Long story short and fast, my ex would habitually talk about all the characters she wanted to get bent over by and have her brains fucked out by, such as Ch/ar Gu/ndam and Mo/kou Touh/ou. This was all the opposite of a problem for me, I really don't mind that, but also, back then, I used to be very reserved about my own desires online, I would post anything resembling horny maybe twice a year if you can believe it, so I didn't really share on my side. One day, I had a very sexual dream involving N/ue because I do find her design really good and good looking, so I shared that thinking she'd be cool with it, as I'd been cool with everything she said on a daily basis like that, and the response I got was "yeah ok whatever but it was only a dream, right? Involuntary, you don't really feel that way, right?" which was really weird to me, but more than that, incredibly irksome because I thought that was really unfair.

Based on that experience, a seed of suspicion arose towards her in me, so I started being slightly more overt with these things, and it pissed her off every time I admitted attraction to anyone except her blatant self-insert character, 2/hu Kag/uya, which in turn started pissing me off because it was such a blatant double standard. It led to fights that ended up revealing to me her real character, which I did not love, and not for lack of trying, and eventually it led to the break up.

Of course, the break up wasn't just about which fictional characters we wanted to fuck or get fucked by, there were a lot of other things, too heavy to casually comment about here, but the first cracks that led to everything else did in fact show because I think Nu/e is attractive.

Yeah can I get a mugen original variation of a character with a an actual character from an unrelated franchise

So people who've followed me for a while may know that I like to post "Mugen Story" videos from Nico Nico Douga.

Some of these videos are a bit influential in stuff people would draw. There's one called "Chain of Hearts", which focuses on Tsukihime characters plus some others. In the story, Satsuki Yumizuka falls in love with Sachiel, an OC by Rikard. There's a Mugen Guild thread where Rikard found out a bit. Sachiel was a fairly popular character, possibly as a result.

You can find a good bit of fanart, most of it by a few people, on Pixiv. In fact, one artist posts new art every Valentines Day including today.

This art is from 2012, though the artist apparently took it down, it was used in the openings for the series.

My issue with the ps3 art is none of the intense expressions carry the same impact. Ryukishi07 took the phrases "face twisted up in rage" and "face twisted up in sadness" to heart

that’s very true! Ryukishi really mastered the expressions in his original sprites and ps3 sprites really pale in comparison

So I watched Action Button Reviews Tokimeki Memorial, but now I wanna ask if I should play it (using the fan translation). I intended to before watching the review, but the review made it sound like a more intensive experience than I expected and one where I could end up in a fail state fairly easily. But that's just what I guessed from all the bombs and managing expectations, so I defer to the expertise of the only tokimeki poster I know of in asking am I too fearful of this dating sim?

I think I’m about to reveal the most shocking twist in this blog’s history…

Despite my profuse love of Shiori Fujisaki, I’ve never actually played Tokimeki Memorial. Nor do I ever intend to (for weird, personal reasons; tldr, I like action button reviews’ version of Shiori so much that I can never play the game. I have too many thoughts and feelings about her that playing the game would feel like betraying everything I love about my tragic cyberpunk girl. Once again, this is entirely my own weird personal hang ups, and I’m aware how insane this sounds saying it out loud without full context).

That being said, to answer your actual question, I must pose you another question: what kind of experience do you want to get out of the game? As far as I’m aware, all the other girls have far easier ending requirements than Shiori, so if you want to romance any of them, it should be an easier time. If you’re okay with not being an experiential purist, then you can use save states to make life easier, or even look up guides online if you’re comfortable with that (although I’m not sure how many English language resources are out there, but surely there’ll be a few thanks to the new fan translation releasing). Or if you’re dedicated to reenacting the true experience, are you cool with potentially ‘losing’ ~8hrs of your time just playing by ear and seeing how far you get, kicking back and having some fun, or mentally planning out how you might do better next time?

Without having played it myself, I can only speculate how difficult the bomb system is, but I don’t think it would be too difficult to get *a* good ending with one of the girls (like the phone dude’s little sister, who has super high affection for you, or library girl who seems rather easy to predict the best choices for). But once again, if you’re comfy with it, I’m sure there’s some less-spoilery ‘tips and tricks’ guides out there you can read before playing. Maybe even give ‘em a read and see if it still sounds intimidating after that?

The world is your oyster, my friend. Go forth and romance some cute girls or die trying (and have a laugh as the bombs detonate and all your carefully laid plans fall to ruin). If you so dare, you might even try your hand at winning the heart of the bestest girl of all, the mighty queen herself, Ms Fujisaki 💖

They took issue when I RIFGHTFULLY called thiss BACKWATER, UNEDUCATED, RACE TRAITOR a "Monkey" (yeah I did it again!!!).
