Beach love <3 (story below)

Malwina delikatnie położyła dłoń na policzku Juliana. Był to wyjątkowo pasjonujący dzień. Pełen wrażeń i doznań. Słońce chyliło się ku zachodowi i rozpaliło niebo ognistymi barwami. Plaża zmieniła się z gorącej patelni w majestatyczny pejzaż i rozkosz dla zmysłu wzroku. Jednak Malwina nie mogła oderwać wzroku od swojego towarzysza. Czując ciężar jego ciała na swoich kolanach i delikatną sierść pod palcami, po ciele przechodziły ją dreszcze. Cały dzień spędzony u boku króla, znacznie różnił się od przygodnych relacji, których dotąd doświadczała.

- Julianie... - łagodny i zmysłowy głos Malwiny rozbrzmiał wśród szumu fal i cichnących odgłosów dżungli.  - To był... pokręcony dzień. - Palce lemurzycy zanurzyły się w bokobrodach partnera, który uśmiechną się w odpowiedzi.

- W całym swoim życiu - zaczął po dłuższej chwili milczenia. - nie sądziłem, że nadejdzie dzień, który w moich oczach mógłby trwać wiecznie.

- Jesteś wyjątkowy, Julianie. - Powiedziała gładząc jego pierś. - Z nikim dotąd nie było mi tak dobrze jak z tobą. Czuję..., że jest między nami coś szczególnego. 

- Ja też. - król przyznał patrząc jej głęboko w oczy, po czym wybuchnął nerwowym śmiechem. - Gdy Moris i Jagoda się dowiedzą, pewnie powiedzą, że brak nam piątej klepki... Znamy się przecież tak krótko. 

Malwina wyraźnie posmutniała na wspomnienie o siostrze. Doskonale wiedziała, że Jagoda w żadnym wypadku nie wesprze jej i uczucia, którym darzy Juliana. Już od lat nie są sobie przychylne. Cień niezgody i piętrzące się nieporozumienia mocno nadszarpnęły ich siostrzaną relację. Jagoda była świadkiem wielu jej pogmatwanych relacji, nieszczęśliwych miłości, czy toksycznych związków. To jasne, że będzie próbowała wybi�� władcy z głowy jej towarzystwo. Jej determinacja i szczere uczucie na nic się tu nie zdadzą. Znała Juliana znacznie dłużej. Zdążyła zyskać jego sympatię i zaufanie. No właśnie... zawsze zjednywała sobie ludzi. Szli za nią, polegali na niej bez większego wysiłku. Nawet rodzicie wierzyli w nią bardziej. Wiedzieli, że osiągnie sukces... nie mylili się. Została królewskim ochroniarzem. 

- O co chodzi? - Władca natychmiast spochmurniał widząc smutną twarz lemurzycy, Usiadł naprzeciwko niej, by lepiej się jej przyjrzeć. 

- To nic. - Malwina wysiliła się na uśmiech. - Tylko moja siostra... - zamilkła niespodziewanie.

- Sądzisz, że Jagódka będzie zazdrosna? - Spojrzał na dziewczynę z lekkim rozbawieniem. Lubił żartować na temat ukrytego uczucia, jakim darzy go Jagoda. Ale gdzieś w głębi dobrze wiedział, że się łudzi. Że jest to coś co chce usłyszeć co niekoniecznie ma cokolwiek wspólnego z pracą, nawet gdyby bardzo tego chciał... - Twoja siostra chyba nie należy do tych, co łatwo się zakochują. - Przyznał gorzko. 

Malwina przyuważyła cień smutku na jego twarzy.

- Chciałabym być z tobą tak blisko, jak ona. - Wyrwała szybciej niż pomyślała. - Bycie u twojego boku całymi dniami, towarzyszenie ci, to coś o czym marzy pewnie każda lemurzyca w królestwie. 

Julian zdawał się niemal słyszeć kpiące  parsknięcie Morisa, gdyby tylko usłyszał te słowa. Nie dał jednak nic po sobie poznać.

- Wystarczyło by mi gdyby jedna lemurzyca o tym marzyła. - Chwycił Malwinę za rękę.

Dziwne, na przemian ciepłe i chłodne uczucie ogarnęło Malwinę na dźwięk słów Juliana. Jak gdyby banalne słowa, które słyszała niejednokrotnie, nagle nabrały głębszego sensu.

- O to nie musisz się martwić. - Uśmiechnęła się zalotnie i przyłożyła swój nos do nosa władcy. 

Julian uśmiechnął się, po czym wygodnie usadowił głowę na kolanach partnerki. Zamknął oczy, rozkoszując się delikatnym dotykiem jej rąk. I choć rozwiał wszelkie wątpliwości wybranki, to gdzieś w głębi serca czuł niepokój. Niepokój, czy jego uczucia są właściwe. Czy nie wyolbrzymia ich, czy czuje to co Malwina, czy ich uczucia na pewno są takie same? A jeśli się łudzi, jeśli to tylko przelotne zauroczenie, czy... można zastąpić uczucie jednej z sióstr, miłością drugiej siostry?

7x05 vs 8x05 - Mirroring Scenes

Not only is this the surrender of the Lannister army twice (in 7x05, it has their allies like the Tarlys as well), but it also shows you just why you should have been concerned at the Tarlys' execution no matter how much of a jerk Randyll was to Sam.

First we start out with Dany "addressing" her defeated enemies from a high vantage point (above them all):

(Also it's no coincidence that we are shown in 8x05 the scared KL citizens first when Dany lands instead of the Lannister soldiers - this shows you exactly the intimidation Dany was using not only here but also back in 7x05 - Dany is very well aware of how her dragons scare people & she uses it as an intimidation tactic every time, she has always used fear)

"I offer you a choice. Bend the knee and join me. Together we will leave the world a better place than we found it. Or refuse and die."

Not enough people made the choice and bent the knee were intimidated/conquered & saw her for being a savior in 7x05 so Drogon flexes and sure enough we see:

In 8x05, the Lannister soldiers have not surrendered yet so we see Drogon flexing again (at Dany's command through their bond):

In 7x05, Dany orders Randyll to step forward and after some back and forth between he and Tyrion, she asks him "You will not trade your honor for your life?" (which calls back to what Dany asks Jon in 7x04 "Isn't their survival more important than your pride?" while withholding her help in the NK war until Jon bends the knee) Randyll straight up tells her that she is not his queen and so he seals his fate.

When Dickon refuses to bend the knee, Tyrion tries his best to convince Dany to put him in a cell. "I meant what I said. I'm not here to put men in chains. If that becomes an option, many will take it." (which shows right here that she always intended to rip the old world out "root and stem" & not truly win the hearts and minds of her people or rule with love or even love mixed with some fear) "I gave them a choice. They made it." -> in 8x05, people cry out for the bells to be rung in KL, to surrender, just like the Lannister army was given the choice to lay down their swords & when they made that choice, it sealed all of their fates

"Your Grace, you start beheading entire families--"

"I'm not beheading anyone."

Which is the uninhibited and terrifying (Dany POV-less) version of this scene en masse:

And is it any wonder that we see Cersei and Jaime in the 8x05 scene before Dany makes her decision, more specifically Jaime picking up a sword as he makes his way through the city to get to Cersei? Especially when:

(and Jaime is a mirror of Jon in a way which considering Dany's end and how it comes about is important to keep in mind especially since "You can forgive them all and make them see that they made a mistake. Please, Dany" & then Tyrion and Jon are mirrored later on as well, right down to the relieved expressions on their faces when they both see surrenders happening from their different vantage points)

We all already been knew but when you pick apart these scenes and see just how much they mirrored these two events, it becomes even more evident where they were headed with Dany's story in the end. While the execution of her dark turn was rushed (and then the moral & impact of her arc was negated by that Emilia-insisted reminder of season 1 Dany in the 8x06 throne room scene dialogue because she was too close to it), this was always where she was headed. They did everything but put up a big sign in neon lights telling you where this was always going.

And say what you will about the writing, the last season, the show, the showrunners, etc., but connecting scenes like this through mirroring was absolutely brilliant.
