Ghost Hunter Au:

Shinobu has her most famous series; The Kibutsuji Mansion

She’s taken several people here to try and talk to the 8 spirits of the mansion.

- Muzan Kibutsuji himself, contacted often through his massive office or bedroom usually through writing and things knocking off of the desks. Reports say he trapped his former wives spirits with him after convincing them to i alive themselves

- Kokushibo’s ghost is unlikely to interact with ghost-hunters, often sighted in Muzan’s weapons room with swords and guns on display. A locket resides in his room w a scratched out face. It’s uncertain who this is

- Douma is found in the basement, where all the cult stuff is. Walking through here, people report feelings of someone breathing down their neck or giggling on the chair. People often bring him items as gifts. Rumoured to have trapped a man in the freezer

- Akaza is known for speaking through the spirit box most notably. He loves talking to humans, he is more talktavive/freiendlier toward women and younger people.

- the Hatengu ghost(s) are found in some of the bedrooms and living areas. It’s unclear whether it’s one or several ghosts; people have reported loud banging on the he walls and hearing sobbing from the windows. They’re often mistakes for being a succubus/incubus

- Gyokko is in a room full of old pottery, some broken some perfectly intact. It’s rumoured that he was murdered by muzan himself after a business deal gone wrong. He’s also found in bathrooms, speaking by writing on mirrors and open ring the windows

- Daki is usually sighted in a massive ornate child’s bedroom, full of dolls and mirrors. She’s known to smash them when someone she seems unsightly enters her room

- Gyutaro is sometimes sighted in Daki’s room, sometimes in his own connected by a secret door through the wardrobe. His room is worn down, mirrors already broken or covered up

- Nakime sits in the music room, it’s said that you can hear her Biwa from almost anywhere in the house, especially Muzan’s office. She is the least likely to interact with any ghost-hunters

I’m gonna make the lore for this now cuz ghost-hunter Shinobu, Obanai and Mitsuri just makes sense to me

Synopsis: You're sent on a mission to investigate disappearing villagers. You have a run in with Upper Five. Instead of eating you, he seems more interested in your tattoos.

Note: I don't really enjoy writing yandere content, so this is just regukar Gyokko, which is almost the same thing. While I'm not fully on the Gyokko train, he's fun to write for!

Walking through the woods used to be calming. Before becoming a slayer, it was something soothing. With the fresh air and gentle moonlight, it was serene. Now, walking through the woods was like walking on death’s door.

Your crow gave mission details. Out in a secluded village, people were coming up missing. The only thing left behind was the scent of the ocean. Moving along the dirt path, it seemed deserted. There wasn’t a soul out. The disappearances must have everyone on edge. After searching for a while, you finally stumbled across someone.

It was an older-looking woman with a somber expression. Silent tears spill down her cheeks. Clutched in her hand was a strand of ribbon. You gently approach her with a light tone.

“Excuse me, ma'am. I hope I’m not imposing, but are you okay?” You couldn't flat-out say you were a demon slayer. Not wanting to upset her further, you take a more gentle approach.

The woman’s eyes seem unfocused, dazed. Her thumb glides against the smooth silk of the ribbon. Her voice was hollow and empty. “My daughter. The shining light of our village was taken from us. All that was left was her ribbon, strangely scented like seawater.”

Your fists clenched; Her daughter had become the victim of the demon. These heartless acts were infuriating. “I see. My condolences, ma’am; I’m so sorry that happened. I will do everything I can to bring your daughter to justice.”

“No, you mustn’t stay out. It’s unsafe for a young girl like you. My daughter, she was around your age, you know.” The woman frets.

Giving a calm smile, you tried to reassure her. “Don’t worry about me. I’ll be just fine. It’s getting late; you should head inside.”

The woman doesn’t say much else. For a moment longer, she stays in that spot. Her eyes shifted to land on you. “Will you really try to help my daughter?” She almost sounded hopeful.

“I promise I’ll do my best, ma’am.” You said, nodding your head.

Letting out a sigh, the woman gets up. The ribbon held tightly in her hand. “Thank you.” With those few words, she heads inside her house.

You watch, and after making sure she made it safely inside, you begin your search of the village. It was quiet. Though, there was an uneasy feeling in the air. Like a heavy weight pressing down on you. The demon was here; you could feel it.

In a secluded area, there was a lone house. Unlike all the other ones, the door was wide open. Unsheathing your sword, you get closer. A shiver goes down your spine once you smell it, the scent of the ocean. With quick and quiet steps, you rush into the house.

There’s a faint sound coming from a room at the end. A wet, dripping that you could only hope was water. Expecting to find a demon, you were surprised to see no one in the room. There was no demon or body. There was a futon, though it was a mess. The pillow and blanket were scattered across the room. Next to the futon was a single ceramic pot.

Besides the futon and pot, there were no clues, nothing to go off of, only the near-suffocating smell of seawater. You could still hear the faint dripping noise. With your sword still tightly gripped, you look around the room.

The dripping gets louder before it sounds like bubbles. The noise was coming from the vase. Out of the ceramic pot came a demon. It had a more otherworldly appearance than the others you’ve faced. Lunging forward, you move to slash the demon’s neck.

Before the steel could connect with flesh, it slipped back into the pot. Quick on your feet, you move the slash to aim for the ceramic. Suddenly, a fast tendril of water shoots out, slicing your sword like butter. With your blade now useless, it seemed the only thing to do was run.

You couldn’t make it far. Water surrounded your body in the shape of a vase. It was hard to breathe as your chest began to ache. The demon stems from the pot once again. An eerie smile crossed both of its lips.

Gyokko was plain giddy. Two meals in one night! And best of all, one of them was an idiotic slayer that thought they could beat him. He leans close to the vase of water, hoping to watch their face as they suffocate. Through the waves, he could make out markings on the exposed arms of the slayer. He couldn’t pull his eyes away from the patterns. He needed a closer look.

The vase of water popped. You took deep, greedy breaths of air as you hit the ground. That breath caught in your throat once you felt a small hand on your arm.

“Oh my, what exquisite work! So many shapes, so many patterns. Did you make this art yourself?” The demon asked, trailing stubby fingers along the lines of your tattoos.

You felt confused. Why was this demon so curious about your tattoos? Why was it talking to you rather than devouring your flesh?

Gyokko didn’t appreciate your lack of a response. How dare some puny slayer disrespect him, disrespect the discussion of art? That hand on your arm had some strength behind it. Gyokko squeezes your flesh, though not daring to draw blood. He wouldn't allow a scratch to ruin such beautiful work. “Answer me.”

You flinched at the demon’s tight grip; it felt like your bone could snap. Talking to him could buy time. Perhaps, enough time for your crow to get help. “No, I didn’t do this. I had gone to someone for it.”

Gyokko’s lime-painted lips stretched into a smile. He kept a firm grip on you, using his other hands to trail down the lines on your arms. “What an amazing form of art. To have it etched on your body forever. Such dedication! The process, explain it to me.” Though he sounded excited, there was still a hint of malice in his tone. Like one wrong answer would mean your immediate death.

Feeling his many hands on your body made you tense. It made your blood run cold. You tried to keep a calm head as you explained. “The artist uses a tool comprised of many needles. They use it to insert ink under the skin.”

“How painful! What lengths you went to preserve art!” A bright pink flush covers Gyokko’s face, contrasting his white skin. To meet someone so dedicated to art, even if it was a human, made him feel warm. He leans close to your face. You could feel his breath as he talked.

“You’re a living work of art. I, Gyokko, am feeling inspired. I must keep you. You’ll be my precious muse. We’ll make beautiful pieces of art together!” He practically purred.

When backup had arrived, you nor the demon could be found. The only thing left behind was the remains of your sword and the scent of the ocean.

Uppermoon 1- Kokushibo

I feel like Kokushibo would be a very traditional man seeing as he's over 400 years old.

He's definitely not one for short pecks, even if one of you had to be somewhere.

Kokushibo would prefer slow and passionate kisses, like the gentleman he is (ignoring the murder of course🤞).

Almost always asks before he kisses you. Something along the lines of, 'May I kiss you'.

Kokushibo puts a lot of passion into his kisses, he doesn't just give them out half-heartedly, he really puts his emotions behind it (or any emotions he has left).

He doesn't like teasing, he won't tease with his kisses and he doesn't want you to either. If you did he'd probably sulk for a while.

He's a lot more gentle than some of the Uppermoons however he can be rougher if either of you are feeling extra 'needy'.

Uppermoon 2- Douma

Unlike Kokushibo, Douma enjoys both short pecks and teasing kisses, however, occasionally Douma likes passionate ones.

If you're with him whilst he's with his followers, he does quick cheek kisses unless there's a follower that is particularly annoying, that's when he'll initiate longer kisses.

Douma is quite playful, in multiple ways, so often if the kisses are longer it'll lead to something else, unless you're in front of an annoying follower, that's when it'll have to wait. His followers aren't allowed to see you like that. Only Douma.

If you were an upper rank and you went to meetings with him, he'd often kiss you as if to 'show you off'. This only makes Muzan's hatred for Douma blossom but for the most part he won't do anything, Muzan is a lot more lenient with his Uppermoons. Just don't disturb the meeting too much.

Uppermoon 3- Akaza

Akaza isn't necessarily 'old fashioned' as such but he's certainly very respectful with his kisses.

We all know Akaza drinks woman respect juice on the daily and so he doesn't want to overstep any boundaries you may have.

He asks before he kisses you, just incase you didn't want him to.

He doesn't mind what type of kiss it is but he mostly prefers meaningful kisses that last for a while.

He would never kiss you in a meeting. We all know his respect and loyalty for Muzan is very high. He would see that as disrespectful.

I feel like he'd prefer to keep his kisses behind closed doors as he thinks it would make him seem vunerable.

The most PDA he'd show is a arm around your waist or shoulder, maybe a hand on your lower back.

Uppermoon 4- Hantengu + Clones

A very nervous kisser.

He's a very paranoid demon as seen in the meeting and when he appears in the village.

It takes a long time for him to kiss you in your relationship.

He gives quick pecks, never longer kisses.

There's not much to say about him, he doesn't often give kisses.

Sekido

Sekido is very angry by nature (obviously).

He prefers rough kisses, like extremely rough. I'm talking 'till your on the verge of passing out.

He doesn't care where you are or who is around you, he'll kiss you anywhere and in front of everyone.

Soft kisses don't exist with him, he is the incarnation of rage and those transfer into his kisses, that doesn't mean he doesn't love you, you won't find him fawning over anybody else.

Urogi

Urogi's kisses are definitely fun.

You'll never know when, where or how he's going to kiss you. They range from short pecks, to long and gentle kisses, to hunger-filled and fiery kisses.

He doesn't have a favourite place to kiss you, just whatever is exposed at the time. Neck, lips, cheek, collarbone, forehead... you get the idea.

Doesn't care who's watching, he'll kiss you in front of his brothers with no shame.

Will definitely take you in the air with him to kiss you.

Uses his ability to find high up spots with great views to kiss you at.

Karaku

Karaku loves teasing you with kisses, the ones that leave you wanting more.

He finds it funny when he kisses you in front of his brothers, especially Sekido. Sekido's anger makes the kisses more enjoyable he thinks.

If his brothers annoy him he'll just make them feel like Urogi as he sends them flying through the air.

Massive fan of giving hickeys. Fight me.

Aizetsu

His kisses are very soft and gentle, they definitely last for a while.

He isn't a fan of quick kisses, he doesn't feel they convey his full love for you, he doesn't feel any sort of kiss could convey even a fraction of his love for you.

The only time he'll do quick pecks is if you've just woken up (demon or not) even so they'll be followed shortly with a longer one, or, if you're asleep (or falling asleep), he'll press a quick one to your forehead or nose.

He doesn't tend to kiss you in public, if he gets insecure or jealous for any reason he'll quickly kiss your cheek but as soon as you're in private he won't stop kissing you, the only time he stops is if you need to take a breather. He'll just start again after though.

Gyokko

Gyokko definitely leaves green kiss stains all over you, whether he's wearing lipstick or not.

He'll proudly parade you round with them. He'd be very happy if you wore lipstick and returned the favor, he calls it artwork.

Would definitely co-ordinate your kiss marks into his pot designs.

Would gladly show off the lipstick marks in Uppermoon meetings, Muzan doesn't mind too much. Gyokko's pots bring in good money, he likes Gyokko.

Gyokko likes short but repeated kisses. He likes to kiss you with one of his mouths and then quickly switches to the other over and over.

Not one for longer kisses.

Gyutaro

As soon as Gyutaro realises you actually like him and you aren't just making fun of him, there's no stopping his kisses.

Marks you EVERYWHERE. He's got someone he considers second most gorgeous (not as much as his sister of course) and he isn't letting anyone else even second guess if you're single or not.

Inexperienced but that won't stop him.

His kisses are a mix of everything.

He likes to go from kissing your lips, down to your jaw and then neck and then collarbone ect.

His rougher kisses are when he's jealous and his softer ones are when he's feeling insecure so you get a fair bit of both.

Daki

Daki likes cheek kisses. Just short cheek kisses.

Not a fan of anything else really, she likes to keep things quick and simple.

Not much else to say really.

I understand why some people thinks the fight between Muichiro and Gyokko seem shorter than the last time with Gyutaro and Daki so here are some my speculation:

1) Muichiro has gotten the mark so his strength, speed, durability get more enhanced. Not to mention that he's very strong for someone his age and became a Hashira at a young age has proved how powerful he is even without the mark.

2) Gyokko's fighting skill and range isn't as far as Gyutaro and Daki, and he isn't as destructive with his surrounding that much compare to the siblings. His attacks mainly focuses on Muichiro and are quick to vanish into ashes at being slices, leaving not traces left behind.

3) Muichiro basically more stronger than Gyokko with the mark: he is poisoned and bleeding around but still maintain a perfect strength and skill to keep up with Gyokko. The mark probably helps in slowing the poison too. So the fight is done quicker than the last fight in entertainment arc.

I think it's just me, but maybe the factor of destruction of the surrounding and the exaggeration of movement can manipulate the length of time shown. Gyokko punches and swipes a lot after transforming into his last form, and Muichiro dodges and moves only in that area without the need to jump across many trees.

Also, maybe their fight is happening at the same time as Tanjirou and the others. See how fighting Hantengu seem to take more time? With his rank and ability, Hantengu has far range fighting skill, splitting up to clones and the area of the battle expand more. Aizetsu has smaller fighting range while his other clones can expand the area more like Sekido with his thunder striking, Karaku with his wind blasting and especially Urogi who flies around and has high frequency soundwave shrieks.

Then comes Zohakuten and his dragons, so Tanjirou, Nezuko and Genya have to move around like, a LOT, to dodge and plan counter attacks. Mitsuri comes along then and she, with her unique sword, also has far range fighting skill so along with her perfect acrobatics ability, she's in her zone in fighting Hantengu.

Again, these are just my speculation though 👁️👁️

(they also did so WELL on Muichiro's smirk, capturing the sinister smirk and mocking eyes)

Muzan was a bit annoyed that he wasn’t as scary or intimidating as he was before revealing his true personality to the Upper Moons, he wanted to be feared and to have power. He tried to remember what he did before he told the Upper Moons his real personality but it would be difficult since they now knew he was sensitive and timid.

He would try to use threats and talk in a low voice but the Upper Moons couldn’t take him seriously since they thought he was adorable. When Muzan tried to threaten them, he would try to come up with something scary but he didn’t want to actually hurt them so he tried to make light threats sound more terrifying.

“And if any of you disobey me, I’ll uh…haunt you in your dreams!” The Upper Moons picked up on the fact that he misses being feared so they would pretend to be intimidated to make him happy even though they were just in awe most of the time.

𝐃𝐚𝐤𝐢

She would have to stop herself from giggling since she thought he was too cute for his own good.

She felt like a mother doting on her child since she saw Muzan’s attempts to be scary just plain adorable.

She would look away at times just to let out a small giggle before turning back to act fearful.

She was never intimidated by Muzan since she knew he wouldn’t hurt her since he was too kind to even dream of bringing harm to them.

𝐆𝐲𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐨

He wasn’t surprised that Muzan wanted to be feared again although Gyutaro was able to tell the Muzan still had a kind look in his eyes so he wasn’t worried.

He always saw his sister giggling and it would make him chuckle, he did think this was kinda adorable of Muzan although he never really showed it.

Gyutaro always had a softer look than normal when he saw Muzan acting all tough, he felt like a proud father and it warmed his heart.

Gyutaro would be the one to tell everyone to act scared so they could make Muzan happy despite Muzan just being cute.

𝐆𝐲𝐨𝐤𝐤𝐨

He would think this was amusing but not in a bad way, he wouldn’t make fun of Muzan or mock him he would just play along with a smile.

When Gyokko would speak to Muzan, he would become a whole entire actor and would be shaking and stuttering to act like he was scared

Gyokko wasn’t afraid of Muzan so he didn’t mind the ‘threat’s Muzan gave every now and then.

When Muzan wasn’t around, Gyokko would express his care for him through his art and keep doting on him like a proud father.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮

He took his ‘threats’ seriously, he was the only one who was scared of Muzan and thought he was serious.

He would be shaking, screaming and crying and while the others thought it was an act, it wasn’t.

When Muzan saw Hantengu’s reactions, he felt a bit bad but was happy since he thought everything was going back to normal.

Hantengu saw Muzan as a terrifying yet somehow kind leader, he would try to do everything Muzan asked of him but he was still horrified.

𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐞

She also wasn’t intimidated but she just kept quiet, she would let a small smile appear here and there but never made a noise.

In Nakime’s eyes, she saw Muzan like her own child and would also pretend to be intimidated just to see that happy twinkle in his eyes.

She would watch over him and listen to his specific directions to make him feel happy and respected.

She couldn’t help but giggle at times since she sometimes thought Muzan was like a kid trying to act like a grown up.

𝐀𝐤𝐚𝐳𝐚

He did not hesitate to show many signs of respect towards Muzan, even though he knew Muzan was bluffing, he still took him seriously.

There were a couple times where he chuckled but he was quick to act formal and listen to Muzan’s commands and wishes.

He would scold and lecture Doma everytime he laughed at Muzan and called him adorable, Akaza did think Muzan was being cute but he got irritated when Doma wouldn’t take Muzan seriously

Akaza saw Muzan as a boss but also like a little brother, Akaza was willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill Muzan’s orders.

𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚

He would just burst out in laughter when Muzan ‘threatened’ them, he would be wheezing on the floor while calling Muzan’s act adorable and cute in between wheezes.

Everytime he laughed, one of the others would either yell at him or bonk him on the head but it only caused him to laugh more.

There were many times where Doma was dragged out of a meeting by Kokoshibo or Akaza since his laughter was not only making Muzan mad but also it was really annoying.

Doma saw Muzan as a small little child attempting to be a big grown up but whenever he would say that out loud, Akaza would smack him on the head.

𝐊𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐨

He didn’t really mind Muzan’s act so he just sat there and listened as much as he could before a fight broke out between Doma and Akaza.

Kokoshibo felt like the father of Muzan and the other Upper Moons since he was the mature one and always took care of them.

Kokoshibo would remain the same and not really change even when Muzan was ‘threatening’ them, he was more focused on the task at hand.

Kokoshibo would some times have to drag both Doma and Akaza out of the meetings to lecture them while telling them to go along with Muzan’s act.
