Superboy (Kon-El Kent) x Batsis! Reader

━━━━ what happens when her brothers find superboys jacket in their sisters room?

You did a little twirl, you looked nice. Making sure your attire was comfortable enough for your preference. You planned to sneak out again tonight to see Kon. It was kept a secret in fear of your families reaction. Mainly because they were extremely protective over you. Most of the time it was sweet, cute, harmless things they would do but knowing you're in a relationship might be too much for them to handle. You and him have been together for some time now. When everyone was gone on patrol or sleeping you would leave. Occasionally you would also meet in your hero personas. Regardless, Bruce gave you the day off and you're taking full advantage.

You looked yourself over one last time before leaving. You two were supposed to meet at a cafe, then you'll both go to your secret place in the woods. As cheesy as it sounds this was actually where you two met. It was unknown to anyone else and had a beautiful view of a lake overseeing a hill. You looked around to make sure your family didn't happen to patrol and see you. Luckily you made it just in time, Kon waved at you from the window with a dorky grin on his face. You smile back and enter sitting down in front of him at the booth.

"Hey, babe," Kon reached out to kiss your hand, "Hows the most beautiful gal in the universe doing?" You snorted, "better now that I'm with you, you cheese ball." His grin grew, "yeah but that's the part you love about me!" Bashfully you looked away a small smile playing in your lips. "Yeah, yeah.. we should get going before my family patrols neer here." You both got up, holding each other's hands as he held the door open for you. "Well aren't you a gentleman," You teased. "Thank you."

"No problem, gorgeous." He later scooped you up and you wrapped your arms around his neck. "Ready?" You gave a nod and he jumped up in the air, the wind was blowing and you held onto him tighter. You know that he would never drop you but it still made you feel more secure to be so close to him. You cracked open your eyes seeing the city down below, "if I could fly, I'd do it all day if this is what I see." He chuckles, "beautiful, right?"

"Yes, very." Soon enough you both landed at your secret location, there already was a picnic set up for the both of you-- curtsey of Kon. He sets you down and you gasp, "Kon, this is amazing!" Quickly you give him a peck on the lips, catching him by surprise. A light blush came on his face as he scratched the back of his head. "Well you always said you wanted to have a picnic here, so..." Smiling you grab his hand and pulled him down to sit on the blanket. "The view is breath taking!" You could see all the city lights, from afar it doesn't look to bad. Just a regular city. For a minute you just let the peace sink in and you let your guard down. You rest your hand on his, staring in his eyes. With him you feel safe, a comfort you didn't know you needed. Your other hand held his cheek, "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." You pull him in for a kiss, which he happily returns. You break apart only to climb onto his lap and kiss again.

Your hands roamed over his clothed chest, while his went down to your lower back. It wouldn't be the first time both of you had gotten into a heated makeout session, but you both have been so busy. The built of tension from weeks of not being able to see each other finally coming out tonight.

Despite the cold air and breeze every so often, you felt warm, heating off of one anothers bodies. It was easy to get lost in pleasure like this.

You were both left panting by the end of it. Embracing each other, cooling off your bodies. You kissed his nose, "I wish we could stay we forever..." he nods, "same, the things we could do.." he trails off, and you playfully smirk. "Oh, let what?" Kon looks over at you, "I think you know what I mean."

You slowly untangled yourselves, putting back on your clothes. Unfortunately for you, you were still cold. Kon noticed this and offered you his jacket which you gladly accepted. You opened the basket, seeing pop, water and some cookies and sandwiches. You both dig in, eating whatever you desired. The night was starting to come to an end, and as much as you wanted to stay forever-- your family would soon notice your disappearance.

He scooped you up like he had before, leaping in the air to take flight. He flew with you in his arms, and you took note of the time.

2:34 AM

They should be retiring for the night, assuming that it was a slow night. It wasn't uncommon for some of the family to pull all nighters to keep up with the criminals. You saw the mansion and made sure that Kon was careful with the highly advanced security. Your window was open for you to climb through.

You quietly crept inside, turning back to give Kon one last kiss. "Thanks, and be safe flying." He signed, "okay, that bird incident was one time." You laughed, "love you, Kon- good night." You blew him a kiss with he caught before flying off. You shut your window. Only realizing that you are still wearing his jacket. You rush back to the window to see if he is still there. Nope, he's gone.

You sighed, "I'll make sure to give it back next time I see him." You shut your curtains and take off his jacket. You looked around, before taking a smell of his jacket. As weird and embarrassing as it sounded you did enjoy wearing his things. You ended up throwing the jacket on your desk and plopped down on the bed. You were far too exhausted to do anything else.

The next morning you were greeted with sunlight peaking in through the curtains. It was the weekend-- thankfully. You didn't feel like dealing with your professors today. You changed into something more comfortable and did your normal morning routine. You looked over at the jacket on your desk, you family very rarely enters your room-- plus you didn't feel like hiding it. So instead you walked into the hallway. Jason and Dick left the mansion awhile ago to leave on there own.

However, they do drop by now and again. You sat down at the breakfast table, "Mornin' Tim." You grab some coffee and Tim looks up at you, "what is that on your neck?" You stop, "what?"

"It looks like you have a hickey on your neck." Tim gets up and walks over to you, probably to get a closer look. You slap your hand over your neck, "oh yeah that-- it is just a burn from my curling iron. Yeah... that." He doesn't look like he believes you in the slightest. "Well bye!" You rush out forgetting your coffee. You turn down the hall and bump into Dick, "wow, there kiddo- what's the rush?"

"Oh nothing," you say quickly. He eyes your suspiciously. You never were good at lying. Tim comes around the corner sipping his coffee. "She is in a rush because of the hickey on her neck." You glare at him. "What???" Dick looks at you then Tim. "Where?" Tim takes another long sip. "Her hand is covering it."

"Y/N, move your hand." Dick demands. You freeze. "Uh- no." You duck past him and make a bee line for the door. The front door opens and you run into Jason. "Hey- watch it!"

You hear Dick yell, "Stop her!" Jason confused let's you pass and you run away. You hear Dick arguing with Jason the further you get.

Dick sighs, "well she is gone now." Jason looks around, "can someone please tell me what is going on??" Bruce walks down the stairs. "Yes, tell me, what is happening? And where is Y/N?"

Damian approaches from behind Bruce, "Todd, what did you do?" Jason glares, "what did I do? I just got here!" Tim takes a loud sip, far to tried to care. "Y/N is dating someone- we don't know who." Bruce laughs, "very funny, I am sure that if she was she tell us."

Dick looks over at him. "She has a hickey, Bruce."

Bruce stops, his face paling. "What."

The next thing they did was go to "investigate" your room. Where they had found Superboys jacket. "Shes dating Superboy?" Tim asks holding up his jacket. Damian recoils in disgust. "And I thought father had bad taste."

"Well she is legally an adult- she can make adult decisions." Jason defended. "But why not tell us?" Dick intervened. "Does she not trust us?" He was kinda hurt by this. He would never judge you- you're family to him.

Damian tsked, "clearly she is embarrassed by her choice that she hid it." Jason rolled his eyes. "Bruce how are you handling this?"

Bruce had not talked yet. He finally says, "Get the kryptonite."

What started with one breakfast evolved to eating together, there was the change, a big one, in more than one occasion Megan would ask to know more recipes than the ones that she saw via TV in Mars, putting SB as a beta tester, because he would have more resistance than you.

"So? Is it good?" Maybe it was a little bit harsh, given the fact that it wasn't as Megan could poison someone with her cooking, maybe too much sugar or salt but no big problem.

But Superboy wasn't taking any chances, Wally could eat it, Aqualad too if he wanted and even Robin, but he was quite adamant in forbidding you when you tried to eat even one cookie if he didn't tasted it first.

It left many questions.

Maybe it was related to the fact of having a sore tummy by eating too many cookies that one time, but he wasn't taking any changes that it happened again apparently.

"They are good" no other word said, you started to eat, now these were salty cookies, which were a great balance to the chocolate cookies, combined with Megan's happy face.

"You are so good at this so soon" food wasn't exactly something that an Android like Red Tornado was concerned till the moment he got himself a child, one that he didn't expect to begin with.

And by result, you needed to learn before eating what he declared 'nutritional for kids your age' that was everything but appealing or tasty, but it was indeed nutritious, maybe?

But hey, Megan was happy, and even if she was from Mars, a girl's heart eyes were apparently the same independently from where they were from.

You were expecting some kind of romance in here, so many young people, so many hormones.

A little laugh, laughing at yourself before eating more cookies at once "Ah, I'm going to die alone".

Not thinking the weight of your words was something quite normal for you, at least when you were alone, which was your everyday life, but now you lived with more people.

People that looked at you worried by your words.

Being saved by an incoming call was good, being left alone not so much, but it was fine, it was normal.

What wasn't normal was having SB knocking on your door hours later with a worried expression, the music on speaker wasn't the most happy in the world and your aspect was far from good.

But he didn't say much, only approaching when you rolled to the other end on your bed, an invitation to your secluded bedroom, only sound came in the middle of the night from here, being music, metallic sounds or the constant tick and tack of the computer's keyboard, a long forgotten mug with some chocolate and coffee left in the middle of the disaster, he lowered the music in volume, of course he didn't sit in the place that you left, only looking at your form.

"Why do you believe that you're going to die alone?" Oh, recently caring Superboy, easily irritated but easily precious Superboy who cared about the others.

"Because so" a lame excuse, your face touching the familiar cover of your bed, this side was cold, a nice contrast in this summer night, with a black t-shirt and a pair of white shorts "in this life is normal for people to die alone, there may be many circumstances, but it's indeed a possibility"

Silence is not an option, the song has changed to something more moved but with a gray message.

"Why do you always take the cookies first?"

A knowing look, how can he be so calm now but be so powerful and furious out there?

"Because you are normal"

He says it with that look, like what he just said it's something obvious to the point that it wasn't even a question.

"Excuse me, what?" Knowing a possible answer wasn't enough, you needed to hear it from him.

"In reality, I'm not sure why you're here" you know he isn't saying this from rage, he has said worst things on those occasions "you're totally normal, you could die easily by many things, you're too fragile and this place is dangerous most of the times"

Superboy wasn't way too immerse in the things he says most of the times, he can say mean things when he is angry and need at least a few minutes to understand that he said something bad.

But Superboy was also honest to a fault when it didn't involved him.

Too honest for you.

And too confused for you suddenly leaving him there, in the middle of the corridor after closing the door too hard.

...so I actually write in Book’s Discord DMs but here’s that:

He was wet. Of all the things for Kon-El to notice, that was the first. Cold air seeped through the thin suit he wore, sending a shiver down his spine. A ring of seven scientists stood in a ring around his...

...his tube. His *first* tube.

"Experiment Thirteen is a success," one of the scientists breathed. It was the same scene as when he was decanted the first time, the first words he ever heard marking him as an object and not a person. That was a lesson it had taken him most of his life to unlearn. Kon remembered dying after sending Superboy Prime back where he belonged. He remembered staring up intk Cassie's eyes after he saved the world.

Yet here he was, back at the beginning.

He needed out. He needed *Kal*.

It wasn't hard to knock the Cadmus scientists out, followed by the guards. Though his Kryptonian powers were out of reach, his TTK could still get the job done. He fled the underground facility, the setting sun warming his face. He needed to find Kal. Quickly.

Kon couldn't hear as well as he used to, but Superman still could. "Superman," he started, cringing. He didnt know where to begin explaining this. "Kal-El. *Clark*." Kon swallowed. That would certainly get his attention, at least. "I need your help. Meet me behind the Cavandish building. Please. It's urgent."

He was banking on the memory that Kal wasn't dead when he was first decanted. That he was planned far before the death of Superman. He would give it an hour. If Kal didn't show, then he would find Tim. He would know what to do.

Turns out, he didn't have to wait. Kal was there when he landed, hovering menacingly. "Who are you?" He demanded. Didn't it just break Kon's heart to know his father-brother-cousin didn't recognize him.

"Kon-El. Connor Kent." He replied earnestly. "I need help, Kal. I think I time traveled."

So that’s... have fun with that

Honestly? The best advice I’ve ever been given was “Take it easy, but take it.” Any progress is progress and sometimes you just have a bad day. Even if you get nothing done, typing a few words is better than none. Also sprints are a godsend. Join a writing server. Talk to people. It’ll help

what could be really fun is the bat members reactions to finding out that their best friend has knocked up their batsis XD i.e Bruce-Clark, Dick-Wally, Jason-Roy, Tim-Kon, Damian-Jon that sort of thing

This assumes that the Reader is the same age as the Batfam and lover mentioned.

Bruce Wayne:

Of course, he knows that you and Clark are together. Clark had talked to Bruce before he asked you out, partly to avoid a scene and partly because he figured Bruce already knew. Bruce doesn’t know any details about your sex life and aims to keep it that way. That doesn’t stop him from scowling when you both come to him, more than a little sheepish.

He struggles between wanting to scold you both and terror at being an uncle. The two of you are adults damn it! You should know better than this! After the lecture of a lifetime, he’s more open to the idea, mostly because you’re so happy he can’t take that joy away from you.

If you thought Bruce was protective before, think again. You having a baby drives him into overdrive and even Clark is stunned by how much he’s running himself ragged. Your brother spares no expense helping you get ready and you’ll have to put your foot down to get him to stop. Clark might have to deal with a couple of extra dirty looks here and there but all in all it goes over relatively smoothly.

Dick Grayson:

Dick struggles with you and Wally. He loves you both so much but he doesn’t love how mushy Wally can be with you. There’s no irony lost to you, Dick complaining about Wally being too physically affectionate in public but you keep your mouth shut. Overall, Dick is happy for the two of you being together but he’s shocked when you tell him about the baby.

You both get a lecture that could rival Bruce’s. Wally tries to help by providing more details about how the two of you ‘have been safe’ but that sparks a ‘thanks I really want to know that about my sister’. In the end neither of you can win and you just have to let Dick get it out of his system.

He’s the one to ask outright if the two of you are going to stay together or not. Breaking up isn’t something you and Wally had talked about but Dick’s question does cause some awkward tension. It’s a good conversation to have and you both agree to stay together but Dick is the one who starts it. He’s over the moon at that point and is happy about the baby. He had been nervous about picking between you and Wally and now? Now he can go into doting uncle mode.

Jason Todd:

Jason had been nervous when Roy asked you out. He loves Roy but he knows that the two of you are going to get into trouble all the time. You’re both fun loving and he knows it’s going to lead to some wild adventures. He didn’t expect that adventure to be parenthood.

Did he handle it well? No and he’s man enough to admit it. There was some yelling and slamming into walls, especially when Jason mentions Liam. He knows that your relationship is much more stable that Roy’s relationship with Cheshire but it still has him being nervous. The two of them work it out quickly but it’s a tense couple of hours. Jason is able to handle it well considering what’s going on and you appreciate that no one is hurt.

Jason knows that Roy is a great dad and will be there for your kid no matter what. It makes him feel good to see you interact with Liam and how much the little girl adores you. It gives him hope that the two of you will work out for the long haul. He doesn’t know how to react when you tell him that you want him to be the godparent; he did not cry damn it!

Tim Drake:

Tim can’t say he’s surprised if he’s being honest with himself. He knew that Kon and you had been dating for over six months now, he was waiting for you to come clean about it. It’s hard being a great detective and having to lie to keep his friends happy. He’s not at all happy that the only reason you tell him is because you’re pregnant.

He gets insecure about it, not that he’ll say it out loud. The two of you have always been close and it’s not like he doesn’t approve of Kon. Tim loves the guy. He questions if the two of you had been close or if it was all in his head. There’s some avoiding that Kon eventually has to intervene in, sitting all three of you down to talk. It clears the air, even if there are some tears.

He’s really supportive of the two of you being parents, even if Kon is freaking out. He does his best to support his best friend, going to classes with him and learning how to be good parent. Tim becomes an excellent baby sitter and offers to babysit all of the time. He’s a godsend.

Hello everyone! I reached 1.7K last night and then this morning I was back down to 1698. But I thought “what the hell?” so I’m posting it anyway. I’ve been wanting to host a writing challenge for a few months now and I was going to wait but when I hit 1.7K I thought what better excuse than to celebrate!

So here are the rules:

Three people per prompt, and you can choose up to three prompts to write for. Please tell me what characters you will be writing for as well.

Please make sure you check the list before requesting to make sure it’s still not full or already taken for a character you wish to write for.

You may do smut but please tag appropriately. No incest, rape, homophobia, racism, pedophilia.

A few of the songs are listed as Explicit. They are meant for 18+ writers only. Please don’t write anything 18+ if you yourself are not 18+.

You do not have to be following me to enter.

15. Is there an obscure ship which you love?

I mean. 75% of the ships I love are “obscure”. I... I always find the very obvious mainstream ships... boring. I mean, sometimes I find them nice in canon, but mostly I find canon to provide enough about them that I don’t really need fandom to get more of it, you know? Or, which also often happens, I find the mainstream ships have more of a very strong friendship-dynamic, or even a sibling-dynamic in some cases, and I just can’t really find it in myself to want to see them in a romantic way.

So, if I have to pick an, as in one, obscure ship, I will have to go with my top OTP. Jagnus. Jace and Magnus literally lived together, in both the show-canon and the book-canon, yet somehow it is an “obscure” ship. I mean, not somehow, we all know why. It’s the unwritten fandom rule of “canon mlm shall NEVER EVER BE BROKEN UP HOW DARE YOU SHIP ONE WITH SOMEONE ELSE”. You have no idea how often that rule has come between me and my OTP. Basically every time there is a canon mlm ship, really.

And this in no way or shape means to criticize those who only ship canon and are content with it, you do you, but I do find the lack of creativity in shipping in fandom where there is a canon mlm ship... really damn boring. Fandoms without canon mlm representation have the wildest constellations of ships, have a far broader variety of content, but when there is canon mlm, the majority of a fandom tends to just happily sit down with it and hug it and prefer not to be creative with the content and the shipping. And as a certified multishipper, I don’t really get that - like, even if you like the canon, you could have multiple ships?

17. Who was your first OTP and are they still your favourite?

My first OTP was Shere Khan/Bagheera, because gods do I love Jungle Cubs. And while other ships I interact more with have pushed it off the throne, if I see any form of Sheregheera content, I am immediately sucked in, no questions asked, no hesitation. I am utterly in love with this very rare, small, very obscure actually, ship and I will always love it and it still is one of my favorites.

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

Ooof. Interesting one. I’ve done a variety of PJO fics I’m particularly fond of in previous versions of such a question, so let’s go with something else this time. “The Lost Soulmarks”. It’s, at this point, probably my own personal most reread story. I just reread it the other night, actually. It just - it hits all of the right spots in what I want from a fic. Very often, I write to please my readers, with “What do my followers like most?” in my mind at least to a certain degree, but some things are absolutely self-indulgent. And I should really write more absolutely self-indulgent fics because those are the ones I myself keep coming back to. It has ABO-verse, it has soulmates, it’s Jace-centric, with lots of love, misunderstandings but not the kind where one of them is to blame but rather where it’s due to the circumstances, it’s really emotionally painful, but pays off in the end. It’s... seriously those are all the things I love.

Avengers, WinterIron: “(Iron Is A) Star Killer” by RayShippouUchiha - a fic I read... a while ago and recently rediscovered with the latest update and am now desperately waiting for more!

Avengers, WinterIron: “An Unempty Nest” by gryvon - same as the one above, I read this a while ago and forgot about it and recently rediscovered it for myself and still love it

Avengers, Steve/Bucky/Tony/Tony: “Second Chance (at happiness)” by SailorChibi - I got this fic recommended and devoured it in one sitting and have since then checked nearly daily for updates because I greatly enjoy it!

*bangs potts and pans together* JAGNUS JAGNUS JAGNUS SERIOUSLY THEY LIVED TOGETHER. THEY LITERALLY WERE ROOMMATES. IN ANY OTHER FANDOM THAT’D HAVE TAKEN OFF LIKE NOTHING ELSE. THE PARALLELS BETWEEN THEM!! LET. MY. GOLDEN. EYED. BOYS. FIND. HAPPINESS. IN. EACH. OTHER.
