Fluff concept!

Klay and reader are expecting their first baby. Ever since he found out that reader was pregnant, he's been way more affectionate. Now that The Thompson Bump (he's so proud of that nickname) finally has made an appearance, he basically won't leave her side unless he really has to. At night, he rubs her belly with cocoa butter and tells the baby a goodnight story (one night it's an exaggerated tale of how he and mommy met!)

"Babe", you waddled into the bathroom, your hands occupied with an apple and a spoon of peanut butter, your latest pregnancy craving. You were about 6 months pregnant, and your belly was finally covering up your feet, making getting dressed every morning and ready for bed every evening an exhausting chore.

"Can you unbutton my jeans, I can't see down there anymore." You giggled, taking the final bite of your apple.

"Yeah, babe, one sec." Klay looked over at you from the sink as he finished shaving, a bit of shaving cream still on his neck. He wiped it away before turning his attention to you.

"Your pants are already unbuttoned." He bent down to look under your belly just to double check.

"Are you kidding me?", you huffed, scowling, "I ran errands today with my jeans open?! Probably showed off my granny panties to everyone too!" You gently sat down on the bed, letting your feet dangle as you rubbed your belly. "I never thought pregnancy brain was real, but I am living proof that it is."

Klay walked over you to, chuckling to himself as he bent over to press a kiss to your stomach. "Its okay, I'm sure no one even noticed, baby." His low, even voice was immediately reassuring to you, it could make you believe anything. "And you get a pass because you're so damn beautiful." You blushed, feeling the heat creep up your cheeks.

"Here, let me help you." Klay refused to watch you struggle to get up off the bed, extending his hands out to you and helping you to your feet. "Where are you going?" His question was laced with concern, ever since you got pregnant, he was extra careful of you, watching every step you took to make sure you were safe and comfortable.

"Just to shower, babe." Your belly shook as you laughed while walking to the closet to get a clean pair of pajamas.

"I'll get everything you need, just go ahead and shower, mama." Klay ushered you over to the bathroom, his hands on your lower back. You tried your best to hide your smile. If your husband wanted to dote on you, you weren't going to decline.

"Don't forget my socks please!" you called out from the shower, relishing the feeling of the hot water cascading over your sore body.

"Got it." He replied back to you, laying everything out on your side of the bed so it was easy for you to get dressed.

"And my lotion please?" You stepped out of the shower, wrapping yourself in a warm, fluffy towel. Klay stood in front of your vanity, searching for your cocoa butter lotion. "Its in the top drawer", you directed him.

You took your time getting dressed before Klay helped you into the bed, tucking your legs underneath the blanket. You already felt your eyelids getting heavy as he began to gently rub the lotion onto your stomach. This had become a nightly ritual for the two of you, giving you a chance to relax, and Klay some quality time with you and the baby.

"He's about the size of a cauliflower today." You smiled at Klay's remark, placing your hand on his as he waited for the baby to kick. "How are you so sure its a boy?" The two of you had decided to wait until the birth to find out the gender of your first born.

"I don't know", he shrugged, "I only have brothers, and I just have a feeling that the Thompson bump is gonna be a boy." You cringed at the nickname, holding your tongue because you knew how much he loved it. "Well I love our cauliflower already, boy or girl." Klay hummed in agreement.

He pressed a few light kisses to your belly, the sensation tickling you. "What do you think about the name Wilson?" He asked casually, laying down next to you so he could press his cheek to your stomach. You scrunched your nose in disapproval. "Uh, huh, that was the name of my ex-boyfriend's dog."

Klay chuckled, "which boyfriend?", he trailed his fingers against your skin. "The one I was dating before I met you."

"Your mom would never admit it, but I knew she was in love with me the first time we met." Klay directed his words to the baby, chuckling to himself.

"Don't lie to our unborn baby, Klay!" you playfully slapped him on the arm. "You were definitely in love with me first."

"Don't listen to her, Wilson. She said I love you on the third date. She was crazy about me. She saw me put up those 60 points in a game, and she was all over me."

"We are not naming our baby, Wilson! If you want to know the truth, I knew you were the one on the first date, I just didn't want to seem too eager." Klay sat up, pulling you into a gentle kiss.

"Don't worry, I knew you were the one on our first date, too."
