<Part 29<

"I need you to wake-up, My love." Steve whispered, looking down at where you rested your head against his chest, smiling lovingly at you.

The journey to Brook was long, tiring and uncomfortable. Even with a stop off for lunch and to stretch your legs, you still found yourself being lulled to sleep after a few hours as you cuddled up against Steve's warmth. You mumbled something incoherent as you snuggled closer to Steve making him chuckle and kissed the top of your head.

"I guess, you don't want my surprise then." He whispered.

You raised your head with a hum, "What surprise?" You asked groggily.

Steve smiled to himself, "Knew that would work." He sat up, untangling himself from you. "C'mon sleepy head. You can go back to sleep soon."

Your brow furrowed as you watched him open the carriage door and get out. "Are we back already?" You asked.

Steve shook his head. "Not quite." He held his hand out and helped you out of the carriage. "This is your surprise." He smiled.

You stood in silence as you looked at the cute (not so) little cottage in front of you that was tucked away behind a wall of trees and rose bushes. It was lit up with an orange glow and smoke pouring out of the chimney, looking warm and cosy.

Steve smiled to himself as he gave you a gentle nudge, encouraging you forward. "I thought this would be a good place for the two of us to hide away for a week or so. Enjoy married life without any worries. Just us." He whispered.

You stepped into the cottage with a grin, "Where are we?"

"Not far from the castle. My hunting cabin isn't far from here."

"It's beautiful... Who does it belong to?" You looked around the place, taking it all in.

Steve smiled as he stepped closer to you, placing his hands on your hips. "You."

You spun around to face Steve with a gasp, "Me?"

Steve nodded. "My father wanted mother to have a quiet place to retreat to if the castle got too much whilst she was carrying me, so he had this place built. Once I was born, it became a place the three of us would use to hide away from the castle..."

Your brow furrowed, "It's not mine then if your father had it built for your mother."

Steve sighed softly, "Sweetheart, it was my mother who gifted it to you... To us. She knows how difficult it can be for a young Princess... She wanted you to have a place that you feel safe in, like she did." He smiled lovingly st ypu as he took yoyr hands in his. "Wha'cha say, happy to spend some time alone with me here, wife?"

You bit you bottom lip and nodded with a giggle, "I certainly am, husband." You wrapped your arms around Steve's neck and kissed him.

The sound of birds tweeting and the sun leaking through the drapes slowly aroused you from your sleep just enough for you to sense something was happening around you that could only be described as chaos. You could hear voices, shouting and cursing over the top of one another, heavy footsteps stomping back and forth. You let out a tired groan and rolled over in the large empty bed, frowning as you blindly searched for Steve. You opened your eyes and looked around the room, empty. You sat up and rubbed the sleep from your eyes before climbing out of bed and making your way out of the room, in search of your husband.

The cottage wasn't too big that you'd end up lost like you did on your very first visit to the castle, but there were still plenty of rooms to explore.

You fell in love with the cottage the moment your eyes landed on it. It was much bigger than you first thought, but it still managed to have a cosy feel to it.

The room you and Steve were occupying was larger than the others that filled the cottage. It had a four poster bed at the farthest side of the room, a dressing table and chair against the wall opposite the door, a fireplace opposite the bed, as well as having a small closet attached. There was a smaller room opposite that had been used as Steve's when he was much younger and had been turned back into a nursery for when the time arrived for yours and Steve's children to use. A small water closet sat at the end of the hallway on the left that held a large bathtub (big enough for two) and next door to your room was what had been a study that Steve's father used before Steve had it changed into a miniature library for the two of you to use. That, too, had a fireplace that the two of you could sit in front of. At the other end of the hallway was a door that led into the front of the cottage. The door opened up into the sitting room, a large space that had a couple of armchairs in front of another fireplace as well as a dining table by the window that looked out onto the small garden that was filled with rose bushes and trees. To the right of the sitting room was a joining kitchen, and that was where you found your husband and the chaos.

You watched as Steve, Sam and Bucky coughed, trying to wave smoke away from them as they each yelled over one another.

"What on earth is going on?" You asked with a cough, quickly covering your mouth.

The three of them turned towards you like startled deer, panic in their eyes.

When no one answered, you huffed and folded your arms across your chest. "Well?"

"His fault!" Sam and Bucky said in unison as they pointed at Steve.

Steve glared at them, "Is not."

You rolled your eyes as the three of them began to talk over each other once more. "Enough!" You huffed and made your way over to the large wooden door at the front of the cottage that lead out into the garden, "You're like children... Worse than Morgana." You mumbled.

"What are you doing, My love?" Steve asked as he watched you open the door.

"Letting the smoke out so we don't choke to death." You turned back to the three of them. "Perhaps one of you could open the windows?"

Sam and Bucky quickly and began moving around the cottage. Steve stayed in the same spot with his head lowered, chewing on his bottom lip looking a lot like a child that's about to be scolded.

You smiled to yourself as you walked towards him, reminding yourself to tease him later on about it. "What happened?"

Steve opened his mouth to speak but before he could, Bucky and Sam bet him to it.

"His Majesty, was attempting to cook."

"And like it usually does, it ended in disaster." Bucky shook his head with a huff, "I told him to stay out of the kitchen."

Sam nodded, "But His Majesty knows best." Sam rolled his eyes.

You let out a small giggle as Steve continued to glare at them.

It was true, Steve wasn't the best cook. Any time he attempted cooking, something disastrous happened.

"Boys," You stood in front of Steve and placed a comforting hand on his chest as you faced Bucky and Sam. "Could the two of you fetch some more firewood, please?" You smiled sweetly.

The pair nodded before bowing to you and making their exit.

You cleared your throat before you turned back to face Steve. "So... What happened?"

Steve sighed as he gently placed his hands on your waist and tugged you against his chest. "I wanted to bring you breakfast." He frowned. "I don't know what happened. One minute I had everything set, and the next the pan of water boiled over and-"

"Put the fire out?" You asked already knowing the answer. Steve nodded with a pout. You bit your bottom lip to stop yourself cooing at him. "I get that smart-ass." He chuckled, coming up beside you. "When?"

"What did you think I did when I wasn't attending sowing circles?"

Steve smiled, "Who taught you?"

"The Castle's cooks." You smiled with a shrug. "Even Dum-Dum taught me how to cook his famous battle stew last year."

Steve's brows raised in surprise just as Sam and Bucky returned. "Dum-Dum gave you his secret recipe?"

"Her Highness cooks it even better than Dum-Dum." Bucky winked at you with a grin making you blush.

Sam nodded and rubbed his belly. "Oh man, what I'd give to have some of that stew."

Steve frowned as he looked at them then at you. "Why have I never tried it?" He pouted.

You turned away from him to hide your smirk before clearing your throat, "You're always busy with meetings when I cook it." You let out a soft sigh.

Steve frowned to himself as he thought back to your visits. He usually did have a few meetings that lasted hours and hours, plenty of time for you to cook Dum-Dum's stew and share it with his men. He can't remember how many times he's found you training with them, even in rain, as you tried to pass the time.

"No matter," You smiled at him. "I'll make it tonight for us all."

Steve chuckled, "Let's focus on breakfast first, love." He kissed your cheek. "Now, tell me what to do."

"Nothing!" Bucky and Sam groaned in unison making Steve glare at them.

You began to laugh, quickly disguising it as a cough and looking away as Steve turned his glare to you. He smiled to himself as he watched you busy yourself before he sent Sam and Bucky another glare.

"Piss off," He mouthed to them, waving his hand around.

Bucky smirked, shaking his head at him as he walked up to you, "What can I do to help, Your Highness?" He asked, sending Steve a wink once you began telling him what to do.

You giggled as Steve kissed your bare shoulder, working his way up your neck until you were a giggling mess. "Stop it," You tapped his bicep, pushing slightly to get him off you.

Steve pulled back with a grin. "You're just too sweet," He teased before pressing his lips to yours. He rolled over on to his back, wrapping his arm around your shoulders and pulled you against his chest. Steve panted softly against the top of your head before kissing it. "You know... They won't be here all the time... I promise."

You smiled to yourself, snuggling further into his chest, wrapping your arms tighter around his body as you hiked your leg up over his. "Stop... I had fun today. Besides, I don't mind Bucky and Sam being around."

Steve sighed, "I know you don't... But I wanted it just to be us. I wanted us to have some time together... To get to know each other."

You carefully pushed yourself up so you were looking down at Steve, not care in the world as you let your naked body show as you looked down at your husband lovingly. "We already know each other, darling."

Steve shook his head, "But we're married now..." He smiled as he reached up brushed your hair back as he cupped your cheek. "Things are different."

"How? We're still the same people, Steve."

Steve smiled, "But now I can do this," He gently pulled your face down to his and pressed his lips against yours, easily slipping his tongue past your lips and deepening kiss momentarily before pulling back, "As much as I want." He grinned at you. "As well as other things," He teased.

You lowered your head, trying to hide your face as you blushed. "When you put it like that." You smiled to yourself. "Maybe Bucky and Sam shouldn't be around so much."

Or we'll have trouble." He warned.

Steve nodded as he came to your side. He'd stayed back to give you time to say your goodbyes to your family. "Don't worry, Tony," Steve smiled lovingly at you as he slipped his arm around your waist and pulled you into his side. "My mother's already given me a tongue lashing on your behalf." He rolled his eyes making you giggle.

"I always said she was a smart woman." Tony smiled. "Now, go. You've got a new life to start together." Tony picked Morgana up and placed her on his hip.

You nodded taking a deep breath. "Okay..." You turned to Steve. "I'm ready." You smiled at him.

Steve nodded and took. "Then let's go, My love." He said and lead you over to the royal carriage.

With one last look at your family and the castle that had been your home, you bid them goodbye and climbed into the royal carriage with Steve. As the door was closed behind him, Steve turned to you and took your hand in his. "I know you're sad, My love. But this is a good thing." He pressed a kiss to your knuckles and reached across to wipe your fallen tears.

You nodded with a sniffle, "I know it is..." You smiled at him. "And I am so unbelievably excited for our future together... But it's the thought of not having Morgana running around causing chaos." You smiled, "Or hearing Tony's terrible jokes... And not having Peter," You wiped away more of your tears. "Not having Peter there to tell me I'm being stupid every day is... It's scary." You laughed to yourself.

He nodded as he reached out to cup your cheek. "I know it is, My love. But try to remember that, although you weren't born there, Brook is your home and you have a new family... And, with Sam running around I'm sure there's going to be equally as much chaos and Bucky will be more than happy to call you stupid... He tells me all the time." Be teased making you laugh. "That's better." Steve winked at you before pressing a kiss to your knuckles. "So, my beautiful wife and soon-to-be Queen of Brook, ready to go home?" Steve asked playfully, giving you a wink as you grinned at him.

Rubbing your trembling shoulders, you breathed out blue-grey clouds of steam, stepping on the cold ground with your bare feet. The forest around you was covered in snow, it's shining strangely warm and inviting as if it were a soft fur cloak laying on the ground, wrapped around wild bushes and trees. For a second you thought how nice it would be if you just lay there, too, resting from many hours of walk, but you tried keeping the image in your head away, knowing well you would just freeze to death.

Your old sandals were too worn out and lost in a chase; the ends of your long white nightgown were torn, and the fabric itself was so thin it couldn't protect you from the wind and snow, soaked in the blue blood streaming down your mouth. Your feet bled too, and sometimes you were leaving small blue marks on the snow where you stepped. Sighing tiredly and sometimes crying out when your uncombed hair got caught in a bush or tangled up in the branches of a tree, you kept walking further in the forest, hoping the ones chasing you wouldn't find you here.

When they found you in a workhouse, just a young woman who scrubbed the floors and washed the dishes, they proclaimed your fate was to give birth to a devil, and before you knew it you had been hunted down for a crime you didn't commit. Give birth to a devil? How could anyone believe that? You were nothing but a hard-working woman who went to the temple every week as everyone else in town, giving your prayers to gods like you should. You had never prayed to devil, you didn't even know if it existed!

But it didn’t matter now as you kept walking in the charmed forest, and the snowflakes falling from the pearly white sky shone like gold. It didn't even feel cold anymore, and you thought how nice it would be to feel warmth one last time before you died here. Oh, a thick fur cape wrapped around your shoulders was more than anything you could wish for...

Finally lowering yourself to the ground, you sat on the snow, your nightgown laying on it like a see-through wedding veil, and stared at the snowflakes falling from the sky. Everything around was shining gold like in king's treasury, and you smiled to yourself, imagining you were in some fairytale where the prince was coming for you, his beloved, to take you away to his kingdom far far away, wrapping you in his cape and carrying you on his white stallion like a princess. When you heard the sound of hooves, you thought you had either fallen asleep or finally died from cold.

There was a man dressed in a black cape, crow feathers on his shoulders, sitting on a black horse with golden harness. He must have been a product of your imagination because the forest was too dense for a horse, but you smiled weakly to a man as if he were real. Was he a prince you were waiting for? Was he the Death coming to take you? Both were fine.

He watched you kindly as if he pitied you, a poor soul chased so far into the wild lands dressed in just a nightgown - it had been late night when they came to your house, trying to catch you. Although your mouth stopped bleeding, he could still see chapped blood on your skin and a long blue trail on a white cloth.

"Are you lost, child?" The stranger asked you softly, his horse stopping right near the place you sat, the man watching you from above.

You shook your head tiredly, smiling to him, "No. I am where I want to be."

What else could you tell him? Freezing to death in the woods was far from a happy ending you dreamt of, but it was still better than being burnt at the stake, watching people enjoying you suffer.

Something changed in the stranger's face when he got off his horse, coming closer to you, twigs snapping underfoot. Strangely, you didn’t feel scared despite the man looming over you, his face as pale and grey as a tombstone. When he reached out to touch you, you let him, feeling his soft leather gloves as he stroked your cheek, his face millimeters from yours. He had a concerned expression when he rubbed off the chapped blood from your chin as if he cared.

"Poor little girl." The stranger whispered in a soothing tone, taking his cape off and wrapping you in it like a child, then putting his gloves on your terribly cold hands that could hardly move. "I will take you home."

"But I have no home." You giggled, realizing the black coat that man wore had a fur lining you had just dreamt about.

"Everybody has a home, just not where they expect it to be."

Carefully lifting you in the air, the man carried you back to his horse that had been waiting patiently for him as if it knew what you two were talking about, staying still. Since you had never ridden a horse before it was a bit of a struggle, but soon you sat on top of it with the stranger sitting behind you and holding you softly, continuing his way somewhere further in the woods. You finally felt warm, the clip-clop of hooves replacing a lullaby and lulling you to sleep while the handsome stranger left a kiss on your forehead. Funny.

"Are you a prince?" You asked him, raising your head to look into his pale face, his expression calm and collected when he stared back at you, a smile forming on his face.

Then for a couple of seconds he seemed to be deep in thoughts. "Yes, in some way."

You didn't expect an answer like that, wondering what he meant. Some way? Did it mean he was related to a royal family to some extent? Was he even human? Maybe he wasn't, you thought, watching his icy cold eyes.

"Are you Death, then?" Ensconced in warm black furs, you felt you were slowly falling asleep again, barely holding on and watching how shining snowflakes disappeared when they touched man's eerie black attire, the gold shining gone as if it were absorbed by his body.

"Sometimes."

Sighing, you closed your eyes, snuggling against the man. He wasn't even real, you thought, imagining your dead body still sitting in the snow with your back against a hawthorn tree. Maybe the stranger was carrying your soul to the underworld where you would finally find peace. This should be a home he was talking about, right?

If it looked as pretty as the shining forest, maybe it was for the best.

"When we'll arrive there, can you leave me your cape?" You asked the man timidly, hoping you could still keep it if the place where he was taking you was as cold as the winter forest. It was bold of you to assume the man would give you something so expensive and valuable, but if he truly were a product of your imagination you had nothing to lose.

He let out a laugh, his long dark hair tickling your forehead while feathers on a cape poked your cheek. "Of course. I can give you a new cape every day, if you wish."

Giggling again, you smiled, excited like a little girl. "Does it mean you will stay in that place with me?"

For a moment he kept quiet, and you grew worried he would leave you there all alone: despite spending so little time with the stranger, being together with him felt much better than staying all alone.

"Of course, dear." He said gently. "I am taking you to my home. From now on, I will share it with you."

"Oh, if it came to this, can you tell me who exactly you are?"

"I am the devil."

For a second you thought you heard him wrong, raising your head and watching him, looking for something that would prove he was joking, but the man looked as serious as before. The devil? Him? Did the devil truly exist or was he just a product of your imagination? Was he taking you into the underworld where you would suffer for as long as he wanted you to?

Now the only thing you wanted was to slip from his horse and run till your feet bled blue again, but he kept you close, his arm on your chest heavy as a solid piece of stone. Knowing there was no escape now, you started crying, and the black cape he gave you was catching your tears without becoming damp just like his attire kept absorbing glowing snowflakes.

"Ten lifetimes I spent on that clearing in the woods for you, but now I'm done waiting." The Union: Chapter Two - Sebastian Stan X Chris Evans X Reader

Summary: This fictional story takes place between the three kingdoms that hold great power in the untouchable lands located in Europe. Despite the modern developments in the other countries, these three kingdoms, Callisto, Europa and Io, exist hidden from the rest of the world and embrace the cultural customs shared for centuries from the early human civilizations.

You are the daughter of the Europa Kingdom led by your father, King Jovian. This year you reached the fruitful age of 21, meaning that it’s finally time to fulfill your duty as the princess of Kingdom Europa. The arranged marriage between Kingdom Europa and Kingdom Callisto has been something that your father planned for a long time to finally bring peace between the three kingdoms. Whether you like it or not, you are the key piece to it all. King Stan of Callisto is who you will be sharing the honor of the arranged marriage. He is known by all as a man of savage fighting nature and very few words. “Damn it,” he muttered. “You have no idea how long I waited for you.”

You pulled apart from his forehead in confusion. He continued to hold your hands against his lips. But as you looked up, he looked down at you meeting in the middle.

“You waited for me?” You confronted him and he made a shy smile back.

“I did.”

You waited for more.

“I waited three years for this moment. We were supposed to get married when you turned 18, but your father begged me to have you stay with him longer,” he admitted. “I don’t blame him, you are a beautiful sight to treasure.”

Butterflies fluttered in your stomach as you felt the heat from your cheeks radiate around your body from the unexpected compliment. The sight of his body didn’t help with any of the feelings you were feeling right now. You wanted to kiss him again.

“I didn’t know…” You trailed off and he gently let your hand go.

“You really don’t leave that Castle of yours. I couldn’t even catch glimpses of my bride before the wedding.”

“I heard you were busy… I had no reason to be out if it wasn’t Europa business.”

“Is it bad if I admitted that I’m strangely turned on by that comment?”

You chuckled and he genuinely smiled at you. It was strange to see a hard exterior like his smile with so much heart. If they didn’t meet under these circumstances, what would it have been like? Would a guy like him even given you a chance?

“Yes, my king. That is quite strange,” you replied and he nodded.

“You can call me Sebastian,” he replied. “In return, I will also call you by your first name.”

“I don’t think I can do that.”

“I think you forgot that I was the King here.”

As you exchanged banter with him the space between you and him became non-existent. He looked down and moved the loose curls from your face. He gently kissed your forehead, cheeks, lips, chin, jaw and made his way to your neck. His stubble grazed on your exposed skin as he sucked in your skin with his teeth. A soft moan escaped your lips. He pulled away to admire the tender marking he left on your skin.

“Are you ready to do this?” He asked cautiously.

You came into this thinking that it was duty, but now your heart was desiring more. You wanted this more than you thought you did.

You nodded in response.

“You have to tell me,” he hesitated. “Once we start, I won’t be able to stop myself.”

“Yes. I want this.” You replied back, slightly scared of the words that left your mouth.

His bluish-green eyes got dark with lust as he started to tear the reception gown with his bare hands. The dress fell into pieces without any resistance against his strength. You watched as his biceps flexed effortlessly as the diamonds from your dress scattered across the carpet.

The cold air felt nice against your hot skin as you stood in front of him in a lacey white bra and matching panties. You watched him as he placed his against your skin for the first time. His warm, calloused hands grazed against your arms and traced the sides of your body with fire in his eyes. You were starting to realize what he meant by how he couldn’t stop himself.

In one motion, he picked you up and moved you to the bed. He pushed against you with his body until you were completely laying down on the satin sheets. His body was stretched over yours with one knee on the bed. He skillfully unclipped your bra and bowed his head and started to kiss your breasts. Another surprise moan escaped your lips as he moved on your nipple. You didn’t realize how sensitive your nipple was until he started to nibble on them with his teeth. Your reflexes went wild underneath his body and he quickly held your body in place with a firm grip.

“Relax,” he said in between the kisses on your nipples. “You need to relax.”

“Ah-” One moan after another escaped your lips as you gripped onto the sheets. Then, you felt a strange sensation between your thighs. His finger traced the wet outline of your panties before pushing a finger inside. Unfamiliar wet sounds came as he slowly moved his finger in and out.

“Mm, you are so wet.”

You couldn’t describe this feeling. There was a strange sensation of pain and bliss mixed together as he used his finger to explore your insides. Several times, you tried to push his hand away when it hurt more than it felt good, but he continued on until you felt all your muscles tense up and with a loud scream everything released.

“Your first orgasm officially belongs to me.”

He got up and quickly lowered his pants and briefs revealing a body part you never saw in person. Today was a day of many first. He was large and hard. You could see the thick veins bulging and eager. He made his way back over you and looked into your eyes. You felt the heat of his part radiating on your lower body.

“This is going to hurt, Y/N. Try to breathe.”

You closed your eyes and you heard him chuckle. His lips and tongue landed on yours as he slowly entered you. You screamed into this mouth and his mouth muffled the sound. Nothing but pain was on your mind as he invaded you with his part. You felt your insides crush as it didn’t know what to do with the foreign invader. You fiercely gripped his wrists as he settled in.

He pulled from the kiss and let out a string of profanities. “Fuck, you are so tight.”

You screamed at him like a deer that’s been shot through the throat. He looked down at you like a hunter admiring his dinner.

“My king,” you begged through the tears forming around your eyes. You felt warm liquid leak from your body. He quickly pulled out to check the crimson liquid that stained the white covers.

“I can’t wait any more…”

He drove his part back inside you as your body reacted like a fish out of water. You were both covered in sweat as he pushed deeper inside you with each thrust. You cried out with each thrust and started to feel lightheaded and exhausted. Tears and sweat dripped down your face. His body was too much to handle. You noticed as his breathing got heavier and harder. Sweat dripped from his body onto yours and his hot breath hit your skin.

“Fuck...”

He grunted as you felt a warm liquid enter your body. You blinked in and out of consciousness as you felt him move out of you and the warm liquid gushed out with him. Your eyelids became heavier and you barely caught his velvet voice somewhere between the real and the dream world.

“Sweet dreams, my queen.”

Water.

You needed water. Blinking your eyes open, you dragged your body to the edge of the bed and reached your hands out towards the end table. Your hands felt a thin glass cup and you gulped the clear liquid down. Your dry throat rejoiced as the liquid traveled through your body. You felt like you were hit by a truck overnight as your body started to wake up.

Your eyes widened as the memories of last night replayed in your head like a broken film. You quickly searched across the white bed covers to look for the blood stains. You let out a sigh as you didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. The crisp white sheets looked as if it was new, it even smelled like a field of jasmine flowers.

There was no sight of the King around the suite. You were also wearing a white silk sleep gown that barely covered your body. It was very short and showed off your cleavage. You had no memories of putting this on. Did he put this on you last night?

There was a loud knock on the door and you hastily covered your body with the bed sheets.

“Queen Callisto, are you awake?”

The voice was not familiar to you, but you felt like you had to answer back. The sun was already coming into the room and you could only guess that you overslept.

“Yes! I’m awake!” You blurted back.

“Great, I’m coming in-”

“Wait- What- Hold on!”

The doors swung open before he could hear you finish protesting back otherwise. Duke Evans walked into the room and the moment your eyes met you saw his eyes shift towards the rest of your body. His face turned beet red and immediately turned his back.

“Oh gosh! Um- I’m so sorry!” He said as he stared at the doors with his back faced towards you. “I thought you were awake.”

Could this day start off any more embarrassing? You got up from the bed with the sheets draped over your body.

“No, no. It’s fine! I mean not fine, but I’m so sorry you had to see that.”

“The king is requesting your presence for an early dinner in an hour. He wanted me to drop and see if you were awake so he could send your servants in to get you ready.”

“Yes! I didn’t realize how late it was. Please send them in.”

“Right, I’ll send them in right away.” The Duke fidgeted with the door handles before eventually getting them open. He looked adorable from the back as he grunted like a little kid with his large muscular arms. Was it a requirement that all men of Callisto had to be so muscular and well built? With a loud thud the door busted open and he quickly darted outside.

He stood outside the door of the king’s suite. His mind tortured him as it replayed the image of her innocent, flushed face staring back at him like a deer in headlights. He even remembered her milky skin and dainty fingers as she hugged the bed sheet close.

“Fuck,” he breathed softly.

He didn’t know how he got here. All he knew for certain was that he remembered her, but she didn’t remember him. Pushing his hand through his hair in frustration, he took a deep breath.

His watch vibrated on his wrist with a notification. He tapped on the ear piece in his ear to play the message.

“Was she awake?” Seb asked.

Tapping on his ear comms again, he replied. “Reply to Seb. She’s awake, I’m calling her servants now.” A flat note played confirming the message has been delivered.

He waited for another second at the door before walking off to the servant’s quarters.

Okay. So I bet you're searching for some fics right now because you're bored, then you're at the right place. So this is a list of my favorite Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers fics. I've read so many fics but I'm going to list the fics which I remember and I recently read. You're probably wondering why I'm doing this it's because FIC WRITERS DON'T GET THE RECOGNITION THEY DESERVE. YES YOU HEARD ME. They spend so much of their time on this blog to give us such good stories/ contents, they have their personal life but still they write for us. And it is our time to be grateful for them so please if you ever read a fic, please like, reblog and comment. I've been on tumblr for less then a year and I've seen so many fic writers leave this blog. It genuinely hurts me because their loosing their inspiration because not many people recognize their talents. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LIKE, REBLOG AND COMMENT ON THE FICS YOU READ AND LOVE. I know many of you read and don't reblog but please do cause as fan-fic readers it's the least we can do. So on this though I'm going to be listing the fics I've read. I'll see if this gets good response then I'll maybe do more. I'm in no way doing this for myself, it's for all the fic writers to tell them how grateful I am. So if you're reading this please like or reblog this so I'll know people are seeing this. Okay so I've spoken enough let's go:

@all1e23 So Allie's fics are the first bucky x reader fics I've ever read on tumblr. Her writing is really good and I would recommend you to read all of her fics. The swallows, astrophile, between the stars are all my favorites. But my most favorite will be heart and soul that's just *NO WORDS*.You can literally binge her entire masterlist.

@invisibleanonymousmonsters I LOVE LOVE LOVE heart of steel. It was so good I had to call my cousin up and tell her this story. Like I'm not going to spoil it for y'all it's just *chef's kiss*. It's a knight!bucky x princess!reader. I'm telling you y'all won't be disappointed. And all of her other fics are good too. Y'all can check out her masterlist, it's definitely my favorite.

@simsadventures JUST READ PANOPTICON. it's an alpha! Steve Rogers x reader. It's sooooo good and she also writes Bucky x reader. She also wrote an alpha!bucky is I'm not wrong. Check out her masterlist too guys.

@hispeculiartreasure I've read only one fic of her's it's called All we've got is time. My god!! I loved that fic so much. It's a 40s Bucky fic. I was so addicted to it. I think it's one of the first 40s au I've read. Y'all should read it.

@allandoflimbo Take it back -pls read this. Don't even get me started. I'm never one to read cheating fics, but let me tell you it's not what I expected TBH. It's a Bucky x reader. That's all I'm going to tell you. I'm already getting chills talking about this fic. She's also writing on wattpad and ao3. She's got another new fic written it's called Ashens( I think). But I'm telling y'all will not regret it.

@speechlessxx I'm obsessed with her fics. I remember a long time back I read cherry chapstick, it's a Chris evans x reader. It was so good and I didn't know who wrote it. it was super good. And then her fics Bring me light. Wowowwo. It's a king! Steve Rogers fic. God I use to literally wait for her to post it. She also has a new fic. You can check out her masterlist, I tell you.

@kayteewritessteve JUST CHECK OUT HER ENTIRE MASTERLIST OKAY. THERE'S NOTHING MUCH TO SAY. IF I START TALKING ABOUT HER FICS I WON'T STOP. Anyways I still will. She mostly writes only Steve Rogers fics. I love literally every story she writes. It's just wowowoow. She has Mob! Steve, King! Steve, Cop! Steve. Just read it okay. No excuses

@whistlingwillows I've just read two of her fics but let me tell you, I was not able to come out of it. I myself have to check her masterlist cause she has SO MANY GOOD FICS. Buried in you're bones and foxglove just made me cry. Like seriously they're that good.

@jaamesbbarnes I love Disney au's so much and god y'all have to read Sirens song. It was so simple yet beautiful. It's a CEO! Bucky fic. And lets just say it was so freaking cute.

@redgillan READ HER ENTIRE MASTERLIST. Like she has so many good fics I get confused sometimes. Right now I'm obsessed with Under pastel skies. It's a Bucky Barnes fic. And it's a sugar daddy au. And it's not what you think 😳😏it's so freaking romantic. Just read it. And check her masterlist too. If I'm not wrong she has so many Steve Rogers fic too.

@papi-chulo-bucky AHAHAHA. I LOVE HERR FICS like TBH it's amazing. That's it. And I love her fic called Haunting ME. It's one of my favorites coz its a POC! reader fic. Like wowowowo. And the plot is so good. Check her out guys.

@floatingpetals Read the Shifter series. It's so cute and the reader is clingy(like me). And I just love it when the readers animal self interacts with Bucky. It's such a good series honestly give it a read.

@brooklyn-boy one word MASTERLIST. Like you can find both Steve and Bucky fics. I think there also a stucky one. I love all of they're stories and you guys it's so good. My favorite one will be a Sea of Strangers

@romanticromanogers Eternal fever is such a good fic. It's a biker gang! Bucky and the reader works as a dancer in a bar. It's so good I can't wait for the next chapter. Please give this fic a try you'll live it I'm sure.

@xetoilerouge LIFE AS WE KNOW IT. yes you read it right it's based on the movie with the same title but it's so much different and even more cuter. It's a Bucky fic. Y'all will not regret it.

@wkemeup I STOPPED THINKING FOR A MINUTE CAUSE I HAD FLASH BACKS OF HER FICS. Like her fics have you going in a rollercoaster and it's like you cannot even expect the plot twist. And her plot is good and her writing is amazing. By any other name and guiding light are my all time favorites. Both had me wandering around my house at night.

@cxptain Last night only I finished reading one of her fics. And honestly it's really good I can't wait to read the rest of her fics in her masterlist. She wrote a mob! Steve fic and god it's freaking cute. And I have to say this it has the ultimate Sam, Bucky and Peter interaction it's so funny. Honestly I died laughing. AND SHE ALSO HAS A DESI FIC!!??! CAN I SEE MY DESI READERS!!! it's a Bucky x desi reader and honestly I read the prolonge and I was so excited. Y'all can definitely read her fics too.

@justreadingfics WAIT I HAVE TO TAKE A MINUTE. *inhales and exhales* OK just read it's a deal. It's a Bucky fic and it's still wip. And not to mention it's soooo HOTTT. And if you ever want to cry your freaking heart and brains out Read looking for a heart beat honestly I cried like a freaking baby and let me tell you I wasn't looking cute. But just I regretted not reading it early. PLSSSS FREAKING READ IT YALL ARE MISSING OUT SO MUCH.
