A plot idea I’ve been dying to turn into a full story:

“ Previous Earl Vincent Phantomhive returns home.”

After many years of suffering and longing for his parents, Ciel Phantomhive’s world gets flipped 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 after his father returns home. Suspicions follow, his father was burned to ashes, not a single bone in his body was spared. There is no possible way he could still be alive. So who is this mysterious man who shows up at his front door?

Ciel and his butler’s anxiety increases, as days pass with their questions going unanswered. But all his worries change when Vincent informs him of certain knowledge.

“What if I told you there was a way out of your contract?”

Enough to convince him, Ciel decides to partner with his “father” in hopes of cheating his terrible fate.

A story filled with unexpected turns, angst, and betrayal. An “unbreakable” father/son bond. A well constructed plan, and revenge at it’s best! And not a soul to inform the curious demon of where his fate lies. After all, dead men tell no tales. :}

Lady Hades' car was parked right in front of her manor when she heard noises of someone tapping on her car window, specifically on the driver's side where she was.

Sebastian looked toward the window and saw the figure of Minthe calling for the queen.

❛ ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠! ❜

The Butler narrows his eyes at the red male nymph and the said-❛ 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡.... 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑒? ❜

Mary she shrank back against the driver's seat, looking clearly uncomfortable.

❛ 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡 ❜-Sebastian hummed.

He then narrowed his eyes at the male nymph’s figure

‘ why is he so eager to talk with Mary? ’-Sebastian wondered.

❛ ℎ𝑒𝑦- ❜-The demon noticed the goddess trembling what worried him-❛ 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑜𝑘𝑎𝑦? ❜

❛ ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑠! ❜-The male nymph shouted while the queen looked down.

The black haired demon leaned closer to the queen, placing his hand on the back of the driven’s seat and whispered to her-❛ 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑚𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑎𝑧𝑦, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑖 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 ❜-He then leaned close to her ear, covering the view so Minthe couldn’t see and then whispered into her ear-❛ 𝑑𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑖𝑚? ❜

Mary turned to him and whispered-❛ 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 ❜-She sighed while returning to lean against her seat-❛ 𝑖'𝑚 𝑠𝑜 𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦, 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 ❜

Sebastian looked at the dark queen-❛ 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑙 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑢𝑚𝑏 𝑎𝑠𝑠 ❜-He said softly and then heard the male shout again.

❛ 𝐻𝐴𝐷𝐸𝑆! ❜

The demon then leaned towards the door and pressed the button so that some of the glass would lower and spoke-❛ 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑝 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠' 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑤? ❜-He narrowed his eyes, making them glow a strong color of fuchsia-❛ 𝑦𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑦... ❜

Minthe ignored him completely-❛ ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠, 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑚𝑒? 𝑖 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑐𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑝𝑦 ❜

❛ 𝑖𝑓 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝, 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑒𝑑 ❜-Sebastian growled at him-❛ 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 ❜-And with that he closed the window.

❛ 𝐻𝐸𝑌! ❜-Minthe shouted.

The Butler got out of the car, closing the door, the male river nymph and the demon glared at each other but then Minthe lowered to the window again, talking-❛ 𝑖 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 𝑖'𝑣𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔! 𝑖 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑑, 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑠? ❜

Sebastian walked around the car from behind, his eyes glowing into the blue atmosphere of the underworld, he then grapped Minthe's wrist, the river nymph was way lower than he was and then the demon used it to his advantage to look more scary, letting his dark aura appear around him-❛ 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛, 𝑖𝑓 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑢𝑛𝑠𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠... 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑.... 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤, 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 ❜

Lady hades’ eyes glowed a strong shade of red and her skin and hair began to change color and not far away she could hear Cerberus' heavy footsteps approaching.

That's when he was interrupted by the door opening and closing on the driver's side and Mary's figure appeared, her long auburn hair now was in a shade of baby blue and her skin had small blue spots ans her eyes glowed like rubies.

❛ 𝑦𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔 ❜-She hissed at the male nymph-❛ 𝑖 𝑑𝑜, 𝑎𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑝𝑢𝑡 𝑖𝑡, 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑎 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑖𝑚 ❜-The dark goddess hissed, taking her purse with her.

❛ ℎ𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑠, 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒? ❜-Minthe asked-❛ 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑎𝑙𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢'𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑣𝑜𝑖𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑛 𝑝𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒 ❜

Sebastian raised an eyebrow at the River nymph.

❛ 𝐺𝑂. 𝐻𝑂𝑀𝐸 ❜-The queen growled.

The butler fake a sweet smile at the red nymph and said-❛ 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 𝑤𝑟𝑎𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑢𝑝 ❜

❛ 𝑖'𝑚 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑦𝑜𝑢! ❜-Minthe exclaimed.

❛ 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑎 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑓𝑎𝑢𝑙𝑡 ❜-Sebastian said and then whistled.

❛ 3,2,1.... ❜

And with that the figure of Cerberus appeared, this three heads and glowing blue eyes, who looked quite cheerful when they saw Sebastian and Mary but who soon began to growl at the sight of Minthe.

And with that the guardians of the gates of the underworld chased the river nymph until he was off the property of the queen.

❛ ... 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙, 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 ❜-Sebastian hummed and then turned to Mary who was stroking the blue spots in her skin.

He could hear her thoughts, and what he heard worried him:

‘ Minthe, in the eternity I’ve know you, all you’ve done is take from me. My peace. My joy. My dignity. ‘

He accompanied her toward the doors of her manor, helping her with her long hair, that had grown out of stress.

‘ One day, I hope I can make you feel as afraid of me as I am of you right now. And it is you who can be the one, trembling for words behind a windshield ‘

The queen thanked him for accompanying her that day and then walked into her manor, the heavy doors closing behind her.

‘ This time, I took something from you… ‘

Mary had in her hands a mint plant seed, a smirk was on her lips.

‘ Because this is war ‘
