KiriDeku Week Day 7
Prompt: Parties
Izuku shouldn’t have been so nervous about this. They’ve been dating for two years now, and stuff like this is logical, right? Eijirou would definitely say yes; they’ve basically been living together for two years now, so he had nothing to worry about.
Even if Izuku knew this, he still had stupidly put this question off way too long. It had been weeks since he decided to ask, and now it’s their graduation party, and they only have a week before they move out of the dorms. Izuku was lucky Eijirou was just planning on staying with his parents for a while; if he had already made plans, he’d be screwed.
Izuku, on the other hand, already had an apartment picked out and was set to move into his new home in only two weeks. All he had to do was march up to his boyfriend and ask him to move with him. It sounded so easy in principle, but Izuku really struggled to do it.
This was one of his last chances, and it seemed fitting to do it here. They were celebrating endings and new beginnings, so the party felt like a good place to ask. Izuku just had to take a page from his boyfriend and be manly about it.
Izuku saw Eijirou hanging out by the snack table; he was currently giving Katsuki a noogie while quirked up to handle the explosion to the face. He was very indicative of their friendship, and it warmed Izuku’s heart. The redhead looked up and his mischievous smile melted into something soft and fond. A smile meant only for Izuku.
This finally gave him a bit of confidence. He walked over to Eijirou, who dropped his hold on Katsuki to focus all of his attention on Izuku.
“Hey babe, what’s up?”
“Can we go talk for a second?” Izuku asked, with a shy smile and fidgety fingers as he played with his own hands.
Eijirou would have been worried if he hadn’t learned his boyfriend’s body language right now. Whatever he wanted to talk about was at least positive but made him nervous. He didn’t want to get his hopes up, but god, he hoped Izuku asked him to move in with him already.
It had been eating away at Eijirou the last few weeks; he had even turned down offers from his friends to stay available to move into Izuku’s apartment with him. The redhead really didn’t want to live with his parents, though. He wanted to live with Izuku.
Eijirou wanted to have lazy mornings, late movie nights, and nice walks in the afternoon. He wanted to get a dog or a cat and cook dinners together. He wanted all of the domestic bliss; he only had to get Izuku to ask him to move in.
The redhead threw an arm over his boyfriend’s shoulder and ushered him out the front door to walk around campus. Izuku slid an arm around him and put his hand in Eijirou’s back pocket. They were perfectly comfortable, so the redhead could only hope Izuku could get through the nerves and finally ask.
“I have a question I want to ask you, but I don’t want you to feel like you have to say yes, or even answer right now!”
Eijirou held him a little tighter but still chuckled at this flustered boyfriend. “I don’t think you could ever make anyone feel pressured to do anything, you’re just too cute.”
“Ei! I’m serious!”
“I know, man. I’m just teasing,” Eijirou said as he turned to kiss his cheek. “Now, what do you want to ask?”
“I’ve been meaning to ask for a while, but I never got a good opportunity! But this party is like a new door opening for us. So, I wanted to know if you would, uhm, move in with me?”
“I’d love to, baby!”
Eijirou swooped down and pressed his lips to Izuku’s. It was full of happiness and excitement as they both pulled away with a laugh.
“That was awfully fast. You sure you don’t want to think about it?”
“I’ve been thinking about it for weeks. There’s no way I could never say not to you anyway.”
They were staring fondly into each other’s eyes as they got back to the UA dorms. The others teased them for their cheesy looks and sappy smiles. But the party turned to one celebrating not only graduation but their futures’ together.

Kirishima Eijirou was hanging around the school where local bullies were rumored to take pocket money from students.
They ended up getting rough with him and putting him in the hospital as well, needing basic treatment.
From their, the two's pathes intertwined for better or for worse.

Into the Forest, for You-
Into The Forest, For You- by The Fence Around A Cemetery
Kirishima Eijirou was a city boy, well, until he wasn't. He loved being in close proximity to all of his friends and being just a few minutes away from the nearest combini.
However, that didn't mean that he didn't enjoy the country all the same. He certainly made the best of it! Kirishima found a good group of friends who made him feel loved and didn't knock him for not being as rough n tumble as most country boys were... well for the most part. They still tried to convince Kirishima that their little town was haunted in some way, shape, or form, but it was fun.
Even if their town was haunted, who said that was a bad thing?

KiriDeku Week Day 4
Prompt: Waiting
Eijirou had never been more tired of waiting in his life. Sitting here at the airport was going to kill him, or his fingernails. At this point, he might chew them off in his impatience. He’d already been here 30 minutes, and Izuku landed 40 minutes ago. He should be exiting the terminal already, right?
He didn’t know how long he could handle this without getting up and pacing. Eijirou knew he couldn’t do that, though. There were tons of people already nervously eyeing the hero, concerned he was there on hero business. If he started acting nervous now, people would only worry more.
No, he had to sit and wait for his husband and try to be patient.
It had been a long four months that they’d been apart, and the waiting every night for him to come home had been killing him. They were going to start their family before Izuku was called away to teach special students in America. Eijirou didn’t want to wait for anything anymore. He wanted his husband home, in his arms, and moving forward with their lives.
Hell, even just sitting here waiting for him now, was going to drive him completely insane.
But then, Eijirou jumped quickly out of his seat when he saw Izuku moving through the crowd. His husband looked around, clearly looking for him but hadn’t spotted him yet.
Izuku couldn’t spot him anywhere, he desperately searched for a glimpse of his red hair, but no matter how hard he looked, he couldn’t find him in this sea of people. He just wanted to be pulled into Eijirou’s arms again, and he was sick of this separation.
The redhead soaked up the view, just taking in the man in front of him. He looked exactly the same as he did when they stood in this very spot and said their goodbyes a few months ago.
Izuku was just as beautiful as Eijirou remembered, and somehow even more so at the same time.
The redhead couldn’t hold himself back any longer.
“Zuzu! I’m over here!”
Izuku’s head whipped around so fast, and his face lit up with the happiest smile Eijirou had seen in ages.
It was like a cheesy scene in a movie. They ran to each other across the airport and collided with each other. Arms grasped tightly as tears flowed freely down their faces.
“Eiji! I missed you so much,” Izuku cried. He gripped desperately to the back of the shirt, desperately holding onto his husband. “This was hell. We’re never doing this again.”
“Hell no, babe. Neither of us is ever going anywhere for more than a few weeks ever again.”
Izuku pulled out of the hug and slid his arms down to hold Ejjirou’s hands. “Don’t worry, I’m not planning any big trips like this again any time soon..”
“You better not. How am I supposed to go this long without seeing the manliest and prettiest dude I’ve ever met?”
Izuku laughed, “I’m sure it was torture.” Then his voice softened, “I know it was for me.”
Eijirou heard the longing in his voice and bent down to kiss him. It was slow and purposeful, and the redhead savored it. After not having Izuku’s lips on his for so long, the redhead knew he could never rush it.
“Waiting on you to come home was torture,” Eijirou said when he pulled away.
“No more waiting, baby. I don’t think I could handle it either. Plus, we’ve got so much we can do and accomplish now that we’re together again!”
Izuku continues to mumble on about all of his plans and thoughts for the two of them. His voice soothed every ache Eijirou’s heart had felt while his husband was away, and after months he finally felt at peace again. With Izuku by his side, talking a mile a minute, Eijirou knew everything would be just fine.

KiriDeku Week Day 1
Prompt: Distance
When Izuku answered the zoom call, he already felt a million times more at ease. Seeing his husband’s big smile through the computer was already doing away with all of his stress.
“Hey baby!” Eijirou cheered. “How’s my favorite sensei?”
Izuku matched his husband’s smile with one of his own. “Much better now that you’re here; I had such a bad day.” Izuku’s face faded to a pout for emphasis, to get a little extra sympathy from Eijirou.
“What happened?”
“One of the university students hit on me! It was so forward, Eiji! She came up to my desk, bent over to try to make me look down her shirt, and she asked me if I had considered trying out a woman lately!” An embarrassed blush spread across his freckled cheeks as his volume increased steadily until he was practically shrieking.
Eijirou wanted to be sympathetic, really he did, but he couldn’t help but let out a boisterous laugh. “I’m really so sorry, but that’s so funny.”
“It was humiliating. I got so nervous I didn’t even respond for like at least a few minutes. She just stood there, trying to flash me!”
“So, what’d you do?”
“I told her I had a husband in Japan and that I would never consider being with anyone else. Especially a student! I don’t know where she got all this gusto. Then she just giggled at me and walked out of the room!”
“That was a really manly way to turn someone down! But, I’m sorry you got stressed, Zuzu. I’m sure she’ll back off, though!”
Izuku let out a sigh and rested his head in hands as he took a minute to enjoy his husband’s soothing words. “You’re right, I’m just stressed. I miss you so much, and teaching this temporary course is so much harder than I thought it would be!”
He began to raise his voice, and Izuku couldn’t help himself from waving his hands around as he got more and more stressed. “I mean, the students are great, but they have so many questions! What if I can’t live up to their expectations? What if I give them a poor view of heroics from other countries? What if one of them tries to seduce me?”
Izuku paused and looked up at his husband. Eijirou was looking on with so much fondness in his eyes, and his sweet little smile practically melted Izuku’s heart.
“I just- I want to come home, Ei.”
“I know, the semester only has four more weeks left, then you can come home. Soon, I’ll be scooping you into my arms at the airport, and you can see everyone.”
Izuku grumbled something, but Eijirou missed it. “What was that, babe?”
“I said I don’t care about everyone else. I just want to see you.”
“That’s a lie, you’ll definitely cry when you see your mom or Katsuki.”
Izuku rolled his eyes, “You’re not supposed to call me out on that kind of stuff when I’m trying to express how much I miss you.”
“I know, but hey, shouldn’t you be going to sleep?”
“Yes, but I needed to hear your voice.”
“How about you fall asleep while I tell you all about what Denki and Katsuki’s little girl did today while I babysat here?”
Izuku yawned and carried his laptop over to his bed. “That sounds good. Let me get into bed.”
He set Eijirou up on the other side of the bed and crawled into his usual side. It felt so cold and empty with only one person in it, and Izuku hated how used to it he had gotten. He can’t wait for four weeks from now when he can finally sleep next to the love of his life.
“You know, if you need extra incentive to sleep, we can do something else? That always puts you to bed,” Eijirou said, playfully bouncing his eyebrows.
Izuku was already starting to fall asleep as he mumbled back, “Not tonight, I’m a sleepy baby.”
Eijirou smiled and began to tell Izuku all about their little Niece’s adventures of the day. Even after Izuku had fallen asleep, Eijirou stayed on the phone a bit. He went about his own routine while listening to his husband snore. He regularly looked over to the zoom tab to see his cheek squished into the pillow and a small smile on his lips.
He looked absolutely adorable, and Eijirou couldn’t believe how much he missed him. It had only been a few months, and in the grand scheme of things, that was such a small amount of time in their now 10 ten year marriage.
It would be unmanly if Eijirou tried to lie about how much he missed his husband. So he made sure to tell him every day until he finally got to sweep him off his feet at the airport terminal.

KiriDeku Week Day 2
Prompt: Training
Izuku and Eijirou loved this time of night. It was 8 pm, and it was time to tuck their twins into bed for the night. It had been an exciting day at grandma’s house for them, and they were pooped out.
However, no matter how tired they were, they could never sleep without a bedtime story from their fathers. It often consisted of all four of them jumping in their parents’ bed, and they would tell the kids wonderful stories until they both fell asleep in between their dads. Then Izuku and Eijirou would pick up their kiddos and tuck them into their own rooms for the night.
It was a tried and true method, and both the children and their parents loved that part of their routine.
Izuku and Eijirou climbed into their own sides of the bed, and Shurui and Yūki climbed in after them. They snuggled in between their dads and propped themselves up on all of the pillows.
“Daddy, what are you going to tell us tonight?” Yūki asked, with stars in his eyes as he stared up at Izuku.
“I don’t know. What would you guys like to hear about tonight?”
Both kids sat silently for a bit, trying to decide what they wanted to hear about from their parents’ past. Then, Shuri spoke up.
“I know,” she cheered. “Can you tell us about when you guys fell in love?”
“Sure, angel. It’ll be a story from our UA days, then, is that ok?”
“Yes, daddy!”
“Alright, why don’t we have Papa start out?” Izuku looked over at Eijirou with an encouraging smile and a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.
“Alright, well, it all started out when we were training…”
——————
Eijirou was walking into the gym late that night, expecting it to be alone. Most of 2-A were already happily passed out in bed, but the redhead had a ton of homework to finish up and was only now making it in for extra training.
However, as he walked in, he found Izuku lying in the middle of the sparring area, mumbling about something.
This wasn’t his normal mumbling, however. Izuku sounded frustrated and angry, and he was clearly distraught about something, but Eijirou couldn’t tell what from this distance.
He was never one to leave a friend alone, though, so he made his way over to Izuku and plopped down on the floor next to him.
“Hey man, you alright?”
Izuku jumped a bit like he hadn’t heard him lay down. He looked upset, but he quickly schooled his face into his typical ‘don’t-worry-about-me’ smile that was already familiar to the whole class.
“Hi, Eijirou! I’m fine! Just frustrated with a new move for my shoot-style.”
“Do you want to work on it? I haven’t trained yet, and I could totally benefit from working with one of the manliest sparring partners at UA!” Eijirou beamed over at Izuku, he knew he was laying it on a little thick, but the genuine look of gratitude from the other boy made it worth it.
“That would be great, actually. I really appreciate it.”
“No problem! Just give me a minute to stretch!”
Eijirou jumped off the mat and started his stretching routine, having no idea Izuku couldn’t take his eyes off him. He’d had it bad for the redhead for ages now, and he knew this would do nothing for him. But he needed the help, and Eijirou was a great partner, always encouraging and determined. He was precisely what Izuku needed.
Izuku took a moment to do his own stretches, also totally clueless that the redhead had to stop himself from choking when Izuku bent over in his leggings. Eijirou couldn’t believe he had an opportunity to train with basically the strongest guy in class, and he looked so good in those leggings he thought he might explode.
Eijirou gulped and tried to steady himself before calling out to his friend. “Alright, you ready?”
“I am! Let’s do this!”
They both fell into their spar after that. The two worked their asses off and worked for what felt like hours. Their adrenaline was high, and determination even higher as they trained. Sweat dripped off brows, and eventually, they ended up in a precarious position.
Izuku was on top of Eijirou after having pinned him, and he was too tired to get off right away. Both their chests heaved, and they painted desperately, trying to catch their breath.
But then, they locked eyes. Their hearts were pounding in their chests with adrenaline from both the fight and their proximity. Really, they should have never expected a different outcome.
Izuku dove down, and Eijirou rose up to meet him. Lips locked in a sloppy kiss with equal parts passion and affection. It was over quickly, though, when rational thought finally returned.
Izuku jumped off of Eijirou, both so surprised. They remained silent and then panicked almost simultaneously.
Izuku practically squealed, “Oh my god! I’m so sorry, Eijirou! I didn’t mean to do that without permission! I was just excited, and you’re so amazing and-“
“Shit, dude! I totally should have asked first, but you were all hot and heavy on top of me, and holy shit I couldn’t stop-“
They both stopped, realizing what the other person was saying as they just stare for a moment.
“Wait, Izu, did you just say I’m amazing?” Eijirou asked.
“Oh, uhm, yeah.”
“Right, cool, and you meant that like so amazing you wanted to kiss me?”
“Uhm, yes, I did,” Izuku answered.
“Right. Cool. Very cool.”
“Wait, Eijirou, you called me hot?”
“Yeah, I sure did, didn’t I?”
“Oh, well, that’s nice then.” Izuku smiled at him, it was shy, but it was full of so much more emotion Eijirou had never noticed before. So, he decided to shoot his shot.
He scratched at the back of his neck and took a deep breath to settle himself for the big question. “Would you want to go to that ice cream place off-campus after class tomorrow? Like as a super manly ice cream date?”
Izuku’s eyes widened, and his hands shot out to squeeze one of Eijirou’s. “I would love to,” he said.
A blush spread on both their cheeks as they both were so pleased they decided on late training on the same night.
——————
Both kids were happily asleep between their dads. Snoring away and cuddled into the bed.
“You know, they’ll be pissed we put them to bed,” Eijirou said, looking at Izuku with big pleading eyes.
“Don’t be silly, Ei. The kids need their own beds tonight after their day at my mom’s. They’ll be fine.”
“I know, but they’re so cute like this.”
Izuku leaned over his kids to press a kiss to Eijirou’s cheek. “I know, but they need to be in their rooms. You’re as bad as they are sometimes, I swear.”
Eijirou chuckled and climbed out of bed, scooping Yūki into his arms as Izuku scooped up Shurui.
“I can’t help it if we have cute kids.”
“I know, the cutest. They get that from you,” Izuku said.
“That’s bullshit, man. You’re the cute one they take after, and I couldn’t be luckier.”

KiriDeku Week Day 5
Prompt: Laughing
This had to be the worst quirk he’s ever been hit with. Eijirou would rather take a million explosions to the face before subjecting himself to something like this. It was practically psychological torture, and the world was so lucky the person was on their side.
Out on his work-study with Fat Gum, he had slammed right into a police officer at the sight of a villain attack. Then the detective’s quirk triggered.
Now, Eijirou couldn’t tell a lie without laughing for the next 48 hours.
What’s even worse than that? His class found out about it way too quickly.
So far, the most embarrassing thing to happen was when Denki asked if Aizawa was his favorite teacher, in front of him! Eijirou tried to lie and say yes, but he burst into a laughing fit that had the whole class laughing at him. Aizawa, however, had just rolled his eyes and snuggled further into this sleeping bag.
Eijirou was hopeful that would be the worst thing until the next day, of course.
Eijirou was sitting in the common room, sitting with Izuku and Katsuki while they tried to help with the newest math lesson. It was going well, and they were reasonably safe to be around. Izuku was too kind to take advantage of it, and Katsuki really just didn’t give a shit.
He should have known that spending any amount of time with his crush was a mistake, even if Izuku was a sweetheart. Eijirou really realized this when he saw Mina’s mischievous smile from across the room.
She sauntered over to them, and the redhead knew he was screwed.
“Hey, Kiri! How are the lessons going?”
“They’re going great, man! I at least get it a little more than I did.” Eijirou sighed out in relief that at least none of that was a lie.
“Oh yeah, who’s helping you more?” Mina asked.
Izuku tried to look disinterested, but he looked at Eijirou from the corner of his eye. Katsuki was still wholly disinterested and wasn’t shy about making it known.
“Stop fucking with Shitty Hair while we try to do homework.”
“Aw, come on. That’s no fun.”
Eijirou scratched at the back of his neck, trying to keep his cool. “It’s not really a big deal, they’re both helpful.”
He didn’t laugh, and Eijirou was surprised to hear a sigh of relief from Izuku.
“Well, who’s your favorite?”
“I don’t have a favorite!” Eijirou said without thinking, before the quirk activated and forced a laugh out of him.
“Ooooooo, that must have been a lie. I bet you’ve even got a crush on one of them!”
Eijirou was too flustered now to think properly. “I don’t have a crush on them!”
They all fell silent when the redhead’s peel of laughter echoed throughout the common room. Mina, ever the gossip queen, had stars in her eyes. Eijirou knew she’d never let it go.
“I bet it’s Katsuki! His arms in his hero costume look hot as hell.”
Eijirou was a lot of things, but being the kind of person who thinks before speaking wasn’t one of them.
“No way! I would never have a crush on Bakubro. He’s my bro!”
He didn’t laugh, and simultaneously everyone realized what that means. His crush on Izuku had been outed to the whole class.
Eijirou really wished that he had thought one through. He wanted to leave, hide in his room from his embarrassment, but he knew that wouldn’t be manly. Plus, he wasn’t ashamed he had a crush on Izuku. He was an amazing guy. He was kind, strong as hell, and was definitely one of the best heroes Eijirou had ever seen. He hadn’t intended on confessing like this, or at all, really, but it was too late for that.
“Yes, I have a crush on Mido. It’s not a big deal, though!” Eijirou turned to Izuku, with a blush across his cheeks and hands gripping at the hem of his shirt. “It’s totally fine if you don’t feel the same! It wouldn’t be very manly of me to make you feel like you had to like me too or something.”
“No! I definitely don’t feel like I have to, I just do!” Izuku shouted as he stood up and slammed his hands down on the table. A blush quickly spread across his cheeks, rivaling even the color of Eijirou’s hair.
“Oh, uhm, would you want to watch a movie in one of our rooms then tonight? Like just us?” Eijirou asked.
A sweet smile graced Izuku’s lips, “I would really like that.”

KiriDeku Week Day 3
Izuku was so nervous he thought he might pass out. This will be one of the biggest nights in his life, and even if he knows it will probably be fine, he can’t help all the anxious energy making his heart race.
Tonight, Izuku was going to propose to Eijirou.
As far as Eijirou knew, this was a totally normal night to go flying. They did this all the time, so really, it didn’t seem like anything special. Izuku would scoop him up into his arms and jump off into the air. The rush of the wind and the city below them was terrifying, but the arms around him always made him feel safe. He knew Izuku would never drop him.
But tonight, when they jumped into the sky, he was shaking. Eijirou still trusted him with his life, but it made him a bit uneasy.
“Baby, what’s going on? Why are you shaking?”
“It’s nothing! I just should have worn a bigger coat, that’s all. It’s so cold up here at night.”
“I know, man. I’ll just snuggle in closer,” Eijirou said. He wrapped his arms around Izuku’s neck and buried his head in his chest.
He wanted to look out at the city while Izuku flew them. But if his boyfriend needed him to hold him, then Eijirou would happily do it.
“Hey, it’s fine. I know you like to watch the city and the cold is already getting better! I promise I’m fine.”
Izuku beamed down at him and held him a little tighter. His arms were already sturdier, and the shivering had faded, so Eijirou turned to look out at the city.
Tokyo was beneath them now. They weren’t high enough up for the air to be thin, but they were high enough up that they couldn’t see any people below.
Eijirou loved this part. He loved feeling like the only people on the planet were just him and Izuku. The city lights below them were beautiful, and the vast array of colors and buildings looked so beautiful they looked like a piece of art.
Then, the redhead felt Izuku take a deep breath and press a kiss to his temple.
“I need you to do me a favor. There’s a little box in my coat pocket. Can you unzip it and pull it out?”
Eijirou did as he was told, and he felt the air punched out of his lungs when he saw the small velvet jewelry box he pulled out of Izuku’s coat pocket. He looked up, and the earnest look of love on Izuku’s face was so beautiful it was soul-shattering.
“I love you, Eijirou. You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I want to spend every day of my life showing you how much I love you. Even if that means flying you up here every night, no matter how cold it is. So I want to know, will you marry me?”
Eijirou didn’t say anything for a bit, totally shell-shocked. He just stared at Izuku.
“You know, uhm, usually people would open the box now and give me an answer.”
Eijirou followed along and opened it up, and he saw a beautiful platinum ring with two inlaid stones. They were a green and white diamond, and they looked just like the colors from Izuku’s hero costume.
“I’ve picked one out for me too. It matches except the diamonds are red and black like your hero costume,” Izuku said.
Eijirou was still not sure he was really understanding. Izuku wanted to marry him? Why? He was the most perfect and manliest person on the planet, and he wanted Eijirou?
“Wait, you really want to marry me?”
“Of course, I do! I love you, Eiji.” Izuku beamed down at him. He sounded so honest like he had never had any doubts that the redhead was the man he wanted to marry.
The adoration and devotion in his emerald eyes finally gave Eijirou the courage to answer him.
He breathed out a deep sigh and finally smiled back at Izuku. “Hell yeah, I’d love to marry you, Zuku.”
Their lips slotted together, with a slow kiss that spread warmth and love through both of them. They pulled back and looked down at the lights below them. The city was beautiful, but tonight, they’d rather look at each other.

KiriDeku Week Day 6
Prompt: Power Cut
The weekend had been so quiet. Izuku and Eijirou were the only two who didn’t go home to visit family, so they got plenty of time for the two of them. They went on an ice cream date, studied, and trained together. It was wonderfully relaxing, and the young couple had a blast.
The last night before everyone returned, though, they definitely made a mistake. They decided to watch a scary movie together.
It got even worse when the movie reached its climax. The ghost had just murdered someone new, and the jump scare had driven Izuku into Eijirou’s lap. He was curled into the redhead’s chest, finally feeling safe.
But then a massive crack of lightning and thunder shook the building, and the power in the dorms was gone. They were plunged into darkness, and fear crawled it’s way up their spines.
“Eiji, the power is out!”
“I know, Zu. It’s ok, though! Nothing is going to happen.”
Thunder cracked again, and they both jumped. They got impossibly closer as they cowered in the dark. “I don’t like this at all. We should have never watched a scary movie.”
“It’s ok, it wouldn’t be very manly of me if I didn’t make you feel safe!” Eijirou tried to puff up his chest and hold Izuku close, but then the dorms’ front door slammed open. The redhead screamed and immediately burrowed his head into Izuku’s neck.
They were both trembling, but when Izuku finally peeked over the back of the couch, nothing was there, and the front door was closed. He turned back to address his boyfriend, but there was a figure there.
Izuku’s quirk activated, and he bolted across the room, with Eijirou in his arms.
“Wait, little listeners!”
Present Mic was standing there, soaked from the rain, with a flashlight lighting up his apologetic small. “Didn’t mean to scare you guys, just wanted to tell everyone the lightning knocked out the power and it won’t be fixed until morning.”
“Oh, thank you, sensei.”
Izuku put Eijirou back on the floor, and the redhead shifted back and forth. They were both blushing after freaking out so bad.
Hizashi tried not to laugh at them, “Well, will you guys be alright?”
“Yes! We should be fine. Thank you for coming to check on us!”
“No problem, kiddos!”
Hizashi left after that, and the two boys let out a sigh of relief. The rest of the night, they tried to spend time in the common room, but all the shadows and noises were terrifying. Eventually, Izuku couldn’t take it anymore.
“Eiji, can we go to one of our rooms or something? I don’t like being out here in the open common room.”
“Yeah, come on, scaredy cat.”
“Scaredy cat?? You screamed too.”
They continued to bicker as they wandered up to Eijirou’s dorm room. They both changed into some of the redhead’s pajamas and climbed into bed. Izuku really thought he’d get better, but every creak from the building and thunder had him gripping tighter onto his boyfriend.
But then, Eijirou started to sing. They were just common pop songs, nothing terribly profound or romantic, but his voice drowned out the rest of the world, and Izuku melted into him. He felt so safe in the redhead’s arms, and it was lulling him to sleep.
Izuku wasn’t even thinking; he was only feeling. His boyfriend was the sweetest, manliest boy he’s ever met. Even if they’ve only been together a few months, Izuku just knew.
“I love you, Eiji.”
Eijirou was shocked, but the pounding in his chest wasn’t from fear anymore. Izuku had already drifted off to sleep once he got his thoughts together, but the redhead kissed his forehead and whispered back, “I love you too, Zuku.”

Autumn in Spring's Coffee Shop
Autumn In Spring's Coffee Shop by The Fence Around A Cemetery
He was hopeless. He really was hopeless. That was why, after all the time he had spent, he was still going two miles out of his way every morning to visit a coffee shop... because he was wooed by the cute barista...
The day they met was like cement in his head, a titanium memory that refused to yield to any force. A songbird's lullaby called out to him in the pouring rain, and it stole his beating heart from his chest-
Yeah, Kirishima Eijirou was a hopeless gay. That much he knew on his own.
