"Who are those 3 female trainees?" asked Zico as he observed through the screen of the girls walking.

"The one on the far left is Choi Yuwon. She has strong abilities for dancing. Even though she lacks training, she can keep up and have the capability of an idol. Yuwon has been training for about a year and a half," explained Bang-PD.

Choi Yuwon - Korean - Training for 1 year and 6 months - 17 years old

"The one in the middle is Nakamura Kyoko. She's a Japanese trainee. Kyoko has a strong capability of rapping. She joined and trained for about 3 years in Japan and came to Korea recently." Bang-PD continued.

Nakamura Kyoko - Japanese - Training for 3 years and 2 months - 19 years old

"Who's the one on the right? She has the idol like looks and features." Rain said earning a soft chuckle from Bang-PD.

"That's Kim Eunhee. Known to be one of the best trainees in the entertainment. She's Korean-American and joined about 2 years ago. She's like born to be an idol." Bang PD smiled.

"They're all very pretty and talented. I'm thrilled to see their performances." Rain commented, Zico nodded in agreement.

"Wow, this place is so big," Yuwon said as she walked down the steps with the two girls beside her.

"Be careful," Eunhee warned as they cautiously stepped down each step. Finally, the girls had arrived at the one and only I-LAND building. Their eyes widened as they were in awe of the architecture.

Inside the building, the other trainees sat while waiting for more trainees to walk in. As the three girls walked in, they were greeted by several trainees. Yuwon settled at a seat, patting Kyoko and Eunhee to sit next to her.

"I'm so nervous," Eunhee muttered under her breath as she sat next to Yuwon.

"Well, there's nothing to be nervous about; you'll do great, Eunhee," Kyoko reassured, bringing a smile to Eunhee's face.

Finally the last unit walked in, it was two girls that were your average korean girl height. Seemed about 17-18 years old. One of the girl had a wavy brown hair, round western-like brown eyes, and a round face shape exudes a timeless charm. The other had short black hair adorned with bangs, her small face accentuates an aura of charisma, and her eyes, emanating a captivating charm.

The girls awkwardly greeted the trainees and sat next to Eunhee.

"Hi! You are?" Eunhee asked with a warm smile causing the girl next to her to seem a bit flustered.

"I'm Rena Choi, and this is Li Mei Ling," Rena introduced, prompting a soft "ohh" from Eunhee.

"You're Kim Eunhee?" Rena asked causing Eunhee to nod.

"How'd you know?" Eunhee questioned with her eyebrows raised.

"You're quite popular in the trainee community." Rena explained causing Eunhee's eyes to widen.

"In a positive or negative way?"

"Positive"

Eunhee let out a quiet phew causing Rena to laugh. Suddenly the lights turned red causing Eunhee to jump from sudden shock. Everyone let out oohs and aahs as they watched the lights flashing.

Suddenly a voice came through the speakers. "Dear 35 applicants, welcome. This is the stage of I-LAND and this place will be the place for you to prove your ability. After the gate, you'll see the unknown place which is I-LAND." Eunhee listened diligently to each word said.

"But all 35 of you can't go in there. The capacity of I-LAND is 17 people. The power those 17 people are up on you." the voice continued. Eunhee's heart raced, it was finally the moment she'd been waiting for.

"Now we'll be starting on the entry test with the performances you prepared. The entry test will be assessed by yourselves. Only those with majority votes can go into I-LAND. Those with less than 17, there will be another test. Now the test may start, you may choose who'll start." the voice echoed through the room. As the voice stopped, everyone's eyes immediately went around.

"I'll go first." Eunhee declared, capturing everyone's attention. Her voice was quite shaky from how nervous she was but she was determined. She stood up and walks to stage. Her knees shaking as she took deep breathes to calm herself down.

"Oh Kim Eunhee as first?" Zico said as he watched.

Despite her nervousness, she walked to the stage, ready to introduce herself.

"Hello, my name is Kim Eunhee. I'm 16 years old. My strengths are singing, song writing, and dancing. Good luck, and thank you." Eunhee greeted as later was applauded.

"There is some disadvantages of being the first contestant to perform." Rain commented. "That's true but the first contestant builds the standard." Zico added.

Soon the performance started, the light changed to a deep red color.

As Eunhee hit the high note during the dance break, the trainee's eyes widen in shock. After Eunhee ended the performance, it was followed by loud applauds.

"Wow, that was really impressive." Zico commented, "The way she was able to really put in the energy and be stable was insane." "The fact she was able to hit that note even during the dance break was crazy. Her vocal abilities is really shown in this performance and same with her dancing." Bang PD said with a proud smile.

"Wow, that was so good." Yuwon commented as she clapped.

"We'll start voting now." the voice returned causing shivers down the trainee's spine. Eunhee bit her lip as she nervously watched the audience glance around each other. Suddenly, Yuwon rose her hand causing a chain of trainees to raise their hand.

Eunhee's eyes couldn't believe it, as each hand rose across the room.

"The voting is now closed, Eunhee IN with all 35 votes." the voice announced. Overwhelmed with emotion, Eunhee bowed as she walked off the stage.

"Wow. All 35 votes in the first performance? That's crazy." Zico exclaimed. "Well Eunhee really did good so I expected that." Bang-PD chuckled as Rain nodded in agreement.

Soon, Eunhee knew that the dreams of her life was ahead of her.

I packed my bags and left in the dead of the night, with only a small amount of money I had managed to save up. I didn't know where I was going, but I just needed to escape the suffocating life I had been living.

 With the little money I had saved up, I booked a one-way ticket to Korea, a place I had always been fascinated with. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I was determined to make it work. I found a small apartment and took on part-time jobs to pay for my expenses. but I was finally experiencing what it was like to live a normal life. I even enrolled in Yonsei University, one of the top universities in Seoul. But my dreams of a simple, ordinary life were soon shattered when fate had other plans for me.

To my surprise, I was accepted, and I made my debut in a new boy group called BOYNEXTDOOR under KOZ ENTERTAINMENT.  I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions – excitement, fear, and uncertainty. But at the same time, I was grateful for this opportunity that allowed me to chase my dreams and be truly happy. As I stood on stage during our debut performance, I couldn't help but think about how different my life had become. I may have left behind my wealthy family and the luxurious life, but I knew I had found something much more valuable – a chance to be myself and chase my passions, regardless of my background.

My parents were livid when they found out but supported me nonetheless. For the first time in my life, I was doing something I loved, without any expectations or pressure. As I stood on stage with my new bandmates, performing in front of a sea of screaming fans, I knew I had found my true happiness and purpose in life. And for that, I will forever be grateful for my decision to run away and start a new life in Korea.
