I was waiting for someone else. In the backyard of the hotel, on the streets, on the streetcar, and in his room. I prayed for him to return alive. That he must come back in one piece.

Man to Man
Romantic Comedy where an action star and a secret agent become entangled in a complicated mission of national security where few are who they seem to be and fewer people can be trusted.
I loved the story. It had a nice balance between action, comedy and romance. I loved the bromance, the friendships and the connections between the characters.
I recommend it!

Comparable to: Beyond Evil (kdrama); Taxi Driver (kdrama)
I love dystopia type of scenarios so this storyline was really interesting. Yes in ways it has been done before, but this was very nicely executed. First and foremost the acting in this is what makes this drama so brilliantly brilliant. It’s a very dark series. So if you’re looking for fluffy-ness and romance, it’s nowhere to be seen. No BL either. Maybe a sparkling of hints, but more leaning onto bromance then anything else. Nonetheless this is a excellent gripping, thrilling series. Ji Sung is highlight here. Can you expect any less.😉

The devil Judge
Year : 2021 | Country : KR | Nb of episodes: 16
My rate: 5/10
Synopsis :
Set in a dystopian version of present-day Korea where daily life is chaos and society has collapsed to the point that people openly voice their distrust and hatred for their leaders. In this world bereft of law and order, Head Trial Judge Kang signals the need for change. His courtroom is the subject of a reality show where he mercilessly punishes the guilty, earning him the "Devil Judge" nickname. As a divisive figure with an aura of mystery that belies his true identity and ambitions, the public is unsure whether he is a true hero or someone, knowingly sowing the seeds of discontent in his courtroom.
A bitter rivalry has taken shape between the "Devil Judge" and the highly ambitious Jung Sun Ah, who has risen from poverty to become a corporate social responsibility foundation director. Into this turbulent world enter two childhood friends on a quest for true justice: rookie Judge Kim Ga On and Police Officer Yoon Soo Hyun. Do they have what it takes to challenge both the scheming Jung Sun Ah and the notorious "Devil Judge"?
Main cast :
Ji Sung as Kang Yo Han
Kim Min Jung as Jung Sun Ah
Park Jin Young as Kim Ga On / Kang Isaac
Park Gyu Young as Yoon Soo Hyun
My thoughts on this drama :
I was totally pumped up when I saw Ji Sung was the main character, only to crash down within 2 episodes. I'm starting to believe that modern shows with the legal background are really not my thing.
The positive aspect is the antihero attitude of the main lead when managing legal battles.
No rewatch value.
