Kim is the one person who knows that Saul Goodman’s gone, and the guy who's left is Jimmy McGill. I think she's the one person who really gets that, and you can see it when he walks in the door.
Peter Gould, Vanity Fair.
They're not doing any kind of presentation to each other. They're being together, fully. I love it. I love it so much!
They've just been restless, restless characters ... And now we're seeing a guy at peace with the choices he's made, with who he is and he's got love. He's got love for the rest of his life. He's got her.
Bob Odenkirk, EW.
As soon as we started rehearsing it, I was very affected by this dynamic where it felt like Jimmy was trying to make sure Kim was okay, with how worried she is for him, how scared she is for him, how sad she is for him, how hard it's to see him there, how hard it is to leave him there.
Even with him helping her light the cigarette, he's trying to tell her that he's okay now.
Rhea Seehorn, EW.

The other inmates wonder why Saul sometimes grabs an empty toilet roll, some paper, and a rubber band before his phone call time.

also love that jimmy's epiphany happened when he realized what she had done. she had tried to make amends, give something to a victim in need of answers. and it just clicked for him.
she saved him.
he goes and testifies, and pours his heart out, and does it for himself of course, but primarily for her. and yes, she'd already started to volunteer in that legal aid center again, but seeing him clearing his conscience like that...
maybe he saved her a little, as well.
guess there are ties you really cannot break.
