La razón detrás de estas acciones: la falta de seguridad en la escuela y la aparente renuencia de la dirección para abordar las preocupaciones de los padres.

El descontento comenzó a tomar forma después del incidente en hi-mahou, donde algunos estudiantes se enfrentaron a yokai y activistas pro-yokai. "Pyro. What do you have." Engineer was well past exasperation at this point, reaching into anger. Pyro's shoulders sagged as they cupped the little lump in their pocket, a defeated and muffled hudda echoing out of their mask. Engineer watched carefully as Pyro reached inside, pulling out a soot-black kitten, more fluff than flesh, with big angry green eyes. It hissed loudly, wiggling and clawing at Pyro's gloves and suit, furious at being woken from its nap.

Engineer sighed, reaching up and pinching the bridge of his nose. Of course there would be a kitten.

"Pyro, you know we can't keep it, right?" Engineer's voice is quiet, cautious even. "It ain't safe 'round here. Not for us, not for a kitten, not for nothin'."

Pyro's head tilted downward, their hands outstretched, extending the kitten towards Engie. "Mmph mh muh hudd..."

Engineer sighed, plucking the feisty furball from Pyro's hands, holding it up by the scruff. It couldn't have been more than a week old, far too young to be without its mother. "Pyro, did'ya find its mamma?"

Pyro nods, looking even more miserable. Engineer's heart sunk to his stomach as he looked down at the angry little kitten. The nearest pound was two hours away, and it was unlikely they'd even have the capacity for the little furball. It was pretty well stuck with them, whether Engie liked it or not.

"Damnit, Pyro," Engie grunted, tucking the angry little furball into the chest pocket of his overalls. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, a name already in his mind. "I guess we can keep it."

Pyro's demeanor flipped immediately as they clapped their hands, overjoyed but muffled squeals coming from their mask. "Huddah hud?"

"A name?" Engie's nose scrunched up as he thought for a moment, hands on his hips. "Why the hell did I get dragged into this. Whad'dya think about Motor Oil?"

Pyro clapped their hands together, pressing the grate of their mask to Engineer's cheek with an over-the-top kissing noise. "Hudda hudd huh!"

Sin embargo, este evento ha dejado al descubierto cuestionamientos significativos hacia la administración del colegio y el NIMASHO(¹), el gobierno mágico japonés.

El incidente, que ocurrió en la tarde del día mencionado, transformó un día escolar aparentemente normal en la sociedad no-mágica en un escenario sangriento, dejando víctimas y conmocionando a la comunidad mágica. Oh, yes, I have the headcanons you're looking for. These are canon in my heart.

Logan and Jacob go way back. They were friends as kids, their mom's were both on the PTA so they were brought along to things, and they just clicked. Scotty came soon after, he was new in school and happened to be put in Logan and Jacobs class. He was quiet and people ignored him and so Logan and Jacob kind of adopted him. Caleb is the newest addition, but he got right in super quickly.

They dare each other to do dumb things. Like constantly. "Caleb, I dare you to eat this peanut I found under the fridge." "Logan, I dare you to try to Ollie over that potted plant." And they always take the dare. This has caused multiple injuries.

They do a weekly movie night. They have a rotation of who hosts, who brings snacks, who picks out the movie, and who just shows up. Scotty always picks action movies, Caleb picks comedies, Jacob picks westerns, and Logan picks horror. As they get older, they start doing it once a month due to scheduling conflicts. Eventually, they're lucky to do it twice a year, with all their very adult responsibilities. They always remember who's next in rotation though.

Jacob has a basement that his parents let them hang out in. The rest of the boys think it's so cool and they spend most of their indoor time there. Even though it's Jacobs basement, Logan puts a lot of energy into making it "The Spot". He decks it out with posters, lights, tapestries, and candles to make it smell good. He's so proud of the fact that it's their comfort space.

They have two different group chats. One strictly for memes, and one for talking. Caleb is the Meme Master, he sends the best ones that have them all giggling in the middle of class.

Logan and Jacob tried to come up with a secret language when they were in elementary school so that nobody could know what they talked about. It didn't work because the kept forgetting their own rules about the language and then they just end up arguing about it. But they remember a couple of phrases that they still use and everyone rolls their eyes when they use them.
