Explanation: Not bad for a yukata ensemble. The pattern is super bold and interesting, while the colors complement his swords. Only issue is the obi; men’s yukata always have a proper men’s obi musubi worn to the back. That dark red knot in the front just doesn’t cut it for me.

🖌🦊There is definitely some competition between the two, especially when they think {Name} has been paying more attention to one of them. Their constant rivalry results in being over zealous in smothering {Name} in affection and doing stupid things to try earn her attention.

🖌🦊Knowing this, she does try to pay them equal attention and cheer them up, while comforting them from the notion of her loving one more than the other. Even Kin'emon and Kanjuro realized they could be a bit childish in this regard, {Name} was someone who had endless love for the two of them.

🖌🦊Kin'emon likes giving {Name} an embrace whenever he can, feeling it revitalizes him and cheers him up. Especially after a fight, Kin'emon likes to have his head in her lap, with her fingers running through his hair while he rests and recuperates.

🖌🦊Kanjuro likes spontaneous affection, he is always passionate, no moment should ever lack romance nor the dash of theatrics. Kanjuro loves kisses, and when she sits in his lap, an arm around her waist while he holds her close.

🖌🦊Needless the say the two of them can be complete idiots sometimes, though {Name} enjoys it. She loves that on their off time, when they can just be themselves they are a bunch of chaotic gremlins when together and extremely chilled when on their own.

🖌🦊 {Name} can always find comfort and advice from Kin'emon, he seems to know the exact words she needs to hear when she needs them. He is good at being attentive and observant to how {Name} is feeling.

Wishful Thinking

The official translation of One Piece Chapter 978 has Kin’emon saying:

“MY JUTSU”

and I am reminded of that iconic line of Tobirama’s from the Naruto Shippuden anime. 

Knowing that Kin’emon has the same voice actor/seiyuu as Senju Tobirama gives me that added anticipation to watch the current One Piece arc. 

So I look forward to Kin’emon saying this line when this chapter gets adapted to the One Piece anime. 

What, at the pace the anime is going, it is only going take at least 2-3 years, no biggie.  (I die inside)

Wild, wishful prediction: Studio Pierrot is respectfully waiting for Horiuchi Ken’yuu to complete his Kin’emon role in One Piece with Toei Animation, before bringing him back as Senju Tobirama in possible Naruto/Boruto prequel/sequel anime arcs. 

Hmm... or is it KISHI the one respectfully waiting for ODA to return him?

Horiuchi Ken’yuu as Kin’emon made his anime debut on January 13, 2013 in episode 580 (whoa, more than 400 episodes ago). 

For comparison, Horiuchi-san started his reprisal of Senju Tobirama in Naruto Shippuden Episode 366 “The All Knowing”, airdate on June 19th, 2014; the character’s final lines were in Episode 475 “The Valley of the End”, airdate on September 8th, 2016. He continued to do small voice-over work for Tendo Pain and Yahiko as well for video games after that. 

Meanwhile, Kin’emon’s role continues to present day, most recently in Episode 922 “A Tale of Chivalry! Zoro and Tonoyasu's Little Trip!”, aired on 16 Feb 2020. 

Kin’emon has had an important role for a long while. 

Add a few more years on top of this chapter’s anime adaptation, once Wano Country Arc concludes, Horiuchi-san may finally take a break from his Kin’emon role to free up his schedule, and will need to move on to other projects, right? 

What better than coming back to the Naruto/Boruto series...? 😇

The question is: will the break from Kin’emon be for just a while, between One Piece arcs; or will it be indefinitely, via character death? (Nuuuuu). The end fate of Kin’emon’s role in One Piece is yet to be seen. 

For Senju Tobirama to return to Boruto manga/anime somehow... I’m keeping my hopes up. Ridiculous as it may be.
