So! I've been working on the My Home(TM) kitchen in Design Home, and I've got it juuuuust about perfect (or as much as it can be within the limited options of design home), but I keep going back and forth on which rug I want. And then I thought, why not ask tumblr? So, behold:

Option 1:

I've always wanted a yellow kitchen, but there was no option to make the walls yellow in design home, so a nice bright yellow rug seems like a good compromise. However, my yellow/multicolor floral accent chair doesn't shine as well against this background.

Option 2:

The blue complements the rest of the kitchen well and gives my table and chairs a solid background to pop against. However, I worry it makes the room too dark and the color palette too cool for my goal of a bright, sunshiney kitchen.

Option 3:

Purple is my favorite color (quelle surprise if you know me at all, lol) and it's a good inbetween tone-wise I think. However, I worry the pattern of this rug is a touch busy.

If you pick the fourth one, you're legally obligated to tell me what rug you're thinking of. Also legal disclaimer that I am not bound by the results of this poll and I'll probably make up my mind on my own eventually, but I'm curious to see how things shake out, and also I lowkey wanted to show off my home designing.

the house isn't completely finished yet so we can't move in until April. we'll have to figure that out. but that's fine. it's in the town where my husband works! which is amazing.

I wasn't at the viewing but I saw pictures. #it's a ground floor apartment which we wanted. it's near some shops. it's a 30 minute walk to his work #I'm just. ahh I'm so happy that we found something #the area looks good on google maps #we're signing the lease on Tuesday :) I'll get to see it then. so if it's horrible we won't take it obviously. but like I said it looks #nice and my husband said it's nice so #so we'll probably have to move back in with his parents for two months and have our stuff in storage #but that's okay #we'll also have to buy the kitchen appliances and everything. which isn't ideal. but it's fine #and everything will be new!! it'll all work! it won't be old and disgusting and awful!! #and there's definitely not an old lady who has lived there for 40 years and thinks she gets to decide how everyone else lives :') #and it's. kind of a new start. it's a 30 minute drive from here. not far at all but it feels very far to me (not in a bad way) #it's closer to a city too. not so close that it'd bother me but definitely nicer if we want to go there. which might be good I think #I'm tired of living in villages. everyone is so fucking close-minded and they know everything about you and. yeah no it's not for me. took a #while to realise that but. yeah. not doing that again. small towns are not that different but it IS definitely different #anyway guys I'm so relieved 😌😌😌 #personal

I was so concerned with the horrors of making a doctor's appointment and the horrors of finding a job that i completely forgot about the worst horrors of them all. Finding an apartment.

#i just realized that yesterday #after my appointment #and now my rest of my time off is ruined #because i have to find a place to stay and the chances are low that I'll find something okay #the student dorm apartment was the hight of luxury (pretty new. good stove. good bathroom. hot water....) #now I'm most likely going back to broken showers‚ old almost unusable stove‚ hot water every once in a blue moon‚ no room to move #ugly depressing dirty #my dream is unattainable i know #i don't even want more than one room (even though in the long run i would love to have an apartment with a kitchen in a separate room) #but i would love to have an oven #i know it's too much too ask and i should be happy if i have a functional stove #also a bathroom that doesn't look and behave like it's 100 years old and is fully functional would be so nice #and my actual most important concern is having enough space to work out #it doesn't need to be much. i just wanna be able to move freely enough so i don't have to worry about bumping into anything #when doing burpees and whatnot #but I'll take what i can get #if have no choice #i can't commute. the train connections are too bad. #alright #I'll message some people now and get rejection after rejection after rejection 🥲 #void screams

i had a fun day 2 day ૮˶• ﻌ •˶ა everyone has been so nicey 2 me all day from the minute i left my house earlier ૮ ᴖﻌᴖა ♡⁠

i went to a Retreat for the first time for work earlier 0: and I did SO good for being up since 2am it didn't even feel like it 💀

it was so chill i drove like an hour away but Away from the city so there wasn't rly traffic and the mountains r so pretty 2 drive thru (❁´◡`❁) got some rain n v low clouds and since it's autumn there's all these pretty colors. i took an edible on the way n was just jammin out n enjoying the scenery among the many safe opportunities 2 look

and then at the thing we got 2 do different ice breakers n go on decently long breaks; i got 2 hang in different groups n actually Talk w a bunch of ppl which i never have time for omg. it's nice working at a legal nonprofit, i would NOT want to do this with corporate mfs !! 😹

went around n said hii to the enbies and i ran up a hill that looked a lot smaller than it was, i made it like 80% of the way before my legs were immediately like no girl we're done !! but my brain was like but it's Right There, and i struggled 2 finish the climb but I Did !! ૮ ᴖﻌᴖა and i was so so tired i do not remember ever being that winded before 💀 getting down was so much slower n worse bc my legs were Done and when i finally made it to the bottom i laid flat on my back for like 15m, and when when i made it back to sit n chill i still need like 10 more minutes akskska. i do not b exercising !! i just wanted 2 play it looked fun and i got excited (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠)

in between things i was working on my sister's choker n kept winding up w a group of ppl around me 2 talk to about it and just talk 2 in general n the company was rly nice (❁´◡`❁) ♡ had a lot of different kinda talks 2day!! everyone is a sweetie!! some ppl r so funny n chill and i rly hope 2 get 2 talk more casually w people perhaps As Friends when i go in 👉👈

OH HMMMMM... i feel like thats the golden question the fandom has been parroting to each other for the last three years..... im unsure to be honest. i think because i am also not the kind of person who says i love you to people, i can understand a little better when people argue for andreil never saying it to each other/kevin....... nevertheless i dont think its impossible at all!!!!! but i do think that its very embarrassing. i can see neil just slurring the words very quickly one morning because he feels bad kevin said it and he didnt answer in time, or andrew blurting it out very blankly once and never again.... thinking emoji...... i imagine that if they do say it to kevin then its really awkward, and if they say it to each other its even more so... but theyd still try to eventually anyway. if just to get the words out once in their lives

ultimately though i dont think kevin really cares for this!!! not even in a being totally certain of it already way but because kevin himself isnt truly used to hearing the word love either. i think him saying it in pfk might sound like it was premeditated but in reality he just said it in the spur of the moment because he truly felt like he loved neil for those 5 minutes he was afforded to nap....!!! in a similar fashion, i dont think kevin would be able to say it in a serious conversation either, so andreil dont really have to worry about it....... but to answer your question in a more concise way: yes it does happen eventually, but its very cringe and awkward and every time without fail the other person just looked at them like ....ok then went on with their lives
