazing it had stayed with me all these time.

Finding the concept highly compatible with the darker themes of PGSM, I couldn’t shake the idea out of my mind, so I finally decided to attempt to do something similar with my own interpretation and symbolism that fits the character story of our inner senshi in PGSM.

Was thinking of how Usagi got to speak with Princess Serenity in her head in a glowing white space in PGSM, and I started thinking how Rei would feel if she got to meet Mars from the past life in her mind.
