A scene that apparently happened sometime between leaving Beast Island and arriving at the Bright Moon:
Adora, pulling Micah aside: OK, so remember that old teacher you had up at Mystacor? Light Spinner? Yeah, she's alive and she calls herself Shadow Weaver now. Just wanted to mention that in case we get to Bright Moon and she's hanging out and you want to dramatically say her name, no one will get who you mean if you say Light Spinner, so... Shadow Weaver. Got it? Honestly, if you forget her name just call her "traitor" or something, it's fine. Oh! And she's got a new color scheme now, no more golds and pastels. It's all magenta and black with this CRAZY asymmetrical turtle neck thing. Plus, she always wears this full face mask. Yeah, not just the little scarf thing anymore. The whole deal. Just wanted you to be able to recognize her on sight so if she's doing something crazy like sitting on Glimmer's throne or whatever when we get to Bright Moon, you won't be all "Who's that?" because she looks nothing like the person you used to know. Dramatic moment, no time for exposition, you know how it is.
Ok, so I've had this thought/theory/idea in my brain for about a year now.
So, Angella is immortal, so she can survive without food and water, right?
And now that they're in the larger galaxy they can create stable portals, correct?
So, what if they figured out how to make a portal to Angella and got her out. Like, I bet Entrapta could program a stable portal to get to whatever the weird dimension is so the others could get Angella out. I've started picturing like Adora, Catra, and maybe Bow teaming up with Entrapta to do this to surprise Glimmer and Micah.
I would love to see a fanfic of this and might write one at some point, but no promises.
Ok, so when they find Micah on Beast Island he keeps saying "I haven't talked to anyone real... You are real, right?" and it finally hit me that he's so unsure about it, because he experienced the fake portal world too, and like everyone else, presumably still has those memories.
So we all know he tried to tell Angella that he was alive before Bright Moon disappeared in the portal world, but I just thought about how fucked up that must've been from HIS perspective.
Ok so, you're Micah, you've been surviving on a nightmare island for well over a decade, when suddenly one morning you wake up back at home with your family. Then that world fuckin' collapses and BAM, you're right back in your personal horror show.
But THEN, not even a year later (which is nothing to you given how long you've been there and how degraded your sense of time is) here comes these kids. The same kids you met in that heart wrenching tease of a hallucination (that you still have no explanation for, and must assume was just something the island did) come waltzing up to you, on your godforsaken forgotten prison island that no one is supposed to know the location of, talking about your family and taking you home to Bright Moon.
Assuming all of that is totally fake was honestly the most rational assumption he could make 🤷🏻♀️
