Since it has to be PG (professional document and all) I was toying with “You’re going to be amazing” but the pull of “No dogs on the moon” is extremely strong!!!

I thought I needed a new external hard drive to backup my mac and all my thesis shit BUT I FOUND MY BACKUP THAT I BOUGHT WHEN I’D WANTED TO RUN INQUISITION ON MY MAC by partitioning it to run windows (which didn’t work sadly) - so it sat unused on my shelf for 3 years

all I needed was a new usb 3.0 cord and VOILA we have a functioning 1TB external... no need for the new seagate one I was going to buy on amazon

things i did today:

watered all the outdoor plants

did a bunch of dandelion weeding

set up a grow light for my succulents, which were struggling

trimmed off my echeverias so i can propagate them

repotted a mystery succulent my mom’s had for a while since it outgrew the crappy terrarium it was in before

sadly had to throw out the hen of my hen and chicks, but since the chicks seem ok i’m hoping it’ll grow back

cut back our severely neglected orchid since it’s growing right out of its pot

A Thing I Found Out Today: A male colleague (another master's student) in an adjacent research group has been actively badmouthing me and talking behind my back to other students and potentially professors since - oh, roughly summer 2015.
