What Kickstarter Projects Do You Love to Support?
What Kickstarter Projects Do You Love to Support?
As we’re gearing things up for our cross-country move, one of my tasks is to sort through everything we’ll need to change our address on, from paperwork to items we pre-ordered months ago. Among those pre-ordered items are various Kickstarter projects we’ve backed, and it got me thinking: what kind of Kickstarter projects do the readers of Three Ravens enjoy supporting? And how far do you go?…

Bestselling Vesper Project Launches its third Kickstarter Campaign, Chapter 3: Conquest:
The Vesper Team is now back on Kickstarter as they launch the third chapter of the Vesper Project. In this campaign called Chapter 3: Conquest, 36 new amazing models are introduced to its storyline.
Going back to the first campaign of the Vesper Project, the story starts with humanity travelling into space for exploration and creating the Vesper Project to help them discover new sources of sustainable energy to help them survive. Vesper, an artificial intelligence, helped the people find Planet NK-06 where sustainable energy is abundant. As they harvested the energy and created colonies on the newfound planet, the strange energy modified Vesper and made it more intelligent and powerful, wanting the energy all for itself. The people formed the Coalition to fight Vesper as it started to kill everyone on Planet NK-06.
The story continues with Chapter 2: The First Wall, where Vesper prepared its army of mech robots to attack the first defence of the Coalition. The First Wall served as a port where all shipments of sourced collected energy are dropped off and served as a distribution centre. In this campaign, a hero was introduced to fight the army of mechs.
And today, the team is proud to announce the third chapter of the Vesper Project, Chapter 3: Conquest. In this campaign, an alien race Aura came into the planet to harvest the same energy Vesper and the Coalition are fighting for. Since many lives were already lost during their battles against each other, they are now forced to rethink their primary concern: to continue to engage in battle or fight a common enemy.
Tumblr media
Vesper Project Chapter 3 was launched last July 17 on Kickstarter and got fully funded after 24 hours. The campaign has already made its minimum stretch goal and is encouraged to see an increase in pledges for the remaining weeks of the campaign. Chapter 3 will be live until August 16, so make sure to support them as soon as possible. As of writing, they have 1 slot left for their early bird access.
The Vesper Project Chapter 3 is a mech and alien sci-fi STL file project for 3D printing, attracting anyone who’s into tabletop gaming, miniatures, and 3D enthusiasts. The team worked for months in crafting the storyline and creating the characters to produce unique characters and story progression.
Join them on Kickstarter
Having 36 new amazing models for this campaign, backers can choose to pledge for the whole Chapter 3 characters, or have a mix of Chapter 1 & Chapter 2 files – but most of all, they could also pledge for all the files launched from the first campaign! Also, the stretch goals for this campaign are to die for so make sure to support this project and tell your friends!
For more updates, follow the Vesper Project on Facebook and Instagram.

There's only one week left on my kickstarter for FOUR books!!!
I really pushed a lot of boundaries on the page layouts and presentation of these books, they're all GORGEOUS and I am SO proud of every single one!
Tumblr media
Each book is self contained and 125-175 pages, so you can pick whichever sounds most exciting to you if you're not ready to jump into all four right off the bat!
Pirates, Summer Camp, Ghost Hunting, and Victorian Vampire Hunters!
But, the main charaters do also have a developing romance over the course of the series!
Tumblr media
it has been a TON of work to edit these into books and fix up some of the art and writing, but I promise I could not be happier with the work I've done!
Tumblr media
Gay time traveling vampires solving supernatural mysteries. what's not to love! ONE WEEK LEFT!!! BACK IT NOW!!!!!!!!!! or don't it's ok but IF YOU WANT THEM!!!! time is running out!
Tumblr media
If you can't back the project, I totally understand! Please share if you can, I'm really struggling to reach my audience since I can't post about it on my comic!
Thank you all so much for the support so far, it means the world to me!

My kickstarter for The Beekeeper's picnic (cosy point and click game featuring a retired Sherlock Holmes) has the unusual reward of being able to buy the game's code, hand bound into a book!
But how?! Enjoy this little vlog of me making the interior of the book!

(This is definitely not supposed to teach you to bookbind, by the way. For that, try DAS bookbinding!)

Today’s aesthetic: when a successful crowdfunding project drops off the face of the planet for like two and a half years, then when backers get squirrelly about the lack of communication and finally start asking for refunds, posts a faintly pissed off sounding update on Kickstarter to the effect of “I don’t know what everybody’s upset about, we’ve been providing monthly progress reports via the company Discord”.

Time is Running Out to Back Our KS Campaign!
Want to help fans make their publishing dreams come true?

Want an anthology that feels like a fandom zine, except the fanworks are completely legal?
Want to support a queer-owned indie publisher run by fandom's own @unforth?
THEN HAVE WE HERE AT DUCK PRINTS PRESS GOT AN ANTHOLOGY FOR YOU!
Tumblr media
The Kickstarter campaign to back Aim For The Heart: Queer Fanworks Inspired by Alexandre Dumas's "The Three Musketeers" ends on Saturday, July 15th, at 10:15 AM Eastern Time - as of the time I'm posting this, there's only 48 hours left to back!
For this collection, we recruited 20 authors and 16 artists who love Athos, Porthos, Aramis, d'Artagnan, Milady, Madame Bonacieux, and the whole gang from Dumas's wonderful historical melodrama. These creators' mission was simple: take this long-adored story and make it queer! The result is an amazing collection of works exploring the nuances of these characters, delving into issues of identity, gender, and sexuality—telling and retelling a story we all know and love.
We've got a great book! We've got gorgeous merch! So come on over and check out our campaign, and get your book on!

I've been working on this project with Sha for almost a year now and it seems unbelievable that we're about to launch so soon!!
I realized that I tend not to share a lot about my inner workings, as I'm so used to communicating via art, but there's so much I want to talk about in regard to the conception and process of TO11.
When I was a child, I had always been into mythology, fairytales and folklore from all places, especially Greek and Norse mythology as those were always popularized and easily accessible. Growing up in SEA, I was always told tales from Malaysia and the countries surrounding us, but as I grew older, I started to wonder why South East Asian folklore wasn't as popular as Greek or Norse myths even though we also had stories that were equally as interesting and captivating.
This led me down a rabbit hole of learning about the history of S.E.A and how due to war and colonization, so much of our cultural history has started to disappear since most of our stories are passed down orally. This motivated me to start working on the development of Tales and Oracle of Eleven with my friend Sha Roose, who I asked to be a writer for the anthology.
Tumblr media
Collecting stories from different countries was quite a challenging task, especially since many of these stories were passed down through oral tradition and have been scarred by the painful effects of colonization. In some countries, we see local stories, once woven into the fabric of their communities, systematically erased and slowly forgotten. Despite facing resource limitations, Sha approached the research and writing with great care, making sure to select stories that were not widely known and focused on ones featuring diverse protagonists, intriguing outcomes, and meaningful analogies.
I'm so happy to be able to invite 11 artists from these 11 countries as well to participate in this project. Besides making art for us, the artists also graciously allowed us to interview them and to get their lived experience of being SEA be it if they are still living there or living overseas as Diasporas. I've learnt so much from them, like did you know Timor Lorosa'e ( commonly known as Timor-Leste ) just gained their independence in 2002?
Tumblr media
Anyways, this project has taken about 2+ years to make, and even now I'm still working on the art. ( 64% completed ) Sha and I have truly poured our hearts into this project and If you're still here, thank you for reading this all the way, I really appreciate it.
Tumblr media
We're about 11 days away from the launch on Kickstarter, and if you can, please follow us there and share the project! Also, a quick reminder that we will be doing extremely limited quantities of early bird bundles so hit the notify me button on Kickstarter to be the first to know when we launch on the 11th of July, 11:11am EST!
