Well, he didn’t need much prompting, did he? which is why I think he wanted to do that for a looooong time even if it made him misteriously ill
Okay, sooooo this drama has:
hot tsundere male lead with a dark past and trauma (aka the OG ML set-up)
heroine with abnormal ability (can see the future by touching someone with her lips lol)
second lead/ex that’s just set on getting FL back slightly annoying ngl
second FL that’s annoyingly childish but ultimately harmless so far
some crazy and dangerous mystery brewing underneath?? suspense thriller meets romcom
cliches for days!
HOT CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OTP
must a show have plot?? can it not be just about OTP wanting to have sex?? the longing?? the tension??
with fun bonuses like:
a fun sidekick/bff for each lead (with actual stories of their own)
office romance!
romance kicked-off bc FL saw in her future she was gonna sleep with the hot boss when she kissed him by “accident”
This show reminds me so much of older kdramas, and it just has a lot of the old school romcom formula, so how can I not love it? I mean, I know how this all sounds like because we’re apparently in the era of super sophisticated plots and stories that just feel grounded in reality and are relatable and while all that is fine and deep (and hey I do love some of those!), what got me into kdramas were the over the top silly stories like this one! Full of cliches and predictable outcomes. It just feels good that this kind of thing hasn’t completely died down yet, even thought there are less and less dramas like this one.
Because sometimes, a girl just wants her crazy nonsense and good makeout scenes without being reminded of the reality. To just sit back, relax and enjoy your drama. And I think that’s beautiful lol

I swear I wasn’t going to dip into this one until later since my unwatched list is getting longer and longer each passing day. I kept getting pestered by on of my close friends to and I’m so glad I did. It’s one of the weirdest romance storylines I had seen in awhile that totally works. Yes it’s kinda a cheesy, predictable weird one, but it works. Now I always loved Yoon Kye Sang from ‘Chocolate’ which that drama is seriously one of my tops (big time melodrama though compared to this), so it came to no surprise that he was oozing sexiness in this. I mean oof the chemistry between him and Seo Ji Hye are 🥵 first handful of episodes are spicy. It’s kinda of ironic though, that this is technically a slow burn romance. It also for me falls into that category where the first half is ten times better then the middle and last half. Overall though this is a fun top tier chemistry romcom.

EXCITED FOR YUMI’S CELLS 2
I just finished watching the pilot week episodes and it was so good, I am in for the upcoming thrill ride yay.
I am also holding my Wednesday’s very dearly because I’ve been so infatuated with Kiss Sixth Sense, I am so thankful that Disney+ releases the 2 episodes on the same days and time lol. I’ve read the webtoon, and loving it so, and when watching the drama, even though the characters only share the same name, while other backgrounds are greatly differs, I love the drama so much.
I also watch Why Her which is helmed by one of my favorite actress, Seo Hyun Jin. So I’ve been having quite the colorful time these days lol. I think watching My Liberation Notes restore my appetite to watch k-dramas hohoho.

there's this one special drama I really really like even though the ending was sad — came to me and become a star
the dialogues were amazing and so the acting
truly felt the innocence of their love when they still didn't know each other's true circumstances, then the pain after they knew — it was so realistic and brutal
but honestly, the whole drama just felt cathartic
it was a really good one

Monthly Magazine Home. 5/6

What could’ve been an excellent perfect drama, eventually became a ‘meh’ drama. The first half of this is wonderful. It’s predictable, can get corny, with also being hilarious lite and fluffy. Unfortunately it lost its flow somewhere around episode ten and on and never fully recovered. The veteran cast is excellent, Im a huge fan of both leads, but for me they don’t have great chemistry together. They both shine separately in this. I mean Kim Ji Suk is absolutely freaking hilarious here. And Jung So Min is 👌 Just during romance scenes felt nada with them. 🤷♀️ Overall for me it’s an okay drama, I would give it a go, especially if you’re a fan for those ones where you fast through sometimes making it a quickie
