OH... OH DID I HEAR PUPPYBOY LEON?

puppyboy leon who gets so sad when you have to put him in a cage!! especially when you go out!! he doesn't understand.. he didnt mean to chew on ur shoes while u were gone, he was just so bored! that was when you decided he ultimately needed a cage. you try to give him a nice big comfy cage but he still whines and paws at the bars whenever you put him in there :( he'll try to satisfy his want for you with the soft blanket that smells like you that's in his cage<3 when you come back he's immediately getting up from the nap he was taking (he fell asleep after tossing and turning without you), wagging his tail, barking excitedly for you!!

but it's even worse when you put him in his cage for when he was naughty... catching him going through your laundry :0?? yelling at him telling him he's a bad dog, and he feels so bad he swears he'll never do it again, but it smelt so much like you! and you weren't paying attention to him!! his ears are all droopy pleading with you but you end up having to lock him in there, ignoring him for the rest of the night. it feels like hes gonna die in that cage...

AGSIDHDKDK!!!🥺 the image this gave me is so cute and sad!! him putting things in his crate that smell like you so he’s not so lonely when he’s gone is SOOO SWEET:( poor baby just wants to be comforted by your presence is all!! clings to a random shirt of yours with his face smothered in it and falls asleep like that :(

normally you’d fold when he paws at the bars with sad puppy dog eyes but!! he needs to learn his lesson !! puppies aren’t supposed to go through dirty laundry and chew your dirty panties and socks >:// punishment is punishment. and to make it worse you’re ignoring him. no matter how loud he whines. like he doesn’t even exist! after an hour or so of howling you obviously won’t acknowledge him so he’ll curl up on his tummy and try to go to sleep; he’s grateful his cage is in your bedroom and he can at least watch you sleep, even if it hurts that he’s not in bed with you 😭 <33

The morning sun filters through the windows, painting Zuko’s bedroom golden. For the first time in months, they’re allowed to stay tangled up with each other in bed past sunrise. Sokka traces his fingers up and down Zuko’s arms as Zuko’s lips ghost against his boyfriend’s jawline. For a brief moment, they are allowed to be nothing more than two boys in love.

“Sunshine,” Sokka whispers, and Zuko lifts his head just enough to let his eyes roam over Sokka’s face. Summer has brought out his freckles, and they dot his face like constellations in the night sky. He cups Zuko’s cheek with one hand, then says, “I wish we could stay like this forever.”

Zuko hums in agreement. It would be nice, he thinks, if they had no obligations. If Zuko were not the Fire Lord and Sokka were not travelling constantly—if they lived in a world where they could hold onto each other outside the confines of this bedroom, if the world were not set up to oppose them.

“Me too,” Zuko agrees, then leans in to steal another kiss. “I’d take even just one day. I want to spend the day with you doing nothing.”

“One day,” Sokka muses. “One day of no responsibilities. Just you and me.” He sighs. “Maybe someday. For one whole day, we’ll lock ourselves in this room and do absolutely nothing.”

It’s a nice fantasy, unattainable as it may be. There are always things that require Zuko’s attention, and there are always people unintentionally pulling him and Sokka apart. But maybe one day, when Zuko has established himself as Fire Lord, when the world isn’t still reeling from one hundred years of war, they’ll be able to find a day of peace.

For now, though, Zuko will cherish the few extra minutes they’ve found this morning. It won’t be long before he’s called elsewhere, but until then, he’ll continue to kiss Sokka slowly, like they’ve got all the time in the world, and he’ll be content to have Sokka in his arms as the sunlight pours over them.

"Don't stop now." + Grace/Jane

I did it! I writed them! here are the girls!

The routine was practiced and all but perfected by then. 

On any given Monday morning, Grace went through the same motions. She woke up in some other woman’s bed before any alarm could go off, slipped out from between the sheets, and grabbed her phone to send a text with a location pin so that she didn’t have to run and catch the bus when she didn’t know where the nearest stop even was. From there, she usually had about twenty minutes before the familiar truck parked by the sidewalk, and her best friend would make sure they both got to work on time. 

Except, on this morning, she had barely finished clipping her bra behind her back and pulling her shorts up to her waist before her phone buzzed again. This apartment, it seemed, was closer to everything else in her life than she thought, and it put her in more of a rush than she anticipated.

With a roll of her eyes, Grace hit the button to turn the screen off again. She’d gotten that threat plenty of times, and it had never once been true. If putting them a few minutes behind schedule made her best friend abandon her, she probably never would have even made it out of Afghanistan. Jane loved her coffee, in any form, but not enough to disrupt the routine they’d fallen into in the last few years. Since one night in a hospital, she knew her best friend was never going to abandon her for anything – and maybe she took advantage of that, some days. 

Grabbing her shoes and a shirt from the floor, Grace slipped out of the bedroom and the apartment without a glance back over her shoulder. Barefoot, without even trying to pull the shirt over her head, she dashed across the cool pavement until she could pull open the door of a familiar gray truck. She climbed into the seat as quickly as she could, not bothering to pull the seatbelt across her chest while she tugged her shoes onto her feet. 

“You’re getting bold, Mouse, risking hypothermia so that you don’t have to face someone in the morning.” 

She shook her head with a scoff, turning the shirt over in her hands to find which end she needed to pull over her head. “I’d hardly call this kind of weather a hypothermia risk. Aren’t you supposed to be in a rush, or something? I thought Detective Halstead couldn’t function without her caffeine.” 

“It would be a lot easier to get caffeine if my best friend wasn’t replacing opioids with sex. Or, better yet, if she didn’t text me every week and pull me away from where I’m supposed to be. I have to drop you off at the district and then immediately go to a scene. Thanks to this little detour, I don’t get coffee at all today.” 

Grace pulled the shirt over her head, adjusting it around her chest where it hugged her curves just a little too closely. It wasn’t hers, that much she knew, but it was too big of a risk to go back inside and get the one she’d actually been wearing the night before. “Don’t stop now. Tell me how you really feel.” 

It was the same dance they went through every few months, a script they followed as if any part of it was going to change just because Jane repeated herself. It had happened more often since they started working together, since Grace took up running searches and digging into bank accounts and phone records and pasts for the Chicago PD Intelligence Unit. They spent more time together, which gave her friend more opportunities to give her usual monologue. 

“Haven’t you considered giving this up? How much longer can you keep playing these games before you... I don’t know. Grow up?” The truck started moving at a slow, safe pace in the direction of their district, and Grace looked out the passenger window instead of looking at her friend’s face and the inevitable frustration and disappointment there. “You can’t keep waking up in different beds every weekend, not forever. At some point, you have to get serious. You have this job now, and you can save money for a nicer apartment, and get the fancy veggie dogs you like. You can have a life that you haven’t gotten to live since you were a kid, right? You can be independent and strong and not weigh your worth against what someone thinks when she sees you naked.” 

“My mother didn’t raise me to be independent, remember? My worth is entirely based on what I can do in bed and whether I can provide some rich businessman twice my age with an heir.” 

“Yeah, but your mother isn’t a part of your life anymore.” She froze up when a hand briefly rested on her arm, pulling away subtly without aiming her frown anywhere but the passing buildings. “You can do whatever you want, now. You don’t have to worry about what she wanted for you.” 

“And what if I want to spend my life jumping from bed to bed every weekend?” 

Jane sighed and stayed quiet for a long moment before reaching over to turn on the radio to break up the silence. “Then keep texting me when you’re done so I can make sure you’re not late for work.”

It turns out wooden stakes are surprisingly easy to find. The local hardware store sells them in the town, and James asks for three. When he pays for them, the sales attendant doesn’t even bat an eye and he slips them into his bag alongside his books. They add an extra weight to his shoulder, like a sort-of burden James has imparted upon himself, though he isn’t even sure if they’ll work.

hmmm i do love writing a lot of different characters. for POV, i tend to enjoy writing regulus the most, because i have the most practice with him. i also really like writing james, though, because i think my version of him is a little bit angrier than most and i kinda love that aspect of him <3

these two make me grin from ear to ear, and i also love anything ao3 users tipo (who became my itd beta actually) and used_tissue comment. they always leave in-depth comments with quotes and analysis, and it makes me so incredibly happy.

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

any scene from itd or atib (which is unpublished so i won’t be going in detail about what scenes from there yet) would make me ugly cry. in itd, i would love to see The Kiss SceneTM, regulus playing the cello, regulus’ cello case, anything from the france chapters, n some other spoilery stuff. the upcoming bacchanal from giml is also something i would die for

HEY... hey chi... recently got into jjk and i need to pour out some of my sub gojo thoughts because Oh my god.

constantly thinking about how WHIPPED HE IS!!! i can just imagine him on his knees for u while ur on the couch absentmindedly scrolling through social media. he's just admiring you and his hands caress your thighs, n obviously since he's such a good boy you dont think much of it!! when he rests his head on you and he trails further up, dangerously close, you give him a stern look warning him. no words are exchanged, but he still mumbles something about how he's sorry, and he goes back to just leaving gentle touches, maybe even some kisses :> you tell him not to worry, he'll get a taste later. he perks up almost immediately, looking at you with pleading eyes. maybe later will come sooner than expected teehee

okay i can't keep sharing snippets or i'm gonna end up spoiling all my wips BUT i'm giving u some more info on the nothing happens series (overprotective james) but this time . about reggie

i've spoken about how james isn't self-aware and every shitty thing he does for/bc of regulus isn't done consciously or realising how bad it actually is etc.

regulus tho. he's perfectly aware the WHOLE fucking time.

he gets a crush on james the moment they meet. he tries to dislike him, he really does, mostly out of jealousy bc sirius was supposed to be his. but it doesn't work and he's only 10 when he sees james the first time so he sort of develops this kinda hero worship for him. this grows into him properly liking him and then falling in love, so for example, when the first kiss happens, reg is already completely smitten.

this also means that he understands that what they're doing IS cheating. even if it had been just a little peck, the fact that james hasn't discussed it with his gf first to check if she's fine with it is enough to make the whole thing . wrong . but that's not why reg tries to resist at first or why he keeps telling james no.

he refuses bc it's what he thinks he's supposed to do. james has a girlfriend, they're just friends, and it'd be cheating, which is wrong. but he doesn't really care, because it's james. in fact, when emma finds out and she and james are arguing, he sort of rubs it in her face, the fact that james is taking his side and defending him instead of trying to comfort her.

that's also why the cheating keeps happening on his part. james can't stop bc he doesn't even notice that what he's doing is wrong, and it feels good and reg allows it + enjoys it, so why shouldn't he keep doing it? reg, however, dates other ppl to try and get over james bc he's convinced that james is never going to actually choose him or properly reciprocate his feelings. but the moment james pushes a little, reg gives in immediately without feeling barely any guilt. there's only satisfaction about being the person james comes back to every single time even when he already has someone.

of course, that ends up not being enough.

wait rephrasing the previous ask, what do you think of gohan as a character from buu saga to Z and after.

obsessed with this AND gohan ive loved him since i was 9 i love him so fucking much hes my boy hes my baby hes my favorite db character on anyday when future trunks isnt fighting him for that spot. son gohan my fucking beloved. i think the thing with gohan is that he both likes to fight and doesn't and this fucks up db fans so much. gohan likes to fight casually, he likes martial arts just fine. he just doesn't like it when he's forced to do it because of evil or if causes major death and suffering, and he isn't as obsessed with it as goku and vegeta are (especially goku who he specifically says that he doesn't like fighting the way goku does).

he enjoyed being saiyaman and training goten for the world tournament, both of which were pretty low-stakes for someone like him vs goku who constantly looks for big opponents because he craves that fight to get stronger. his priority isn't to fight for the hell of it, which is totally fine. what i love about him is that even though he doesn't like to fight as much as goku does he WILL step up when needed and that showed in the cell fight and buu saga.

SPEAKING OF BUU SAGA. well mostly saiyaman and world tournament saga. i love gohan during these arcs please it was so much fun to watch him do silly things like be saiyaman and go to high school😭 he and videl are sooo cute and i just love the hilarity that videl falls in love with the kid whose win her dad took credit for HDHDJSJJS hes so silly. i love him.

i do think he was severely underutilized in buu saga especially when he went ultimate vs buu and got his ass kicked. but in hindsight it is kind of funny. in db super he's sidelined again which is sad (i really do not care for goku and vegeta in super anymore JDJDJDHDHDH I WANT MY HALF SAIYANS) but i LOVE what the last movie (dbs super hero) did with him!! with goku and vegeta of course gohan doesn't feel the need to train so rigorously anymore and he can just be a nerd (affectionate) but i like how dbs gives him a reason to keep up, i.e. protecting pan. dbs super hero is def my favorite db movie so far i just 🥺 gohan and his baby girl....

anyway tldr i love gohan and how kind and nerdy he is and even though he doesnt like fighting because of conflict he does step up when needed especially to protect the people he loves. i adore him. one of my forever boys fr. RIP toriyama you will be missed.
