From Software is so fucking good I know it's mario day but im feeling so autistic about From Software games. Three fucking cheers for From Software I love their games I need to sink my teeth into as much of their library as possible because by god they just make such gripping, fascinating games that allow for deep player expression whilst demanding keen execution and strategy and I just adore it so much.

I wonder if From Software will try to revive King's Field now that they succeeded with Armored Core.

I am more interested in how they would go about doing 1st person combat now, after so long just making 3rd person stuff(except for Deraciné i guess, but thats a vr game).

From five seconds reading what kf fans have to say, the slowness and strategy is kind of part of the king's field identity (apparently Lunacid doesnt play at all like a kf game, too fast). How would the 10 years of making the souls games increasingly faster affect that? How much of that jankiness was just limitations, and they would have made it faster if they could at the time?

Finished a new enemy for #Lunacid today! I think I'm going to go with the basic name Dead Wood but I am open to suggestions for other names.

Inspired of course by these guys!

FROMSOFT has made a lot of spooky tree enemies over the years, but I don't know what lead to that terrible design for the Sword of Moonlight Engine one.
