Stardew Valley - Carlotta de Saint-Exupéry
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gods, my brain is seriously glitching, I was convinced I posted this here, and I didn't).
anyway!
Good Morning, Good Morning everyone!!
Allow me to finally share the concept art/profile of my dear baby bean, Carlotta!! She is how I envision my Farmer on StarDew Valley to be like! A small ray of sun, with kind eyes and an even kinder heart!
To be honest, while designing her I went FULL IMMERSION into my most favourite among the manga and anime I used to watch as a child, so it's safe to say that I was deeply inspired by some of them (CCS and Clamp in general, and the Majokko genre in particular).
Also, the template is from here: x
So, allow me to share some more info about her!
PROFILE
Name: Carlotta de Saint-Exupéry
Age: 20 years old
Lives in: Nightfall Meadows - Forest Farm
Family: Bruno (Grandfather - deceased), Kipo, Calcifer; She has an older brother, Ettore, who she gets along with and that she misses a lot. She is not on speaking terms with her parents ever since she was 15 and she ran off from home and lived with her brother in the city.
Friends: The Wizard, Marnie, Leah, Gus.
Spouse: Sebastian
Loves: Coffee; Cappuccino Mouse Cake; Pancakes; Star Shards (she loves to receive them because she grinds them into Kipo's food, per their request); Rainbow Shells (she keeps them in a small box close to her bed. When she was a child, she used to scour for them, whenever her grandpa would bring her for a walk at the beach, and he used to tell her they would bring her good fortune if she kept them close to her bed at night.); Sunflowers and Fairy roses. So much. When it's their season, she always makes sure to plant more, so that she can keep some in the house.
Hates: Sashimi, Salmon Burger, Void Mayonnese (her brother tricked her into eating it when she was a child, and ever since then, she is absolutely horrified of even hearing its name), Truffles, Cave Carrots, Prismatic Shards;
Favourite Colours: Teal, Pink and Pale Blue
Hobbies: Cooking, and she is pretty good at it. Playing the guitar and singing. She loves to collect vintage garments that she likes to wear around.
(more under the cut)
TRIVIA
Her farm is called Nightfall Meadows for the huge meadows filled with flowers. Because of this, her farming is mostly focused on Beekeeping and Flower Cultivation. The Nightfall Honey is renowned in all of the Valley;
Carlotta's adopted cat is called Calcifer, in honour of her favourite character from her favourite movie (she is a Studio Ghibli Enthusiast);
When she speaks, she has a little lisp that makes her a little self-conscious (but that Sebastian finds absolutely adorable);
She is interested in magic and the preternatural and was interested in it even before she moved to her Grandpa's farm. She often goes visiting the Wizard, and it's safe to say that he is one of the closest friends she made in her time at the Valley.
One day, she found a capsule with something inside, and fascinated by it, she decided to bring it inside her home and take care of it, to see if anything would happen to it. And something did happen: a small alien came out of it, presenting themselves as Kipo, an impish little pixie that loves to spend their days picking flowers and eating sugary food. They adore Carlotta, and Carlotta adores them: she doesn't mind at all to have them floating around while she is busy working; in truth, because of how lonely Carlotta felt, during those first months at the farm, Kipo's company was of extreme comfort.
One of her favourite activities is to take her bicycle and go for a long ride down the path that would bring her to the beach. When she is done working at the Farm, it's not unusual to see her biking around!
Another activity she absolutely adores is stargazing. She loves to just sit on the swing built on the porch of her house, with a warm tea for herself and a few cookies for Kipo, and just look up, especially during the long summer nights. Once she and Sebastian tie the knot, he would sit down with her, wrapping a blanket around both of them and just gazing up together.
She loves to play the guitar, and loves when Kipo accompanies her in singing!
Carlotta always ALWAYS wears a hat. It's virtually impossible to see her without one. She even wears a vintage nightcap in bed.
Her last name, de Saint-Exupéry, is a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of "The Little Prince";
A way to describe her is a small beam of Sun, truly a drop of Sun fallen from the sky, ever so gentle, ever so sweet, and always with a kind smile.
However, she's also known to have a short temper and could be stubborn like is nobody's business
And that's all I have now to share for dear Carlotta!!
If you have a farmer for SDV yourself, do not hesitate do drop by and say hi!!😊
Hope you will like her!!

Kipo’s Final Season
Well, it was a journey you guys.
Inevitably it’s bittersweet, because while it WAS a happy ending… You know. It’s an ending! Phenomenal final season, final trio of seasons, the show really wrapped itself up, but I’m empty that it’s gone now!
It’s why I held off on watching the final season… My heart wasn’t ready to let go yet. And sure, if the third season were suddenly to get a BUNCH of ratings, we might get those additional motives that Radfor Sechrist hinted at the possibility of! But I’m still sad because the main journey is gone, and the cast, as we’ve gotten to know them, have left!
Not entirely, but still! I will have to say that Kipo, Benson, Wolf, Mandu, and Troy are ROCKING all of their new looks! I love that Kipo looks more like her dad Lio, too! Speaking of which, I really enjoyed seeing Dave and Lio get along unintentionally… It was AMAZING to see Song return, and I just…
I’m SAY, you know! I’m sad to see it all go. It really felt a final farewell to all of the cast and world we love… We got to see the return of various characters, including Fun Gus, of all people- Love the way his and Emilia’s arcs sort of tied together! And I love the symbolism of Emilia losing herself, as the idea of her becoming the very thing she swore to destroy… Those are great stories to me, haunting and chilling!
LOVE how this year has been bringing us Gay Proms! First Grom, then Prahm! Prahm was great… I love Doag, though I feel sorry for her because of that NAME… But good for you Hoag, you’re a father and you let those paternal instincts override any fear, paranoia, and prejudice you may have had! Sure the warning didn’t come through in time, but at least you tried! Good for you…
Also, I know Asher and Dahlia had a minimal presence, but I ENJOYED every last second of them we got, even as background characters! I loved the way the arc progressed, the stories behind Mutes and Humans getting along… It all felt so organic and natural, you know? And HUGO…!
I’m not over his death. The worst part was that he DID redeem himself and fully change, so… It wasn’t like one of those Redemption-equals-Death cop outs! Hugo had already gotten his redemption. The crew really just wrote that for the sake of stomping on our hearts, huh? WELL THEY DID… Rest in peace, you funky mandrill! His arc was particularly brilliant and naturally-flowing, I love that final callback to his mess with Aurum… Hugo was just being that moody, temperamental older brother who’s a teen and insists he’s not going through a phase- But he loves his little sister and will humor her!
I miss him already… And I LOVE his interactions with Wolf, as siblings by proxy of Kipo, but also their shared cynicism and trauma as I speculated about! Hugo making a blanket-cloak for Wolf, to replace the old one she had, which represented her trauma and past… I hadn’t even considered it, but it’s right! The way Hugo and Wolf’s arcs together to take out Emilia, only for Greta of all people to make a final point… It was amazing! Superb, brilliant, it was EXACTLY what I wanted to see and MORE! How we had this powerful and meaningful growth for the two of them as siblings in their own right, without necessarily having to rely on fighting… Just quiet moments!
And Kipo… I love you Kipo! I was afraid the show might give us an arc of Kipo being ‘cured’ and having to struggle with no longer being part-mute, even if she were to eventually get that back… And they didn’t! They let Kipo be Kipo! I love her nature as a girl of two worlds, and how she brings both worlds together into one seamless creation! And her DNA gives me hope of a vaccine being made…
I’m still sad over the deaths of Yumyan, Margot, Rupert, Camille, Brad, Billions, etc.! Remember the fallen… I was REALLY wishing the show would have them brought back to their old minds, and while still having them around in spirit sort of helped (as they were basically senile after the ‘cure’)… COME ON, this show has already been so bright and optimistic and hopeful in many other regards! Is it too much to ask that the ‘cure’ gets reverted, that they recover their old minds! It’s really messed up particularly with Margot and Rupert, as they were KIDS… Rupert was just being held hostage, and Margot DID make the effort to change her mind, just like Hoag she didn’t expect Emilia to be ahead of her! Maybe if we get that hypothetical sequel film with Wolf, MAYBE we could have Margot brought back… Or at least go over Wolf’s thoughts of Margot technically betraying her, but to save Rupert, and ultimately doing the right thing- Only to die! I wish we got to discuss that.
Interesting that they never go about the origins of Mutes, but honestly… Not too important to me? The exact cause wasn’t a big deal to me, what matters is that it happened and now it’s here! Speaking of which, I LOVED the Dave episode… Controversial opinion, I think he’s a great character! I love how the show confirmed he was there as far back as THE beginning, and he was just… VIBING the entire time, over a fan! What DID happen to the fan, I wonder? Imagine if it got destroyed- Or even better, if it just ran out of battery! The implication that the fan somehow was able to run for two centuries, but still ran out of energy… Lol.
THAT episode was a masterpiece of morbid humor, what with the idea of this one loser being THAT caught over a fan, Dave being responsible for skyscraper ridge… And that bit of Daves getting KILLED, but it’s never explained and then just sort of glossed over- It’s arguably amongst the pinnacle of morbid humor! The kind that just happens, and because it’s left unexplained it’s just BETTER, more horrifying, whilst funnier… And Benson! Like I said, the background, unspoken, but obvious implication that the Daves and Fanatics (is that what those humans called themselves?) slaughtered each other until one was left. YIKES… But it was still so brilliantly done and conveyed, it really is the epitome of dark humor to me!
Benson got his kiss! He got his kiss with Troy! And now they’re running a restaurant together, Cappuccino gave them a SIX star review… But please don’t call them potato noodles. They’re fries. I can overlook anything, but NOT that! But now I crave that hypothetical sequel film that Radford Sechrist hinted at… Gimme gimme, please! Mostly I just want closure on those Mutes who got ‘cured’, I know it’s immature, but please bring them back!
All in all, this was just… BRILLIANT! It was GOOD, and it makes me even sadder because I found myself so happy to see these characters progress, like with Zane, or Greta… Wolf letting go of her cloak, she’s so PRECIOUS I love her so much, and I love how Hugo was like an older brother to her and I miss him already! I love Kipo, I love Benson and Dave’s backstory, I love Troy, Asher, and Dahlia… I want MORE, please! I feel like I’m not yet ready to let go. And maybe I don’t necessarily have to, but still…
And it’s absolutely wild to me, because this all happened within a year. It’s been a journey, huh? Once it was as simple as getting back to her old home… And while Kipo lost that, she made a new, better one! And I love that, but I’m also going to miss it- Because it feels that just as we got it back, we left! Well, I can always return in my own way, but for now…
THANK YOU, to everyone who worked on this show! I’m going to miss Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts! It was utterly brilliant, and I’m glad you got to tell the story you wanted! Here’s hoping you get to indulge in the world of Kipo maybe one last, or two, times!

YES! I knew some other Kipo blogs were up! Okay- time to spiral down into MADNESS. (I am sorry. But I saw you post recently, and I’ve been hoarding this to myself-) First things first, has the Mute outbreak spread all across the globe? If so, I’d DIE to see other cities and Mute-based cultures and other humans running around hearing the legend of this mysterious “Kipo.” Maybe even the Kipo gang hearing about the outsiders themselves, and eventually coming outside of Las Vistas to explore! Gosh how I wish there was more world building if we had more seasons in the show… that and an artistic map of the whole city! Like there must be things out there, especially since Cappuccino CLEARLY has a good supplier from across seas. Cant just have battered waffles around without fresh flour, that, and much more! Also, what do you think about outside cities? And or outside mutes or human burrows as a whole? We’ve seen that Mega Jaguar’s exist, and yet once Kipo comes above. They’ve seemingly disappeared!
(Also again, sorry for the word vomit)
(Sorry for the late reply)
I always assumed the outbreak happened across the world, but I never thought of it beyond that :0 This is such an interesting point!!! That'd be so so SO AWESOME to see mutes from other continents, of animals that Kipo's didn't have! Plus all the sea creatures!!! The "legend of Kipo" spreading across the globe and when peace spread past their own colony and other humans and mutes journey across the seas they find out she's a LIVING LEGEND and also that she's super cool B)
I'm thinking that either the continent they live on is so large that Mega Jaguars are located somewhere else, or they've been hunted/killed. By other mutes, or humans like Emilia. We also didn't see any other Mega Monkeys aside from Song. Or whatever the third one was (I'm blanking on it right now). I'm wondering if maybe the mute samples they used came from far-off places? I have the feeling they didn't just all die or get hunted down.... Maybe Emilia's burrow had contact with other regions and burrows? Or maybe they were somehow able to reverse-engineer them?
I'm certain outside cities and burrows exist, and humans and mutes alongside them. There's no way the worls is that small, and if Kipo's continent survived for so long- even at each other's throats!- I'm sure other continents have too. It only makes sense! :0 I wonder what states they're in, if there's a Kipo in any of the rest of the world, trying to bring mutes and humans together.... I wonder if there are any people open to that :000

Anyway, here are the dragons I managed to assemble before the site went all to hell! All of them are members of Clan Blackthorn except the Bogsneak!
The Fae is named Cappuccino and opens a beach-side cafe after the exodus, since he reminded me of Cappuccino from Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts! The SD is an old boy who came with lore, but I’m not going to use most of it; in honor of his original owner, though, I’ll stick with the fungus/decay/rot theme, hence his occupation as a mycologist! (A very weird mycologist...)
Everyone else’s lore is up in the air, and suggestions for lore and names are most welcome!

Honestly the way kipo handled the genocide and racism themes was way better than how Steven universe and star vs handled it (god i cant enjoy star vs ever since that attractors series finale)
I never was into Star Vs but I did hear the finale was very unsatisfying for just about everyone.
And SU had its biggest issues in Change Your Mind. The decision to redeem the diamonds alone was always going to be controversial, which is fine that’s to be expected, but by speedrunning it the way that they did, it felt super off. No one seemed to have made significant strides into earning Steven’s compassion. SUF kinda fixed this by showing how the Diamonds (on their own mind you) were redeeming themselves, which was great. But Yellow Diamond was the only one seemingly doing any sort of reperations for the gems shes hurt.
I do agree Kipo handled these serious themes amazingly! The theme of genocide especially. I’d have to do some more thinking on it but I think what made Kipo very good was that it 1) didn’t try to make the humans vs mute a 1:1 comparasion to the racism and bigotry we do and 2) the redemption of all the characters felt very natural and earned.
What I mean by number one is that mutes were never meant to be an allegory for people of color or any minority, nor were Kipo’s experiences on the surface. However, that didn’t stop those experiences and the stories within them from being very relatable to said minorities. Someone else already pointed out that Cappuccino’s rule of No Humans is very reminiscent of when white owners would have a rule about no blacks being allowed. Someone else pointed out that they related to Kipo’s part muteness as being mixed and feeling disconnected from a part of yourself because you never learned about it. The examples go so on and so forth. Not having a perfect 1:1 makes the experiences more flexible and thus more relatable without diminishing the nature/severity of it and without having to force these pieces into a certain narrative they weren’t good/designed for.
What makes the 1:1 comparison not work in things like Star Vs (and even Zootopia at times) mostly comes down to it feeling disjointed when you eventually want to bring serious themes to light in a world where it’s not quite like that. It’s not always bad (Zootopia was still very good at displaying its message) but it can make the moral of the story feel clunky if you’re not taking proper care of it.
( I’m not an expert on story writing so I might not be phrasing things really well. I also am not a person of color so if I’m out of my lane/missing something feel free to contribute and correct me. )
As for redemption, well that’s been talked about a lot. Jamack’s was slow burning and you can tell it went not only in stages, but he also was growing as a person as a result. Hugo’s terrible actions were as a result of trauma and abuse yes, but it never excused them and at no point did he ever try to hide behind that excuse. He genuinely acknowledged he did very shitty things and also acknowledged not everyone was going to forgive him and that’s okay. Zane’s was probably the most realistic, as he was someone who was taught and forced into a bigoted path but just spending time really made him think about it. Again, he never tried to excuse it with a “I grew up this way” he genuinely went back and wanted to help them. All the redemptions felt complete and natural. Even Emilia was offered redemption (even if she didn’t deserve it) and it was her own choice to refuse it.
I’m babbling and I could keep going but I think you’re getting the point.

After watching the 3rd episode from S2 of kipo, I got an idea for a scenario. Where, instead of meeting The Theotters and getting in through them, Kipo disguises herself as a mute by turning into her half jaguar form, finding some clothes to cover up her human features, and putting on her best "mute persona". Then her, Dave & Mundu walk in and Dave gets dragged away for his crimes, and Cappuccinos all like "never seen a mute like you around before?" to Kipo, and it's all just super tense.
I actually thought she'd do that too for a moment. You'd have that moment when everyone in the restaurant stops what they're doing and looks at her.

Wrote this as a fic for @gullwhacker
Title: Swan Song Rating: PG Fandom: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Summary: In another timeline, six years after Emilia's defeat, Kipo goes to visit her big brother.
------------------- Kipo wasn’t surprised to hear the orchestra playing as she  entered the music hall. She knew Hugo’s rehearsal would be going on for  at least another hour.
What did puzzle her to hear was a very disorganized mess of  cellos, violins, piano, trumpets and an ear scratching honk noise as she  entered the auditorium.
She saw Hugo, sitting in his conductor’s chair, with his hands over his ears. His face was in pain like he was being tortured.
“STOP! STOP! STOP!” Hugo bellowed.
Kipo kept quiet as she hugged the small wrapped gift against her chest and approached.
The orchestra halted instantly and looked up to their conductor in confusion.
“That was simply atrocious!” Hugo cried as he waved his baton.  “Benard, you need to pick up your tempo! Whitney, you need to slow do  yours and Vanessa, why in the name that all that is holy do you keep  honking?!”
The swan fumed as she set down her violin and placed her wings  on her hips. “You said it was a swan song! What am I supposed to do?”
Hugo blinked and groaned as he massaged his forehead. “Oh  for-no! It’s a phrase! It refers to a character's last song as they  die.”
“I’M DYING?!” Vanessa cried horrified.
“NO YOU’RE NOT-” Hugo stopped himself, shut his eyes and took a  deep breath through his nose. “Sorry, you know what, it’s my birthday  today and I don’t feel like dealing with this. So we’ll stop here and  resume with rehearsal tomorrow. 7 am! Sharp!”
Several groans were heard.
“It can be 6 am if you prefer,” Hugo said darkly as his fingers tapped against his baton.
The orchestra froze and swiftly nodded as they gathered up their instruments.
Kipo stepped aside to clear the path for the musicians. She  always thought Hugo was too harsh with his band, but granted he did also  have the best orchestra in the city. They were constantly invited to  play at Cappuccino’s restaurant.
Besides, it was still an improvement to how he was before. The  old Hugo would have probably kept yelling while tossing a chair of them  instead of attempting to calm himself. So progress!
Hugo turned in his seat and blinked upon seeing her. “Kipo? I  didn’t realize you had come in.” He massaged his forehead. “Apologies  for having to hear music notes being murdered.”
Kipo laughed. “It wasn’t that bad.” She frowned. “Are they having problems with the music? You open in a week.”
Hugo waved a hand as he set down his baton. “Truthfully, they  have mastered the rest of the opera, it’s only this last act they appear  to be struggling.”
Kipo grinned and wagged a finger. “Well, maybe it’s because it’s  so sad. They might have an easier time if the music was more cheerful.”
Hugo raised an eyebrow. “And how would I achieve that?”
“By not killing off the redeem villain?” Kipo replied.
Hugo laughed. “Ah, we’re arguing this again are we?” He  shrugged. “For the twentieth time, no I’m having the general die.” He  straightened his posture. “It’s the perfect finale to his character  arc!”
“Yeah, but it’s so sad,” Kipo said as she hugged her gift. “He  finally found peace, is with his family again, and made up for his  mistakes. He should be happy!”
“Ah,” Hugo said, “but, my dear sister, the most memorable  stories are those with the most bitter sweet of endings.” He lowered his  hand. “Besides, Puck agrees with me and he’s the writer.”
Kipo scoffed. “Right, and you totally have no say in the matter?”
Hugo smirked. “It’s out of my hands. Truly tragic.”
“But changing the main character from a lion to a baboon had nothing to do with your influence?”
Hugo stared at his nails. “It’s hardly my fault I’m such a positive influence on dear Puck.”
Kipo shook her head. They had argued about it before, but she  knew Hugo was dead set on this ending. She would have to save the  argument for another day.
Hugo turned in his chair. “Anyway, why are you here? I assumed we would meet at the picnic.”
“Thought I would give the birthday boy a ride,” Kipo said as she held out the gift. “And give you my present at the same time.”
“Oh? Well, thank you,” Hugo said as he took the gift.
Carefully, Hugo tore off the paper. Kipo used all of her will  power to hold back her gleeful grin as the last piece of paper fell.  Hugo blinked as he discovered the star pattern book cover that was now  in his hands.
“It’s a photo album!” Kipo declared. “I gather up the best pictures we took from the last six years.”
Hugo blinked as he began to flip through the pages. He paused  and glanced at the group shots of him, their parents and Wolf they had  taken last year. He gave a small smile as he gently shut the book.
“Thank you,” he said softly. “It’s a lovely gift.”
Kipo smiled as she hugged her brother and he hugged back.
After a moment, she let go and pointed. “Shall we go, birthday boy?”
“Yes, just let me get my cane,” Hugo said as he leaned over and reached for his wooden carved cane Song had made.
Kipo resisted the urge to help. It had been a miracle Hugo had  survived the last fight with Emilia. They had certain they had lost him,  and they almost did, but his body never fully healed. Kipo had hovered  over Hugo for weeks, driving her brother crazy, until Bensen pulled her  aside and explained she had to respect Hugo’s space.
“I know you want to fix it, but you can’t,” Bensen replied as he hugged her. “Best you can do is be there for him.”
Kipo took it to heart and tried to do just that, but there were times the instincts were hard to drive off.
Hugo leaned on the chair as he took his cane and then stood tall. “Shall we go, little sister?”
“You bet,” Kipo said as she offered an arm and smiled a little when Hugo took it.
They walked side by side as they left to join up with the rest  of their family and friends. Kipo glanced at the cane but continued  smiling. While she wished some things were perfect, she would never be   ungrateful that her brother still got to be here with her.

Reacting To: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Season 2 Episode 3)
Tumblr media
Episode Title: The Ballad of Brunchington Beach
Spoiler Warning: Kindly proceed if you’ve already seen the episode or are able to handle spoilers.
1. After the events of last episode, Kipo and her friends desperately need to get to her parents’ old burrow but they don’t know where to start. Dave comes up with an idea to see a mute who goes by the name of Cappuccino who, according to him, knows every secret in the city. She also owns the best brunch place in the city, Brunchington Beach, which I guess it’s supposed to be a parody of Huntington Beach in California?
2. He reveals that the only way to get her to give them any information about the old burrow is if each of them are able to give her their own piece of valuable information. Benson warns the rest that Dave’s plans can get pretty weird; Well, I don’t expect any less lol.
Tumblr media
3.  As they are making their way up a hill, they overhear somebody calling for Kipo’s name whilst singing and playing a tune on his guitar. They rush over to find out who it is and they see him and three others, dressed in full-on costumes that resemble our main characters. When he addressed the others as “Billions”, I immediately knew that they might be the Newton Wolves from last season?
4.  It looks like they’re re-enacting the part from season 1 episode 5, where Kipo and the rest attacked the wolves after they were trying to hunt them down. Kipo hears this and pops up from behind a van to tell them they’re wrong. They then reveal themselves to be otters!? Oh, I thought they were the wolves lol. Anyways, the leader (I presume?) of the group is Puck and he introduces themselves as the TheaOtters.
Tumblr media
5. Not only are the otters not getting the story of what actually happened right but they also don’t seem to get the names of our heroes right as well because they mistakenly named Benson as Benjamin. They also reveal to our heroes they’ve been invited to perform at Brunchington Beach. How convenient lol! Kipo wants to tag along with them to the brunch cafe but according to them, Cappuccino’s third rule is “No human allowed by penalty of a most gruesome death”, which Dave purposely left out for obvious reasons.
Tumblr media
6. Their performance is about to start in 5 minutes and so, Kipo comes up with a plan to borrow their costumes to keep herself, Wolf and Benson from being exposed to everyone as humans. They reach the brunch spot, in which we see that its patrons are different groups of mutes whom we were introduced to last season and they are stuffing their faces with so much food.
Tumblr media
7. Eventually, Cappuccino, whom I don’t even know what kind of animal-mute she’s supposed to be (a prawn?), spots them and confronts Dave for breaking rule no. 1 the last time he was there, which was not paying for the bunch of food he had ate. She then “sentences” him to 10 years of dish duty.
8. Cappuccino turns her attention to the rest and they’re trying hard to convince her and everyone else that they’re just there to perform their one-act show.  Ughh and Kipo then asks Cappuccino if she knows about a human burrow that was destroyed 13 years ago, which is basically her parents’ burrow. But because of rule no. 2, they need to tell her any valuable or juicy piece of information first.

9. Meanwhile, Dave finds himself stuck in the kitchen with the one and only Jamack! He’s also trapped in there because he stole their food as well. Jamack tells Dave that he could’ve been thriving by Scarlemagne’s side right now but instead, he chose to save Kipo and the rest. He then finds out from Dave that Kipo’s also here and his reaction is precious; Kipo has definitely struck a chord with him. He then decides to break himself out to help Kipo just because he doesn’t want his sacrifice to go to waste.

10. The performance is about to start but the audience is already booing them. Wow, tough crowd. But wait, what I don’t get is why are the two Fitness Raccoons booing at them when Puck introduced the crowd to the costumed Kipo, Benson and Wolf as humans. Aren’t the raccoons supposed to be on their side? Especially after saving them all from Beak Beak? I wonder if the writers realize this? Or am I missing something?
11. The performance begins and Puck is singing about the Newton Wolves and how they came across the humans, painting the latter (which in this case, it’s Kipo and the others) in a negative light.
12. Back to Dave and Jamack; Jamack asks Dave to sneak into the kitchen next door to grab keys from the chef to set themselves free. After going through some “evolutionary” difficulties, he manages to get them.

13. After the show, everyone including Cappuccino all seem to love it. But as Kipo takes a bow after being complimented, her headpiece falls out and her face gets exposed. Oh no! Their cover is blown. Cappuccino then orders her minions to toss them to Harriet, which looks like some big, scary sea creature of some sort. Luckily for them, Jamack saves them by attacking the minions with his long tongue. And Kipo is so happy to see him.

14. Just as they’re about to make their escape, they notice a group of Scarlemagne’s nobles flying towards them and landing at the brunch place. One of them, Gerard announces that Scarlemagne is looking for Cappuccino because he wants her to be the caterer of his coronation as well as being his permanent one forever. Not only that, everyone else is invited to his coronation next week and they’re all forced to come or else, they would have to face some consequences.
15. However, Cappuccino isn’t willing to work for Scarlemagne because she believes he has no right to control the other mutes and rules their territories, including hers. But of course, the nobles won’t listen to her and they threaten her and her minions. But RIP to that one minion who was eaten by the Mega Flamingo.

16. Whilst everybody else is willing to walk the other way, Kipo doesn’t want to turn her back on Cappuccino and the others despite trying to feed them to Harriet earlier. And so, she and the others go out to confront the nobles. During the battle, Kipo gets grabbed by two of the flamingos but she then manages to transform her legs into jaguar ones and overpower them. It also seems like she’s beginning to lose control of herself.

17. She then leaps onto Gerard’s flamingo and as she is almost about to tear his face off with her claws, Wolf asks her to stop to which she listens. Gerard takes this opportunity to attack her and push her off the flamingo. Luckily, Wolf saves her but they fall into Harriet’s mouth but Kipo is strong enough to get them out. They realize that the more Kipo transforms into a jaguar, the more she loses herself, essentially proving the Chevre sisters’ theory to be true. She definitely need to get to the old burrow asap.

18. After witnessing the entire thing, Puck tells them that he will change their performance and make it so that Kipo and her friends will be portrayed as heroes. He’s even impressed with Jamack fighting skills and wonders if he’s interested in teaching stage combat.

19. As he and Puck are walking off, Kipo wonders if he would like to join them on their journey to which he says absolutely not. For a second there, especially when I saw this part (from the picture above), I thought Dave liked Jamack lol. He heads off but I’m very sure we will see him again soon.
20. Cappuccino (who finally tells us that she’s a shrimp) is willing to tell them where the location of the old burrow is and so, she draws a map and hands it over to Kipo as a thank you gesture. She even offers them a free brunch meal before they go!
Tumblr media
21. But it looks like Kipo is starting to lose control of her powers even more because she instantaneously transforms herself into part-jaguar when she’s eating her pasta, despite not having said “herbs in”. Wolf is right; They need to find that anchor NOW.
22. That’s the end of my review of episode 3. Hope you enjoyed reading it. Stay tuned tomorrow for my review of episode 4. Thanks for all your support. Bye!
