KTH NEWS ISSUE NO. 3 (4th week of July)
V FASHION FILM for Celine on Esquire Korea
On the 29th, Esquire Korea surprised the world, on their Youtube channel and Instagram profile, with 3 short episodes of a Fashion Film with Taehyung as the main focus, modeling and looking absolutely handsome wearing Celine.
Each episode shows Taehyung in completely different outfits, them all connected by his unique gaze, along with a different captions given by the magazine:

Anticipation for KTH 1 keeps growing!
K-Media reports that the anticipation from worldwide fans for V’s solo album and debut is growing, showcasing his enhanced skills with a distinctive blend of classical and lyrical influences, his unmatched baritone voice, and a wide range of musical styles.

During the interview, Eric chose Taehyung as his ideal member if he could assemble a dream k-pop group. He said "We're going to take V because V and I go way back. V is just V. We don't really need to explain that".

Eric and Taehyung have been friends since 2016. In this picture you can see Eric Nam, Tae and Honne.
Also, in a podcast from 2019, Eric shared an anecdote about an occasion when Tae visited his home and requested Eric to cook for him. Consequently, he prepared pasta.

He expressed, “I believe you'll be pleasantly taken aback! It appears to be an exciting revelation from the vocalist known as V. Jeff Benjamin, Kpop Columnist at Billboard, posted about Taehyung’s Cartier ambassadorship as well as the anticipation of Taehyung’s upcoming solo album!

Appearing on JK’s “Seven” stage and it became a trend
V visited the SBS Inkigayo set on July 30th. On this day, when Jungkook appeared on Inkigayo to perform his solo digital single 'Seven', V made a surprise appearance on stage and danced together for a few seconds. However, this appearance was not broadcast on the main broadcast.
What's funny and curious about all this is that after appearing for only a few secs and off air, V became the number 1 trending topic on the Google searches for Inkigayo!

Daegu Metropolitan City hosted the “2023 Daegu International University Student Camp” from July 23 to July 28 where they included a BTS V mural in the schedule
This is the 17th year of the Daegu Government's program to promote international exchanges between overseas and local college students and foster pro-Daegu personnel from abroad.
Many young foreigners from the Asia-Pacific cities made memories by taking pictures in front of Taehyung's mural street.

BTS has offered an impressive amount of content to their fans. They have at least two musical releases each year, to which is added other content mainly consisting of paid boxes including a DVD, a photobook and goodies, as well as free videos published on the web. You can refer to the "other content" section for more information.
To allow such productivity without getting exhausted, BTS works on a tight schedule and receives help from several collaborators, from both inside and outside their company Big Hit. As RM once tweeted: "Teamwork makes the dream work and dream makes the team work." Concerning the way they produce their music, we don't know much but thanks to notably the press conference for Love Yourself 轉 Tear, discussions with DJ Swivel and Arcade, and some behind-the-scenes anecdotes, here's a possible organization:

The creation of the series is what RM called the "planning phase". It allows them to choose a concept and to set an optimal schedule to fit all the DVDs and albums releases. It usually covers one or two years. Between 2016 and 2017, Big Hit and BTS seized the chance that success gave them to dream bigger and actually organize all their series into the Reflection of Youth (see the discography section). On that occasion, they also came with the BU, a cross-media fictional story set in BTS' works. Even more little is known about the BU's creation. The name of Linn Choi is credited for the original story in some videos' description. As the BU is built after the already existing MVs, it only includes some of them, in order to have a cohesive story that was then extended in other medias. You can refer to the BU section for more details. The Reflection of Youth and the BU are two projects following Big Hit's will to change the music industry by offering quality and cross-media products. You can refer to Big Hit Corporate Briefing with the community for a complete explanation.
BTS didn't settle for just this amazing content though. They have denounced several problems of the society in their songs and showed great open-mindedness. They've also revealed their philanthropy through several donations and a UNICEF campaign named Love Myself (website) that was notably completed by a speech from RM at the United Nations in 2018. They thus illustrate Big Hit's motto: "Artists and music for healing" as well as Bang Shihyuk's philosophy. In 2020, BTS was invited to share a word with the world on three occasions: at the Dear Class of 2020, a virtual commencement celebration bringing together inspirational leaders and artists to celebrate graduates, their families, and their communities, at the first Youth Day, and at the 75th UN General Assembly. Following their examples, a lot of ARMY invested themselves in great causes. We have One In An ARMY, a group organizing charity projects, ARMY Academy, several accounts offering free academic tutoring, or BTS ARMY Kitchen who provides recipes and tips. Several fansites have also organized charity projects to celebrate the boys' birthdays.

The enthusiasm around BTS and the impressive quality of their works resulted as well in academic studies. Professor Lee Jiyoung (Twitter) thus published BTS, Art Revolution and music critic Kim Youngdae (Twitter) released BTS The Review: A Comprehensive Look at the Music of BTS. Professor Lee made a lecture on the same theme as her book: "BTS, set a new form of arts". She also appeared in "15 min that change the world", a lecture show, where she talked about the subject "BTS and Army Grow Together, Fighting Against Prejudice" Between the 26 and 28 August 2019, a forum, "BTS Beyond & Behind" (official website in Korean, Youtube channel with English subtitles) was held in Seoul. It was mentioned on SBS News, Yonhap News, and Korea Now. You can also find pictures of the presentation on Colette Balmain's Twitter (here), as well as related articles in Italian ARMY's thread. Mayemong, an artist who performed during the forum, also released a video about it.
A seminar called "K-pop Beyond BTS: Media Technology, Creative Industries and Fandom Culture," organized by the Division of Culture and Gender Studies at the Korean Society for Journalism & Communication Studies and sponsored by BigHit also happened. A conference about BTS was also held at Kingston University in January 2020.
