Kitty’s Hat in Time AUs revisited

Putting a cut here so people don’t have to scroll down through all of this (it’s kinda long.)

I decided to sort through the Hat in Time AUs I’ve got so far to see which ones I actually want to keep working on/which ones have the most information. I’ve narrowed my AUs down to six:

Monster Under the Bed AU How could I not keep this one? It’s my most popular one (judging by all the notes the masterpost got) and it has its own ask blog, so ditching it really isn’t an option at this point. I genuinely love this AU, and it’s the most flushed out one I have. Inspired by: Mainly a writing prompt story by Tumblr user kittywiskers and with smidges of Monsters Inc.

Pokémon AU Pokémon AUs are always fun, and I love the designs I made for the characters as well! You guys seem to like this one as well! It still needs some more work, but that’s perfectly fine! Inspired by: Need I say?

Badlands AU I haven’t visited this one in a while, but the Badlands AU is one of my favorites because post-apocalyptic things are my jam. This one also needs more work but it’s still one of my favorites. Inspired by: Mildly Fallout inspired? It’s mostly inspired by a thing one of my Discord friends has.

Futurama AU I’ve been wanting to make a Futurama AU for a while, and I’ve finally figured out how I want it to go! Futurama is one of my favorite shows ever! I’m also somewhat doing this AU because MonsterMonsoon likes Futurama as well and I kinda look up to them >w< Inspired by: Need I say?

A Bloop in Time The Actor AU, also known as A Bloop in Time, was kind of a team effort with a few people on the AU in Time server, and even though it hasn’t been touched on in a while, I still wanna do something with it! Don’t be afraid to add your own bloopers/behind the scenes moments! This AU is for everyone! Inspired by: Mostly shitposting.

A Dream in Time The Dream AU is my newest AU and a lot of fun to work on! I love the designs I’ve made for the characters so far and the story is currently being worked out in a fic which is a lot of fun! I can’t wait to see how this one turns out! Inspired by: Started with mostly Alice in Wonderland, then started getting inspiration from Night in the Woods, Hollow Knight, Deltarune, and a little bit of Steven Universe.

And that’s all the AUs I’ve decided to keep! The AUs I decided not to keep either didn’t have enough information on them, or I just kinda lost interest in them. This also thankfully narrows down the ungodly amount of AUs I had to six core ones that I genuinely enjoy. I hope you guys enjoy these too!
