Kuroo rushes through your bedroom door less than five minutes later, panting and out of breath as he tries to speak.

“You! You c-can’t just -say that- in text!,” he says through the wheezy drags of air he sucks into his lungs.

“Did you run here?” you ask, wide eyed and worried.

“I-can’t-“

“Just sit down Tets, I’m not getting on the plane now. You can catch your breath.”

You offer him a drink from your water bottle as he follows your advice.

As soon as he steadies himself enough to take in a full deep breath, he tries again. “I can’t believe you did that to me. You don’t confess to someone in text just before you leave on a six month trip to study abroad!”

“Tets, I’m sorry if I made things awkward but I just couldn’t keep holding it in forever. I figured this way-,” you bite your lip. “Well this way if you rejected me I could move on while I wasn’t constantly reminded of you and then when I got back maybe we could be friends again.”

“Not gonna happen,” he says and your face scrunches up in confusion. “No way in hell are any of those American boys getting their filthy hands on you, C’mon.”

“Tets where are you taking me?” you ask, trying not to stumble into anything as he pulls you behind him.

“To get a tattoo that says property of Kuroo Tetsuro on your face and a drawing of my face somewhere a little more private, “ he coos.

“WHAT?” you squawk, reeling backward.

“Just kidding, Kitten. We’re going on a date. I’ll buy you breakfast and you can kiss me good morning if you’d like.”

Alright so I guess I'll explain what the actual fuck happened to me over the past almost month of my unannounced hiatus. Um...Well I've been going through a lot of stuff. School, personal, friends, everything. With school I just feel so done, with math. I hate math now and I never did which is weird because it's my best subject. No one knows what the fuck is going on and we barely understand any work. It's frustrating and it sucks because my mom talks about my grade and college which also adds MORE pressure on me. I just feel like I'm not doing good enough for anyone or trying anymore. It sucks. My mom wants me to keep getting good grades and get into a good college, so I just feel overwhelmed all the time. School is just fuckin a lot. I barely have any free time and have so many projects. My grade in math is almost a C so I feel like I failed already.

As for friends...they disappoint me. They just really do. I hate how much friendship is idolized as perfect and wow it's nothing but happiness...but in reality it can be the opposite. My female friends barely text me anymore and have other friend and better than me. One of my friends even has a new boyfriend and never told me so that really hurt. My two friends at school barely try for me and it sucks because I'm actually closer to my guy friend. A GUY FRIEND. I'm just like "Why am I closer to him than YOU guys?! Shouldn't you try harder?!" But they look at me like I'm crazy and just say that it's fine. It really pissed me odd because their my girlfriends and a guy is closer to me than them. Like damn. I love my guy friend SO SO SOOO much tho. He is the best guy friend I could EVER ask for I swear to God. He actually convinced me to come back on Wattpad even. I admitted what I do (writing fan fiction) and he DIDN'T JUDGE ME. He's the only one I told and he didn't say anything. His words really touched me and god damn he is so sweet. I'm his best friend so.

My mood swings are really bad to the point where I disassociate with everyone. Extreme sadness bugs the hell out of me practically all the time. Even anxiety is really bad for me. I am a people pleaser. I hate it so damn much but it's true. I want to come off as cool and perfect for everyone just to get them to be cool/like me.

Yukio is my forever love tho from KNB. I get hurt all the time because I wish he was real and was my boyfriend in RL. Hell I even cried a few days ago over him. I just randomly started bawling down and didn't know what to do anymore. I just wanted to disappear and go away from everyone. But I just sat there and cried for a while. I love him so much it hurts and breaks my heart. When you love a character so much, this is a routine for you almost. I sound like a fucking looney but I'm being real here. Judge me all you want but this is me. No fakeness or lies. Just the truth. So I'm back I guess. I feel like I'm still disappointing a lot of my readers though. I'm always going to feel this way. As for life...people are always going to hurt me. It's just facts. But it's fine. I'm used to it and have at least 1 friend who tries for me.

So yep this is my explanation for why I left and probably will go again. School is fucking killing me and I don't know if people would even want me back on here so I don't know.

Day 4 - Fake/Pretend Relationship

Tetsuya is on the company line when his phone buzzes. He doesn’t even glance at it. The media development department claimed to have not received the quarterly review prep notes and is chewing his ass out about it. The entire department, which was ridiculous because that department was huge, even for the most boring branch of Red Dawn Corp. 

But then it buzzes twice more after two minutes, very much the M.O of Tetsuya’s boss, Akashi Seijuurou. Despite his calm and smug exterior, he is probably the most impatient person Tetsuya knows, and he will move Tetsuya’s desk into his office if Tetsuya doesn’t respond at this point. It’s usually only for a month, but it’s a month of Tetsuya passive aggressively putting three packets of sugar in the man’s coffee, and by extension Tetsuya getting so much work he stays at his desk almost as long as Akashi does because his boss is an insane workaholic,

So Tetsuya sighs faintly, looks away from his company issued laptop and drones into the receiver. “Please excuse me for a moment.” Tetsuya presses the ‘hold’ button, and places the phone back into the holder.

He looks with no small amount of disdain at his cell.

5:11 pm   -   Tetsuya, please report to my office.

5:12 pm   -   I understand that the media department is anxious, but they can wait.

5:13 pm   -   Don’t forget you only just returned to your office a week ago.

Tetsuya frowns at the implicit threat and texts a mindless affirmative before standing up. Tetsuya works on the top floor with every other secretary for the executives, whom he can always see thanks to the simplistic floor plan They all look up at him as he moves. Most of them have been playing Galuga or sudoku to kill time until six and are deathly bored.

The closest is the part wallflower part weeb part snarkmaster Mayuzumi, who manages to maintain a mask of complete indifference despite the fact he’s been reading his light novel for two hours already.

“The big man still got you waiting on him hand and foot?” Mayuzumi deadpans, but Tetsuya detects a touch of sympathy. He could be wrong, but Tetsuya is the foremost expert on monotone, so he’s probably not.

“Akashi-san is a big boy. He can even brush his teeth all by himself,” Tetsuya replies, and walks into his boss’s office. After three texts, knocking was a waste of time that Akashi might not tolerate.

He comes face to face with the CEO of Red Dawn Corp., Akashi Masaomi, his boss’s boss and father. Tetsuya very narrowly manages not to freeze and closes the door behind him. The man’s expression is harsh and suspicious, more so than usual, but Tetsuya is impassive. Someone once told him, when he started doing internships, that a secretary is a brick wall. Tetsuya embraces that metaphor every day, and now he chants it like a prayer.

“This is him?” Akashi Masaomi asks, scrutinizing him. Akashi Seijuurou nods, an easy smile on his face, which turns into an expectant glare the moment the CEO turned his back. Tetsuya has worked for the man long enough it’s his boss’s way of saying please.

But Tetsuya has no idea what his boss is asking for until he crosses the room and snakes an arm around his waist. Tetsuya goes rigid, and he thinks his jaw drops. His boss’s expression is saccharine. “This is my fiance.”

Persona 3′s cast is close in a way the other casts aren’t? Like. They have a friendship not dictated by the MC being there to make them be friends. They have their own issues and relationships outside of each other and it’s so interesting to me

1. In Good Hands (aowaka + momoi): It’s hard to see the change in their relationship right away; it’s hard to see because there isn’t one. Aomine and Wakamatsu are still every bit as short with each other as always, and Aomine still provokes him needlessly in practice, which, well, Momoi hadn’t particularly expected to change. 

2. Sharp Angle (nba!tatsuya/nhl!shuu): By the time Tatsuya gets out of the shower, the press are all surrounding the heroes of tonight’s game, and no one even looks his way. 

3. Poor Taste (nijisibs): Shuuzou’s got the last period of the day free, a blessing that allows him to leave early and swing by the middle school early enough to pick up his siblings. 

4. A Liminal Stage (aomura x nba): It’s easier getting up right after to clean them off when Daiki’s still sweating from both the sex itself and from being pressed closely against Atsushi the whole time, the warm friction of skin on skin and already-gathering sweat on sweat.

5. Concentrate (garcirakihimu): There’s about an hour window on a good home game day after Masako gets home but before Tatsuya has to leave for the arena (more if Alex convinces him that he can take a cab, just this once even though it’s the twentieth time this year). 

6. Challenge Accepted (setomomo): Kentarou is usually pretty punctual, but today Satsuki’s beat him to the street court, even with stopping to pick up coffees. 

7. Push (kagahimu x nba): Several years into his NBA career, Taiga still finds himself falling a little more in love with basketball every day. 

8. One and the Same (nijihimu): Corralling the freshmen is like herding cats at the start of the season; there’s only five but they’re all wandering off like they don’t realize boarding’s in less than ten minutes—Tatsuya’s been trying to bring them all back for five or ten minutes already and nearly every time he gets one he’ll lose another to some distraction or other. 

9. Two for Holding (kagahimu hockey au): Tatsuya’s already at the rink when he gets there, stick-handling between the circles and out and back, too focused on the puck to notice Taiga. 

10. Not Just a River (kagahimu x nba): It starts imperceptibly, as much so that Tatsuya can’t say when. 

11. Pinched Time (liuhimu): “Come visit?” Tatsuya had asked two days before graduation, half-turning back to look over his shoulder at Wei, fake levity that even Wei can probably see through in his voice. 

12. Moonshine (nijihimu 1920s au): It’s so easy for Shuuzou to get lost in the winding streets of the city and end up in the direction opposite to where he’d been intending to go, the wrong street of the wrong neighborhood with little hope of getting back in the time he’s allocated for himself. 

13. Suddenly, You (nijihimu): Tatsuya wakes up several times on the flight. Each time he looks around; the cabin’s still dark and he feels how high up they are and shifts his position, trying not to think about how stiff he is, and goes back to sleep. 

14. Under the Ice (liuhimu hockey au): The cold weather rolls back in slowly; they get used to days being significantly above freezing, grey skies and fog and rain pushing back the snowdrifts, road salt long since ground away into the sidewalks beneath their feet. 

15. No Other Way But You (aomido x nba): It rains the weekend the Cavs come to town. 

16. Stress Fractures (kagahimualex x nba): Alex gets the call while she’s watching Tatsuya’s game on TV; it’s gone to a commercial break and she’s just about to text Taiga but he’s got her beaten. 

17. Forces of Destruction (haikise fantasy au): The first time they’d met, Ryouta had felt like he was going to choke. 

18. Lead-Up (furuhana): The staggered rustle of paper on paper as everyone flips their math workbook open is irritating. 

19. Cinnamon Roll (liuhimu): Tokyo is full. It’s full of people, full of things to do and try, bright lights and loud sounds assaulting Liu’s senses (at least in the touristy part of town he and Himuro are sticking to right now—it had been quieter and more out of the way by the hotel).

20. Until it All Runs Dry (aohimu x nba): “I think I’ve got another year left in me.”
