I still get so confused over why Demyx’s death in KH2 was so different from the other Nobodies:

Okay

Okay so here’s a normal Organisation death: dark particles (with little bits of light), and a whooshing sound:

But then there’s Demyx’s death: starts with the dark particles, but then is swallowed by a pillar of LIGHT and bubbles/water, accompanied by a more watery noise:

It’s just plain weird and he’s the only one to die like that, and he’s also the only member of Organisation that we know next to nothing about, it just makes me so curious of what this little rats deal is

Sometimes I wish that Demyx was a more important character than he was. After all, he was the first to say that the Organization actually had hearts before it was confirmed in DDD. Plus if it wasn’t for him bringing that vessel, Roxas wouldn’t have been reborn.

Hopefully he returns in KH4 as an at least mildly important character.

Axel is, hands down, my BIGGEST video game crush, and tbh one of my top fav video game characters. (And the main reason I followed the clusterfuck that is the KH series.) I love passionate hot-heads, I love snarky jokesters that call out bullshit. And he's so fucking pretty, like goddamn

His sly, conniving, deviously manipulative personality in Birth By Sleep (and a bit in KH2) gives me goosebumps and lee panic

And as fun as he was as a villain/anti-villain, I absolutely adore his character development throughout the series. He went from a sneaky double-agent with too much emotional baggage, to an absolute fucking sweetheart. His reunion with Roxas and Xion made me sob like a bitch.

He somewhat tries to be a villain, but I adore how by the end of the series, even after he's 'Norted, he's just like "Nah screw you guys, I'mma do my own thing and just play my music". Go off, king.

I remember when 'what if Roxas and Xion befriended [Insert OrgXIII member] instead of Axel was a massive thing in the KH Fandom (maybe it still is and I just haven't found any recently) but I don't think I ever saw the best version of this scenario: Roxas and Xion form a band with Demyx.

Like imagine Demyx is sent out with Roxas on a mission and notices 'hey this kid's got a lot of pent-up angst and aggression and rather than think about how weird that is for a Nobody I'm gonna focus on how that'd make him a good drummer' and the next thing Roxas knows they're completely ignoring their objective and instead looking for a second-hand instrument store in Twilight Town.

So then Roxas and Demyx become friends which leads to Roxas properly introducing him to Xion and therefore she starts to be more open around Demyx, and because you cannot convince me that Xion isn't the kind of person who makes up dumb songs in her head to pass the time, she starts humming/singing while on a mission with him and Demyx instantly goes' Yo we've got our front woman!' (Of course, he later learns that Roxas can also sing and just starts constantly hyping both of them up)

So not only is their band a bizarre mishmash of Demyx's fairly traditional sitar playing, Roxas' incredibly intense drumming and Xion's lyrics about how she saw a cute bunny the other day and named it Flopsy, but they also insist on playing/"rehearsing" in the Grey Area and every time they do Saix is just sat there with his head in his hands like 'they are supposed to be collecting hearts so we can all become human again, Demyx.'
