I've always liked the idea that the clans carve to preserve their history, while the tribe paints

So what about the kittypets?

They sing.

They see their twolegs going around the home, making rythmic noises while they work, so the cats copy.

Kittypets sing about their pasts, about life. They sing to each other and to strangers. They sing about everything. They sing about nothing. Some songs have words, others are just noise. Some songs are long, some are short. Some have been passed down for ages, others made up on the spot.

The clans hear them. They hear those songs, echoing from the twoleg place. Some are tempted to join in, but are prevented. Warned.

Do not follow the song of siren.

What would the Clan cats think of a kittypet or loner that likes to ride in cars? Heck what about one that lives in a camper? There’s plenty of people that like to live on the road and take their pets with them.

The idea of having seen the inside of a car is at once blood-pumpingly thrilling and absolutely terrifying for a Clan cat. Seeing the inside of one of the humans' monsters, going faster than any animal in the territories while not moving an inch...it's a heck of a prospect, and one some cats can't grasp. They all have their different ideas of what the inside looks like (viscera, stone, metal, fur, bare skin, cloudy, etc) and what it would be like to be in one. Kittypets who join the Clans and have ridden in one, like Fireheart, have a great story to tell to their new comrades and are seen as incredibly brave adrenaline junkies. And that's just the cats who have been in a car one time!

So to your question: a cat liking the ride is a good degree more bizarre than a normal cat, and one that lives in a car as gigantic as a camper, or a van, is along the lines of an Evel Knievel. A maniac. They may have potentially tamed the beast. That is a level of insanity a warrior would have trouble processing.

Kittypet Thunderclan AU

AU where Tiny/Scourge, Ruby, Socks, Smudge, Oliver, Princess, and Cloudtails Siblings, all join Thunderclan Tiny is taken in after the Tigerpaw attack. Obviously, he is on the side of Ravenpaw after Redtail's death, Icefrost is his name and I think I will hand him to Thrushpelt as an apprentice. --- Smudge, Oliver, & Princess, all join after Fire does. Just after they find out that Princess is pregnant so that they do not get separated, Smudge becomes Coalspot, Princess becomes Fawnheart, and Oliver becomes Lightflare (I wanted them to have names that tied them to Fireheart). Cloudtail is still named Cloudkit, but I am working on names for the other kits. --- Ruby and Socks join at the time they would have gone to Bloodclan for food, finding Tiny based on the words of two strays he lets get away with hunting for food(Bone and Brick), Ruby becomes Smokefall and Socks becomes Shadestreak. --- Icefrost finds out that Fireheart is his half-brother shortly after he joins when he asks about his family and finds out Jake is his father. Ice acts as an older brother figure to all of the younger members of the kittypet squad, Cloud loves his uncle Icefrost and can be found trying to convince him to take him on patrol. Icefrost still does not like Smokefall or Shadestreak but will be tolerant for the sake of his younger siblings and nieces and nephews. --- Ruby/Smokefall is the mother of Darktail in this au, Onestar is still Darktail's father. Icefrost despite his grievances with Smokefall, comforts her after Onestar rejects her and their son, one of the few times they have a long talk without any fighting.

New Longstar AU - Outsiders and Rogues

As there are many many cats in the world, there are many cats that have different lifestyles and different ways of viewing the world. The Clans views of outsiders ave varied from clan to clan. These are the ones that our Clans have interacted with in the past, and hints of what they might run into in the future.

Kittypets

Kittypets are those who live with the mysterious and unpredictable Twolegs in their Tall Dens. They are usually well groomed, with distinctive markings and vivid colors to their pelts. Many Kittypets wear collars of strange materials around their necks, and some even have full body armor on at all times! (That’s a walking harness you mousebrain! -Flamewish) There are Kittypets who don’t want to BE Kittypets, and Twolegs who mistreat their charges, but the majority of Kittypets love their Twoleg, and said Twoleg seems to love them back.

The majority of Kittypets are fearful of Clan cats or intruders, but be forewarned – some are ferocious as a Front-Line Brawler, and often attacking a Kittypet leads to their Twoleg coming after the aggressor. Some Clan cats have been lost this way – it is said that Pinestar was battling a Kittypet molly on a Thunderpath when her Twolegs scooped them up into a Monster. He has never been seen again…

Loners

Loners are those who walk the world either alone or in groups of less than 5. They may have a small territory, or wander in certain paths. Loners can be former Kittypets, or banished from previous groups. Some loners have friendly relationships with the Clans – there are some that visit Windclan, and there were a few that saw Shadowclan as friends, before Raggedstar and Brokenstar. Some Loners have even joined the Clans in the past, and it is whispered if a Queen or King brings kits to the camp with no other parent, they could have Loner blood.

Clowders

A Clowder is any medium to large group of non-Clan cats with a structured society and rules. Usually led by one to three cats, most Clowders are just trying to do the best they can in a cruel world, but others are just power-hungry. There are Clowders in churches, and on the streets of Twoleg Territories. Clowders that protect the weak, and Clowders that exploit the innocent. Some have a defined territory, while others wander together. The Loners that visit Windclan are part of a larger Clowder, the WorldWalkers, that meets up every year, then splits off to explore. Another, spoken of in rumors, is nearly all mollies, that eject their toms at adulthood, and speak to the dead. (These rumors are highly exaggerated)

The Barn Cats

Specifically speaking of the Barn on the edge of the Clan Territories, the Barn Cats are a very friendly Clowder that is allied with the Clans. The Barn is seen as a neutral zone, so as long as no one starts a fight, everyone is welcome. Cats who visit are expected to have manners and provide for others who may be resting there, so bring some prey or nesting material or feathers for kits to play with. Currently run by Barley and his sister Violet, they have allowed a garden of Emergency Herbs to be grown on the grounds, and keep the Twolegs that visit occasionally from stealing any kits or young cats that are sheltering there. Ravenpaw of Thunderclan has joined the Barn Cats, and become the Herbalist of this Clowder.

Rogues

The criminal element of the outsiders, Rogues are only looking out for themselves. They lie and cheat and steal, intimidate and eviscerate, battle and leave blood in their wake. Usually living alone, they can be mistaken for Loners, and may pretend for a time, but eventually their true nature is revealed. Groups of Rogues are led by either the strongest or the cleverest, and are generally cruel Clowders to grow up in. Some born Rogues may choose to change their ways, but escape is such a difficult thing to do. Bloodclan was a powerful Rogue Clowder, but with Tyrant’s Defeat, it has waned into little more that infighting and violence. Some say a certain molly and a certain tom are trying to rebuild Bloodclan into something new and better, but no one in the Clans knows for certain…

There are whispered rumors of a Clowder of Rogues that is forming in the Twoleg Territory, as strong as Bloodclan and as wicked as Miretrees…

Kittypet beauty standards

Scars:

Within kittypet culture, scars are viewed as a tragedy and something deeply undesirable. They're viewed as a mark of neglect, because a well fed and well taken care of cat has no reason to fight.

Pelt grooming/cleanliness:

Kittypets tend to spend much of their time washing themselves. Their pelts are typically kept smooth and clean of any and all debris. "Accessories" such as decorative feathers or leaves are frowned upon.

I realized that of the afterlives in Warriors, only two have official names. So I’m gonna make the names for the rest

Loners --> Sun-Bound Place

Loners travel a lot, so it would be logical to assume that where the sun is is an important, or at least daily, aspect of their life so that they do not get lost. When they die, they go here, named such because being ‘bound’ to the sun means they can never get lost from home again--they are where they should be, in a paradise.

Some may also believe that they have become part of the sun (this is up to you) and that they are now what guides their loner kin.

Rogues --> Sunless Sky

I believe that rogues are the more violent versions of loners, and so they would basically go to the “Dark Forest” equivalent. They go where they cannot even tell where they are.

They are the colourless night that kits get lost in. Mothers often warn their kits not to leave while she is sleeping, otherwise the nasty rogues who died long ago will capture them and take the kits with them into the black sky, where they’ll be lost forever.

Unlike with the Dark Forest however, because there is no code to guide behaviour, cats from the Sunless Sky can join the Sun-Bound Place if proven trustworthy enough.

Kittypets --> Neverending Twolegplace

For kittypets, much different to warriors, the Twolegplace is their home and, to them, a great place. They imagine it as a Twolegplace that never ends, each home filled with all the toys they could want, large gardens with plenty of trees and perhaps real prey, and each of the homes have a friendly fellow housecat. It is a perfect community.

If they believe the Twolegs come with them depends on the cat, some believe it is only for cats, others believe that the Twolegs come too, but only those who have cats.

Others as well believe that no dogs or other nuisances are present.

Kittypets Who Are Dicks --> Barren Land

The opposite of the Neverending Twolegplace, it is a place that has nothing from a household. No toys, no catfood or nip, no large gardens--no grass at all--no houses. It is a barren desert, basically.

Much like rogues, these cats do not follow a code and are thereby not ‘breaking the law,’ they are only condemned because they can be dangerous and disrupt the peaceful afterlife of others. They may also be able to join the Neverending Twolegplace if proven trustworthy.

Because kittypets, loners, and rogues are way more widespread than Clan cats, it stands to reason that names of their afterlives may be different as well. These names are the most commonly used among the cats in range of the Clans.

how would someone translate kittypet names into ClanMew?

Kittypet names are usually just English words that Clan cats don't know the meaning of! It's up to the individual cat to try and figure out the meaning, OR just translate it directly.

For examples, Fernsong's kittypet name was Fiddles. We usually think of that as a violin, but he was convinced it was some kind of fern. So, when he chose his prefix, he picked Nan. A generic term for ferns.

If he wanted to keep his name as a prefix, such as if he was a SkyClan warrior, it would be written in Clanmew phonetics. They have no "D," so FI-DULS becomes Fibuls.
