For the horror prompts can you do dialogue 6 and scenario 3 with Zhongli? Where he's kinda yandere and protective, but with a bit stalker vibes cause it's been so long since he's been in love?

I don't normally do creepy content but I think it fits the upcoming vibes.

Stalker!Zhongli first noticed you at the tea shop, sitting just a few tables away from him. You noticed him too, sitting all by his lonesome and glancing your way from time to time. For you it was just another man maybe getting a crush on you, for him it was finding his true love, his mate, once more. He started coming and going at the exact same time as you, walking your route for a while longer each time before turning to a different path when you look back a few times too many.

Stalker!Zhongli sits at your table after a while, before you get there but offers to share it with you. From how he talks you figure that he's not a bad man, just a little awkward. You asked around about him and found that he's actually quite alone, has been for many years now. Which would explain why he found it hard to approach you. He doesn't say anything odd to you while you're sharing tea but he does offer to walk you home and gets a little upset when you refuse. That night you keep hearing footsteps behind you, all the way back to your house, but there's never anyone there when you turn around.

"Have I frightened you before? I apologize darl- miss, it's been a very long time since I've seen anyone order your flavor of tea. Someone very important to me used to drink this flavor, so I suppose I was feeling drawn to you. If you need me to escort you home I would be happy to. A pretty lady such as yourself shouldn't walk all by yourself."

Stalker!Zhongli begins to appear where you work, asking to see you, making up excuses to talk to you more and more often, but never making a move to touch you oddly enough. He says that he's looking out for you and that is true to an extent, he has scared off a few shady looking people before, while you were around, but it seems like he's taken that to mean that you need safety all the time.

Stalker!Zhongli keeps watch on the rooftop of your home, occasionally watching you sleep through the window. He longs to touch you so badly. All these years he's been without your touch, your lips, your body, your warmth. But he knows he needs to wait a bit longer, you'll see that he's the only one for you soon enough. In case you don't he has ways to make you. Every morning when you wake up you see a blur at your window, a pair of very distinct golden eyes, and just a flash of fangs.

Stalker!Zhongli gets offended when you accuse him of wanting to hurt you. He would never do anything of the sort, he only wants to keep you safe. So you can live out your life by his side again. Oh. He wasn't supposed to tell you that part yet, he usually never does until after you're married. His emotions seem to be running a little too high this time around.

Stalker!Zhongli is a model citizen, very well respected in his and many other circles. He might be a bit of a mooch but no one ever thinks of him capable of doing evil. The guards don't either, and honestly you don't even think his reincarnation story is true. For all you know he could have made the whole thing up to get your guard down. At the same time your heart aches from his words, it's scary, so as a human would you remove yourself from the scary situation. You stop going to the tea shop.

Stalker!Zhongli has never felt more rejected by you, in all the lives you've spent together. You hurt him, and he doesn't see why. He wants you to be safe, if you can't let him make you safe then he will need to force you to see things his way. Once again you hear footsteps following you, but again you don't see anyone. Your voice calls his name, shaking and afraid. Silence. And then strong arms around you, too strong to break free from, his arms, his golden eyes looking down at you, his lips slightly parted with a smile, his fangs showing themselves to you once again.

"It's wonderful how fate brought us together. Once again my darling, you will be mine. Don't be scared. Please I'm still... ah... perhaps Rex Lapis rings any bells? Or maybe Morax? Tell me, have you moaned that name before and wondered why? It's because that is a memory. One that I hope to recreate with you soon."

Stalker!Zhongli knows you're about to scream at him, to call him crazy and he really doesn't want to hear any of it. So he kisses you, soft but demanding a kiss in return, growling at the way you bite at his lips. He could bite too, he could make you bleed if he wanted to. Of course he won't, you're his precious mate. You'll see reason soon enough, he's sure of it. He'll just have to repeat every single memory he has of you to make you remember him.

Hii, just call me Skull anon. I've been very curious about how different yanderes would do so I'm asking for a request.

How would Xiao, Albedo, and Wriothesley deal with a Drug addict reader who was already in an unstable state, struggling to survive with rent and had bad trauma? The trauma could be anything you'd like.

Of course, you can deny this request if it makes you uncomfortable. No pressure or anything.

so i was a little hesitant to do this because I wasn't sure how well I could properly portray this, but going sort of off my own experience with certain things and trying to remain calm i wrote this. i can't really explain what compelled me to, but i do hope you enjoy this and please, read the warnings for this one :] <3

Yandere!Xiao would be concerned internally but look indifferent externally. He’s conflicted, because he knows you’re struggling and that humans are a lot weaker, that you need help, but he doesn’t know how to help, he’s never had to be in this position before. He consults many people, fellow adepti, Zhongli, even the Traveler, none of whom he gives the full picture to but instead dances around the main ideas and works off vague descriptions.

Xiao’s first step in helping you was moving you in to the Wangshu Inn with him, where he could watch over you better. He has a reserved room there, though he never really uses it. Sleep is beyond his needs so he rarely rests, but you need rest so he allows you to have the room. This comes with him barging in on you whenever he sees fit though, day to night at any moment he could pop in without you even knowing. He had a strange way of doing that, a lot. He isn’t sure how to help with trauma or substance abuse, those aren’t the evils he usually fights, but he knows people he can ask about that. Xiao didn’t like admitting that he didn’t know what to do, but grumbling and giving Baizhu some vague descriptions of the situation helped him get a better idea of what to do. Xiao decides to take the soft approach of slowly weening you off the awful stuff, not wanting you to be left with more problems from quitting cold turkey. It’s a long road and Xiao was sorta kinda prepared to help you through it. He likes having you this close though, this dependent on him and his help.

Yandere!Albedo struggles with his feelings. His lack of humanity means he really only experiences feelings that are typically in abundance, meaning he doesn’t feel unless the feeling is so strong it cannot be ignored. His research is all he really knows so he takes the opportunity to offer ‘assistance.’ In exchange for staying with him and allowing him to study your responses and reactions, he would help you with your addiction.

It seemed like a good deal at first, Albedo would provide adequate housing, a quaint apartment in the heart of Mondstat, in exchange for being allowed to study you as he helped you over your drug problem. It would kill two birds with one stone no? What he didn’t tell you though was that he planned to have you quit cold turkey, wanting to watch how your body would respond to the sudden withdrawals. Of course, if anything started to border on the edge of life-threatening, he’d take preventative measures to ensure you lived, but otherwise, you were not permitted to leave or take any addictive substances. Albedo oversees all your care, meaning that for the entire recovery process, you are confined to a bedroom with him hovering over you, notepad and pencil in hand and large, unblinking eyes boring holes into you. It was unsettling, and even when you were on the upswing, finally getting to where the grass was greener, he still refused to allow you out or allow others in, saying that it could compromise the research. In reality, he just didn’t want anyone else near you, he had loved having you all to himself and didn’t want to share you ever again.

Yandere!Wriothesley is surprisingly educated on what to do. Not only had a few people in similar conditions come through the prison, but it was his job to make sure that he knew everything about everyone who passed into this place. With the help of some staff at the Fortress of Meropide, he moves you into a room in the staff wing, assigning you a set of personalized staff to help with your addictions. There were only two conditions, he would check in on you every day to ensure you were sticking to your recovery and that when you were finally okay, you would work as his assistant to pay off your debt.

Wriothesley wasn’t worried about the money that was put towards your recovery, it was nothing to someone with the title of Duke. He was more concerned with you being alive than momentary pleasures like wealth, but he used the excuse of you needing to pay him back to keep you around longer. He checks in with you every day, typically around dinner time, he’ll take a break to eat with you and talk about your day, building a relationship and establishing a connection, but sometimes he takes short breaks to check in on you. Wriothesley also speaks with the assigned group of nurses and staff that were there specifically for you every day, getting word from them on your progress and how things are looking. He enjoys seeing you slowly getting better day by day, his hope for the future strong as he dreams of the day you become officially his. He had no intention of ever letting you leave the Fortress of Meropide, at least not without him, arm wrapped protectively around you as he escorts you around, as a partner should.

You were transported to Teyvat after staying up all night playing Genshin before eventually passing out Infront of your computer.

When you open your eyes, you weren't in the comfort of your room but instead on gold altar.

People you recognized Infront of you as you sat up in shock. You hand hurting slightly as you looked down at it.

Blood.

In matter of fact, the blood was gold.

You watched as the wound healed itself on its own but your thoughts get interrupted as someone speaks up.

"My Grace, we are honored to have you here. The imposter has been dealt with, we pledge our devote loyalty to you."

You straight up passed out after this revelation.

After that whole fiasco, and you woke up to a bunch of crying acolytes.

Turns out, you were asleep for DAYS.

But you eventually grew accustomed to everything, honestly it wasn't as bad you thought it would be. Besides the weird obsessions and yandere like tendencies But there's one thing you missed dearly.

Home.

You were home sick and even the acolytes can see that. You didn't smile, you look off into the distance.

You miss the parties, music, going to swap meet and family members. Even the novellas your mother watched and eating her cooking.

Hell, you missed the internet.

It was just boring.

Then you got an idea, why not share them with your acolytes?! You get to explain your culture and maybe try to recreate dishes your mom made with ingredients here!

You immediately stood up from your throne excited. You immediately ran out of the temple, with the archons following you panicked.

"Your grace wait!" Zhongli yelled out chasing behind you. " You can't just leave abruptly like this! Please take me with you. "

You stood there, looking at a map you summoned looking at the places. "Sure! Let's go!" You grabbed around his waist and flew to places you needed to go.

He was practically beating his heart against his chest. The Creator was holding him! His ears were burning red in embarrassment.

You literally searched high and low, for ingredients alongside Zhongli. You either found substitutes or you quite literally had to create the ingredients. But once you had everything, you went straight to the kitchen.

The Archons were begging you, that they can someone else do it.

But you declined them, deciding to do it yourself.

You think the easiest recipe to do would be caldo de res. It's the one you seen your mother do countless times. And with your powers it should quicken the pace.... probably

Some of your acolytes were watching you, making sure your safe and do any task you asked.

Venti stood by the door way, along side zhongli and Xiao. Making sure your grace was fine.

At this point your at probably your third attempt at making this but you were really determined to get it right or at least

You took a spoonful and blew on it, taking a sip. And God it tasted like home, you place the utensil down and started to cry.

Venti was first to noticed, and thought you were upset. " Your grace don't cry! We can have some one else do it for you if your tired! "

You shook your head, wiping your tears smile. " I'm not sad, in fact I'm happy. Really happy. Would you like to try? It's a soup my mother always made."

Venti was so honored that the creator would even let him try, let alone a recipe the creators mother made!

Zhongli and Xiao whined, they wanted to try it too!

"Don't worry, you'll try it too!" You smiled, as you got a small spoonful.

Venti blushed, he's truly being rewarded, to be fed by the creator itself. He knows Xiao and Zhongli are practically seething in jealousy over this.

You were oblivious to it, feeding Venti small spoonfuls laughing. " Is it good?" You asked practically shaking in excitement.

He nodded happily, unknowingly teasing the other two in the room.

You made the jealousy even worse when you grabbed a handkerchief and clean up ventis face. Getting to be touched and so close to the creator smelling your perfume/cologne.

The other two pushed Venti aside, practically begging to be fed too.

You stood their dumbfounded but reluctantly agreed as well. Spoon feeding both of them, their faces light up.

They were so happy.

After that, you started cooking other dishes, your acolytes and followers were always so excited to try it.

They saw how much you emotionally improved so they was no discussion over it.

You also started telling them old folktales and customs from your culture. Scholars started to appear and request to write it down and study it. You even taught them Spanish!

Thought they call it, [y/n's] language. And etc.

Sometimes when doing a task, followers can hear you quietly sing songs in your language.

Your favorite thing, was reactions. The reactions your acolytes and followers had to your culture. They saw it as sacred, but you saw it as home.

You remembered talking to Zhongli because he remembers all of liyues stories and such.

"Zhongli, would you like to listen to a folktale?" You quietly asked, sitting on your throne. Him standing besides you.

" I'll be honored. " He says with a smile.

"There's different variations of this story depending of the region, but this is how I know it. Usually told to children to scare children into obedience. "

You cleared your voice, " long ago, a beautiful indigenous women fell in love with a man of higher social status. They lived happily together, having two children of their own. One day the man abandoned her, to either marry a more beautiful woman then her or a woman of his status. It depends either way, he leaves her. Her feeling threatened by this, consumed by rage and despair. She drown her children, meeting her own demised along side it. God curses her to wonder as a ghost searching for lost children so she can get into heaven."

Zhongli perks up at the story, " did you curse the woman yourself ?"

"ummm...yes?" You said unsurely.

" I see, a fitting punishment of her. " He says proudly.

" ahem, yes of course. Anyway she's called "la llorona" meaning The weeping woman..forever walking near bodies of water in search of her children so she may enter...umm.. heaven? "

Zhongli, tilts his head " what is heaven? " At this point your hands were sweating. " Ummm it's kinda like Celestia? But instead angels and stuff are there and it's like... Holy. You know? Anyway no more questions."

Random Head Canons and such

If you have curly hair, best believe the acolytes would be fascinated by it. Especially if they give you baths and pamper you.

You would teach Venti songs you know for example: hijo de la Luna.

Sometimes you sing them if you feel like it. Mostly to little kids.

The Adults are definitely not jealous.

The Archons fight each other over being your dancing partner. This is because you needed someone to show how to dance bachata. And ever since they just fight over that spot.

Same for being food taster, they like eating your food and being the first one to try it is such a big honour. You don't know why? Either way they like being spoon fed your cooking.

They all listen to your stories and take your advice very very seriously. It's annoying lol

You taught them your cultures customs, for example birthday customs. You're absolutely not allowed to have your face smashed into cake. They absolutely refuse to do that to you.

Also if you like spicy food, they probably be amazed at your spice tolerance. You'll probably mess with them by eating a whole chile Infront of them.

There are times where you do get very home sick and won't leave your room. When you do, they try their absolute best to comfort you.

Also you have given some of your followers Spanish nicknames for funsies.

Sometimes you and your acolytes would speak Spanish with you. They think it's like the biggest honor to understand your language and speak it with you. But you just think it's nice. Plus you get to have secret convos with people you don't want to know what your saving.

ooo im wondering what type of android itto fits into? he kinda gives me similar vibes as the zhongli one, as in at first he’s your loveable, sweet and funny companion! but underneath some different levels of code you may be able to bring out a more oni-like personality, or, he may even bring it out himself at meeting you

tw - unhealthy relationships, obsessive behavior, marking, and slight isolation.

he'd definitely be an inhumane-type companion droid for people who either don't like the quiet, brooding personality of most of the Adeptus bots, or just prefer their proportions a little more generous than what Xiao or Ganyu have to offer. he's sweet, and affectionate, and as eager for your attention as he is to prove that he deserves your attention - whether that means carrying every single bag for you whenever you take him out to run errands or moving your hips himself when you're in his lap and too exhausted and overstimulated to do anything but bury your face in his chest and moan while you find out just what a 'knotting function' is. he's considerate, too, prone to carrying you to bed and making a very, very earnest attempt at cooking for you - that is, before you get tired of waking up to burnt pans and screaming smoke alarms and ban him from the kitchen without supervision. he functions as a bodyguard, too, even if you can't say you've ever found him intimidating, personally. still, his height, paired with his horns and the fact that his designs took the time to make him look the part despite all droids being roughly equal in terms of mechanical strength - you certainly haven't had any problems with intruders or strange men with ill-intent since he arrived, at least.

the only complaint you'd have about him, if any, is that he's just a little too good at his job, sometimes. you know what companion droids are for, that you're supposed to feel special and appreciated and loved, but it's one thing to have him take a little extra time to kiss your forehead as he manhandles you onto your hand and knees and another entirely to feel your heart beating out of your chest as he clings to your arms and introduces himself not as your companion, or your assistance droid, but your boyfriend. it's your own fault, probably, if only for getting an android so famous for not acting like an android when there are dozens of different models known to be more subtle, but still, he can just be so personal, get so intimate while he's showering you with compliments or whispering all the dirty, graphic things he's going to do to you, next time he gets a chance.

you've asked him to tone it down before, not to hold your hand so tightly when you're together, but it never really sticks, and there seems to be something in his coding more focused on being close to you than making sure you're happy that he's so close. you absolutely love him, and there's nothing you'd ever change, but he can just be so clingy, sometimes, so determined to be constantly on your heels. that might explain the bruises on your thighs, the bite-marks littered over your neck and chest. that might be why he looks at you the way he does - with a manic kind of stare, constantly expectant, constantly waiting for his next opportunity to get you alone.

that might be why you're starting to wonder if it's really such a good thing to have Itto so close to you.

*pokes head out of the great expanse of information that is the internet* DID I HEAR YOU SAY KAEYA ZHONGLI BESTIES AGENDA do elaborate because I am. I am. in need.

AHAHAAHAHAHAHAH YES YOU DID HEAR CORRECTLY. Look They have so much inherent angst based on Kaeya's origins and Zhongli's orgins. And I'm definitely going to get into some fanon/headcanon territory here. But like- I headcanon that whatever part Zhongli played in destroying Khaenri'ah he feels horrible about it. Meeting Kaeya would be a grenade of emotions for him. Like on one hand: Hey! This guy is a living Khaenri'ahn, maybe i can do small things to pay him for what I've done Not that I could ever total repay it ON the other: OH SHOOT I MESSED UP SO BAD BY HIM I SHOULD JUST NEVER SPEAK TO HIM EVER AND IF HE WANTS ME TO PAY FOR MY CRIMES I WILL. Initially Zhongli would probably just be a good ole formal acquaintance. Being pretty normal about everything (he's good at compartmentalizing and burying pain) except in weird instances where he'd get really intensely invested in Helping Kaeya. Kaeya is like "Okay this dude is strange. Nice! But strange." Eventually the truth would come to light and that would be a mess, not exactly sure how it would go down? I usually play with the idea of Kaeya being pretty angry with Zhongli and softening when he realizes how much Zhongli regrets and how human he is. The start of their actual friendship would be climbing over the hurdle of Zhongli.... well being overly gracious essentially?

Kaeya would have to slap him being like "Dude you need to not bend to my every request for star's sake." Like, kaeya can understand given how much he feels like he messed up, but at this point he genuinely wants to be friends with Zhongli, not have Zhongli be his dutiful archon butler. It'd take a bit for Zhongli to shake the behavior because the guilt complex runs DEEP. Also Kaeya would have to open a lot. Zhongli is old as dirt (ha) So he can probably see through Kaeya waaaay more than he's comfortable with. Zhongli is thankfully not horribly heavy handed? But I can see him being somewhat petty or poking at Kaeya before he's ready.

Kaeya would have the bonus of Zhongli already knowing his Origins! But he would still have to contest with worrying about him flipping out over the spy thing (not to mention Zhongli was the Contracts lord.) Zhongli would also not be super cool with kaeya's more reckless and under-explained stunts. Its probably already somewhat nervewracking for him that most of his friends are mortal. Them making ill-advised decisions would not sit well with him. but with time I think they'd have a beautiful friendship! They're both protectors and have Older Family member vibes (grandpa and older brother) Zhongli would be invested in seeing Kaeya grow past his trauma and the horrible things that happened to him and his people. And Kaeya would be invested in seeing Zhongli live a happy unburdened life (he understands too well holding what feels like the weight of the world.)

And just in general I think the way they can play off of each other is really fun? Just personality wise. They're both really smart but also feel like they'd have a great time discussing stuff over tea, Really random or inane stuff. I imagine they're both kinda fed up with the Anime Plot they're born into xD

I feel like they're both little things people. LIke zhongli going on and on about the flowers being beautiful this morning and Kaeya would just be sitting there like "yeah :]" They realize how much that stuff matters.

Somebody save Zhongli if Hu Tao and Kaeya are in the same room tho. SFDLSDIHGDFIGLDHFGLASIDGHDFG Also they'd both be doing "Woe, therapy be upon ye" at each other SADLFIHSDGLIDFHGDFGHFG

Also both of them adore kids. ;;v;; The capacity they have for understanding each other's pain. Just being the "stop being strong, I know, you can't hide it from me." and "i'm sorry you have this burden, you should've never had it." and "i'm so afraid of what I am harming the people I love." THere could be so much solidarity and comfort and understanding. And conflict and frustration too! I can see them easily being very hypocritical with each other without intending too xD

So yeah! Just their whole deal can be so fascinating and fun, both of them would have so much baggage to work through with each other. And I can see every step of that journey being delightfully fun to dig into and play out in different ways!

A/n: hello everyone! I really wanted to write something for myself, and after a lot of thought I decided to go through with this one. With school coming up I wanted to write something to… almost calm my nerves? And if it helps anyone else that has a similar problem then great! But whether you relate to this or not, I hope you enjoy, and take care of yourself! <3

You have your own section at the tavern. No doubt about it.

Diluc noticed you’d become anxious when eating at the tavern, and dreaded eating there all together. Diluc took a… silent approach to letting you know that he knows.

Basically he invited you over to the tavern, and guided you to a seat on the second floor of the tavern. And it was the one that was the most hidden.

He won’t pry for answers on why you feel this way, he just wants you to be comfortable and happy.

Zhongli invites you to dinner a lot, and over time he noticed you seem… on edge whenever you eat, and then you started turning down his invitations?

Zhongli was confused, he thought you were comfortable around him? Was it something he did? He had to confront you about it.

When he does ask you about it, you just said “oh, I feel uncomfy eating around other people” then zhongli slightly understands

I think he’ll start reserving a table at a restaurant in advance, and makes sure it’s fairly hidden. Or he’ll just invite you over to his house to have a glass of osmanthus wine

I think zhongli would ask you why you feel so uncomfortable eating around others, and if you’re willing to talk he’ll listen intently, but otherwise he won’t press you to talk.

I think kazuha is a big picnic kinda guy. He asks you all the time if you wanna sit by the river and have lunch, or go stargazing and share some pie (or any other desert of your choosing). So I don’t think there’s many opportunities for him to notice that you’re uncomfortable eating around others.

When there are said moments though he’ll pic up on it. He’s very good at reading body language, and will get you out of an uncomfortable situation as fast as possible.

He’ll ponder what to say afterwards, but will eventually come to the conclusion that he should ask you about it. His own curiosity got the best of him, and I think right after he asks you about your behavior earlier he feels bad. Like it was… insensitive of him to ask you.

If you wanna talk about it, great! He’s your personal therapist for about 40 minutes. If you don’t wanna explain though? Ok, I mean he’s not gonna push you to be uncomfortable again, but the gears in his head will be turning a lot.

I don’t think childe is great at reading body language like kazuha is, but he is good at finding out things after they’ve already happened.

You’ll ask him if you can eat at one another’s home from now on, and he’ll kinda be pushy about why you’re asking this.

He’ll feel bad for being pushy after you tell him though. He’ll apologize, and be oddly quiet for a while, but mostly cause he’s thinking of a bunch of dishes to make for you!

❁ notes —> okay so i decided to make the parents a lot more “tough love, but mostly love” kinda parents because i can’t really handle “tough love, but it’s just an excuse” because of some home stuff, so sorry if that’s not what your going for!! I’ll also be doing two other requests today or even some more!!!🎐:;

Zhongli:

He’s a very old God, and went through centuries of meeting different types of people, plus he is very classy so he’ll have no problem.

But, of course, he is a little nervous. This IS your parents after all, and he is planning to marry you one day- so he must be on his best behavior.

He’ll space off more, causing him to run into polls, trip on air, etc.

He seems like the perfect guy. I mean, he is a literal God.

But there’s also that one set-back. He’s broke.

The parents want the absolute best for you, so that’s a big set back.

So the conversation quickly turned into an investigation.

They don’t want you to marry a thug do they?

But they're suspicious, but you rebuttal all their accusations saying how he makes you happy and you truly do love him.

They rekindle and welcome Zhongli to the family!

But you made a promise to make sure to have a good job and teach Zhongli basic economics.

“That was certainly tense, but do not fret. I’ll always be here for my beloved.”

Childe:

Uh oh.

To be honest, of the boys he’s one of the hardest to get approval from your parents.

With all the Fatui and Harbinger stuff… yeah no he’s basically a war criminal at this point.

But, this war criminal is a family man male wife , out-going, strong, and rich, so maybe there’s a chance!

When you first brought the news to him he was a lot more erratic. Asking for fights more, fidgeting, and overall acting like a child(e) who ate way too much candy.

When the day has come he tries his best to keep his composure, and he’s doing pretty well! He even brought gifts for your parents.

He has dealt with many other stressful times so he’ll be okay, he just has to make sure that he doesn’t mention he’s in with Fatui.

You parents actually liked him! He seemed perfect for you, but they don’t like how mysterious and vague he is about his work.

You tell them how he’s working for a government and he can’t expose too much, and maybe one day he will, but now they are worried for your safety marrying somebody who’s a “politician”.

But Childe explains how he’ll always protect his beloved and always be there in need.

“Don’t worry babe! I promise I’ll be the bestest boyfriend ever!”

Diluc:

He would have NO problem wooing your parents.

He’s rich, handsome, strong, fancy, loves you, and basically the perfect man aside from his family issues.

But just like any other man meeting strict parents, he’s nervous. But he doesn’t show it. But those little details in he’s mannerism, where he’s a little bit more clumsy shows it.

The day when they finally met, they were actually surprised by how formal he was.

He was clear and patient. I guess all the boring meetings paid off.

The only set-back is how stoic and emotionless he seemed, but it’s very little, plus as long as he loves you it’s okay!

“I’m glad that they actually like me, but what really matters is you, and hopefully I can be a good lover for you.”

Xiao:

Oh boy.

Easily the hardest to please.

He was rude, short, has no money, no education, and not formal in the slightest.

So for a month you and Xiao had to study mannerism, beg for a job in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, do practice interviews, and it was a lot for the most part…

The little man was absolutely nervous. He never indulged himself in mortal traditions, so he was PANICKING. If he didn’t get their approval would they even be together anymore? He must try his best.

On the night of the meeting, they were suspicious, but they softened up a bit. They may be strict but they understand when somebody’s having a hard time, so they were relatively patient.

Xiao was actually rather formal and never once did he refer to them as “mere mortals”, he was actually doing a pretty good job!

Your parents loved him, and there were no set-backs! Hooray! I guess all that worked paid off!!

“I’ll do anything to make sure your happy y/n.. and I’ll try my hardest at that..”

Thinking again about the more dense/socially inept yans learning how to yan better from other yans. Like reading How to Be a Good Captor and Tame Your Girl Darling for Dummies(tm) but they're just observing and taking some notes or sucking up their pride to ask for help.

Scaramouche who is frustrated bc?? Childe's little wife is so obedient and is all affectionate with him?? He can see her nuzzle her head into his chest and cling to him all the time! Despite how Childe can be, she still shows him affection and is docile and even loving and... that sounds like it would... be nice, y'know... What is he not doing right that would get you to do that?? Childe isn't quite as bad as him but he's still a sadistic bastard is he not?? He talks down to and degrades his little waif just as much as he does! If anything he's even more mocking in his tone!

But of course he would never swallow his pride enough to actually ask him what to do, so he just kinda... observes from a close distance. Sits closer to the pair than normal and kinda eyes them from the side.

And he watches Childe pat the poor thing's head. Murmurs good girl. His darling's little eyes light up and she seems to just melt at his touch. Is that it?? The words of affirmation?? Is that what he's missing? This has to be tested, but he quickly realizes it's... hard. Waits for an opportunity where his own darling does something right. Gets red in the face and has to look away while he mutters it, but gets it out nonetheless.

Darling goes wide eyed and her brain is just who are you and what have you done with my captor but then... her eyes actually water a bit, and for the first time probably since she's been in this hellscape, he thinks he actually catches the slightest of a smile on her face. She hates that it makes her feel good but she wants more. She's so used to meanness that the slightest of praise and kindness feels like the best thing since... Forever. And the next time he tries it, she does the same thing again. And again. And again. And soon she seems almost like she's... trying to be good, not out of fear, but out of some expectation, like she's waiting to get that praise. And she starts not flinching when he raises his hand up, instead she closes her eyes and leans her head forward for an expected pat. She starts scooting to sit closer on her own. Leans against his shoulder. Needless to say mission accomplished.

Xiao who has no knowledge of how to go about dealing with darling's behaviors -- his only thought process is to restrain her arms and legs, drag her away by the hair, grumble and growl and bury his dick in her because it just comes naturally when he's irritated. Occasionally he gets frustrated enough to backhand her but usually the anger is just directly converted into rough fucking. This, however, does not really aid to fix the behavioral issues.

Zhongli's darling is so well-behaved, how does he do it?? He feels too embarrassed to ask so he kinda tries to pull the same thing as Scaramouche and just observe them a bit but Zhongli is too perceptive to not notice it, so he offers to help the poor thing. And... quickly discovers that the boy has no idea what he's doing. He has to explain that, well, you can't just... fuck her all roughly, you have to actually punish her for the action, you know? Strategically, ways that are psychologically effective, punishments that she'll remember :) It's actually not good for darling because the thing Zhongli kinda forgets is how much shorter Xiao's temper is than his own... see, the punishments he's describing are things he would ony use when darling has pulled the last straw or pushed too far, but he does not realize that Xiao is gonna be using these new suggestions if darling so much as backtalks him one (1) time. RIP darling

Razor who seeks help from Bennett with darling because he thinks that maybe if he understands some human girl things better, darling will like him more? And Bennett would know about stuff like that right?? Bennett is... not going to be vocal about his disapproval of him keeping her out there, so he thinks sure, he can help. Teaches him the concept of gifts and cultural gender conceptions so my wolfboi is picking every flower in a 5 mile radius to bring back to darling!! He's excite! Bennett told him girls like flowers so he got you 500 of them! :) Also clothes, apparently! So he robbed a silk and textile goods merchant off the side of the road and took his cart ox for food and all the stuff in it for you, two birds with one stone, now you get fed and clothes :) rip merchant

Genshin impact characters as gamers

Characters: Abedo, Kaeya, Diluc, Childe, Zhongli, Jean, Hu Tao, and Lisa

content warnings: Childe being kinda an asshole lol.

authors note: I might do more in the future! These are just my headcanons so if you don't agree that cool! Feel free to let me know what you think they're like as gamers!!

Albedo:

what they look for in a game: Albedo seems like the type to enjoy games with vast worlds that involve lots of exploration and puzzles. I also feel like he like more quiet gameplay- if that makes any sense. Very much "Show, don't tell." Likes walking simulators!

things that turn them off from a game: He dislikes when games over-explain themselves/their plots. He likes to be able to unfold the mysteries and plot threads himself instead of being spoonfed. He also dislikes voice chat bc people are mean. If there is a VC he mutes basically everyone even if it makes teamwork difficult.

how much time do they devote to videogames: Albedo really only plays videogames on days off or when alchemy research has hit a lull.

a game or games that I think they'd like: outer wilds, shadow of the colossus, and journey.

Kaeya:

what they look for in a game: Story-rich games with unique art that explore heavy topics or philosophical themes! but also really likes multiplayer games where he can troll lol.

things that turn them off from a game: If he dislikes the art he finds it hard to play or pay attention to. This doesn't mean he demands picture-perfect graphics! He's mostly into unrealistic and eye-catching graphics/art he likes games with style and flair!

how much time do they devote to video games: Kaeya likes to play after a long day of work to unwind and relax!

a game or games that I think they'd like: Disco Elysium and the persona series!

Diluc:

what they look for in a game: Diluc is a very busy man who likes to be in control of his life and the things that affect it. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that he likes simple and sweet games with low stakes where he is mostly in control if not basically god haha.

things that turn them off from a game: Games that involve him to be emotionally invested or have lots of stressors are not his thing. Games are played to relieve his stress, not make him cry over character death.

how much time do they devote to video games: He likes to play a little bit on his break when he gets the chance or a little bit after work. Doesn't like to play for too long each day or he feels unproductive!

a game or games that I think they'd like: the sims, planet zoo, my time at Portia, stardew valley, and ANIMAL CROSSING!! (I dont care if this is OOC okay. Diluc plays animal crossing on his lunch break. His favorite villagers are the bird ones. His favorite fruits are apples and cherries, and he loves terraforming his island. He finds it therapeutic.)

Childe:

what they look for in a game: loves gacha games, he's a total whale, and loves to flex his pulls. Also loves games with intense competitive multiplayer and couch co-op games. Absolutely a sore winner who everyone hates playing jack box with.

things that turn them off from a game: Dislikes the story mode of most games bc they usually fail to keep this attention. He'd much rather be making yo mama jokes and shit-talking n00bs over the mic like the little asshole gremlin he is. The only exception so far is "The Last of Us," because of one time when the internet was shitting out on him during matchmaking. He decided to play the story while his connection got itself together and ended up liking it.

how much time do they devote to video games: Stays up late playing them at night a LOT. They're usually the reason he's tired the next day.

a game or games that I think they'd like: mario kart, smash bros, arknights, mortal kombat, apex, and dead by daylight.

Zhongli:

what they look for in a game: Zhongli likes simple games with cute graphics and easy controls. Mostly a mobile gamer as he finds most console game controls confusing. Loves virtual remakes of classic games that he used to play with other people physically.

things that turn them off from a game: Really dislikes first-person shooters. He finds them loud and disorienting. Poor old man.

how much time do they devote to videogames: Barely ever plays, might play while having a cup of tea or to pass the time while waiting for something!

a game or games that I think they'd like: mahjong, solitaire, candy crush, and those lumosity games for training your brain.

Jean:

what they look for in a game: At first when jean thought of video games the only thing that came to mind was "a waste of time." As the acting grand master of the knights of Favonius she rarely has time to socialize or even date. That's when she decided to maybe just maybe give dating sims a shot. She's a bit insecure about it, but they give her butterflies without the strain of a real relationship.

things that turn them off from a game: Really dislikes games that glorify villainy or have you play as the bad guy. She also really hates horror games. Fun fact, she played doki doki literature club but missed the warning somehow and WOW she got really upset-

how much time do they devote to video games: As mentioned previously Jean is a busy gal. So she really only gets to play games on her rare days off or maybe just a little before bed.

a game or games that I think they'd like: I don't know a lot of sweet and fluffy dating sims but I feel like the sweet and fluffy ones are her favorite! I've really only played one dating sim before and that was monster prom so I'm gonna use that for the example lol. I know there's a lot of mischief in that game but she always chooses the more moral upstanding choice even if it cost her a date haha.

Hu Tao:

what they look for in a game: Hu Tao is partial to games with gothic aesthetics and horror elements! Specifically really loves psychological horror and unique creature design. Enjoys difficult gameplay and feels a sense of accomplishment when she succeeds!

things that turn them off from a game: When a game is too easy to play she gets bored rather quickly.

how much time do they devote to video games: Frequently plays really late at night while listening to a paranormal podcast or other spooky content.

a game or games that I think they'd like: Dark souls, Darkwood, The cat lady, rule of rose.

Lisa:

what they look for in a game: Like Childe, Lisa likes competitive gameplay. But she's more into fantasy MMO RPGs! She just really loves fantasy things it doesn't have to be multiplayer. Also really likes games with lots of lore and digs strategy turn-based combat! Other game types she likes are visual novels or anything with a good story-driven narrative. Loves being able to discuss fan theories online in forums.

things that turn them off from a game: Mediocre writing, poor/inconsistent world-building, or a lack of lore. She needs a story to sink her teeth into or she just won't play.

how much time do they devote to video games: Probably plays a lot. Really only pausing to correct people's behavior in the library!

a game or games that I think they'd like: World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, League of legends, Darkest dungeon, and slay the spire.

sure thing! i’ll answer this one and get back to working on other requests orz

diluc:

despite being known as a broody wine master and one of the few prominent characters that holds a negative opinions of the knights, he’s actually more sociable than the mondstadt storyline might imply.

diluc has multiple voicelines (if you get him through wishes) where he shows concern for traveler/mc, some being “all that matters is that you were safe last night,” “i’ll make sure you leave safely,” and “how about you take a rest while i go back [to the guild]?”

so, yeah. he’s not as distant or aloof as his initial appearance played him off to be imo. while he’s still on the professional side, he does readily show concern for traveler/mc, and presumably other people who work alongside him.

he knows he’s hot stuff – he evens says as much when clearing out hordes of hilichurls/abyss mages in the mondstadt storyline (”ah, there are you are. dealing with you will be the easy part.”) doesn’t openly flaunt his strength to other people, but, needless to say, is comfortable on the battlefield.

also, remember when traveler and venti try to steal the lyre? he says “for the record, i like your guts for trying to steal the holy lyre der himmel. even if you are fools . . . but we don’t often get to see people like you.”

aka he’s also a smart ass.

he knew that venti and traveler had something to do with the lyre, and dismissed the knights that came in either because a) he didn’t think they would handle the situation appropriately or b) wanted answers first.

while we (the player) knew that traveler and venti didn’t actually steal the lyre, diluc doesn’t seem threatened by either of them. he doesn’t rush to apprehend them, and from the quotes above, actually thinks the situation is entertaining.

the line “i like your guts for trying to steal the holy lyre” also reminds me of one of his quotes when he talks about jean (”her unparalleled sense of responsibility is the sole reason why she still hasn't found her true calling”).

while it’s not a call-back or anything obvious, diluc implies that rules/authority/strict codes have the potential to hold others back; therefore, i think he really meant it when he commended the traveler’s grit for trying to steal the lyre, because from the tone of how he talks about jean, he’s had his fair share of unorthodox behavior that’s gotten him to somewhere he actually wants to be.

overall a capable man and one who values effectiveness of method. while not one to uphold formalities (in a few of his voice lines, he says he’s “not interested in idle chit chat), he respects partnership and lets his dryness slip often. i can go further into his voicelines in a separate post if you want anon.

zhongli:

this is going to be a bit different than diluc’s analysis since, at the time i’m writing this, zhongli doesn’t have profile voicelines yet.

however i will be using voicelines from the liyue storyline plus the 1.1 update “a new star approaches,” so spoiler warning for 1.1 if you haven’t done the quests yet!

okay so

zhongli knows liyuen culture like the back of his hand because, well, he’s the god who created liyue to begin with.

when the traveler confronts zhongli, childe, and signora in the northland bank, zhongli explains his ploy calmly, which seems strange, since he had essentially traded his symbol of godhood for a ““vacation”” (i use this term sarcastically and will explain more below).

when the traveler first comes into a liyue, many of the citizens make a point to say that, in contrast to mondstadt, their nation isn’t “godless” and show disdain towards mondstadt’s ways.

they believe in rex lapis. yet it’s made clear throughout the storyline that, in actuality, there are large branches of people (see the liyue qixing) want to advance liyue further, often without the aid/overseeing of their deities. quote zhongli at the northland bank: liyue is about to begin its “next age.”

meaning that, even though he said he was tired, that he had been guarding and overseeing the nation for thousands of years, he was able to tell that liyue was moving past its need for him, essentially that he wasn’t needed in the same way as he was in the past.

while many players kinda sorta really did not like zhongli after he admitted to staging the fight against osial (the sea monster), ultimately endangering liyue, he not only did it as a “test” to see if the liyuen people really were as advanced as he believed them to be, but also so that the adepti could become closer to liyue’s citizens.

not saying that it wasn’t somewhat messed up, but his motivation behind such a scene was to make sure that, if he resigned as a god, then humans could take care of themselves from now on and he wouldn’t be putting them in more danger if he left.

the adept, although hesitant and somewhat troubled by being more involved with humans, show a change of heart following the conclusion of the fight against osial. so zhongli’s scheme makes the adepti see that humans are more capable than they give them credit for, revives their respect for one another, and leaves knowing that liyue is in capable hands.

as for trading the gnosis: it’s stated multiple times that zhongli doesn’t make unfair contracts. obviously, part of the benefit on his end is allowing liyue to grow into a new age, but that can’t be the only motivator for him to give it away.

tsaritsa wants to “burn away the old world,” and the story hasn’t been clear as to why yet. but in making the contract, zhongli should be aware of at least part of her ultimate intentions. my theory is that, in the end, the gnoses will actually prove useless to the tsaritsa’s plan (as in, they actually don’t help her achieve her goal despite their symbolism), or we’re going to receive the power equivalent to a gnosis in the future.

tldr: zhongli’s plan is layered. while we don’t have much more information at the moment, as can consider his character to be very thorough, resourceful, and self-aware.

again, i can write out more once he’s released. these are just my thoughts, so take and pick what you want. ^^
