to you, lil' kookie
Tumblr media
Jungkook felt his senior’s arms strongly around his crouched body, his grip tightening with each inhale of breath. Joon always used to speak to him softly, but today he was even more cautious.
“She is not coming back, Kookie. Okay? She won’t come back.”
Salty tears stained Joon’s shirt, but he didn’t mind. His younger brother was hurt in a way he had never been hurt before. Joon would turn back time if he could. He would go back long before Jungkook met you, long before you could break his heart. Unfortunately, though, he couldn’t.
Joon patted his head softly while whispering.
“You are going to be okay, Kookie. You are going to be okay.” Jungkook started sobbing harder, gasping for air as he cried out.
“How? How can I be okay if she doesn’t want me? Tell me how, hyung?”
In the weeks prior his friends tried everything to cheer him up.
Jin took him to a fancy salon to get him a fresh look but all he saw were his sad eyes.
Hobi flew him out to LA to go out dancing with actors and models, but he just stood in the corner watching, too sad to even move.
Jimin tried setting him up with other girls, one more beautiful than the other, but everyone he met reminded him of you.
Yoongi bought every brand of liquor available but even the bitterest taste couldn’t erase the sweetest memory of you.
Taehyung took him out to the peaceful forest to spend some time in solitude, but being alone with his thoughts was even worse.
And Joon? Joon just went straight in – “face your demons and conquer them“, he used to say.
Jungkook stared at the empty, emerald green journal which was gifted to him by his hyung. He scoffed, too annoyed to even try writing about his feelings. How was he even supposed to start? Joon once told him that if love got taken away from us, it’s the small child within us that suffers the most.
“You think you need the other person but what you really need is you.”
Jungkook had no idea where Joon took all his wisdom from. Was he right? Should he give this a try? He clasped his hands above his head, trying to think straight.
“It’s not like there is something else I want to do anyway”, he mustered to himself.
Jungkook opened the black journal and stumbled upon the first page. Joon had left him a little note: “To you, little Kookie.” He smiled wholeheartedly, touched by his friend’s affection for him.
Jungkook scratched the back of his head, unsure how to even begin writing to his younger self. “Don’t overthink it. Just let it flow. This is a safe space for you, Kookie. It needs to be.”
He grabbed a pencil and started writing.
Dear little Kookie,
He scratched what he wrote and shook his head in resistance.
“God, I sound so stupid. Why am I doing this?” He thought back to his conversation with Joon.
“Picture yourself as a little kid if you find it hard to write to yourself. It’s not like you’re writing to a stranger. You are talking to yourself.”
Dear little Kookie,
Dear little Kookie,
Not gonna lie – I feel stupid doing this right now. But if we’re being brutally honest right now, I have felt stupid for quite some time now. It didn’t work out with y/n and I feel devastated. I really wanted her. I really wanted her to want me. But I guess I wasn’t her type after all.
So, she broke my heart, blocked my number and left me like I didn’t matter. My friends tried everything to make me feel better, but they failed. Hyung made me write to you, so I guess this is my last hope. I don’t even know what to say though?
Are you as sad as me?
Jungkook stared at the last sentence, hoping for some kind of interaction. He laughed at himself after realizing what he was doing.
“Who am I, Harry Potter?” He chewed on his pencil for a while before continuing writing.
You are as sad as me, huh? Guess we both feel like shit. I tried everything to run away from feeling like that. Didn’t work.
Is this forever? Can we change? Can we heal? Hyung told me about relationships, you know. He is very smart but sometimes he says things that go way over my head. He said that the most important relationship I have is with you, little Kookie. With me, I suppose.
And I neglected you for a while, didn’t I?
Jungkook interrupted his writings to get himself a drink. Facing his pain was harder than he thought. Yoongi’s brown liquor burned in his throat, but he gladly welcomed another kind of pain for once.
I am sorry, little Kookie. I am sorry that you and I have to go through this. And I’m also sorry that we had to face so much pain in the past, too. Dating is hard, don’t you think?
Loving is even harder. I am sorry for all the trouble I put you through. I never really tended to your wounds, did I? Instead, I waited for someone external to mend them for us. Sorry I neglected you all these years.
He took a deep breath before thinking about you.
Little Kookie, I am sorry for how it went down with y/n. I am sorry that I did everything imaginable to convince her I was worthy of her love while you were dying inside from heartbreak. I tried to give her everything until nothing was left of me.
I am sorry I didn’t notice you. I wasn’t there, I was too occupied with her. Y/N neglected me whilst I neglected you. I should have been here with you. I should have held your hand and reassured you. I am sorry I made you question yourself. I should have let her go and focus on you and me. I should have told you how amazing you are. How great you are. And that you are worthy of love, that you deserve to be loved. If she can’t see that, then it’s her loss.
But I didn’t. I was mean to you – and me. I lay there crying every night, wondering why I wasn’t good enough for her. I tortured myself thinking that she would find someone better than me anyway. And then she did.
I should have chosen you, but I chose her instead. And that backfired.
Jungkook sat silently crying in front of his journal. Joon was right – it felt good to get this off his chest, even if the pain was bittersweet.
“You can go on and paint her as the villain or you could use your energy on you, Kookie. Don’t you think you’re finally worth your own attention for once?”
Jungkook let his head fall back in exhaustion, thinking of all the ways he had mistreated himself. He thought back to all those moments in which he behaved like a person without a backbone, or self respect. Like a wolf starved of love he would have taken anything from you, too weak to even realize how poisonous you were.“
“I used to ask her why she didn’t want me. Why didn’t she love me? Why did she only use me? Was that all I was good for? Is this all I’m ever going to be?”
He gulped harder, holding back tears.
“All this time I felt like worthless shit. And so did little Kookie. I tried so hard for her to love me so I could finally feel whole again. I can only imagine how little Kookie must have felt.”
Shame accompanied by disgust clouded his body.
“I have made a complete fool out of myself by begging her to love me. How pathetic is that? I chased someone who didn’t want me. For months I let her play me like a fiddle. Why did I do that? Why did I do that to us?”
Soon, his feelings of self-attack merged into something greater – a hunger for healing.
Little Kookie, I don’t know what the future will hold for us, but I promise you I will be better. And I will make you proud. I won’t rely on someone else to make us feel whole again.
Or loved. I can love you for the both of us. I have no idea how I’m going to do this but I’m sure hyung will help me. Can you forgive me?
He hugged himself tightly, squeezing his arms in response to the sadness he was feeling.
“Hyung was right. Even if it takes time, I will be alright again. Me and little Kookie will be alright this time. We have to be.”

2014.
(18-year-old Jungkook, 28-year-old Y/n)
Jungkook recently graduated from high school and was getting ready to go abroad to college to study game and graphic design. His family was throwing him a going away party; of course, you couldn't miss it.
"I can't believe Jungkookie is going off to college. When did he get so big?" you asked, faintly reminiscing the times when Jungkook was younger.
"I'm going to miss him, even though he annoys me so much," Yuna smiled.
You laughed. "I'm sure he'll be back to visit and annoy you when he has holidays. And you could always go visit him."
Yuna gasped, "Oh, good idea! We could make a trip out of it."
"I've always wanted to visit California. The beaches look amazing."
The two of you continued to finish the remaining party tasks. Their mom went all out to celebrate her baby boy growing up and moving halfway across the world. Like all mothers, she was against him leaving, but you and Yuna convinced her to let him go. Jungkook deserved to live life and experience new things, and he was fiercely independent, so you didn't have to worry much about him - he'd figure things out on his own.
"So... how's it going with U-jin?" Yuna asked reluctantly, knowing there was some restlessness between you.
You looked at your best friend, biting your bottom lip. "It's," you paused, "good," you mumbled. It was not good. The two of you had been spending a lot of time apart, but you didn't want to alarm Yuna about it.
Yuna gave you a look, halting her task of setting the table. "Why are you saying it like that?"
Shrugging, you asked, "Like what? He's nice, has money, a good job, and comes from a good family, but I feel we don't have that spark, you know? He's reliable, but he doesn't make me–"
"Make you come," Yuna interjected.
Maybe you should have kept some details of your sex life to yourself instead of spilling it to Yuna, but you were frustrated with how things were going with U-jin, and you needed to vent. Sex was fine with U-jin - nothing mind-blowing.
"Who doesn't make you come?" A voice interrupted from behind the pair of you.
You choked on nothing, "Jungkook!" You made a face as you elbowed Yuna. Oh god, Jungkook didn't need to hear about how you weren't satisfied in your relationship. "No one."
"Exactly, no one." Yuna laughed, "It's her boyfriend." She leaned in, whispering to Jungkook, "He doesn't make her come."
Jungkook awkwardly nodded, not wanting to hear about your sex life…but only because, you know..of his little crush on you. "Ah…"
You nudged Yuna harder this time. "Kookie, don't listen to your sister. She's nuts. And don't talk about this stuff around Jungkook," you said, the last part gritting through your teeth. This was embarrassing, and no one needed to know how bad your sex life was.
"Huh? Wha-why not?" He was confused, and he wasn't stupid. He knew what you guys were talking about. "I've touched a boob...or two," Jungkook explained, trying to sound cool but realizing he probably sounded like a tool.
The two of you chuckled at young Jungkook, giving him an okay look. You almost wanted to grill him on what girl allowed him to go to second base.
"Cause you're still a baby. C'mere my widdle baby Jungkook," Yuna said mockingly in a baby voice.
Jungkook rolled his eyes at his sister, "Shut up. I'm not a baby. I'm a grown man, about to head off to college," he refuted, puffing out his chest and straightening his posture.
You stepped closer to Jungkook and squinted, bringing your thumb and index finger to hold his chin, "I don't see any hair." You couldn't help but tease him too.
He smacked your hand away and rubbed his chin. "Noonaaaa, why do you have to rub it in? It'll grow one day, and I haven't peaked yet. Just wait and see. I'll come back as a completely different person."
And you were sure that he would. He'd get some life experience being out there by himself. Of course, a part of you couldn't help but worry since he'd be so far away from family, but he's a big boy, and he'd figure it out.
"I'm swure you will, my widdle Jungkookie. Coochie coochie goo," you taunted him, trying to tickle his chin.
Jungkook waved you off. "Aye--I give up. I can't with you guys." He tried his best to look 'grown up,' but the two of you still saw him as a baby.
Yuna's phone went off in her pocket. She looked at the caller ID. "Oh--mom's calling me. Y/n, can you finish setting up the table?"
She handed you the napkins and utensils, and you continued setting the table as he followed you.
"Noona," you peered up at the young man of the hour, "thanks for coming."
Grinning from ear to ear, you beamed at him. Jungkook always had a soft spot in your heart and was always sweet to you when he wasn't being bratty. "Of course, I can't miss my Jungkookie's going away party. You're going to have so much fun in college. Don't go too crazy, but if you're ever in trouble and can't tell Yuna, you can call me, and I'll bail you out."
You'd rather have him call you than Yuna. She'd probably scold him and drag his ass back home, but you, well, you'd do the same with more love in your tone.
"Promise?"
You beamed at the doe-eyed boy, "I promise."
"Can I call to catch up too?"
Shaking your head at the sweet boy, "I'd love to hear about all the wild adventures you'll have in college. Just don't drunk dial me, okay?"
He laughed. "I can't promise that."
Your phone began buzzing in your back pocket. "Oh--now I'm getting a call," you looked to see it was your boyfriend. "Ah, it's U-jin. Can you finish setting the table? I'm going to take this real quick."
He grabbed what you had left in your hands. When you veered off to take the call, Jungkook couldn't help but pay attention to you rather than his task. You seemed frustrated, pacing back and forth as the call continued. When it ended, you stuffed your phone in your pocket, huffing as you returned to Jungkook.
"Everything okay?" he asked, setting a napkin down and then placing chopsticks and a spoon on top.
You didn't want him to worry. "Mmhm, it's perfect."
It was apparent you were lying. You were an easy read, and Jungkook had been around you for too long not to notice when you were upset.
"Come on.. what's going on?" he asked again.
He wasn't going to let this go, huh? "Just another excuse from U-jin for why he can't go on our weekend anniversary trip. We'd planned it for months, and he didn't even care to ask for it off. God, I feel so stupid sometimes."
You also felt stupid for telling your problems to an 18-year-old, as he'd care about what was going on with you.
"Oh," Jungkook's heart sank when he could hear the disappointment in your voice. "I'm sorry. And Noona, you're not stupid, and he is if he's acting that way."
"It's fine. I'm used to it."
Jungkook was bewildered by how loosely you held the standard of how your boyfriend should treat you. "But you shouldn't be used to it. He's your boyfriend, and aren't you supposed to be a priority in his life?"
You looked at him and smiled. You wished it was that easy. He was young, still full of hope, optimistic about love, and probably a romantic at heart. You couldn't blame him, and you were like that once too.
He knitted his eyebrows in confusion. "What?"
You snickered, thinking he was cute. "Whoever ends up with you will be a lucky one. Here, let me finish this. Go and enjoy your party. We're here to celebrate you."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
Even though you had brushed it off, Jungkook couldn't help but worry about you. It's not like he could do anything, and he could only hope you realized that you deserved better than your current boyfriend.
Tumblr media
(Present Day)
Jungkook went to Yuna's apartment and dropped off some side dishes their mom had made for them. "Here." He pushed the food bag in her hands and immediately turned around to head back out.
"Yah. We need to talk." Yuna grumbled. She didn't want to keep talking about this whole situation, she was hoping it would just dwindle, but she knew it wouldn't.
"About?" Jungkook acted like he didn't already know.
Yuna opened the door wider, inviting him in. "Do I have to tell you?"
"Fine." He sat with arms and legs crossed on her couch, trying to avoid looking in her direction. He already knew that she would scold him and tell him he was too young and not mature enough. "Is Namjoon-hyung here?" He asked, looking around the apartment. He needed a buffer between him and his sister, but it looked like that wasn't happening.
"No… he's at work," Yuna narrowed her eyes at Jungkook. Was he hoping to have Namjoon on his side or something? Because, well, Namjoon was.
"Help me understand why you like her so much?"
He scoffed and leaned forward. "You're her best friend. You should understand why she's a catch."
Yuna licked her lips. It was an unfair question, and she knew it. You were her ride or ride, the one person who's been a constant in her life, her 'person.' "She is an amazing human, but I don't know why you, of all people, would pursue her. Are you doing this for attention or something? Are you jealous that I'm getting married?"
Jungkook sighed and threw his hands up. "Do you hear yourself right now? Why are you making this about you?"
She nervously bit her bottom lip, unsure of how she felt about her brother dating her best friend, let alone doing other things with her and vice versa.
He continued, "Noona…me? Jealous of you and Namjoon-hyung? I couldn't be happier that you've found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Why don't you let me and Y/n discover if we have something like you and hyung?"
"Do you remember my going away party? The one before I left to go abroad?"
She nodded yes.
"She took a call from U-jin, and I wish you could have seen the look on her face. I never want to see her look disappointed again. She deserves the world," Jungkook explained his reasoning - a part of it, at least. He could go on and on as to why he loved you so much.
Yuna sighed, "But my best friend?"
There were plenty of women, but none of them were you. "Noona, I'm sorry. I can't help who I like."
"I guess I can't stop you if you like her."
"So, is this an 'okay' from you?" Jungkook was already screeching inside at his sister's approval.
Yuna grumbled, "I guess."
Jungkook grinned. He knew this was only the beginning. "So, that's it? Don't you have something else to say to me?"
"Like what?"
"An apology, for instance."
Yuna scoffed, "Apologies for what?"
"You're kidding me, right? Noona, you said some pretty terrible things to Y/n and me. You're telling me you don't regret any of it?"
Tongue in her cheek, Yuna knew that she needed to put on her big girl pants and apologize. She hated being wrong, but Jungkook was right. In the heat of the moment, she said some things she wished she didn't. “I’m sorry, Jungkook. This whole thing with you and Y/n threw me off, and I wasn't prepared. I wish I had a heads up, that's all."
Jungkook pursed his lips and nodded his head, accepting Yuna's apology. "Noona, this all happened very quickly, and I don't think anyone was prepared for this."

"BATMAN SMELLS! THE JOKER GOT AWAY!"

"That got her to stop"
"Scout, why you always have to sing this every time we try to sing Jin- the song about the bells jingling"
"It's a fun reference!"
"Sigh, we can never get into the laughing part..."
"Oh we have an Annon!"
"Great! *reads* oh it's for Mo- Amy!!"

Great job, sweetie.
"Thank you, my dear Martha *wink*"
*blushes* Owy, not in front of the kids.
Ejem! Hello, dearie!
Sorry for takin' a bit to respond. Owen, our team, and I have been quite busy organizing our Holiday charity event + helping Nick Nack work on his stage play for "A Christmas Carol"
So far we have been preparing ourselves when the snow arrives and the studio gets chilly like a Popsicle in a freezer.
"And I'm waiting for the school to close due to all the snow!"
"And you get twice as homework!"
"Let me have this, sister..."
Well, Daisy and Annie have been working their best putting our Christmas decorations. I got Owy and I some Rudolph and Clarice's onesies for our Christmas slumber party. Last year We were Mr. and Mrs. Klaus, this time we settled for a Rankin/Bass classic.
"And Mrs. Kruber kneaded us new sweaters to wear"
"And Riley got Rosco one of those Christmas light necklace!"
"And Nick and Daisy won't stop singing those carols!"
"Well, they're part of the Christmas chorus along with the other puppeteer kids."
"Now you broke character."
Riley, you are quite close of getting to dress as Who!
"Anyways, I heard Amy and Father were planning on singing a nice duet for the Studio's Christmas celebration again!"
Oh, right!
"*Gulps* Don't bring that up"
Oh, but you two sounded so wonderful, last year!"
"Daisy, Read. The. Room."
Scout, dress rehearsals. Now.
"Let me grab the camera!"
"At least we agree in something for once, Nick"
*sighs* Well, we gotta go. Thank you so much for your ask, Annon and happy holidays!

Our little love part 2 - mafia/yandere au Drabble {angst + fluff}
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As always please let me know what you think, I am actually going to go to bed now my brain is angry with me for not sleeping.
It seemed the cycle was never ending, you fucking up and pissing them off, them punishing you by drowning you in their love, only letting you come up to breathe so you could swim in your own guilt and submit to them.
You wince as the victim to your latest fuck up gets another blow to his chest. Taehyung and Hobi held onto his arms as Jungkook and Jimin kick and punch the poor individual. You know not to speak, it’ll only make things worse. Temperament was a fickle thing in their lives, trust was everything, and you still had to build yours up again.
“Y/n help please,” Kai whimpers as you stood with your arms crossed looking away.
“Don’t fucking say her name,” Jungkook growled before punching your ex colleague in the face. You’re frowning, the need to beg them to stop was fighting for exit on the top of your tongue, but you bite it down and pray Kai doesn’t say another word. You know if you do as he asks they’d kill him. Your punishment was to watch silently.
Yoongi strolls up behind you, hands in his pockets before he rests his head on your shoulder, watching the display in front of you both.
“Nothing to say little love?” He whispers as your friend groans out in pain.
Please don’t kill him, you want to say, but you just shake your head in defeat. You want to believe they’re better than this, but the evidence of the contrary was never hidden from you. They showed you every side of them whether proud of it or not with bold eyes daring you to stop loving them, pushing your boundaries and morals waiting for you to snap. But the breaking point never came, you loved them, you shouldn’t and you knew it, but you did. You were completely and utterly theirs, yet still they treated you like you hadn’t seen the worst of them. Like you would run away the second you realised they were monsters, not that they would let you run far, only far enough to let you take a single breath before making you drown in them once again.
Yoongi wraps his arms around your waist, keeping an eye on your reactions. The asshole deserved it, not that they cared either way, he tried to take you away from them, that was enough.
Kai was your old partner before you took a very early retirement, what you didn’t know was that he continued the case you were working on before you left; the case of the seven men you now loved and the reason you quit said job. He had called you to meet up for old times sake and you, very naively in Yoongi’s mind, decided it was harmless. But if it was harmless why didn’t you say anything to the boys? You thought Kai didn’t know the reason you handed in your resignation, but he had been keeping an eye on you all before he realised you were the key to their downfall. He knew you harboured some feeling for him in the past and thought you’d reciprocate when he tried to flirt his way into getting his hands on the evidence you collected, he didnt know you burned it all. You lied to him and said you lost it, same difference anyway. This prompted plan b from him.
“Y/n they’re criminals,” he had said to you. “You’re a cop at heart you can’t love them.”
You floundered at his words when you realised he knew, and yet he still asked you to betray them.
“Kai I think I need to go...”
It was a mistake, you knew it then, but he followed you out onto the street and you hoped tonight the men you loved weren’t keeping an eye on you. Maybe naive was an understatement.
“Are they coercing you Y/n! Do they have something on you or are they threatening you?” He calls after you. “Because the Y/n I know would never love killers, what have they done to you?”
It was when he reached his hand out to grab your arm that your boyfriends decided to show themselves from the shadows. Which lead to the situation now, Kai beat up and bruised beyond recognition, and you forced to watch. He falls unconscious and they let him drop to the floor, you hate this side of them, it was cruel and cold but you’d never leave. They turn to face you now, their anger still present despite the last hour of releasing it onto your old partner. They don’t miss the way you’re shaking, the shallow breaths as you try and keep your tears to yourself. As much as you hate their violence, you hate their disappointment in you more.
——————————————————————————
You’re sitting in Joonie’s lap for what you call the debriefing of your punishment, this happened way too often in your opinion. You look down but he wasn’t having it today, tilting your head to look at him by your chin.
“Why did you get punished today little love?” He starts the same way as usual.
“I went out without telling you guys where I was going or who with,” you say while fiddling with your fingers out of nervous habit.
“And?” Hobi sits across from you in a chair, legs straddling the back and an elbow rested on top with his fist holding up his face. Hobi was hardest to pacify, he was ruthless and unforgiving and while that didn’t extend to you, you still had a hard time with his stubborn anger.
“I met up with Kai, and I let him touch me,” you’ve done this too many times before to not know how it worked. Kai’s ‘touch’ obviously meant nothing to you but for them it was the worst crime anyone could commit against their little love.
You remember the time you nearly tripped in the park and a guy steadied you politely, but you still had to hold Jungkook back from throwing hands.
“Kookie would you rather I fell and hurt myself?” No he hadn’t wanted that so he grumbled in agreement still seething but you cooled it down. “Instead of hitting him maybe you should thank him,” it was a joke but it made the youngest scoff.
“Baby girl why can’t you just be good?” Namjoon’s sigh brings you back to the present. “Why do you always have to test us like this?”
You didn’t mean to, you want to say it but the words are stuck below the sob in your throat. You actually whimper as his tone, bottom lip wobbling pathetically. He hadn’t even told you off properly, but you already felt like a mess as he bathed you in his disappointment. That was the common consequence of your actions and you hated it, you couldn’t do anything right.
——————————————————————————
“Jin do you need help with the food?” You ask your eldest boyfriend politely, he was frowning and you thought it was because today’s meal was too much for him to handle alone, his tone of voice made you realise it was because of you.
“No, I’m alright,” he doesn’t look at you as he speaks and you’re left gaping at him like a fish. Jin loved it when you cooked with him, it was your bonding time without the others, although Yoongi would join you from time to time. The others also tried but Jin wouldn’t let them anywhere near the kitchen, they hogged you enough anyway.
You feel your soul deflate, still standing there as he ignored you.
“Are you mad at me too?”
The way you said it made his heart twinge with guilt, but the others were right you wouldn’t learn and your first betrayal was still fresh on their minds. He sighs and you turn away, refusing to crying in front of them for the tenth time that day. What was wrong with you? Ever since that day where they found out who you really were you felt like you werent enough anymore, you tried so hard to make up for it all but you kept messing up. You weren’t like this before, but after seeing the hurt you put them through you were constantly on edge and second guessing yourself. You wish you could go back and stop them from ever finding out.
Jin hears the sniffle as you walk away and he can’t go through with it.
“Wait little love,” he calls for you. “I forgot to cut the onions, would you mind?”
You shake your head, you didn’t mind, but you didn’t trust your voice to answer for you. Youre grateful to Jin for giving you this task, it hides the fact you’re crying, but you know he doesn’t miss it.
——————————————————————————
Jimin and Taehyung were giving you narrowed stern gazes through dinner, it put you off your food which resulted in getting told off by Jin just after he branched out to you in the kitchen.
You felt alone, like the seven men you loved were against you and there was no one to blame but yourself.
“I’m sorry,” you say quietly before getting up and removing yourself from the dinner table and dining room, ignoring all of their stares. You decide maybe an early night is best, you could start again fresh tomorrow. You don’t get too far up the stairs before a hand pulls you back, you turn to see Jimin with Tae a few steps behind him.
You’re so used to seeing them laugh and play around that it feels like you’re looking at different people. Even during missions or gun fights, the youngest three were always joking their way through the bloodshed, keeping scores of who got the most headshots and other grotesque games. You remember the time Jimin and Tae called you during he middle of a shoot out, arguing with you and each other over who you loved more out of the two while you begged them to not get shot or killed.
“Why did you go see him Y/n?” Jimin asked, he wore the demeanour he used for enemies and it takes you back to that night.
“I... h-he said he wanted to see me to catch up,” you explain but you know it’ll fall on deaf ears.
“And you thought that was a good idea, to see your old cop buddy?” His tone makes you feel stupid, you weren’t stupid.
“He was my friend Jimin,” you say in disbelief, you know in the end it was a mistake but at the time it didn’t seem like the worst idea in the world.
“You’re ours,” Taehyung moved forward, towering over you even though he’s a step below you. His face is close to your own, eyes burning into yours as he looks disgusted at the words that left your mouth as if they’re still attached to you. “How do you think we felt when you went to see another detective? Do you have any idea what was going through our heads?”
“Tae I love you,” you lean away from him, searching his face for a hint of softness and love in his gaze, but there was only fire. “You know I wouldn’t, you all know I wouldn’t, I left that life for you why would I turn back to it?”
He stalks away from you without a word, Jimin close behind, giving you a final cold glance before leaving you alone. You thought your love could make them better but if anything you made their darkness worse.
——————————————————————————
Jungkook needed to vent, the only way he knew how was physically. Obviously it wasn’t the cleverest thing he’s done, taking rounds with the punching bag only to open up the cuts on his hand from beating the bastard earlier. He mutters a few curse words under his breath, why did you make matters worse? Maybe they were being harsh on you before today, finding any excuse to punish you a little, test your boundaries and see if you would run, but today they honestly feared that was what happened. They thought you chose to leave them and go back to the life you had before them, but they’d never let you go, they couldn’t let you go. Despite everything you loved them and they worshipped the ground you walked on. You were everything for them now, there’s be no point to any of them without you. Why didn’t you understand that?
He throws another punch to the bag, spreading his blood across them, it hurt like hell, but the thought of you running back to your old partner still played on all of their minds. He wanted to cry, he wanted to find you and beg you to never leave them, they’d be nothing without you.
There’s a knock on the door and he finds you on the other side, waiting for permission to come in. You never waited for permission, it makes him frown, maybe they were too harsh on you today. He could see you shuffling your weight, insecurity screaming through your eyes, you feared his rejection more than his anger.
He notices the first aid kit in your hand, you must’ve heard him. He doesn’t let the fluttering in his chest reach his face as he sits on the bench, waiting for you to come to him.
His gaze is expectant, daring you to cross the threshold and face him, you were no coward, you didn’t fear them the way others did, why were you behaving so meekly now? You force yourself to move and sit beside him, setting the kit down and pushing your hair back behind your ears. He doesn’t move his gaze away from you, even with the sweat and hair hanging in front of his face.
You carefully take a his hand into yours, sucking air between your teeth at how injured it was.
“I’m sorry you hurt yourself because of me,” you say, eyes on his bloodied knuckle as you press the ointment against the open wounds. “Are you sure you want me to stay, I keep hurting you...”
You try to sound like you’re joking, that you’re okay and the hurt isn’t weighing you down with your doubts. He frowns, they really did take it too far. He sets down the cotton wool from your grasp, taking both of hands into his before kissing each finger delicately without letting you look away.
“You’re perfect little love,” Jungkook says, reassuring you with no question in his voice. “We’re the ones who don’t deserve you, we’re mean and cruel but we’re never letting you go.”
You remember how loving they were before that night, maybe while they accepted the truth at face value they could never really forgive you in their hearts. Maybe that’s why they were being like this, they didn’t love you the same way anymore.
“Do you love me?” You had to know, the doubt was eating you alive.
He looks at you as if you’re insane, maybe you are, you don’t know anymore.
“Little love, don’t you see how much we love you?” He asks sincerely. “We would do anything for that love even if it made you hate us, you belong with us, and no one is going to take you away.”
You could see the crazed look in his face grow as he spoke, you believed him, the honestly worn like a heart on a sleeve. But his answer bought a wave clarity to your hazed vision, you made them like this, you made them worse, you had to leave.

Night Changes: PART ONE
Jeon Jungkook has spent the last twenty years alone.  Single.  Solo.
And that’s just the way he likes it.  That is, until he meets the supposed love of his life.  Suddenly he’s falling over himself at the chance of a real relationship with someone.
The only thing getting in his way? You.
genre: fuckboy!jungkookie, college!jungkookie, romcom, e2l (kinda)
A/N: my attempt at a college kookie story? enjooooy
Tumblr media
--
Perhaps it is the universe telling him to stop drinking.
Jeon Jungkook really needs to start listening to the universe, and stop listening to - well to put it bluntly - his penis.
When he wakes up in another stranger’s bed, with a splitting headache, and lipstick marks scattered across his chest, he reckons he should start making better life choices.
The young woman sharing his bed - a girl from the party last night, with legs that go on for miles - rolls over and blinks her eyes open sleepily.  She smiles at him.
“Hi Jungkook.”
He racks his brain for her name.  Jisoo… Jennie… Lisa… Rose?
He feels bad - he really really does - but what can he do?  He was seven tequilas in, when Taehyung convinced him that taking her home would be a good idea.
“Hi…. You.”  He finishes lamely, smiling sheepishly.
She blinks again, this time a little more furious.  Her eyes narrow after a moment.
“You don’t remember my name, do you?”  She purses her stained lips, and Jungkook really does feel awful.
Or maybe that’s just the hangover.
“I uh - maybe.  It’s.. Last night’s a little bit grainy for me, to be honest.”
She seems unimpressed, arching a well-groomed brow, “You’re in most of my classes at college, Jeon Jungkook.”
And really that’s when he feels like a complete asshole.
“Shit.  I’m sorry,” He tries to place her - he tries so fucking hard - but he knows he doesn’t recognise her, and a worm of guilt starts niggling in the pit of his stomach.
She rolls her eyes and sits up, pressing a hand against her forehead and clicking her tongue, “Whatever.  Just get out.  Jerk.”
Jungkook feels bad.  Seriously, he does.
But he can’t help but share her sentiment.
He scrambles out of bed, fishing around her bedroom floor for the jeans he so carelessly threw off, and the white shirt he’s sure is stained with something he’ll never be able to get rid of.  He stumbles into the clothing and turns back towards the nameless woman glaring at him from underneath the covers.
“Do you hate me?”
She rolls her eyes, “Get out of my house, asshole.” He winces.  He knows he deserves that.
“See you soon?” She shakes her head, and tugs a hand through her unruly hair, “Hopefully not.” Jungkook bolts out of there like his life depends on it but just as he pulls the front door open, somebody else blocks his way.  And suddenly everything in the world shifts, and he feels as though his heart has just split open right down the middle.
Because standing in front of him, holding two bags of groceries, is an absolute angel.
Jungkook thinks - no he’s certain - she’s the most beautiful woman he’s seen in his entire life, and now he understands the songs, and the sonnets and the plays.  This is what love at first sight is.
It has to be.
“Oh.”  She laughs a little, “Hi.”
Jungkook’s eyes widen, “Hi.”
“You must be Y/N’s guest.”
Y/N.  So that’s her name.
“Uh… Yeah.”
Her cheeks flush brightly, “I’m Soomi, Y/N’s roommate.”
“Nice to meet you Y/N’s roommate.  I’m Jungkook.”
When she giggles, Jungkook feels like he’s ascended into another plane of existence.
“Well it’s nice to meet you too.”  Her eyes lower to his haphazardly buttoned shirt, “Under the circumstances.” Jungkook feels stupid and wonderful all at the same time, and just as he’s about to do something crazy - like ask for her number, or ask her to marry him, even - somebody clears their throat from behind him.
In a moment, Jungkook remembers exactly where he is.  His heart drops.
Shit.
Y/N.
“I see you’ve met the asshole I slept with last night,” Y/N raises a brow and clicks her tongue, “You were just on your way out, Jungkook, weren’t you?”
“I… Uh…  Yeah.  On my way out.” Jungkook knows he has no right to feel dejected - after all he was the one who couldn’t remember Y/N’s name in the first place.  But he’s sure Soomi might very well be the love of his life, and he can’t possibly just walk out like this, can he? But when he turns to face Soomi he notices she’s already stepped out of the way for him… And there’s really nothing more he can do.
“Well uh… It was nice to meet you Soomi,” He moves into the hallway and turns to give Y/N a half smile, “See you in class.”
“Like I said.”  Y/N pulls a face, “Hopefully not.”
Soomi giggles again and he feels like he’s been shot straight through the heart, “Bye Jungkook!”
The door slams shut in his face, and the moment Jungkook is alone he notices how quickly his heart is racing.  Oh god.
He’s in love.
He has to be.
//
“Jungkook.  You’re being ridiculous.”  Jungkook’s roommate Namjoon rolls his dark eyes, “She is not the “love of your life.”  Stop being so dramatic, you sound like Jin.” Jungkook feels like his heart is about to burst.  It’s been less than three hours since he met Soomi and all he can think about is the curve of her smile.
“No.  I’m serious, Namjoon.  C’mon, when have you ever known me to feel this way about a girl?”
Namjoon sets his mug of coffee to one side and clicks his tongue, “Never.  I’ve never known you to feel this way about a girl.  Which only further proves my point - you’re being ridiculous.”
“You’re just made of ice,” He comments bitterly, “I’m serious Namjoon.  I’m in love.”
“Listen Jungkook you know I usually love to disagree with Namjoon,” This comes from Jungkook’s other roommate Taehyung who is slung across the couch lazily, “But I’ve got to say… This time he’s got a point.  You sound like a crazy person.”
“If you saw her you’d know exactly what I mean.”
Namjoon rolls his eyes so hard Jungkook is surprised he doesn’t lose one to the back of his skull.
“It’s a girl Jungkook.  A girl you met for all of twenty seconds.” “She was an angel.”
Taehyung giggles, “You’ve really got it bad huh?” “My heart hasn’t stopped pounding since I left her.”  Jungkook feels himself deflate slightly, “I need to see her again.” “And how are you going to do that?”  Taehyung raises a dark brow, “Surely you don’t have any classes with her, or you would’ve seen her by now.”
“No but… I have classes with Y/N.”  Jungkook knows it’s a dumb suggestion.
But he can’t help it.  He needs to see Soomi again.
“Y/N as in the girl who you slept with and who’s name you couldn’t remember?”  Namjoon scoffs, “Even you can’t be dumb enough to think she’d help you out of the goodness of her heart.”
“No… Maybe not out of the goodness of her heart.”  Jungkook agrees, carding a hand through his cherry red locks, “But I can figure out something she wants.  Y’know… Mutually beneficial.”
“I hope you’re not talking about your penis,” Taehyung pulls a face.
“Have you not been listening for the past hour Taehyung?  I am in love with Soomi - I’m not about to sleep with her roommate...Again.  I’m a one woman man.”
Namjoon pushes himself to his feet, “Your only hope is that she’s in love with somebody else.  Somebody you could potentially help her seduce.”
Jungkook stands too, “That’s brilliant.” “What about Hoseok?” Taehyung cocks his head to the side, “Everybody’s in love with Hoseok.”
“Do not drag Hoseok into this Jungkook.”  Namjoon gives his friend a pointed look, “I’m serious.  He’s still heartbroken over Alexa.”
“Alexis,” Taehyung corrects, “Why can’t you ever bother to get the names of our girlfriends right?”
As Namjoon and Taehyung argue over Namjoon’s inability to remember names correctly, Jungkook starts thinking of all the ways he can convince Y/N to help him with Soomi.
It’ll be a piece of cake.
Or so he hopes.
//
Monday morning rolls around and Jungkook spends practically every minute from the moment he leaves his dorm scouring the campus for Y/N.  She isn’t in his first class of the day - or even the second.  By his third class of the day he starts to wonder if maybe she’d confused him with someone else.
Maybe there’s another Jeon Jungkook on campus who sleeps with attractive women and forgets their name in the morning.  Somebody else is stealing his game.
But then - like a vision from heaven - she walks into his political science class as if she isn’t the key to all his happiness. Her eyes flit across the lecture room and when they land on Jungkook she glares.  He wants to sink back against himself but he refuses - instead he smiles widely and gestures for her to sit in the empty seat beside him.
She shakes her head as if he’s crazy (and to be honest, he might be) and instead moves towards the very back, sliding into a seat all on her own.
Jungkook grunts.  He can’t really blame her.
Still.  Does she really have to make things so difficult?
He grabs his books and shuffles over to where Y/N is sat, engrossed by something on her phone.  When he looks closer he realises it's one of those pimple popping compilations on Youtube.
Gross.
Jungkook clears his throat and when she looks up her expression morphs from surprise into annoyance.
“What are you doing?”
“Sitting beside my new friend,” He grins wider, “Y/N.”
Her eyes narrow into slits, “What do you want?”
“To make amends,” Jungkook answers immediately, “I kind of feel like an asshole.” “You should.”  She gives him another look of annoyance, “But I’m also not stupid.  You’ve got the hots for Soomi, haven’t you?”
Jungkook feels his stomach drop.  Is he that obvious?
“Everyone has the hots for Soomi,” Y/N waves her hand noncommittally and gives him a once over, “Though not everyone has slept with her roommate.”
Jungkook winces.  It’s clear Y/N despises him.
“Would it help if I said I was sorry?”
“For forgetting my name or for giving me the worst head of my life?” The insult sears him.  Jungkook may be a little bit of a lady’s man but he’s always been determined to please his lovers.  He wishes he could remember any part of their tryst (to prove her wrong, more than anything) but once again he draws a blank.
“I can make it up to you.” She raises a brow, “I highly doubt that.”
Jungkook opens his mouth to argue with her - before Y/N’s attention is stolen by the figure that has just walked through the double doors of their lecture room.  Jungkook follows her gaze and smirks when he realises who she’s staring at.
“So you have the hots for Park Jimin then?”
Y/N’s eyes snap up to meet his and she seems flustered, “What?”
“You just looked at him like he rearranged the stars to spell your name,” Jungkook’s smirk widens, “You like him.”
Y/N looks ready to smack him across the face.
“Shut up.”
“I’m not wrong though, am I?” When her eyebrows dip into a scowl, Jungkook knows he’s won this battle.  He leans towards her, conspiratorially.
“I know Jimin well.”
That’s kind of a bold statement (and kind of a lie.)  Jungkook knows of Jimin.  He’s on the same dance team as Taehyung and Hoseok - two of Jungkook’s closest friends.  That’s enough of an in, isn’t it?
“No you don’t.”  She mutters with a roll of her eyes, “I can see where you’re going with this.”
“No seriously.  He’s best friends with Kim Taehyung,” Again a slight overstatement, but Jungkook doesn’t correct himself, “And Taehyung is like my brother.  We grew up together.”
“So what?  You help me out with Jimin and I have to do the same for Soomi?”  She scoffs, “Soomi and I are best friends.  I don’t want to lie to her.” “It wouldn’t be lying.”  Jungkook’s voice pinches a little, “It’s just helping fate along.” “Fate?”  Y/N’s expression morphs into one of disbelief, “Oh my god.  You really do have the hots for her.” “If cupid himself descended to earth and shot me in the ass with an arrow, I’d feel exactly the same for her.  Seriously.”
Y/N seems to contemplate the suggestion.  Her eyes move to meet the back of Jimin’s head - where he’s sat in the front row - and she sighs heavily.  Jungkook tries to read her face.
Is she softening up to the idea?
“Let’s say I agreed to help you.”  Her voice is flat, “How can I be sure Soomi won’t just be another notch on your bedpost?”
Jungkook feels his chest constrict, “I resent that.  Just because I have more experience than others doesn’t mean I’m an asshole.  I don’t pursue women with the intentions of fucking them over.”
He won’t admit it but that assumption kind of pisses him off.
When Y/N is quiet a moment longer, Jungkook sighs and tugs a hand through his hair.
“If I do fuck her over…. Which I won’t.  I give you full permission to start a rumour that my penis is the size of a cocktail sausage.  I won’t even deny it.”
Y/N’s eyes widen and Jungkook notices (but doesn’t comment on) a red flush to her neck.
“Alright.  Fine.  I’ll help you out with Soomi, if you help me out with Jimin.”
Jungkook has to force himself not to punch the air in triumph.  Instead he grins - nice and wide - and nudges Y/N playfully, “I think this is the start of a very beautiful friendship.”
She groans.
“I’m already regretting this.”
//
Jungkook sends Y/N a text message the next morning, bright and early.  He doesn’t expect a response from her - he assumes she’s more of a night owl than an early bird - but then his phone pings in response and he has to say he’s a little surprised.
Jungkook: good mornin’ y/n… this is cupid calling
Y/N: y’know..  I knew giving you my number was a bad idea
Jungkook: oh c’mon don’t be like that, now that we’re friends you should definitely start warming up to me
Her reply takes a little longer but Jungkook isn’t worried.  Despite what she feels towards him, Y/N thinks her only way to Jimin’s heart is through Jungkook.  So she’ll just have to put up with it.
Y/N: I just puked in my mouth at the thought of warming up anywhere close to you.  Gross
Jungkook smiles at her response.
Jungkook: I think you like me more than you're willing to admit.  Anyway we need to get on with our…. Agreement.  Want to come round this evening to discuss arrangements?  I’ll even throw in some pizza and beer.
Y/N: I only like hawaiian.
Jungkook: Disgusting.  You and Namjoon will get on fantastically then.  Alright hawaiian it is.
He sends her his address and when she replies with the puking emoji he laughs despite himself.
Maybe she’s not all that bad.
//
“Pineapple on pizza is a cardinal sin.” Y/N glares at Jungkook as she tucks into her third slice, “Why are you hating?”
“I just - I don’t get it.”
Y/N had arrived at his apartment earlier that evening with a six pack of beer in what Jungkook had assumed was a begrudging olive branch.  The two of them had spent the last hour discussing the delicate intricacies of mario kart, and Jungkook had found himself enjoying her company more and more.
He hated to admit it but she was kind of cool.
Only kind of, though.
“You don’t get it because your taste buds are subpar,” She moves her mouth into a small smile and Jungkook almost gasps at the gesture, “Hawaiian is the only acceptable way to eat pizza.  Period.”
“Y’know you look much cuter when you smile,” He quips, watching as she chokes on the last piece of crust, “You should do it more often.” Her eyes narrow into a glare, “I smile at people who bother to remember my name.”
“I thought you’d forgiven me for that.  I’m helping you out with Jimin aren’t I?”
Y/N laughs - and Jungkook is surprised at the warmth in her tone, “At a price.  Or are you forgetting I’m setting you up with Soomi?”
“Which reminds me,” He scoots closer towards her, pushing the pizza box out of the way, “What’s our plan of action?” Y/N seems to pause for a moment, her eyes flicking nervously across his face as she tucks some of her hair behind her ear.  Jungkook doesn’t comment on her sudden shift in behaviour, but he notices it.
Man.  Girls are weird.
“I thought maybe… You could come over one night, to watch a movie or whatever.  And you could ask Taehyung and Jimin to join, too.”
Jungkook nods emphatically, “That’s a good plan.  Something intimate to really plant those seeds of love.”
Y/N laughs again and he notices the crinkles at the sides of her eyes when she does so.  Weird.  Why hasn’t he seen those before?  Admittedly… It’s kind of adorable.
“Plant those seeds of love,” She pulls a face, “You really are a wordsmith, Jeon Jungkook.”
“Is it any wonder when my major is English lit?”
“Me too,” She cocks her head to one side, hair falling out from behind her ears, “Makes sense why you’re in most of my classes.”
Jungkook feels kind of (very) guilty as memories of their morning together are brought back.
“I really do feel like shit for not remembering you.”  He rubs the back of his neck in that universal boy sign for awkwardness, and clicks his tongue, “I wish I had.”
She shrugs, her eyes darkening a moment as she looks away, “It’s alright.  I’m kind of used to it to be honest.  Always been more of a... Background kind of person.”
Jungkook clucks, like a mother hen disappointed at her chicks, “Hey don’t say that about yourself.”
When Y/N moves her eyes to meet with his own again, Jungkook notices she doesn’t seem angry or bitter.   Just resigned.
“But it’s true,” She licks her bottom lip and smiles almost sadly, “Soomi’s always been the centre of attention everywhere we go.  And I’ve known her… Forever, really.  So it makes sense.  Someone always has to take the back seat.  I don’t mind it.  Suits me just fine.”
Now Jungkook really feels like an asshole.  When she was prickly, it was easy to shove everything under the carpet, and pretend that not knowing her name wasn’t sort of horrible.
But now she was being nice, it made everything a hundred times worse.
“I’m sorry Y/N.  Really.”
She meets his gaze again and smiles - this time a little lighter, “Don’t worry about it.  Now you know who I am… And you’ll never forget it.  Not least because I’m the love of your life’s best friend.”
Jungkook feels kind of awful right now, but he knows that apologising again will probably only annoy her.  He tucks his guilt somewhere into the back of his mind and smiles widely, trying to ease the mood.
“Right.  And I’m the person who is going to help you snag the man of your dreams!”
She laughs at that, taking a final chug of her beer before setting the empty bottle to one side.
“Park Jimin here I come!”
“You’ve got a one way ticket to Bonetown and Jimin is flying first class!”
She laughs louder, this time snorting, “That makes no sense, but I’ll take it.”
They spend the rest of the evening hanging out in a way that feels strangely familiar, and it’s only when Y/N’s head begins to lull to one side that Jungkook realises it’s past three am.  And as he orders her an uber home, and insists she takes the final slice of pizza for the journey home, Jungkook realises that Y/N is more than just kind of cute.
She’s kind of great.
//
Later on that week, as Jungkook fills Namjoon and Taehyung in on his progress with Y/N, the former seems less than impressed.
“This is only going to end badly.”  Namjoon shakes his head, “Haven’t you ever seen a romantic comedy?  Shit like this only ends in tears.”
Jungkook takes a swig from his beer and rolls his eyes, “Have you ever tried to be positive a single day in your life Namjoon?  Y/N agreed to help me.  It’s progress.”
“But you dragged me into it,” Taehyung seems unimpressed, “And I told you me and Jimin aren’t even that close.”
“Okay so I might have embellished slightly….”
“Slightly?  You called us the best of friends,” Taehyung groans at his friend’s stupidity, “I’m not sure Jimin even knows what major I’m taking.”
“This is the most Jungkook problem of all time,” Namjoon guffaws at the situation, “How the hell are you going to sort this out.” “Tae - I just need you to convince Jimin to come on one date.”
Taehyung rolls his eyes, “I don’t know him that well, Kook.  What exactly am I supposed to say?”
“I don’t know but you once convinced your mom those nudes of you that got leaked senior year of high school were actually for an art project,” Jungkook pleads with his friend, “I know  you can do this.” Taehyung laughs at the memory and pulls a face, “If he says no though, there’s not much else I can do.” “Fine.  But at least try.”
Jungkook knows that the universe is working in his favour.  It has to be.  The moment he laid eyes on Soomi he knew he’d never be happy again without her.
“Alright Kook I’ll try.  But I’m not making any promises.” Jungkook grins, “You’re the best.”
“I know I am,” He leans further back into the couch and grabs a slice of the pizza Namjoon ordered, surreptitiously picking off the pineapple, “Now what are you going to do about Y/N?” Jungkook raises a brow, “What do you mean?” “Well you described her as a she-demon,” Namjoon snorts, choking on some of his beer, “How exactly is that going to seduce Jimin?” “Remember everyone loves him,” Taehyung tacks on - less than helpfully - his smirk growing, “She’s going to have to get in line.” “Everyone does not love Jimin.”
Taehyung scoffs, “You’re kidding right?  I once watched him turn down three girls in one night.”
“Yeah.  This girl from my psych class says he’s still heart broken from his ex,” Namjoon seems to be enjoying Jungkook’s predicament a little too much, “Says he won’t even give anyone a chance.”
Jungkook refuses to let his friends’ pessimism get in the way of his elation.  He’s one step closer to Soomi, and if Jimin thinks he can be the one to stand in his way he’s got another thing coming.
“I’ll make it work.”  He answers with more confidence than he necessarily feels, “Besides, Y/N’s not that bad.  In certain lights she might even be considered kind of… Cute.  She’s just a little...brash.”
“Could her brashness towards you be due to the fact you forgot her name after an evening of vigorous love making?”  Taehyung gives his friend a knowing look, “I mean that would probably even hurt you Jungkook.  And you’re the master of not giving a fuck.”
“I apologised.”  He says it like that should fix everything, but in the depths of his heart Jungkook knows forgetting her name was kind of (really) shitty, “Besides.  If I really do set her up with Jimin and this all works out perfectly she’ll have a lot to thank me for.  Might even forgive me.”
Taehyung laughs and Namjoon pulls a face.
“We live in hope.” “That we do Joon.” Jungkook grins, “That we do.”

“Oh, lighten up Jeon,” Yoongi rolls his eyes, “You look like someone told you that your cat died.”
“The only kitty he wants won’t give him the time of day,” Mina grins, earning herself a glare from Jungkook.
“More like I can't get her time of day because her stupid best friend has a stick up her ass,” Jungkook mutters.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this,” Mei observes, “Our baby tattoo artist pining over a girl…”
“If looks could kill, you’d be dead by now, Mei,” Yoongi says pointedly, “Now stop wasting time meddling in Jungkook’s love life, Jin will have all of our heads-”
“Love life? I don’t have a love life,” Jungkook protests, eyes adorably round.
“And that’s why you’re so broody today, honey,” Mina teases, “More so than usual at least.”
“I am not broody,” Jungkook grumbles, turning his back on his laughing coworkers and friends. He can’t help but smile at their teasing.
“Oh, lighten up, Kookie,” Mei says lightly, clapping his shoulder, “If it makes you feel any better, that girl couldn’t stop staring at you at Hobi’s birthday. And she definitely wants a piece of this.”
Jungkook ignores the raucous laughter of his friends (which only increases when Jin comes out from the backroom to add on to his suffering) and the reddening of his cheeks as he gets ready for his full day of tattoo consultations and appointments.
Tumblr media
Jungkook’s day ends about an hour earlier than he had anticipated- his last client for the day had to reschedule due to a last minute conflict. That’s fine by him. It gives him time to stop by the bookstore a few blocks away from the tattoo parlor before it closes.
Jungkook tries his best to read at least one new book a month. He’s known the older shop owner, Jia and her young son, Jae-sung, for years now, as he had basically grown up with Jia from childhood.
He loves the quiet of the store and the immediate scent of vanilla and cedar that surrounds him as soon as he walks in. The bookstore itself has a vintage sort of feel, with dimmed lights, old shelves of mahogany and candles placed throughout the store.
Jungkook always brings croissants from the bakery nearby for Jia and little Jae-sung. Usually when he comes by, the bookstore is empty (or close to it).
Jae-sung screeches when he sees Jungkook walk in the door and immediately runs up to him, hugging his legs. Jungkook crouches, ruffling his hair fondly and Jae-sung is nearly bouncing off of the heels of his feet.
“Mommy say she have new book for you, Kookie!” Jae-sung beams, eyeing the box of croissants in Jungkook’s free hand.
“Does she?” Jungkook muses, “Your mommy always knows what kind of books I like.”
“Me too! Me too!”
“Hey, Jungkook,” Jia’s voice filters through the store as she approaches, “It’s been a while.”
“It took me a while to finish the last book. But so worth it,” He says apologetically, “I also brought croissants. Enjoy.”
“You spoil us,” Jia rolls her eyes, “The new arrivals are in the back, third aisle from the left. You know the drill.”
Jia has known Jungkook since he was a baby in diapers- she’s been his aunt’s close friend for years and years now. Jungkook likes to joke that he likes Jia more than his own aunt, and Jia always reprimands him (without really meaning it).
He thought the bookstore was empty, save for Jia and Jae-sung. But he’s clearly mistaken, when he sees a figure in an olive green sweater and black jeans perusing through the new arrivals with their bottom lip tucked between their teeth in concentration.
He recognizes them immediately and when the person raises their head in curiosity, he sees your wide eyes and a shy smile starting to pull across your lips.
You’re here, in his favorite bookstore where he feels like he’s at home. If he was looking for a sign, then this was it.
“Hi,” You say softly, waving your fingers at him, “So you like reading, huh?”
You visibly cringe and Jungkook chuckles. Your cheeks feel warm when you take him in, swirls and dots of his tattoos peeking out of his black leather jacket and beckoning you closer to him. The three hoops in his left ear glint with the light and the dangling earring on his right ear dangles with the movement of his head. His hair is tied back into a ponytail, accentuating the curve of his jaw and his soft dimples.
Your breath is stolen away when you meet his eyes, deep brown and murky, popping against the peach eyeshadow on his eyelids.
You nearly swoon on the spot before you get your bearings. Maybe he’d catch you if your knees buckled, you think dryly. How embarrassing.
“I try reading something new once a month,” Jungkook replies, pulling you out of your reverie, “And I just like the bookstore in general. Sometimes I like to just come here and hang out with Jia and Jae-sung.”
“Oh! Jia makes my favorite lavender chamomile tea. There’s nothing like it,” You say a little dreamily, “Jae-sung is a cutie. That boy can just look at you and you’d be putty in his hands. Kinda like you.”
The last bit slips out of your mouth without you meaning for it to.
“Kinda like me, huh,” Jungkook smirks, eyes glittering, “It would be fun to see if you’d be putty in my hands, wouldn’t it?”
“The world may never know,” You mumble sheepishly and avoid his eyes again, “What kind of book are you looking for?”
“The one you’re holding, baby,” Jungkook murmurs, looking past your shoulder for another copy of the same book.
“Are you looking for this book just because I’m reading it or because you’ve been genuinely eyeing it?” You ask boldly, a hint of a smile playing on your lips.
“Oh, you’re funny,” Jungkook snorts, walking past you to grab the book off of the shelf.
“So I’ve been told,” Your eyes flash, “We should do a boozy book club.”
“Is it a book club if it’s just the two of us?”
“It can be whatever we want it to be,” You shrug, “Besides, don’t you wanna hang out with me?” You tilt your head and Jungkook’s resolve weakens. His heart does something funny- is this how it’s supposed to be?
“Of course I wanna hang out with you, baby,” Jungkook murmurs smoothly, “C’mon, let’s go have some of Jia’s tea. And a croissant too, if Jae hasn’t eaten them already.”
Tumblr media
Jungkook glares at Jia the entire time that she’s making tea for both of you. He knows her sly, curious eyes and was unable to keep the surprise off of her face when you had both walked down the stairs together.
She even had the audacity to wink at him. He hopes that the family groupchat doesn’t start blowing up when Jia inevitably informs his aunt and mother about this new development.
“Kookie,” Jae-sung whispers (loudly) when you step away to use the bathroom, “Is dat your girlfriend?”
“What?” Jungkook hisses, “Who told you that?”
“My mommy say I ask you! I not know!”
“No, Jae, that’s not my girlfriend,” Jungkook mumbles, shooting Jia another death glare. She only smiles smugly at him from her spot behind the counter.
Jia leaves him alone for the most part when you return and take your seat next to him. He can still feel her eyes on you both as she washes teacups, watching like a hawk.
“These croissants are so good,” You nearly moan, “Where’d you get them?”
“There’s a bakery near the tattoo parlor,” Jungkook says, “You should come by sometime.”
“The bakery or the parlor?”
“Both?”
“I’ve only been there a few times,” You muse, “I hear you’re the best tattoo artist there. From the mouth of Hobi and Jin themselves.”
“Don’t let Mina and Mei hear you say that,” Jungkook says weakly, rubbing the back of his neck. His cheeks are a little pink and you resist chuckling to yourself.
“I’ve always wanted to get a second piercing,” You trail off, “But never really committed to it.”
“What would you want to get? We do piercings, too,” Jungkook says.
“Cartilage? Industrial? I don’t know,” You shrug, sipping your tea.
“Mina usually has a good eye for that,” Jungkook admits, “Now you have more of a reason to stop by.”
“Oh, I already had a reason to stop by the parlor,” You say brazenly with a sweet smile.
“Is that so?” Jungkook says, quirking an eyebrow at you.
You hum and continue to sip your tea, wondering if he can somehow hear the loud rattling of your eager heart in your ribcage.
Tumblr media
Conversation with him comes so easily and you don’t know when the last time you had spent this long with him was. Something always seems to interrupt you both when you eventually do find yourselves alone with each other during outings with friends. But this time, it’s just you and him tucked away in this bookstore.
The sun has long gone down and Jia was about to close the bookstore for the day. In fact, the only reason she kept it open for this long was because of you both. You apologize profusely with worried eyes when you realize the time and see Jae-sung fast asleep in his mother’s arms.
She waves you off, giving Jungkook a lingering look that you don’t understand.
“I’ll be back soon,” You promise Jia in a soft voice, so as to not wake Jae-sung, “Be well, Jia.”
She bids you both goodnight, and unbeknownst to you, she shoots Jungkook a simple text. It states: “keep her close, i like her”.
Jungkook ignores it in favor of focusing on you.
Tumblr media
“How you getting home, baby?” Jungkook asks as you both walk up the block shoulder to shoulder.
“Hmm… I’m supposed to meet Sora for dinner but she said she’s stuck at work,” You murmur, wrapping your arms around yourself as you scroll on your phone, “But I was just on social media and it looks like she’s getting drinks with her other friends…”
You look at him with a frown tugging at your lips and your eyes wide. “Maybe it was a last minute thing,” You mumble to yourself.
“Or maybe she lied to you,” Jungkook says sharply. You only look at him in silence for a few moments with furrowed brows.
“Maybe there was a reason,” You shrug, “Why would she lie about that?”
Because she’s Sora, and she just would. But Jungkook stays silent. You don’t need to hear about how he dislikes your best friend, at least not yet. Not when you’re not ready to hear it.
“Forget about her,” Jungkook says easily, “Lemme take you home, baby.”
Tumblr media
“I’m not riding that metal death contraption,” You say flatly, “You just got it! Like two weeks ago! You don’t even have an extra helmet, and forget a helmet, I need elbow pads and knee pads-”
“Will you relax,” Jungkook says, putting your books in the small basket he built into the front of the motorcycle.
“No, I will not relax, Jeon Jungkook!” You nearly screech, “This is so dangerous, we could both fall in the road and then what? Become roadkill for the next soccer mom van to run us both over? Death by soccer mom, what a way to go-”
“Are you done?” Jungkook says dryly.
“No, actually, I’m not done-”
“You trust me, baby?” Jungkook asks, hand on your shoulder. You can’t even properly appreciate the warmth of his large hand over your jacket.
“Of course I trust you, I don’t trust that,” You point at the motorcycle accusingly and Jungkook rolls his eyes. You can already feel your resolve weakening. He wordlessly places his own helmet over your own head and you glare at him, about to start your tirade again.
“You take mine,” Jungkook murmurs, “And hold on to me.”
“You can’t just give me your helmet, what if you fall? Or worse, get pulled over?”
“Or worse, get pulled over, are you joking-”
“Jungkook! Be serious!”
“I am being serious! You said you only live ten minutes from here, just relax. I won’t let anything happen to either of us,” Jungkook says, tongue poking the inside of his cheek.
“If anything happens, it’s your head on a platter and I’m bringing it to the tattoo parlor.”
“How can you do that if we both die?”
“Shut the fuck up,” You say, but a laugh escapes your lips. Jungkook sits on his bike and looks at you expectantly.
“C’mon, baby,” Jungkook coaxes you and you awkwardly sit behind him, making sure that your legs don’t touch his and your arms are safely away from him.
“If you sit like that, you’ll definitely fall off,” Jungkook snorts, “Wrap your arms around me.”
You hesitate, afraid of touching him like this for whatever reason. He unnerves you and you feel completely exposed like this. You’ve never really been this close to anyone, at least anyone who made you feel the way Jungkook makes you feel.
Biting the bullet, you tensely wrap your arms around his narrow waist loosely. “Good girl,” Jungkook murmurs, “Tighter, baby. I don’t bite, unless you want me to.”
Your stomach flips at his words, subconsciously wrapping your arms around his narrow waist even more tightly. Your fingers graze the hard press of his tummy over his jacket and you almost moan at how warm and strong he feels. He smells nice, like Sunday morning laundry.
“Ugh, you’re annoying-” And then you shriek as he pulls away from the road and shoots off into the night with you plastered against his backside.
Tumblr media
“See that wasn’t so bad, was it?” Jungkook says, taking the helmet off of you. He’s met with a glare but you sigh in defeat.
“No, I guess it wasn’t. But I never want you driving this hunk of death without a helmet for yourself,” You say, poking his chest.
“You should be nicer to her,” Jungkook says, taking your finger in his large hand.
“You’re right, it’s you that I should be mean to,” You roll your eyes. You wonder if Jungkook could feel your heart slamming in your chest (in fear, adrenaline and excitement) as you hung tight to him. You had refused to look up, pressing your face into his back and squeezing your eyes shut the entire way. Jungkook had only chuckled.
The heat in your eyes melts away quickly once Jungkook helps you off of the motorcycle. “Thanks for taking me home, Jungkook,” You murmur, “I’m glad I ran into you at the bookstore.”
“Any time, baby,” Jungkook says. A strand of dark hair falls from his ponytail and into his face. You reach your fingers up to thread through his hair before pushing it back behind his ear for him.
“Get home safe,” You say, with stars in your eyes, “Can I hug you?” When he nods, and before you can change your mind or convince yourself out of it, you wrap your arms around him. And before he can properly return it, you dash into your apartment building while calling out “text me when you get home!”
Hours later, when he’s in the comfort of his home, he decides that he likes the way your spicy vanilla scented perfume clings to his leather jacket.

Tumblr media
summary: there were rules that had to be followed: no one could know about you two, there was no ‘getting to know each other,’ and there was absolutely no emotional attachment allowed. if this could be done, there should be no complications. but somehow, the rules always get bended.
pairing: reader x fuckboy!kth
genre: college au | fluff, angst, smut
words: 2301
chapter warnings: cussing, mature language, very slight angst, some hints of jealousy, alcohol consumption
notes: pls remember that this is set a few months after you and tae have been going at it, so it will seem like things are happening a bit fast. i’m not trying to prolong this series. also most importantly, i tend to usually write shorter chapters > shorter, but more chapters published. enjoy!

Jungkook decided he was going to see if he could jump over your couch and land perfectly in a seated position.
"Wait, wait, wait. Absolute silence everybody." He says as he's stretched over, trying to estimate the timing and height of his jump. He had always been super athletic and competitive since you two were small, so there was really no changing his mind on this. He always had to prove something, even if that meant creating his own competition of jumping over the couch.
"It's just me and you." You watched him from the kitchen, making sure the pizza in the oven was baking properly.
"I have an audience, okay? Don't be rude, Y/N." He says as he points over to the fake audience clapping and laughing during a 'Friends' episode.
"Whatever, as long as you don't go breaking my shit, Jeon Jungkook." He was 22, but his mentality was 8. That was for damn sure.
"Siiiiiiilence." He says at a whisper, his eyes shut as he puts a finger to his mouth. He lets out a huff and a puff before he gets the courage to throw himself over the couch and land a perfect landing. "And once again, he sticks the landing!" He stands up with his hands up in the air.
"You're annoying." You laughed, getting paper plates ready for the pizza that was about to be done because you were in no mood to do any dishes tonight.
"Thank you! I'll be here again tomorrow, same time." He calls out to his fake audience.
"No the hell you're not."
"Ouch, nevermind. Someone apparently doesn't want me here." You laugh at how dramatic he is. At this point, you just let him be because that was something you always loved about your bestfriend. He embraced the kid in him and always brought good times. You had similarities, but you also had some major differences. You liked being in your comfort zone & you were labeled the innocent nerd amongst your friends. You just like to consider yourself simple, though. A 'take it day by day' kind of person. Kookie was fun, adventurous and childish at times. He was also shy, but loud at the same time? An introverted extrovert, you could say.
But you loved each other nonetheless, that's why you've clicked so well since you were young. You taught each other things & grew together.
"Here, fool." You placed the pizza in front of him with the paper plates.
"Set it up, I'll grab us the drinks. You want anything in particular?"
"That bottle of Stella Rosa, please." JK knew you loved that Stella Rosa, so he happily grabs the bottle and two wine glasses. He plops back next to you on the couch, pouring your glasses and grabbing a heaping serving of 4 slices of pizza.
You both decided you want a good laugh, so you throw on Kevin Hart's newest installment: Zero Fucks Given. It isn't long before you both are rolling on the floor, almost gasping for air at how much you're laughing at Kevin Hart's stand up. The pizza is gone, the wine is gone, and you're still feeling pretty tipsy. The whole thing sounds nice, until your head starts to wonder what Taehyung is doing and if he'll text you to come over tonight. You know he probably already has plans with another chick though, and that hits you.
Curse this fucking alcohol.
Let's get this straight - the only time you 'talk' is when he's trying to fuck.
And yes bitch, you let him do this to you. You're out that door before you can even fully slip your shoes on. Dick is just that good. It's something about Taehyung that makes you addicted. The way he gives you a stupid ass smirk when he opens his door, the way he touches your skin and gently lays his shit on you until you both become really invested in the moment. So invested that shit hits the roof. It gets messy. It gets rough. It becomes unspeakable.
You aren't friends. No one knows about you two, or that you even know the other exists. You don't know shit about each other. The only thing you know is that he's fucking other girls. He has a whole roster, you'd imagine - a starting five, at least.
He doesn't care about you, and for the most part, you don't either. At least, that's what you like to portray because it's been some months now since this whole thing started and you can't help but feel some kind of emotional tie to him. You're leaving your house between 12-2am in the morning and sleeping in his bed until 6-7am. It's a routine; a routine you've become used to. You skip out on some late night kick-its with your friends cause you anticipate a text to come through from him.
But, he doesn't care. You aren't the only female slipping into those sheets, and boy does it fucking make it hard to swallow. Reality hits hard when you think about it and you feel this huge pit in your stomach. You try to be different, you try to stand out one way or another. But it doesn't work that way. You knew what this entailed going into it, so it makes zero sense as to why you're hurting and getting jealous from time to time.
You know it still doesn't matter to him.
He's only fucking you over cause you let him. You know damn well you're not gonna change and let this go, though. You love thrill of it too much. It's the most thrill your life has had. You're not perfect and you're only human. You make mistakes, but this one definitely puts the cherry on top. Because not only do you refuse to learn, but you let it repeat itself over and over again.
"Aishhhh, my stomach hurts from laughing too much." Jungkook laid his head back and patted his belly. "But that was good though. I needed that."
"Yeah it was. Thanks for coming by to watch that with me, Kook." He tilts his head over to look at you and smiles.
"Sure thing." He checks his phone and sits up. "Yoongi is blowing up the group chat." You check your phone to see multiple unread messages from none other than Min Yoongi himself.
[yoongi] 10:37pm: aye
[yoongi] 10:45pm: all of a sudden, everyone is ghost in this group chat?! you all had a lot to say not too long ago.
[yoongi] 10:52pm: even though you guys are fake as fuck, does anyone wanna come with me to the bars tonight? meet at my place so we can head out.
You and Jungkook laughed at how butthurt Yoongi was in the groupchat. Yoongi definitely was the most serious and blunt one in your group, but he still liked to party and have a good time. It was just how he was. Hoseok was always full of energy and probably the most extroverted one out of all 4 of you. He was never shy. You and Jungkook met Yoongi and Hoseok your first year in college and became inseparable ever since. You all just click with your different attributes.
[jungkook] 10:53pm: lmaoooooooo
[yoongi] 10:53pm: fuck you dude lol
[jungkook] 10:54pm: i'll come through in a sec, i'm at y/n's right now. not sure if she's gonna come though?
[y/n] 10:55pm: i'll pass, i'm tired and wined out.
[hoseok] 10:55pm: ahahahah yoongi shut up, blowing up my phone for no reason. i'm passing on tonight too. im tired from working that overtime *cries*
[yoongi] 10:56pm: you both are boring. i'm especially offended at how i didn't get an invite to your little powwow, y/n. and now you don't wanna hang out?
[hoseok] 10:57pm: she mentioned she was going to watch kevin hart's thing yesterday and offered us to swing by if we wanted to though....... selective hearing, maybe?
[y/n] 10:58pm: ^ okayyyyy and that's on period! thank you hobi <3
[hoseok] 10:59pm: anything for the baby
[yoongi] 10:59pm: lmao you're a brat, y/n. whatever, i'm still hurt by you both! kook, hurry on over so we can drink
"Fuck I regret this, I'm gonna die." Jungkook laughed as he stood up and stretched. He quickly helped you clean up before he figured it was time to go or else Yoongi would have a fit.
"I feel like it has to do with that one girl he's been talking to on and off."
"Perhaps." Jungkook shrugged before putting on his shoes. "We shall see." he sighs before giving you a tight hug. "You sure you don't wanna come out?"
"Nope."
"You don't even have plans tonight."
"Yes I do."
"Doing what?"
"Laying in bed." Jungkook snorted as you shook your head and shrugged. What else did he think you were trying to do? He should know you by now, at the very least.
"Alright, I'm not even going to argue. I'm off."
"Be safe, have fun, text me if you both need anything, okay?" He nods as he shuts the door, leaving you to your lonesome. You swirled the teeny tiny drop of wine leftover in your glass around before picking up your phone.
No new texts. Well, let's be specific: no new texts from taehyung.
You did forget to respond to your oldest cousin though, when he was just trying to check up on you.
[seokjin] 8:35pm: pssst y/n
[seokjin] 8:35pm: psssssssssst
[seokjin] 8:35pm: oyyyyyyyyyy
He was damn near 30 years old and hated talking on the phone so much that he decides to blow up your phone this way. But, he was the cousin you loved dearly and you had a very tight, sibling-like relationship with him. He was like the older brother you've always wanted. He watched you grow, protected you, kept you safe, supported you and cheered you on - especially when your family talked so much shit about how you and him weren't gonna get anywhere with your goals. You know, the fucking stupid ol' saying of 'chasing your passion isn't going to bring you money & wealth.' Your family was all about the titles and money, but Jin was passionate about cooking and wanted to open his own cafe. You, on the other hand, wanted to pursue your art. Jin was the biggest role model for you because he was the first to defy your family's wants and wishes. He was the black sheep of the family with a huge 'I don't give a fuck' mentality and he taught you that along the way.
Don't ever be afraid to do what you're passionate about. Fuck 'em.
[y/n] 11:13pm: hi sorry, jungkook was over and we were watching kevin hart's new thing on netflix over some wine and pizza.
[seokjin] 11:15pm: that sounds fun! sorry, i just wanted to check on you but i see you're doing okay lol
[y/n] 11:16pm: i am. :) i'll hang out with you tomorrow
[seokjin] 11:16pm: how sweet, my freeloading baby cousin is coming by
[y/n] 11:17pm: hahahah shut up! although you're not wrong, i am going to steal some food. but most importantly, i do want to hang out and see my bestest oppa <3
[seokjin] 11:18pm: awww y/n, you're so full of shit <3
[seokjin] 11:18pm: go to bed
[y/n] 11:19pm: haha love you tooooo
And so, that's what you did. You got yourself all ready for bed, believing you wouldn't be leaving your house tonight. You pampered yourself, put on a face mask and got yourself all lathered up in lotion just to lay down. You're in Jungkook's shirt that he left behind (and never looked for, so technically it's yours now) when the guys had stayed the night and some Vicky Secret panties.
You're scrolling through your Instagram feed, seeing Jungkook's newly posted story with him and Yoongi already at the bars, acting a damn fool. You laughed at the video he took of Yoongi trying to dance in a tight, awkward space on the crowded dance floor even though he was never the best at dancing. It lowkey made you wish you went out with them so you wouldn't be stuck here thinking about your feelings and how lonely these hours get.
And then you see Jimin's story from an hour ago. He knew you were friends with Yoongi, and although Yoongi wasn't fond of their group too much, he was still an avid party-goer and mingled with people there. You've only spoken to Jimin once because you had to work with him in the same group on a class assignment. You tried to keep it that way though because he was Taehyung's bestfriend. They went everywhere together, did everything together. He, too, was very popular among the ladies and across campus. I guess it was just their thing.
You assume they were at a party cause Jimin quickly flashes the camera at Taehyung, who's in front of him getting a lapdance from some chick. Jimin quickly turns the camera back to his face as he's laughing uncontrollably then abruptly cuts it off.
Great.
She's forsure going home with him tonight.
You set your phone down on the night stand and put on a show on your laptop to help you fall asleep.
Just as you're about to get some shut eye, your phone vibrates. You let it slip at first because you thought it could be one of the guys playing around, but it vibrates again, signaling another text coming through. You pick up your phone just to make sure Yoongi and Jungkook aren't in any trouble and need you to bail their asses out.
[taehyung] 12:17am: hey
[taehyung] 12:20am: come over.
You scoff at how he assumes you're still up and that you'd be coming over. You hated that. He knew he just had your ass.

[ chapter 3 ||| chapter 5]
The big, black collar was strapped way too tight around the boy’s neck, as he was pulled through the huge crowd of people. He didn’t know where he was going, he was just stumbling behind his owner, who was forcefully and careless pulling him by the leash, not caring if he was chocking or running out of air.
Sometimes, when the crowd was especially tight squeezed, he felt a hand or two on his body. They were either petting his bum, or pulling his fluffy tail or squeezing his sensitive ears.
“Come on, my bunny. We don’t wanna miss the fight.” The man was tugging the leash hard, gesturing for Jungkook to go faster.
His heart was beating in his chest, though it was not the first time his owners had taken him with them to one of the ‘Zoo Meetings’ how they called it. He was not there to fight, but he was there to be shown off in front of his owner friends, while they sat right in the front row and watched the fights.
A shiver ran down his spine when he thought about the last time. The woman who had sat next to had an awful laugh, and every time she had opened her mouth, showing her way too white teeth, it would made the poor Hybrid’s ears hurt.
She had been scratching her long fake nails over his thighs all evening, pinching and squeezing it from time to time, or going way too hight with her bony hands.
“Ladies and Gentleman…” A loud voice rang through the big boxes, and Jungkook knew what was coming next: They were announcing the next fight. “Please take a seat and make yourself as comfortable as possible, for the very last fight of the eeevvveeennniinngf!”
Jungkook pressed his ears flatter onto his head, hoping to block out the loud voice that made his ears hurt, but the volume and the cheering crowd were too loud.
“In the right corner, we have a very special fight. Please cheer and clap for our black Panther!” Though the crowd cheered, Jungkook knew that their intention was not to motivate the poor Panther, it was meant to scare him even more, so he would fight with all his animal instincts. “And in the left corner we have our well known champion, the one with the lovely owners Mr. and Mrs. Chefferson…” Mrs. Chefferson, his female owner, shot up from her seat and waved wildly in all directions, enjoying all the cheer for her like she was a celebrity. Her way too short skirt and cleavage were making a terrible job to hide something. “Please cheer for our Leopard!”
The woman next to Jungkook was screaming so loud with her shrill voice, while lifting her campaigner glass in the air.
“Jin.” The bunny whispered, as he watched his older brother being shoved into the fighting ring.
The ring was a big square, maybe about 5x5 meters each side. The floor was made out of hard stone, that would make the fighting Hybrids feet sore when they would push themselves over it. It was also the reason most Hybrids die while fighting, because they fell into the hard floor and hitting her heads open. Around the floor was a big metal grid, that would protect the visitor from the Hybrids if they wanted to break free.
Jin was never the type to fight. He was an Amur Leopard Hybrid, one of the peaceful breeds. The only reason he had won so many matches was because he was pumped full of doping liquids, that would make him stronger and faster. At the Zoo Meetings, no one cared about doping or other illegal medicaments that would push a Hybrids, the visitors were here for fun and entertainment.
While the crowd was still cheering and screaming, Jin turned his head wildly into all directions, as if he was looking for something. When he looked over his shoulder, he suddenly made eye contact with the thin bunny Hybrid.
They were staring at each other eyes, before the older one nodded his head, almost unnoticed.
Jungkook knew what he was saying in his head. He had told him about his plan the previous evening, when the younger one had brought him food to his cage. Yes, Jin was caught up in a cage in the basement, and beside the fights, he was never allowed to leave it.
Jungkook gulped but nodded, too. Even though every part of his body told him to not do it. The plan wasn’t bulletproof at all, and even if he would make it out alive, they would probably catch him out in the streets.
The loud ringing of a clock ripped him out of his thoughts. The game master had declared the fight to begun, and now there was now way back, for Jungkook and for Jin.
Once a fight has started, the two Hybrids had to fight until the very end…and with very end he meant that one of them had to die. If both of them refused to fight each other, they would both be killed. There was no way out for them.
The room had fallen silence after the clock had rang, watching expectantly at the two Hybrid who were standing opposite of each other. Both were waiting for the other one to make the first move.
“Come on, you stupid tiger.” The man next to Jungkook whispered angrily. “I bet a lot of money on you.”
After another few seconds of silence passed, when with a sudden movement the Leopard shot forward, but not because he wanted to attack his opponent. Instead, he had turned around with an enormous speed and with a clinging sound he threw himself against the heavy metal grid, right were Jungkook and his owners sat.
Scream broke out among the people sitting in the front row. Woman were jumping up from their seats, throwing away their glasses, men were cursing and standing up, calling to get the security guards. In all the mess going on, Jin’s plan went exactly like he want it to go.
Mr. Chefferson, as well as the others, got scared so much that he let go of the leash which was connected with Jungkook’s neck. When Jungkook noticed the piece of leather hanging loosely by his feet, he lifted his head, looking one last time at his older brother. When their gazes met, he mouth ‘Run Jungkook’ towards the younger one, before he was sent to the ground by an electro shocking stick.
The bunny felt paralyzed. He wanted to help his brother. He wanted to rip all those people away from him, but he knew he couldn’t.
Jin risked his own life to save him. He wanted nothing more for the young boy to be free. Jungkook knew that it was selfish, but he needed to move now, or else someone would notice him being unleashed.
With tears streaming down his cheeks, he pushed himself through the crowd of people that were in great turmoil because of what was going on in the fighting ring.
Finally out of the building, he kept running and running, pushing his feet stronger into the ground. He don’t know how long or where he had been running, but he didn’t look back once.
The night air was cold against his naked upper body and face, and the hard floor was scratching up his bare feet. He passed buildings and woods, houses and fields until his lungs were burning and screaming for him to stop running.
When he looked around, he saw that he stood in the middle of a street, surrounded by many big houses and shops. He panicked. Many houses meant that there were many people that would call the police when they saw a strolling Hybrid on the street.
He needed to hide somewhere.
He pushed his feet in the ground once again, running over to a small dark passage. No one would willingly go in there, meaning that he would at least be safe for a few days. He walked further down the allay until he reached a dead end.
With his sensitive eyes, he spotted a small gap to the left side. He bent down and crawled between the dumpster and the wall, curling himself against the wall. When he realized that he was completely on his own now, with his brother probably dead by now, he began to cry.
Small cries and whimpered left his mouth for several hours, until a soft voice filled his ears.
“H – Hello? Who are you?”
Tumblr media
With heavily shaking legs the girl made her way up the well maintained driveway. She stumbled a few times because of those damn high heels, and the short skirt was sliding dangerous high up her thighs, sometimes.
It had been two day since Jungkook broke down in front of the TV in the living room. He cried and whimpered, crawling away from the girl as she tried to help him. He had sat there in the corner of the living room, shaking and mumbling this name for several minutes.
Hope had been crying as well. She didn’t know what was going on with him, and why he suddenly was scared of her again.
Eventually, they both had managed to calm down after 30 minutes. Though Jungkook had still be shaking, he had allowed her to come near. She carefully had wrapped her arms around the boy’s trembling body.
It had been the very first time that they had such an intensive physical affection, but they both needed that.
Jungkook had told her about his older brother Jin. Jin actually wasn’t related to the bunny, but living together for several years he saw him as his brother. He had told her about the illegal fights that his owner had forced the Leopard to go, and about the night, when Jin had told Jungkook his plan.
She was shocked when he told her how good he was threatened in comparison to the Leopard Hybrid. She didn’t want to imagine what the poor cat must had gone through and what his current state of health was.
Jungkook had told her, how he had watched the people shocking his older brother down to the ground without hesitation, and how he had found his way into the allay that night she had found him.
They both had cried that night, hugging and holding each other.
When the next morning had arrived, Hope had decided to save Jungkook’s bother, at any cost.
She didn’t know how she had come up with that plan, but it was the only idea that could save Jin without anyone getting hurt. She didn’t want to risk the Hybrids safety by a stupid idea…if he even was still alive.
She gulped. What if Jin wasn’t alive anymore? What would she tell Jungkook? He would be heartbroken forever if his older brother would be dead. She quickly shook her head and tried to not think about it.
If she left again, then with another Hybrid. An that’s it.
Jungkook could weakly remember where the Cheffersons had their residence, so he could guide her the way.
So right now, she was dressed in her most expensive clothes. Why? Well, Alice and Bill Chefferson were one of the richest families in the whole New York. They have so much money, that probably the doorknob by itself was worth more than her entire apartment. If Hope wanted to let an impression, she needed to pretend to be someone.
She tugged the hem of her black dress down one last time, before she put the black sunglasses over her eyes and lifted the purse on her arm higher. The she rang the doorbell.
A few seconds passed and she thought that her heart would jump out of her ribcage, when suddenly, the door was pulled open.
In front of the small girl stood a tall woman, maybe in her 50’s. She wore a tight red skirt that almost reached her knees, along with some expensive looking heels. She was thin. Under the white and really revealing blouse, her collarbones stood out sharply.
When Hope looked up into the woman’s face, she wanted to take her heels and run far away. With her lips pressed straight onto each other, the extremely straight nose with the sharp top, the strict tied braid and eyes looking arrogant and disgusted, she looked like she could destroyed the girl with one word.
“Yes, please?” She asked with a bored and cold voice.
“I – ehm…” Hope coughed. If she wanted to sound authentic, she needed to pull her act together. At least this one time. She coughed again and began to talk again, this time with a higher and shriller voice.
“Good morning, Mrs. Chefferson.” She smiled with her lipstick covered lips, holding out her hand.
The woman didn’t even move an inch. She stood in the half opened door and watched the girl up and down.
“What do you want? If you are some of those company chicks that want our money, go away!” She didn’t even waited for an answer, before she turned around and kicked the door shut. Hope reacted quickly, she took a step forward and stopped the heavy door with her feet.
“Oh, no. How could I?” She fake laughed. “Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Hope Carson. My father owns one of the biggest Hybrid breeding stations of the New York. I heard that you own that – ah, what breed was he? Oh, yes. You owned that cat that won the last Zoo Meeting in downtown, right?”
“He is an Amur Leopard and yes, my husband is his owner.” Mrs. Chefferson had pushed the door open again. “But he is a good-for-nothing. Believe me, it is a waste of time to try to train him. Good day.”
She was about to shut the door close again, and once again, Hope blocked it with her foot.
“Oh believe me, I know he is good for nothing. I saw him fighting at the last Zoo Meeting. A pathetic little creature.” Lie. She had never been a visitor of an illegal fight club, nor did she really think what she was saying right now. Though, she put as much disregard as possible in the tone of her voice. “The only thing he could be useful for is to do some researches on him. That’s why my father sent me. I wanna take him with me.”
For a few seconds, the woman looked like she didin’t believe the girl’s act. Once again, she eyed her up and down, before she fully pushed the door open.
“What can you offer for him?” An evil smirk formed on the woman’s lips.
Hybrids did absolutely not worth anything to human. Though there is a law that made it illegal to deal with Hybrids, they were sold for so little money that it didn’t worth to most courts to initiate a proceeding. Especially not, if buyer and seller are clever, and exchange the Hybrid’s deed of ownership, because with official documents, it was no dealing. At least that’s what most of the judges justify their verdict.
A deep of ownership is an official paper, which every Hybrid got from the moment he was bred, and what every owner got once he adopted his Hybrid. It was mostly used for owners to prove that they are in charge of the Hybrid, or to assign a free strolling Hybrid. It is comparable to a human’s birth certification.
“I can offer you a lot of money for this worthless animal.” Hope forced an evil smile back, even though she wanted to throw up.
She followed Mrs. Chefferson into the living room, where also her husband was sitting. In his one hand he hold a glass of what looked like Scotch, and in the other hand he was reading a newspaper, not even bothering to look up.
The living room was huge and cold. Though the wall were white, there was not the tiniest piece of…love and effort that would make this house a home. Instead, they had placed a huge, hard looking sofa in the middle of the room, along with a giant chandelier hanging directly above it.
“Honey, who was at the door?” He mumbled while flicking the page, still not looking up. His voice was deep and careless, like his wife’s voice, bouncing around the naked walls.
“Darling!” Mrs. Chefferson squeaked with a shrilling voice, as she sat down next to the man, placing her bony fingers onto his chest. “This woman offers us a lot of money for that cat in our basement. She said that she would pay 1500 $ for him. She says that the only thing left to do with him is to do some researches on him.”
Finally, the man looked up. His gaze was piercing sharp when he met Hope’s. The girl wanted nothing more than to turn around and run as fast as her feet could carry her, but she stayed still with her lips presses hard against each other. She needed to stay strong. For Jungkook and Jin.
When Ms. Chefferson had eyes the girl for a few seconds, he sighed and turned his attention back to his newspaper.
“Save your money, Miss.” He said bored, not even looking up. “We still earn much money with him at the Meetings. Why would we sell him?”
Miss Chefferson, who somehow seemed to have a strong urge to sell the Hybrid, was about to say something towards her husband, but Hope was faster.
“Mr. Chefferson.” She said loudly, making him look up from the piece of paper. “I offer this one time chance to sell me that Hybrid. I saw him fighting. He won’t do it much longer, believe me. Soon, you will loose a lot of money because of him, and no one will be there to buy him from you, because he will has no worth at all. So why not taking all you still can get for him?”
“She is right, darling. Think about it. Who will buy such a weak Hybrid?” She leaned further into his, before whispering something into his ear.
Hope’s heart felt like it would be exploding any moment. She had prepared for any scenario that could have possible take place, but what would she do if he would say no? What –
“Alright, Honey.” He signed again, before closing the newspaper. He stood up from the sofa and smoothed his beige trousers. “You can have him. But you won’t see him just yet. Either you sign his papers and pay for him just now, or never.”
The girl didn’t have to think about this condition long. The sooner she would sign the papers, the less high is the chance that he would change his mind before she can leave with Jin.
“That is fine by me.” Hope said, as she pushed her glasses higher onto her nose. "The sooner I am done here, the sooner I can spend my energy in much more important things. After all, I am a busy woman.”
Together, the trio made their way into another room. On the way, Ms. Chefferson had asked on of his housekeepers to get the papers from his office. She arrived a few minutes later with some sheets of paper in her hand, lying it on the big desk in the middle of the room.
Ms. Chefferson pushed the deed of ownership over the table, gesturing for the girl to read it.
Name: Kim Seokjin
Gender: male
Breed: Amur Leopard
Generation: 04.12.2024
Laboratory: Seoul, South Korea
“Where can I sign?” Hope asked, as she laid the paper down on the desk.
Ms. Chefferson gave a few papers with conditions and legal protections to read and sign. To her luck, she had been studying law for about 3 year, she knew how to read a contract and what dangers it could bring, but the Chefferons really seemed get rid of the Hybrid. She signed everything and put the deed of ownership into her purse.
Her heart stopped for a moment when she realized what she just had done. She had practically adopted a Hybrid, a living being that needed to be provide and cared for. She didn’t even had a steady job, nor did she had a college degree.
Her mother, who had died a few years ago, inherit her a lot of money she had saved over the year, and in addition to that, Hope worked parttime in the college’s library, but with three people that needed to be provide, they would need to be really economical.
But it had been the only way to save Jin, and that was the only thing that mattered.
“Well, then congratulation miss Carson, for adopting such a lovely Hybrid. I think you will have plenty of fun with him.” He waited a second, before breaking out into a loud laughing. “Follow me and you can finally take that worthless animal out of my house.”
Once again, the trio waled through the endless hallways of the mansion. They passed several doors that lead to several rooms, but as they crossed the front door, something caught Hope’s attention. Next to the black door, on a small hook, hung a long, pink leash. The leash was connected with a big collar at the end, on which two capital letters were printed with big gemstones:
JK
“Jungkook.” The girl whispered under her breath, unnoticed by the couple.
“That leash belonged to our bunny Hybrid.” Ms. Chefferson has caught her looking at the leash for too long. He walked past the girl with shaking head. “Annoying little rodents. Always made a mess and never listened to what he was told. I am kind of glad he ran away. He probably died the first two hours being out there alone. We gave him up for adoption though, should he be someone else’s problem.”
Hope balled her hands into fists, wanting nothing more than to punch this man. But she needed to focus on Jin now.
They walked down a long staircase, downwards towards the basement. A shiver ran down the girl’s spine. Down there, it was dark and cold. The sound of their feet hitting the cold, marbled floor bounced around the wall, and for a moment Hope thought that she would never leave this house again. This was the start of a horror movie.
Ms. Chefferson stopped in front of a big, metallic door. He pulled out a key and unlocked the door, before pulling it open.
“Don’t worry.” He said as he took a step inside. “He is cuffed up.”
Hope’s legs started shaking again. She didn’t know what scenario would be waiting for her just around the corner. She made a few careful steps forward and walked into the small cell, immediately, she wanted to cry out.
The room was small, maybe 3x3 meters each side. There was no window, or bed, or table, or anything. Just walls and a hard stone floor. The only source of light was the beam of light from the open door.
In the corner of the room, on the cold floor, sat Jin. His thin body was only covered by a pair of dirty pants and a ripped and blood stained shirt. His head was leaned against the gold wall and his eyes were closed, while his angles and wrists were cuffed with a heavy metallic chain, like he was a wild animal.
“Stand up!” Ms. Chefferson screamed at the poor boy, while walked over with a black leash in his hands. “I said: Stand. Up!”
He had reached the helpless boy and bent down, before hegrabbed his right ear forcefully, pulling him up. Jin cried out in pain, but with is hands bound together there was nothing he could do to defend himself.
“I dare you to touch my Hybrid!” Hope lost her temper at this point. “This is my Hybrid, and I don’t want you to touch him. Now, get out! I want to inspect him properly.”
The older man let go of the Hybrid’s ear abruptly, making him fall to the ground again. A small whimper left the Hybrids when his bum hit the hard floor. He tried to push himself as far away as he came with his angles cuffed.
Ms. Chefferson looked confused in the first moment. He struggled to say something, but eventually, he gave her the keys for Jin’s cuffs, before he left the room, leaving the two young adult alone.
Immediately, Hope let her purse fall to the ground. She let out a small cry, before she covered her mouth with her hands to not cry out louder. She took some deep breaths and tried to calm herself down a little bit. When she opened her eyes again, the Hybrid was staring directly into her eyes.
“H – Hey, Jin.” She whispered with her normal, soft voice, as she kneeled down on to floor. Her voice cracked a few times from the shock that was still running through her veins.
She crawled closer towards the boy. When she was just a few inches away from him, she lifted her hands to unlock the cuffs around his neck. Jin, on the other hand, misunderstood this gesture. He closed his eyes and turned his head away from the girl, as whimpers left his mouth.
“No – No don’t be afraid, please.” She fiddled with the key around his neck. The collar snapped open and the metal chain fell to the ground with a loud clinging sound. She then uncuffed his wrists and angles. “I am here to help you. But we have to hurry, Jungkook is waiting for us.”
As she mentioned the younger boy’s name, Jin’s head shot around.
“Jungkook.” He whispered with his raspy voice.
“Yes, Jungkook is with me. He is all safe and sound.” Hope threw the key away. “Listen Jin, you need to play along with me. I need to strap this leash around your neck, but only for a short moment. Please, don’t be afraid of me. Okay?”
Jin didn’t put up a fight as she strapped the collar loosely around his neck. She helped him to stand up on his feet, and he wobbly followed her out of the cell. Hope changed some more words with the couple, before she and Jin left the house.
The girl just wanted to leave as quick as possible, but was always careful to not tug on the leash too hard. When she turned around, she gasped.
In the light of the sun, Jin looked much worse than in the dark cell. His face way thin and bony. The dark circles stood out of his pale skin, and his full lips were bruised and crusty from all the dust and dirt. His deep brown hair, as well as the fur on his ears, was greasy and falling over his forehead.
As he walked behind her, he had his head sunk down, not looking up at anything.
It took Hope anything to not turn back and punch those two disgusting creatures that called themselves human. How can they be even sleep at night, knowing that in their basement a living being was starving and bleeding to death. How could they watch themselves in the mirror every day, knowing that they live in luxury while Jin laid between dirt and dust.
“Almost there, Jin. Just keep going a few more meters.” She took his bloody and icy hand carefully, leading him the way to the car, where also Jungkook was waiting for the both of them.
“Jin!” He yelp, as the girl opened the car door and carefully pushed Jin onto the back seat. “Jin Hyung! Oh no, Jin! Are you okay Hyung! You are safe now, don’t worry Jin.”
The bunny was calling Jin’s name all over again, as the older one just had his eyes closed and his body lying weakly on the backseat.
“Don’t worry, Jungkook.” Hope had walked around the car and was already staring it.
“He will be okay now.“

You Never Walk Alone | Chapter 14
Genre: Werewolf!AU, Poly!AU?, Mate!AU, romance, fluff
Pairing: OT7 x Reader
Characters: Student!reader, Omega!Seokjin, Alpha!Yoongi, Beta!Hoseok, Alpha!Namjoon, Omega!Jimin, Beta!Taehyung, Alpha!Jungkook
Summary: You live a quiet life in your late grandfather’s cabin in the woods. You go to school just to graduate and get your diploma, not to make friends or stand out from the crowd. That was until one day, you enter your home to see a pack of wolves that need shelter.
The thought of their mate being a target starts to make the boys panic. Being so caught up in their fear, they forgot to consider your feelings and opinions as well.
Tumblr media
“Let’s talk about what’s going on.” You said as you sat down. The boys all looked at each other.
“No mental conversations! Tell me everything.” You whined.
“Relax, jagi. We’re not having a mental conversation, we just looked at each other, that’s all.” Yoongi chuckled, ruffling your hair. You huffed and leaned back, tucking yourself under his arm to cuddle him. He draped an arm around you lazily to embrace you.
“With you being the princes’ mate, there are bound to be... some rivals that try to get to us through you.” Namjoon explained.
“They see you as our weakness.”
“But the first time they appeared, when all of you were still wolves, before all of this happened. We weren’t mates yet, right? Or at least, not verbally claimed as mates.” You said.
“They must have assumed then because they found the whole pack living with you. The other packs, even the rogues, would do anything to try and take down the royal pack and take their place. It’s one of the downsides of being royal, I guess. But don’t worry, we’ll never let them hurt you.” Yoongi rubbed the side of your arm in reassurance.
“I trust you guys.” You forced a smile.
“We’ll just have to patrol more and make sure that no one else crosses the border.” Jungkook shrugged.
“They know where I live.” You said in realisation. All the other enemy wolf attacks have been in the area of your home. And today, the other wolf was waiting for you in front of your house while another attacked Jungkook.
“Don’t worry. We will figure something out.” Taehyung comforted and you nodded your head.
“Shall I make dinner?” You offered.
“You don’t have to. We can just order delivery and relax.” Hoseok said. You shook your head, wanting to get your mind off thigns by cooking dinner for them. Besides, it has been a while since you cooked.
“I can handle it. You guys just chill.” You waved them off. Having cooked with Yoongi and Jin, as well as make snacks with Jungkook, in their kitchen multiple times, you were quite familiar with the layout of the space and knew where everything was placed.
“What shall we do?” Jimin asked.
“Like Jungkook said, have more patrol. But they do know where she lives so that’s another problem. We can’t be there 24/7 just to wait for an enemy attack.” Namjoon said.
“Why not?”
“Because Tae, she needs her space too. She won’t like it and it is an invasion of her privacy.” Yoongi pointed out.
“Maybe we can convince her to camp over here for a while? And just... stay in?” Jin suggested.
“That’s not a bad idea, hyung. Either that or we travel for a few days just to let things settle. I’m not sure if getting her to stay here and abandoning the house is going to be so effective. She’ll get worried that someone might attack her cabin. And it’s her grandfather’s so all the more will she want to protect it from destruction.” Namjoon shook his head.
“He’s right.” Yoongi nodded.
“Then we go on a holiday instead? Firstly, she won’t let us pay for her. Secondly, she won’t skip exams or work just because we want to protect her.” Hoseok said and everyone nodded in agreement.
“Let’s just bring the idea up. See what she says or how she reacts to it.” Jungkook told them.
“Jungkook is right. But let’s tell her nicely and explain our reasons that we’re doing it to keep her safe and that we know it’s hard but we have to. Don’t make her upset or angry.” Namjoon said.
“Asking her to skip exams, skip work and stay with us? Hyung, she might get angry either way.” Taehyung stated.
“Boys, cut the mental conversation. Dinner is ready.” You laughed as you called out to them. For dinner, you made bibimmyeon with pan seared beef slices on the side, the boys’ favourite. They all sat down with stiff looks on their faces, making you a little worried.
“What?” You asked.
“Nothing.” Jungkook shook his head.
“It’s not nothing if you guys all have the same look on your face.” You said as you took all the cutlery from the kitchen and handed them out.
“Let’s eat first, okay?” Jin ruffled your hair. You nodded and sat down. The boys tried their best to act normal and still have the usual conversations with you through the dinner.
“There are still 4 exams to go.” You sighed.
“Anyway, thanks again for what you did yesterday, Koo. I still feel so bad that you had to miss the exam and forfeit your exam entire grade because of me.” Your head hung low in guilt as you remembered what the teacher said.
“Don’t feel bad, (y/n). It’s not your fault and like I said, the exam and grade is more important to you than it is to me. I never wanted to take the exam anyway so I never really studied. I would rather me forfeit the grade than you. You’ve actually worked hard and you shouldn’t have to forgo your chance just because Kira decided to be a b*tch.” Jungkook shrugged.
“Then why would you even go for the exam?” You asked.
“I go for you. To support you.” He said honestly and you softened at that, reaching over to hold his hand.
“That means a lot, Kookie. Thank you. But studies and grades are still important, okay?” You smiled, squeezing his hand lightly. He nodded obediently with a bunny smile.
After dinner, you sat in the living room, waiting for the boys to clean up and do the dishes. You wanted to help but since you cooked, they didn’t allow it.
“Coffee?” Yoongi asked.
“Yes, please.” You smiled and he walked away to fix you an iced coffee. He set in front of you, taking the seat beside you. His hand squeezed your waist as he kissed your cheek lovingly. You yawned and leaned against his chest comfortably as you waited for the others.
“All done?” Yoongi asked the 6 who came. They nodded and took their respective seats.
“So, with what happened yesterday, it is normal for us to be concerned about your safety, (y/n). You’re our mate and we want to make sure your safe and well protected.” Namjoon said and you nodded.
“We think it’s best that you come and stay with us temporarily. And just stay in for the time being.” He continued, looking at you.
“What do you mean?”
“Stay with us for now. And I know it’s going against what you want but we don’t think you should go to school for the remaining exams and work for a while.” Jin explained.
“You say it’s for the best. The best for me or you?” You asked.
“Of course, you. This way, it’ll be easier to protect you. And since you’ll be with us and not alone, the enemies are less likely to strike, knowing that the 7 of us are here to defend you.” Yoongi said from beside you.
“I... I can’t.” You shook your head.
“(y/n), we know you’re worried because it is your grandfather’s cabin. We promise to protect it and make sure that nothing happens to it. Our plan is to still be patrolling the area as we always do to make sure that no one else crosses over the border. As for work and exams, we have to prioritise your safety.” Hoseok informed.
“How long will I have to stay here? Trapped?”
“You won’t be trapped, (y/n). We don’t know how long you’ll have to stay here. As long as we feel that there is a threat...” Jimin spoke.
“Did you guys think about what I feel? Or did you make this decision for me?” You asked but it came out a lot colder than you wanted. Of course you knew the boys had your best interest at heart.
“We’re not forcing you into a decision, (y/n). It’s just a discussion.” Jin tried to keep you calm, feeling your rising anger. They all felt it.
“Then my answer is no. I’m not leaving my cabin, not skipping my exams or work.” You said firmly.
“Why not?! It’s just a dumb exam! It won’t mean anything!” Taehyung grew ticked off. You looked away, taking a deep breath.
“You asked me and my answer is no. I know you guys have my best interest at heart and are doing this for my safety. You know my grades mean a lot to me and working is the only way I can support myself independently. I’m sorry, I just can’t leave my life and home now.” You told them.
“(y/n), just think about it.” Yoongi tried to persuade you.
“I did. You guys know how much the exams mean to me. It’s a promise to my grandfather that I am going to keep.”
“You keep going on about you and what you want! You’re being unreasonable. Do you think we want to do this, either? We’re doing it to protect you and keep you from getting hurt!” Jimin was also growing impatient.
“I’m not.”
“You aren’t? You make it sound like we’re the selfish ones that want to rip you away from your life. It’s only temporary! Yet you’re not willing to compromise because of some stupid promise.” Taehyung sided with his best friend.
“It’s not stupid...” You blinked away your tears.
“That’s enough, you two.” Namjoon stepped in before things could get uglier.
“All we want to do is keep her safe, hyung! But she’s making it so hard. Is this what it is like having a human for a mate?!” Jimin yelled out in frustration.
“Park Jimin!” Yoongi shouted.
“I’m sorry you have a human for a mate then.” You whispered. Grabbing your bag, you wore your shoes and left the house. You went home and locked yourself in, feeling your heart break.
“Park Jimin, how dare you?!” Jin screamed. Jimin lowered his head, looking down as tears fell from his eyes. Namjoon sighed, rubbing his temples. That was not how the conversation was supposed to go. But he did predict that either way, one side would get hurt. He knew what your personality was like, you were strong headed and stuck to your beliefs.
“Taehyung too!” Yoongi scolded.
“Everyone just go to your rooms.” Namjoon used his leader authority. The 6 obediently retreated to their rooms.
Namjoon took his keys and went down to the basement where the attacker from yesterday was chained up, with reinforced bars, made of silver, separating him and the weakened enemy.
“Back... so soon?” The enemy smirked.
“Your brother is dead. You shouldn’t be so confident in yourself.” Namjoon raised an eyebrow.
“Lies.” The enemy said.
“You think so? Because I cleaned the body this morning and it was very real. If it’s any consolation, I saved this.” Namjoon tilted his head as he took something out from his pocket. He dangled the shark tooth pendent from his hand. The enemy’s eyes widened as Namjoon smirked.
“That’s what you get for trying to attack the princes’ mate.” Namjoon dropped the pendent, smashing it with his foot.
“You f*cker!” The chained man shouted in rage.
*growl*
The enemy tried to shift but the silver chains that held him back didn’t allow him to do so. Namjoon just looked on in amusement. These people were the reason why his pack and mate were fighting.
“You can’t stop us... We... will get... your precious... mate.” The enemy coughed out blood, spitting it onto the ground. Namjoon rolled his eyes.
“It’s cute that you think you can still beat us.” Namjoon whistled as he walked up the stairs, leaving the enemy again. When he came out, he noticed the side door open and saw clothes on the door. Stepping closer, he recognised the clothes to belong to Jin. He guessed that Jin had gone to see how you were doing and comfort you.
Namjoon was right, Jin stepped onto your front yard. He could hear your soft sobs from inside the house and his heart broke.
“I hate that we’re the cause of your tears, my love.” Jin whimpered softly, threading over to the porch. He climbed up the two steps and sat by the door. Lifting up a paw, he hesitated to knock.
“At the end of the day, I’ll just be alone.” He heard you say.
“No, you’ll never be alone. I won’t allow it.” Jin put his paw down and just curled up by your door step.
He knew Jimin and Taehyung were frustrated with you but at the same time, it wasn’t right for Jimin to say what he said. Even after knowing them and learning from them, the boys knew well enough that you were trying to grasp at the fact that werewolves were even real.
“Jin?” The door opened and Jin lifted his head. He whimpered at the sight of your red eyes and nose. Falling to your knees, you threw your arms around him to hug him.
“I’m sorry.” You cried into his fur.
“Don’t be sorry. It’s not your fault.” He leaned his head into yours, licking your cheek lightly. You let him come into the house and cuddled with him on the couch. Jin didn’t even make a sound, giving you peace and quiet.
“Taehyung’s right, I’m selfish. I’m such a horrible mate.” You cried.
“Don’t say that. You know that’s not true. You’re a wonderful mate. What Taehyung said was just out of anger. He doesn’t mean that. He just loves you, we all do. Don’t cry anymore, love.” Jin let out a short whimper. You rubbed your face into his fur, just enjoying his warmth and comfort. You were glad he was just here to listen to you.
“Want a cookie?” You stood up and went to the kitchen. Jin barked in response, wagging his tail.
“I’ve got you.” You came back with a jar of cookies you made and a tub of ice cream. Turning on the television, you scooped ice cream onto the cookie and took a bite, holding it out to Jin.
“Hyung, where are you?” Yoongi asked.
“With her.” He replied as he took a bite of the cookie, licking the ice cream that dripped onto your fingers.
“Is she... okay?” Yoongi seemed hesitant to ask about how you were.
“She’s... okay. Upset but not with us. I’m just here for her to let her cry on me. I don’t want her to think we’re angry and left her alone.” Jin explained, looking up at you, who was focused on the television. You felt his stare and turned to him, blinking.
“Want more?” You tilted your head. Jin gave a nod and you held out some ice cream on the spare spoon you had.
-
The next day, you grabbed your backpack and got ready for the next exam day. Glancing at your grandfather’s picture on your nightstand, you picked it up and smiled softly.
“This is all for you.” You whispered and put the picture back down, slipping your blazer over your shoulders. As you stared at your reflection, your eyes zoomed in onto the white crystal that hung from your neck. The very thing that connects you and the boys. Sighing, you tucked it under your shirt and slung your bag over your shoulder to head downstairs.
“Namjoon?” You saw the boy standing in your porch. He turned around and gave you a small smile.
“What are you doing here?” You locked the door behind you.
“Waiting for you. So we can go to school together.” He flashed you his dimple as he held your hand. You nodded your head and walked with him. The other boys were no where in sight.
“They’re not coming... aren’t they?” You asked softly.
“Hobi and Jin hyung are coming.” He tried to sound optimistic. On the bright side, you didn’t need to face Jimin and Taehyung for now. The other two werewolves came and greeted you normally. Jin hugged you while Hoseok ruffled your hair.
“Are you okay?” Hoseok cupped your cheek to make you look at him. You nodded your head.
“I love you.” He whispered, staring into your eyes.
“I love you too.” You gave a small smile. He wrapped an arm around your shoulder, keeping it there for the rest of the journey. When the bus came to a stop, you got off with the 3.
“Just focus on your exam, alright angel?” Namjoon stroked your cheek. You nodded your head obediently, hugging him.
“Let’s go.” You all went in to sit.
Yoongi groaned as he tossed in bed. He knew that Jin, Hoseok and Namjoon had gone to support you through your remaining exams. Even if he wanted to be there, he didn’t want to leave his room. He was still angry with Jimin and Taehyung for the way they acted and spoke to you. He knew the best option was for him to contain his anger to his room.
‘All the best, jagi. I’m sorry I can’t be there. - Yoongi’
He sent you a text and flopped back onto the mattess. Soft hip hop music was playing through his bluetooth speakers.
“Hyung, I’m going on patrol.” Jungkook informed with a knock. Yoongi grunted in response and heard the maknae’s retreating footsteps. He finally got up and opened the window.
“I need a walk.” Yoongi jumped out the window, shifting in mid air and landing on his paws. He shook his fur and snorted before walking off into the forest.
Jimin and Taehyung were in their own rooms, they have been there since last night, when Namjoon sent all of them away. Jimin cried the whole night while Taehyung was just brooding, staring at the blank wall.
“I’m sorry you have a human for a mate then.”
Your crestfallen face would forever be imprinted on Jimin’s mind. He hated that he was the cause of your tears and heartbreak. Everything he said was just in a fit of anger. He knew it was immature and wrong of him to be venting it on you. Of course, he didn’t care if you were human or werewolf.
He loves you.
“You’re seriously stupid, Park Jimin.” He scolded himself, throwing his arm over his eyes as he sighed.
Taehyung felt so much guilt. He knew he had no right to call your promise to your grandfather stupid, especially since he was the one you spilled all your worries and past to.
“I’m sorry, my love.” Taehyung shook his head. Your grandfather was your world, he was there before any of the boys were.
All the boys were well aware that you were not over your grandfather’s passing and it still made you sad when he was brought up in conversations. And yet, just to make you follow what they wanted, Taehyung did the worse by dismissing and insulting whatever promise or agreement you had with him before he died.
“I’ll make it up to you.” He squeezed his green crystal with determination.

The humming engine and ripples of the wind faintly filled the silence within the SUV. You were bored out of your mind, looking between all your friends and wondering how the hell they were doing just fine for the past four hours. Namjoon was sitting just behind the driver’s seat where Jin was, enthralled with his writing as he scowled at his notebook and shifted in his seat way too much for your liking. Yoongi sat beside him with his earbuds in and music blasting so loud, you could hear it all the way in the back from your seat. Taehyung sat between them, editing photos on his phone while he too bopped his head along to the music in his earbuds. Jimin took the second row all to himself. He was previously sitting beside Taehyung, but had convinced him during your last reset spot to sit by Namjoon and Yoongi so that he could lay down. He always got a back case of car sickness on long trips like these. And Hoseok sat in the passenger’s seat, muttering directions to Jin and occasionally making cute sound effects.
Everyone managed to keep themselves busy but you. Even your boyfriend of one year, who sat beside you in the last row of seats, was playing some stupid game on his phone, muttering curses under his breath every so often. You had tried to entertain yourself, gazing out the window to daydream, listening to some music, reading a book, but everything just seemed to lose it’s appeal all too quickly.
You sighed, leaning your head back against the car seat with a pout. Jungkook pretended he didn’t notice just to get under your skin.  He knew you adored his attention and would sometimes purposely deny you it just because he simply could. You huffed again, louder this time, and tried to catch his gaze in the corner of your eye.
Jungkook exited his game and locked his phone before looking at you. He mimicked your pout and annoyed eyes, silently giggling to himself. You bit your lip to keep from laughing, wanting him to know you were seriously bored and done with the stupid car ride.
“Just three more hours,” he reassured. He knew you were getting restless, wanting to just be there already and lounging on the beach with him by your side. “Try to relax, hun,” he offered a gentle smile, curling a strand of your hair behind your ear.
You exhaled deeply and nodded. You weren’t sure how you’d be able to relax with the awkward blend of Taehyung and Yoongi’s faint music, Namjoon’s constant shifts and Hoseok’s sound effects. You were going to ask him what he would suggest you do, however you somehow got lost in his soft gaze. It wasn’t the first time this happened, but you still weren’t used to the feeling. An idea trickling into your mind, making you blush under his gaze.
He furrowed his brows at you, wondering why you were going red all of a sudden. Before he could ask, you relocated your hand from your lap to his crotch, cupping his soft cock as it began to get hard under your touch.
A gasp got caught in his throat from the sudden action. He looked down at it confused, but didn’t make an effort to remove your hand or tell you to stop. “Was this morning not enough?” He whispered, looking back up at you.
You smiled sweetly, then licked your lips before replying, “Kookie, don’t you know by now?  I can never get enough of you.” Your voice was dripping with sugar. The sweet innocence you radiated made him bite his lip as he swallowed hard, bobbing his adam’s apple. You began to palm him through his jeans, only just making him shiver against your touch.
“Think you’re being cute?”
“I know I am.”
Wrong answer. His hand shot up to wrap tightly around your throat. Your eyes widened, darting around the car to see if anyone had noticed. They were too consumed with whatever the hell they were doing to care about you two back there.
“Wanna try that again, babe,” he hissed, somehow still sounding kind through his rough tone.
You remained silent, knowing better than to talk back to him right now. Your hand on his crotch ceased all movements, simply resting there and feeling him grow harder in your palm. He seemed satisfied with your silence, loosening his grip on your throat and pulling you in for a gentle peck upon your lips.
He completely let go of your throat as he sat back in his seat. “Good girl,” he hummed. His hands then moved to unbuckle his belt. “If you’re so desperate for something to do,” he started, shifting his pants low enough to pull out his cock. “I can always provide you with suggestions.”
Your mouth watered at the sight of his big cock. Hard and slightly curved, it stood tall. You glanced around again, making sure no one caught you leaning down to take that cock deep in your mouth. Usually, you wouldn’t be so bold. You lick up and down his girthy shaft first, swirl your tongue around his tip, suck up all the precum he would provide, then begin to take him inch by throbbing inch. But, with how you pissed him off earlier, you wanted to show him how much you regret your actions.
You coated half his cock instantly with your saliva. He inhaled sharply, enjoying the quiet, wet noises of your slobbers and slurps. His hands pulled your hair back into a makeshift ponytail and he used that grip to guide your head up and down his cock. He smirked at the sight of you so willingly going down on him while all his friends were around. He admired your efforts, gazing at your eager eyes as you enjoyed yourself.
You pulled up suddenly, confusing him. You didn’t really register that he was about to tell you off for it, eyes trained on that wet cock as you repositioned yourself to be sitting on your knees atop the cushioned seats of the car. Once you were comfortable, you returned your mouth around his cock, moaning at the salty taste of his precum.
Jungkook rested his head back against the headrest at the returned contact, eyes fluttering closed in a state of pleasure. Though he was loving the feeling of your mouth and wanted desperately to get lost in it, he couldn’t bring himself to close his eyes for too long. He looked back down at you a second later, knowing it would’ve been a shame to miss seeing his babygirl at work.
You pulled back from your head bobs until your lips were pressed against his tip. You continued to pump his cock with both your small hands. His cock still hadn’t been fully taken inside your mouth yet. You were working your way to it. For now, however, you felt like he needed to be a bit wetter. You collected the precum you had in your mouth with some saliva and spat it over his cock.
He let out a shaky sigh at the sight. One of his hands remained on your head, holding your hair while you went back to your previous rhythm of sucks and swirls of your tongue, while his other hand slid down your back and to your ass, rubbing your just barely covered asscheeks. Since being in your new position, you flowy skirt had crept up to your hips, revealing a bit of your bare ass. You had been wearing panties this morning, but Jungkook took them after fucking you against his luggage for talking back. They now sat in one of his pockets, staining his jeans with the scent of you.
You felt yourself getting wet at the memory, pressing your thighs together as you took him a bit deeper. You were about to moan when Jungkook suddenly pushed your head all the way down his cock, bottoming out in your throat and making you gagging uncontrollably. His hand fixed your skirt, covering your ass once more and he coughed to cover up your lewd sounds.
“You okay?” Jin asked, glancing at Jungkook from the rearview mirror.
Your eyes watered as you held your breath to subside all your gags. Jungkook ceased his fake coughs and nodded, “just fine.
Hoseok turned back to check on him, causing Taehyung to do the same. “Where’s (Y/N)?”
“Sleeping,” Jungkook immediately answered. His hips involuntarily buckled into your mouth and you gripped onto the hem of his shirt to remain steady and still.
Hoseok nodded and turned around. Taehyung glanced at Jimin’s sleeping figure, making sure he was okay too before turning back around as well.
Jungkook released his grip on you, and you rose up enough to look up at him but not enough for them to see you in the mirror should they glance back. Tears were streaming down your face and your mouth was glistening with your saliva and remnants of his precum.
He offered you a sheepish smile, soothing your ruined hair down. “I’m sorry, babygirl,” he mumbled. “I didn’t realize he was staring at me until I glanced at the mirror.”
You licked your lips, in an attempt to clean the mess around them, and nodded. You couldn’t really blame him. Besides, you were panting all too much to reply to him anyways. He nudged on your shoulder to signal you to sit up and wiped whatever drool was left on your face with the back of his hand. “Come sit on daddy’s cock, princess,” he cooed.
You nervously looked back to the front of the car. “I thought you told them I was sleeping,” you replied. It’s not that you didn’t want to sit on his cock; that was all you wanted. But the last thing you needed was any of the guys getting a good view of your fucked out face and features. That right was only reserved for Jungkook as his beautiful sex faces belong to you as well.
Jungkook was already helping you climb over his lap as he reassured, “just lean back and shut your eyes, baby. They won’t know the difference.”
He lifted your skirt enough for you to spread your legs a bit and sink down on his cock. You hurried the action, biting down on your lip to keep from screaming at the amazing burn of the stretch. Your ass finally met his hips and you did as he told you, leaning your back against him and fluttering your eyes closed.
“Try not to look like you have a cock in you, babygirl,” he chuckled against your jawline, admiring your parted lips and knitted brows.
You wanted to follow orders but his cock just felt so fucking good, throbbing against your cunt walls. You rolled your hips a bit, gasping at the subtle friction, but Jungkook was quick to end it all, holding your hips still with an unforgiving grip. You were sure you’d see bruises surface in their wake later.
Jungkook tsked against your skin, “what did we say about behaving, hunny?”
You shuddered against him. Your eyes slowly opened and you turned to look down at him with a pouty. “Sorry,” you whispered.
He breathed a chuckle, waving your misbehaviour away just from the mere sight of you looking so helplessly cute. “Just stay still.”
Tumblr media
“We’ll be there in about an hour,” Hoseok announced in reply to Jimin’s question.
All the guys were engaging in lively conversations, abandoning their previous tasks and singing along to their upbeat playlist. Only you and Jungkook remained silent, his arms wrapped around your waist. He was forced to do this as you kept shifting about. With his strong hands holding you down, it was impossible for you to move. His occasionally twitching cock was the only friction you were allotted.
You rested your head against the headrest in front of you and cried desperate tears of frustration. You were ready to scream “fuck it,” and start bouncing on his cock, simply wanting to feel something. Jungkook kissed your back, muttering words of encouragement in hopes to calm you down. You knew he was ready to throw all caution out the car window too and ram his hips up into you, that this edging wasn’t one sided. But, you still couldn’t stop your silent tears.
“You’re doing so well, babygirl.” Jungkook whispered, leaning over you to have his lips meet your ear. His cock reached deep inside you, forcing a sob out as they guys belted the chorus of the song. Their voices masked your slip up.
He kissed your cheek, tasting your tears no doubt. “Look, at you taking daddy’s cock like the good girl you are, huh? You’ve been behaving so well. Such a good little girl. I’m going to reward you later for that baby.”
You raveled in his praises, whimpering meekly as you tried to calm yourself down. You knew it was a useless task, his cock always and forever being your weakness, but if you didn’t at least try you were going to scream.
“Can you take the next exit?” Yoongi asked, as the song ended.
Jin sighed, quirking his head to the left a bit. “Can’t you hold it? We’re almost there,” he replied, readjusting his grip on the steering wheel.
“I can’t and won’t,” he stubbornly answered over the next tune that played.
Jin compiled without another word, signalling to move into the next lane towards the exit. He must’ve known he wouldn’t hear the end of it if he didn’t.
You couldn’t believe it. This stop was going to tack on an extra twenty minutes to the trip. That was twenty more minutes you'll remain on his cock, twenty more mintues of blissful torture. A loud whine you couldn’t at all help escaped you.
The guys turned to look back at you with concern washing over them. Hoseok turned down the volume as they all asked a series of “you alright?”
You nodded, unable to answer conhertantly. Namjoon was the first of them to notice your tears. “Are you hurt?” he asked, looking between you and Jungkook.
Jimin, being the closest to you, began to rub your head out of concern. Jungkook huffed a quiet growl in your ear, causing shivers to run up and down your spine, and caught Jimin’s wrist. The harsh action shocked everyone in the car into confused silence. Jimin stared at Jungkook, expectedly waiting for an explanation.
“She has a headache,” he muttered. “It’s best not to touch there. It’ll only make it worse.” His voice sounded surprisingly steady and believable. He then released Jimin’s hand and returned his arm back to his hold around your waist.
They all nodded, and promised to keep it down. You stayed settled on Jungkook’s cock, quietly whining and crying into the headrest in front of you.
The car pulled into the parking lot. Jin and Hoseok jumped out to get some food, while Yoongi and Jimin left to use the washroom. Namjoon stayed behind with Taehyung, discussing the things they wanted to do once they got there.
“Hyung, do you mind going to grab us some water?” Jungkook asked.
Namjoon and Taehyung looked at each other, trying to figure out which one of them Jungkook was referring to. Namjoon was the closest to the door so he nodded and said he’d be right back. After a minute or two, Jungkook conveniently sighed out in feigned annoyance.
Taehyung turned back, raising a brow as a means of asking what was wrong.
“I forgot to tell him to grab (Y/N) some aspirin for her headache,” he smoothly lied, breath suddenly catching in his throat. He cleared it and asked, “do you mind going to get it?”
Taehyung spared you one last pitiful glance and nodded. “Do you guys want anything to eat too?”
You shook your head quickly, finally catching onto Jungkook’s drift and just wanting Taehyung to leave already.
“Just grab us whatever Jin gets for himself,” he replied.
Taehyung nodded and jumped out of the car. Jungkook waited for him to be far enough before removing his arm from your waist and replacing them with his rough fingers. “Jump,” he growled.
You didn’t need to be told twice, immediately bouncing up and down rapidly on his cock. You were thankful you had his hands guiding you up and down his shaft because you were growing weaker with every thrust. Tears continued to fall freely down your face at finally being able to ravel at the feeling of his cock rubbing against your tight walls and slamming against the one right spot. Your orgasm was already on the edge those last few thrusts triggering it in full effect.
“D-daddy, I’m gon-” you started screaming your warning but he cut you off.
“Just fucking do it!” he groaned, clenching his jaw.
You came all over him, quivering, crying, screaming his name as the car shook from your desperate movements to ride out your high. Jungkook’s orgasm was right behind yours, strong body stiffening while unleashing his full load deep in you as you continued to bounce on him.
When you couldn’t take anymore, you fell back limp on his chest. He jerked his hips up into you a couple of more times, swirling his cum with yours before resting back too. His lips showered your neck with kisses. “I’m so proud of you, babygirl,” he chuckled. “You really took daddy’s cock for a ride.”
You blushed, breathy giggles escaping you as you tried to catch your breath. “I can’t help it,” you replied in a whine.
He laughed and kissed your cheek. As he wiped your tears away, his cock began to soften inside you. You shifted uncomfortable, suddenly starting to feel overstimulated. Jungkook couldn’t put you through anymore teasing after that two hour long edge you were both battling against. He helped you up and off his cock, cupping your pussy from leaking all over the rental.
“Shit, we didn’t think this through,” Jungkook chuckled, catching gallops of your mixed cum in his hand.
You sighed, wondering what the fuck to do now. It was only a matter of time before they returned. You did the only thing you could think of, hovering your hand under his. “Eat up, daddy,” you blushed.
His cheeks tinted a light pink too. He brought his cum coated fingers to his mouth, groaning. You caught some cum as well, mimicking his actions. You held his gaze all throughout your filthy meal together. Jungkook pushed his fingers in you, collecting more cum to eat. You hissed at the contact, not yet recovered from his last encounter down there. He ate what was left of your cum off his hands as you fixed your skirt.
“The moment we get to the beach, I’m gonna clean you up properly,” he promised, sucking his fingers clean.
You nodded and with a little shrug replied, “I think I’ll be ready for another ride by then.”

Jeon Jungkook x Reader
Summary: The pressures of being BTS’ golden boy start to get to Jungkook. Genre: fluff Notes: Part of the Long Term Couples series.  Read more here
Tumblr media
You were worried about Jungkook.
His short vacation had started three days ago, and originally, you had been excited to spend the time with him uninterrupted--you still were--but it appeared as though he wasn’t enjoying his time off as much as you had anticipated.
Jungkook was a perfectionist. You knew that fact all too well. After almost seven years of friendship, you had seen your fair share of tears because he felt something hadn’t gone 100 percent perfectly. This… felt like one of those times.
It had started on Friday, his last day of practice before starting his days off. You had gone with him to the office, having promised to help Sejin with planning some of the schedules for an upcoming music video shoot. That was when Yoongi popped into your office.
“He’s having a rough day,” Yoongi had confessed, his eyes straying from yours to the shelf of figurines gifted to you by Jimin. “Poor kid’s ready for a break, but I think you might end up having to drag him out of the studio today.” When you hummed and asked him what he meant, he had continued. “The new choreography is complicated, and he’s at the front of the formations for most of it.”
Ah. You had nodded in understanding and thanked Yoongi for taking the time from his break to give you the heads up. And true enough, you’d had to practically beg Jungkook to abandon the practice room that evening. The whole group had a week off, it wasn’t like he was going to miss anything. So he had gone home with you, grumpy and disappointed in himself for not learning more before the day had ended.
And then Saturday had built upon his frustrations. The two of you had made time a few weeks ago to go to Ikea to pick out new furniture, the plan being that you would put it together during his week’s vacation. So when he couldn’t make sense of the directions, and then struggled to put together the end tables you had bought to match your new sectional, you could feel his frustration growing.
The thing about frustration, you knew, is that it can be a vicious cycle. Frustration leads to mistakes which leads to more frustration. You knew how hard it could be to break out of, especially when you get caught up in it. It can be ever harder to watch someone else spiral.
Which was, you suspected, what was happening with Jungkook when he somehow managed to undercook the pasta twice and then overcook it into a gooey mess. Thankfully, you had managed to save dinner with a trick Jin had taught you by sauteeing the noodles in butter. But unfortunately, your poor boyfriend’s mood was ruined. Not even Kimchi making a fool of himself in an attempt to eat a noodle off the tile flooring cheered him up.
He disappeared into your bedroom before you were even done saving the noodles. You let him go to give him a chance to collect his thoughts. So you boxed up the pasta instead--you’d eat it eventually, you supposed--and put the steak he had started marinating in the fridge. It would make a good meal for the next day, or later that evening if Jungkook was up for it. You did the few dishes that had been dirtied and put them away, wiping your hands on your pants to dry them.
When you walked back the hall, you saw that he had closed the door. You frowned, your hand on the doorknob. Jungkook had never shut you out so physically before. Sighing, you tried to push it out of your mind. He was frustrated and hurting, and you doubted he meant anything by it.
You were quiet when you pushed your way into the room, just in case he had fallen asleep. The lights were out and the heavy curtains drawn closed so that the room was almost entirely dark. When your eyes adjusted better to the darkness, you saw him laying on the bed, his back to the door. He was hugging the Cooky plushie you kept on your bed, the pink bunny’s fur standing out against his black hoodie and the dark colors of your duvet.
Carefully, you climbed onto the bed and laid down behind him, wrapping your arm snugly around his waist and tucking his shoulder under your chin. You felt him tense for a moment and then relax with a deep sigh. He sniffled a little, and you pulled him closer, tangling your legs up with his.
The room was nearly silent as you laid there, the only sounds being the occasional sniffle or shaky breath. Your heart hurt. You knew that Jungkook had had a rough week, knew that he put a lot of pressure on himself both in his career and his daily life. But what you hadn’t realized was how much it had been affecting him recently. So you laid there and held him while he cried as quietly as he could.
You weren’t sure how much time passed like that--it could have been a few minutes, or it could have been an hour, with the curtains closed and your phone in the kitchen, you really had no concept of time. Eventually, though, you felt him relax and shift a little.
“What’s wrong, Kookie?” you ventured softly, squeezing him a little before relaxing your hold.
You weren’t offended when he stayed silent. If you were honest with yourself, you were kind of expecting it. What you weren’t expecting was for him to sigh deeply and roll onto his back. He had his face buried between Cooky’s ears, the big pink bunny managing to hide most of his expression so you couldn’t read him. You kept your arm loosely around his waist.
“Last week at practice, we were all struggling with the new dance,” Jungkook admitted quietly. “It’s our hardest yet, and it’s different from a lot of the stuff we’ve been doing recently. It’s a lot of hand choreography.” He demonstrated a bit, his hands creating different shapes in front of his chest to the tune of a silent song. “But Jin-hyung was having trouble with the one part and I know he was only kidding, but Namjoon-hyung said ‘well at least Jungkook’s having trouble, too.’” He sighed, squeezing the plushie tighter. “And I know he didn’t mean anything by it, but the way he said it was like…”
“Jungkook’s good at everything, but not this” you finished, frowning slightly. He nodded. “But Koo, you’re like… the best dancer I know.”
“You wouldn’t be saying that if you had seen me this week.” You hummed, your arm around his waist tightening ever so slightly. “And then with the tables and then dinner tonight-”
“Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean you’re bad at it, Kookie. Just like just because the instructions are in Swedish, it doesn’t mean you can’t build a table. It just means you have to learn Swedish.” He laughed a little at that, and you smiled. A small victory. You reached up and brushed his hair off his forehead. “You put so much pressure on yourself.”
“I can’t let them down.” You could barely understand him as he mumbled into Cooky’s head.
“Who is ‘they,’ love?” You kissed his shoulder. “The guys? Me? Army?” He shrugged noncommittally. “Seriously, Koo. Who?”
“I don’t know. Everyone. No one. Me, you, I don’t know!” He huffed out a sigh and flipped onto his side so that he was facing you. “I hate feeling like I always have to be the best at everything, like I have to be everyone’s Golden Boy all the time.”
For a moment, you were quiet, your eyes scanning his face. Jungkook looked tired. Even in the dim light, you could see his eyes were puffy from crying. You pulled him close, the arm that wasn’t slung over his waist sliding under his head. “I’m going to let you in on a secret, and I want you to know I mean it in the nicest way possible,” you whispered, your eyes meeting his. He nodded in acceptance. “People just want you to be happy, Jungkook. No one gives a shit if you’re the golden maknae. If they do, they’re probably upset about other stupid things, too.”
His arms wrapped around your waist tightly and he buried his face in your shoulder. “I just don’t want them to be disappointed in me.”
“No one would be disappointed if you cut yourself some slack,” you mumbled, carding a hand through his hair and massaging his scalp lightly. “As long as you’re doing your best, they’ll love whatever you can give them. Believe it or not, I think they like when you guys act like humans.” You felt his torso shake when he giggled. “I mean, you can’t let them know you’re all secretly filled with bean paste.”
“We aren’t Anpanman,” Jungkook said, pulling away slightly and trying to hide his laughter.
You hummed. “I don’t know…” Playfully, you bit his shoulder, and he exploded into a fit of giggles.
After a moment, he calmed down. When his eyes met yours again, he looked happy--more than that, he looked a little joyful. You smiled, pinching his cheek briefly. He grinned back, a wide, goofy smile that forced his eyes to crinkle shut.
“I love you, you know that?” He pressed his forehead to yours. “I don’t deserve you.”
“Well, I don’t think that’s true at all,” you said matter-of-factly. “You deserve the world, Jeon Jungkook. But more than that, you deserve a break. You’ve been going non-stop for months.” He nodded and mumbled a soft ‘I know.’ “This week, we rest. Next week, you get back to practice and you kick that song’s ass.”

BTS DRABBLE-Jeon Jungkook
You never expected to see him again-let alone date him-but here you are, five years after first meeting him, and now you’re pretty sure you’re in love with Jeon Jungkook. He’s always been sweet, and clever, and somewhat quiet, and he’s definitely always been this good looking, however, there’s something different about him now-and it’s not that he’s really into Tiktok challenges and speaks all the millennial slang fluently. No, it’s something you can’t quite put your finger on. Something that makes you more intrigued in Jeon Jungkook than ever before. The same something that seems to have him staring at you intently whenever he thinks you’re not looking, as if he’s just waiting to kiss you- or more accurately, to taste you.

Title: Theories of a Vampire
Tumblr media
“Do you want a sip of this? It’s really good.” You ask your boyfriend as you take another sip of your iced mocha latte, tilting your head in his direction, offering him a mischievous smile as you shove the drink toward him.
“Ah, no. I’m good.” Jungkook hurries to say, and his tongue slides out to wet his lips, as he glances away from you and stuffs his hands into his hoodie pocket. “I’m not thirsty.”
“Suit yourself.” You shrug and take another gulp of the drink, sliding your hand into his-icy fingers cold against his own which are long and warm in your grasp-as you continue to walk through the park.
It’s a pretty day. Warm, the air losing a bit of its chill, and you’re glad you had agreed to skip the last half of work to spend it with Jungkook.
Speaking of.
Glancing over at your boyfriend once more, his brow furrowed as if he’s lost in deep thought, you nudge his side, and when he finally focuses back on you, you raise a brow at him curiously. “You okay? What are you thinking so hard about?”
“Nothing.” He shrugs off your question and reaches up to scratch at the back of his neck with his free hand, a nervous tic he always did, and had done since you had first met him in your biology class freshman year of college.
You pull him to a stop, and shoot him a stern look, as you toss your now empty cup into a nearby trash can. “Jeon Jungkook. You’re worried about something. Tell me what.”
“I’m not worried per say-” Jungkook starts to protest, and at your fierce expression, backtracks slightly, letting out a defeated sigh as he glances up at the filtered sunlight streaming down on the two of you. “Okay, fine. It’s a big deal for the hyungs to invite you to eat with us, and I’m just nervous okay?”
You arch a brow at him, and reach out for his free hand, taking both in your own, as you pull him toward you, and lean up to press a quick kiss to the end of his nose. “Why? You think they won’t like me? Come on, Kookie, what’s not to like?” You tease gently, fingers stroking across the skin that covers the backs of his knuckles as you wait for his reply.
“Of course they’ll like you.” Jungkook blurts out, and he screws his eyes shut momentarily, wrinkling his nose in the adorable way he does when he’s agitated, the way that makes him look like a bunny. He opens his eyes once more, and looks down at you, before he sighs and admits quietly, “I’m not worried about you. I’m worried about me.”
His statement is odd, but you don’t question it. At least not out loud.
Because Jungkook has changed a bit since you first met him-changed a lot actually.
When the two of you had met that fateful day in biology class, becoming lab partners first, and then friends later, Jungkook had been introverted, but polite and sweet and someone you wanted to befriend. He had stuttered his words when he was nervous or excited and had had the biggest, brown, doe eyes you had ever seen.
And now-years later-after losing contact and reconnecting and discovering that there might be some sort of truth to the bullshit that is best friends to lovers tropes-Jungkook was not the same.
He was still sweet and quiet and thought before he spoke, and he still stuttered when he got excited, but he wasn’t the same boy you had met all those years ago.
No, something was different about Jeon Jungkook-he was heavier, a little more serious, and definitely more responsible than before-and you attributed most of those changed personality traits to simply maturity and growth.
However.
There was something about Jungkook-the new Jungkook-that had you constantly fighting the urge to be with him constantly-like a moth drawn to a flame. The way he looked at you when he thought you weren’t watching-those big, doe brown eyes large and dark with blown pupils and some sort of emotion that made your stomach warm pleasantly with desire-it was dangerous.
And you were helpless in the face of whatever it was. Whoever he was.
You pull yourself back to the present, only to find said subject of your deep thoughts watching you in the way you had just been imagining, and you have to look away, look at something else, before those endless eyes swallow you whole and you lose yourself completely.
You clear your throat, and tug at his hand, resuming your walk through the park. “Kookie, you live with them. They’re your roommates. I’m sure they won’t judge you if you act a little stupid around your girlfriend.”
“Wait. I act stupid around you?” Jungkook jogs to match your pace, and you hear the offense in his voice, as you tuck your emerging smile back behind the barrier of your lips and turn to face him, walking backwards, as you force down a giggle at the affronted look he gives you.
Damn. He’s so cute.
“Only sometimes.” You quip back, and as he opens his mouth to protest once more, you reach out and tap the end of his nose with your fingertip, effectively shutting him up, as you let out a laugh and continue walking, swinging your joined hands between you.
*******
The first thing you think as Jungkook pulls you up the sidewalk toward his apartment later that night is-Holy shit, what do these guys do for work?
Because this is not a typical, six guys living together out of college, run down, bad neighborhood housing unit.
No, this is a penthouse, in a gated community, and you’re fairly certain there’s the shimmer of a pool out back beneath the moonlight.
The second coherent thought you have-as Jungkook leads you inside, and you’re greeted by his six male roommates is-Holy shit, how are they all so hot?
And you’re pretty sure your mouth is gaping open as each of them greet you and introduce themselves in turn, before escorting you both to the dining room-an actual old timey dining room-where dinner waits.
And now, here you are, sitting at the long table with Jungkook on your right and one of the boys on your left-the one who seems to be just the right mix of extremely handsome and mischievous, Taehyung?-raising a bite of the opening course of soup to your lips.
Damn. It’s delicious.
Your eyes go wide, and the man across from you-the blonde one, tall and looking like a movie star, Seokjin?-offers you the hint of a smile, as he arches a brow in your direction and asks, “Enjoying the food, (Y/N)?”
“Immensely.” You say, and you can’t stop yourself from taking another bite.
Seokjin chuckles, the sound pleasant and soothing, and then bows his head slightly in your direction, and you can’t help but notice how small the spoon looks in his large fingers. “That’s a compliment then, so I should thank you.”
“You made this?” You blurt out before you can stop yourself, and a few of the other boys stop mid quiet conversations to glance over at you with amused expressions on their beautiful faces.
You blush, but luckily, Jungkook comes to your rescue, his hand finding yours beneath the table, as he leans over and says proudly, “Jin-hyung is one of the best cooks around. He can make anything taste great.”
“I believe that.” You nod, already hungrily diving back into the delicious bowl of soup before you without a second thought, missing the look of fond amusement that crosses Jungkook’s dark eyes as he watches you.
Also missing to note-perhaps more important-that your bowl of soup is the only one that seems to be lessening in contents.
*****
Later, you are sitting beside Jungkook on one of the couches in the den, legs crossed beneath you, as you sip some sweet, candied cocktail Seokjin had made you all, and as the alcohol warms your veins, and the men around you chatter and laugh quietly amongst themselves, you feel slightly more comfortable than you had at the beginning of the night.
“So.” You glance over at your boyfriend, as his arm comes to rest on the couch behind you, and he eyes you over the cocktail glass still held to your lips. “What do you think?”
“What do I think?” You repeat back, lowering the glass, and your voice, as you scoot into his side, and lean your head on his shoulder, surveying the room for a moment before answering. Dammit. They’re all still too handsome for your liking. You’d thought a few drinks would tone down their good looks just a little. “What do I think?” You parrot once more, and jab Jungkook in the side, as he yelps and winces beside you. “I think you should have warned me that all your roommates are just as smoking as you, Jeon Jungkook.”
You grin at him, ready to make a teasing jab about how they may be even more handsome than him, when the two of you are interrupted by Taehyung plopping down on the couch beside Jungkook, jostling you both.
“Come on, Kookie.” The older man practically whines, throwing his own arm around the younger boy’s shoulders, as he leans around his broad form and flashes you a charming smile. “You can’t hog all of (Y/N)’s time. You get to bask in her beauty all day every day. Let some of us have a turn.”
You bite back a grin, because you’ve met men like Kim Taehyung before. They are irresistibly charming, and smooth, and all together too incredibly hot to exist, yet you know they mean no harm with their slick words and damning good looks.
“Ask away, Hyung.” Jungkook sighs between the two of you, and leans his head back on the couch in a gesture of defeat as he motions to Taehyung. “I know you’re going to question her anyway. Get it over with.”
“Yah. That’s a good boy.” Taehyung slaps Jungkook’s shoulder, and the sound is solid, and you don’t miss the way Jungkook winces under the powerful looking show of brotherhood as Taehyung leans out once more to make eye contact with you. “So, (Y/N).”
“Yes, Taehyung?” You shoot back, not intimidated by his presence or confidence now that you’ve had a few drinks in your system.
Taehyung grins, and you note a slight hint of approval in his dark eyes, before he curbs his expression and steeples long fingers before plush lips. “How’d you and Kookie here meet?”
“College.” You say simply, shrugging, as you set your empty cocktail glass to the side, and glance at Jungkook, whose dark eyes are full of dread, as if he’s waiting for his hyung to ask something ridiculous and embarrass both of you. “Freshman year.”
“And you’re just now together?” Taehyung asks with shock in his deep tone, eyes widening slightly as he glances between the two of you, as if he can’t believe it took you so long to realize you were interested in each other.
“Well, yeah.” Jungkook shrugs now, a blush darkening his cheeks, and he bites his lip in that way you love, though right now, it’s less cute and more worried, as he chews his bottom lip between his teeth. “We lost touch for awhile.”
One of the other men-the smaller, petite one, who looks too pretty to be real, Jimin?-appears behind Taehyung and perches himself on the arm of the couch, listening in on your conversation with a cute, delicate tilt of his head that sends his dangling silver earrings tinkling in a fairylike way.
Taehyung snorts in amusement at Jungkook’s words. “So what you mean to say is you were too much of a dense idiot to notice her sooner.”
Jungkook straightens beside you and glares at the older man, and suddenly, you’re slightly worried he might deck him, but luckily, Jimin jumps into the conversation just in time.
“Tae.” He slaps the man’s shoulder, and Taehyung glances back at him, as Jimin’s features contort into a look of disapproval. “Don’t tease Kookie.”
“Fine.” Taehyung sighs, and you are surprised how easy it was for Jimin to put him in his place, considering Taehyung is probably three inches taller and at least ten pounds heavier than the fairyesque man sitting on the arm of the couch.
Jimin offers you a smile, and you don’t miss the way his eyes crease with the expression, as he says in a soft, lilting tone, “It’s nice to meet you, (Y/N). We’ve heard a lot.”
Jungkook blushes once more beside you, and you laugh at his obvious discomfort, reaching out for his hand which is still balled in his lap.
“What we haven’t heard though-” Taehyung leans forward again, once more on the attack, and offers the two of you a raise of his brow and the slight hint of smirk on his full lips. “Is if you guys have done it yet.”
“Taehyung.” Jimin sighs in exasperation and rolls his eyes.
“Hyung!” Jungkook almost shouts out, drawing the attention of the older men, conversing with each other about something in the other corner of the room. His face reddens, and he lowers his voice, hissing out, “You can’t ask stuff like that.”
“So that’s a no?” Taehyung quips, settling back into the couch, his legs crossed, as he regards you both with an air of amusement and aloofness. He holds your gaze, and you don’t back down, as his eyes move over your face, before he states suggestively, “Well, be careful when you do, (Y/N). Jungkookie’s really into biting.”
And then he has the audacity to raise his brows at you in a gloating smirk, and send you a wink from across the couch.
“HYUNG!” Jungkook is practically fire red now, and you are trying to hold back a laugh, knowing he’s legitimately embarrassed now under his roommate’s constant teasing.
However. There it is again-buried deep within the black of his pupils-the look of absolute guttural want that sometimes washes over Jungkook’s features when he thinks you’re not looking, flashing across his irises at his roommate’s words.
“Do you always ask all of your roommates girlfriends these types of questions?” You retort, suddenly desperate to ignore the flaming feeling Jungkook’s brief express had lit in your belly, raising a curious eyebrow in the now lounging Taehyung’s direction.
He flashes you another wink and a boxy smile. “Only the hot ones.”
“Taehyung.”
A deep voice sounds behind you, booming in the small space, and you jump slightly, whirling around to see Namjoon standing, arms crossed over his chest, shooting a serious look at the younger man.
“That’s enough.”
Taehyung pouts, but ducks his head to the older man and grumbles out, “Yes, hyung.”
You had been right about the aura you got from Namjoon from the beginning after all. He’s beautiful, and tall, and has the prettiest eyes you’ve ever seen, but his features are set in a serious, mature way, and now-seeing how Taehyung reacts to his commands-you know that he’s the one in charge, at least in this house.
“I hope they haven’t pestered you too much, (Y/N).” Namjoon motions toward Taehyung and Jimin, and offers you the hint of what you think is a smile, revealing a hollow dimple in his upper cheek, which catches you off guard.
“Not at all.” You stumble over your words in your hurry to answer him, because the man standing before you makes you feel small and obedient and it’s almost as if your brain is begging to do whatever will please him. “It was all in good fun.”
Namjoon nods, and then glances over your head, addressing your boyfriend. “Jungkook. It’s getting late. You should probably see (Y/N) home.”
Jungkook rises without argument. “Right.”
You are shocked, you have never seen Jungkook so quick to do what someone asks, and as you pull on your coat and say goodbye to each of the six men with who you have spent the evening, there is a part of you that wonders if roommates are not the only thing these men are to each other.
*******
It is several days later, sitting in your own lackluster apartment, that you find out the truth to your questions from the night spent with Jungkook and his six mysterious, all too good looking, roommates.
“(Y/N), come here for a sec!”
You hear Jungkook calling to you from down the hallway, and pushing your reading glasses atop your head, and setting aside the work you are plugging away at, you follow his voice to your bedroom, where he is laying on the bed, staring at his phone.
“What?” You ask, leaning against the door frame, letting yourself admire for a moment the swath of tan skin that peeks from beneath his hoodie, stretched across his muscular abdomen.
“Do this TikTok trend with me.” Jungkook replies without looking at you, swiping through something you can’t see on his phone.
“Kookie, no.” You complain, crossing the room to plop down on the bed beside him, as you glance at what he’s looking at. Some sort of new TikTok video with fang filters and gold eyes.”You know I don’t like being in your videos. I don’t want to.”
“Come on.” Jungkook looks at you then, wide doe eyes dark with pleading, lips pulled into his teeth in a pout expression that makes you weak at the knees. “Just this once. Please?”
You try to resist. You really do. But dammit, you can’t say no to those large eyes, rimmed with dark lashes, staring at you in such a way.
“Damn you, Jeon.” You grumble out, and Jungkook grins triumphantly, because at those words and the sullen expression on your face, he knows he has won.
You lie down flat on your back beside him on the small bed and squint your eyes as you glance up at his phone, your own face suddenly reflected back at you in garish light.
“What do we have to do?” You ask reluctantly, careful not to stare at your reflection too long, instead, choosing to glance at Jungkook’s face shown back to you on the camera, the way his dark, long hair shadows his eyes, the way his pink lips are pursed as he gets the angle just right.
“It’s really simple.” Jungkook shifts beside you, and his long finger taps the phone screen, placing the filter over the video, before he glances to the side and shoots you a grin-a grin so soft and excited that you can’t help but melt into the idea of the video just a little bit. “Vampires are really in right now. And basically, this filter shows you what you’d look like as one. See?”
He shifts the phone-still held above your heads-and you glance at the two of you, now with gleaming golden irises and long sharp fangs that poke past your overly red lips.
“I hate this.” You sigh out, and Jungkook chuckles from beside you, shifting the phone so that the filter falls away from you both for a moment, as he rises to his elbow beside you on the bed.
He smells good-like cologne and fresh, clean linens, and the shampoo he uses in the shower.
“C’mon, jagi. Just one video. For me.” Jungkook’s lips twitch, as if he wants to smile a the pout that comes across your features. He leans down and surprises you by kissing you briefly on the lips. “I promise if you do this with me, and be a good sport-” He adds, giving you a pointed look, as you sight once more. “I’ll make it worth it.”
“How?” You quip back, though your stomach is fluttering at how close he is, and the buzzing hasn’t left your lips from when his mouth covered yours for the briefest of moments. You swallow, and try to look anywhere but those eyes-eyes that make you want to fall in and never come back out. “You’ll buy me boba?”
“Yes.” Jungkook nods, agreeing too quickly, and reaches out to tap the end of your nose with his index finger, an odd look coming across his face. “Among other things.”
Before you can ask him what he means, and why his words have suddenly sent your heart racing, he is lying back down beside you, and holding up the phone once more. “Okay, let’s go.”
The video clicks to life, the filter turning you both into sad replicas of the vampires from Twilight, and Jungkook grins in his reflection on the screen, as he tilts his head toward you and asks, “What do you know about vampires, (Y/N)?”
“Yah.” You scoff and roll your eyes, but remembering his promise, force yourself to look into the camera and continue with the video. “You didn’t tell me this was a pop quiz, Jeon Jungkook.”
“It’s not.” Jungkook shrugs beside you, and you have to admit, his white teeth flashing behind pink lips look oddly enticing with the sharp points of the fangs pricking the plush skin. “It’s just for fun. Vampires. Go.”
You sigh, but do as he asks. “Fine. Vampires.” You hold up your hand for the camera to see, and begin ticking down fingers as you list in a slightly flat, bored tone. “Vampires are allergic to garlic.”
“Wrong.” Jungkook pipes up beside you, and you are startled, so much so, that you lose concentration and flick your eyes to him, forgetting about the video momentarily.
He raises a brow at you and motions with his head toward the phone, as if telling you silently to go on.
You try to refocus, stuttering slightly over your words. “Okay, um, vampires can’t enter a house uninvited.”
“That’s not true either.” Jungkook interjects, and you flash him a glare, warning him to stop interrupting you, and wondering how he knows all of this enough to argue with you.
“Fine.” You hiss out, and your eyes flash beneath the gold of the filter, as you turn back to the camera, starting to rapid fire off the rest of your list so your boyfriend can’t stop you to tell you how wrong you are again. “They can’t tolerate holy water, crosses burn them, sunlight hurts their skin, they can morph into bats, and they have no reflections.”
You catch your breath, confident that you’ve beat him.
“Inaccurate, false, entirely a myth, purely laughable-” Jungkook starts to list point blank from beside you, and you can feel the daggers you throw in his direction, as he pointedly ignores you and finishes up his smug commentary. “And last but not least, stupid as hell.”
He turns to you, and meets your gaze, dodging the daggers completely before he shoots you a shit eating grin.
“Fu-” You start to swear in frustration, and then you hear the video sound signal that the camera has been turned off.
“You can’t swear in my TikTok video, babe. What will my followers think?” Jungkook, who has come to a sitting position beside you, looks over at you with dramatically horrified eyes and a berating smirk on his face, a look that you’d like to wipe right off his lips.
“You asked me what I knew about vampires!” You protest hotly, coming to a cross legged position beside him, as you run a hand through your hair with jerky agitation. “And then you basically told me it was all bullshit!” You take in a deep breath, feeling yourself calm slightly. “Which is true, I guess, because vampires aren’t real, but still.”
“I mean-” Jungkook finishes up doing something with the video and then locks his phone, tossing it onto the nightstand, as he meets your gaze once more, with a suddenly thoughtful look crossing his features. “Technically, not all of it is bullshit.”
“Oh really?” You let out a humorless bark of laughter, and cross your arms over your chest as you glare at him. “Please. Tell me what’s true then.”
“Vampires can’t cross running water.” Suddenly, Jungkook looks sheepish, and though the expression is cute, and softens your ire toward him, you’re not sure why. “That’s true.”
“What?” You ask, slightly dumbfounded, staring at him. “That’s a thing?”
“Yeah?” Jungkook asks, a slight question, confusion crossing his pretty features once more at your look of surprise. “You didn’t know that?”
“I mean-” You shrug, and suddenly you’re on the verge of laughing. “No? I guess I never got around to studying vampire theory when we were in college.” You quirk an eyebrow at him, sitting silently across from you on the bed. “But apparently you did. How do you know all of this? Is my boyfriend secretly a closet nerd?”
“I-” Jungkook starts to say, and then his words falter to a stop, and as you watch, his eyes get that look again-dark and slightly wild and hungry-and his gaze falls down your face to your lips in a way that has your heart pounding against your rib cage like a trapped bird. “(Y/N), there’s something you need to know.”
“Okay-” You say, suddenly nervous, but unable to think or even wonder what he’s going to drop on you when he’s still staring at you as if he’s starving and you’re the last meal in the world.
“I-” He starts again, and your eyes follow the movement as his tongue darts out to wet his lips, leaving them red and shining, and your heart more breathless than ever. He reaches up to rake a hand through his dark, thick hair, and his movements are agitated, which doesn’t seem to fit the mood that fills the air between the two of you.
“Just don’t-” He tries again, and huffs out a frustrated sigh, meeting your gaze once more, and suddenly the tension between you is gone, his wide eyes back to normal. “Just don’t freak out, okay?”
You swallow, and your fingers start to fiddle with the blanket between the two of you, your heartbeat loud in your ears. “Okay.” You say, for the second time, in as many minutes.
You watch as Jungkook takes in a deep, steadying breath, and you prepare yourself for the words, ready to hear the words, ready to feel the cut.
He’s cheated on you. He’s breaking up with you. He’s found someone else. He’s in love with Taehyung, or Jimin, and hell, who would blame him?
“I’m a vampire.”
Your eyes, screwed shut and waiting for the bomb, come open so fast that you feel dizzy for a moment, and you’re pretty sure your jaw drops to the floor.
And then, you’re laughing, because you’re sure he’s joking.
“No, seriously, Kookie, funny joke, but what is it?” You reach out, shoving him playfully in the shoulder, relieved laughter still trickling from between your lips.
“I am serious.” Jungkook watches you laugh, confusion on his face at your reaction.
“Vampires aren’t real, babe.” You manage to straighten your face and turn to him once more, eyebrows arched curiously as you stare at him. “What are you talking about? You’re joking. Right?”
The silence grows between you after your question, and suddenly, your heart drops into your stomach.
“Wait-” You begin to say, inching away from him to the other side of the bed, because suddenly, you’re very worried that Jungkook isn’t right in the head. “You really think you’re a vampire?”
“I am a vampire.” Jungkook sighs out impatiently, reaching up to pinch his nose briefly between his thumb and forefinger, as he closes his eyes and takes in another deep breath. “(Y/N), that’s what I’m telling you. When we lost touch-”
“No.” You stand up, suddenly shaking your head, your heart still pounding, but for a different reason now. “This is crazy talk, Jungkook. You can’t be serious.”
“I am.” He stands and you square off across from each other in your small bedroom, the late afternoon sun shining onto the carpet and creating patterns in the space between you. Space that feels too far to overcome. “I’m not making this up, jagi. After college, I got into an accident and Namjoon found me and-”
“Namjoon?” You scoff out, not believing your ears, as you stare at your boyfriend incredulously. “Now you’re trying to tell me your roommates are in on this crazy bullshit too?”
“They’re not my roommates.” Jungkook replies seriously, eyes holding yours, pupils large and black. “They’re my coven. They took me in after saving my life by turning me.”
“Nope.” You pop the word past your lips and push past him toward the open door. “I’m out. You’re crazy, man.”
You hear Jungkook follow you down the hallway toward the bathroom.
“(Y/N), will you please just listen to me-”
“Get out of my apartment, Jungkook.” You shout back, reaching the safety of the bathroom,, already moving to slam the door shut on his face, but managing to get out through the shrinking crack, “Don’t come back until you’re ready to stop being insane.”
You wait to hear the door crash into the lock, the sound of the clicking doorknob sealing you into the room, the final thump of Jungkook’s feet as he walks away and leave.
But none of that happens.
Because Jungkook has blocked the door from closing with his hand, and holy shit, is he strong.
“Jungkook-” You warn, pushing against the door, as he manages to push himself inside the small bathroom with you. “Get. Out.”
“No.”
You look up at him in surprise-you’ve never heard him this serious, this firm before-and his eyes are dark, and his lips are set into a thin line, hand still holding open the partially closed door, wide shoulders filling the frame.
“What?” You gasp out, anger starting to bubble its way into your chest.
“I said no.” Jungkook repeats and takes a step toward you, backing you toward the bathtub that takes up one side of the room. “I need you to listen to me.”
“I am listening to you!” You shriek, almost hysterical, as you feel your back hit the dingy, thin fabric of the shower curtain you and Jungkook had bought together at a local secondhand store. “You’re not listening to yourself, Jungkook. Because all this talk is batshit crazy.” Your knees hit the edge of the hidden tub. “Vampires?” You stare hard at him, and he’s so close, you can smell the hint of his soap. “Accidents? Covens??”
“It’s true! All of it.” Jungkook blurts out, and his voice is frantic now, and pleading, as his eyes rove the space of the shower behind you, as if searching for a way to show you. “I’ll prove it to you!”
“How?” You exclaim sharply, tired of this game.
His doe eyes scan the room, and then he points to the shower, which you have almost entirely wedged yourself into with his forward advance, and his face brightens. “The shower.”
“What about it?” You ask, and the situation would be comical, the two of you breathing hard and jammed into your tiny bathroom, if it were any other situation. Anything but this. Still, a little bit of the humor sneaks into your next words as the start of a hysterical laugh. “Are you going to
Jungkook ignores you, reaching over your head for the handheld shower head, simultaneously using his other hand to turn on the hot water.
He holds the now running head out to you expectantly, and states quietly, firmly, as if his words should mean something to you, “Vampires can’t cross running water.”
You scoff, arms still held at your sides, and when you don’t move, your boyfriend closes the distance between you, and shoves the shower head into your hands.
“What are you-” You start to protest, already feeling the water soaking your socks and puddling on the cheap tile of the bathroom floor, but before you can finish your sentence, Jungkook is stepping toward you once more.
He reaches out a hand, and you note his fingers are trembling, which seems odd, but before you can think about it too much, his hand flattens against an invisible barrier, fingers splayed now for you to see, as he meets your gaze once more.
“That doesn’t prove anything, you could be faking.” You snap out, although suddenly, your heart has sped up in your chest, and your own hand is shaking, making the water from the shower trail crazy patterns on the floor at your feet.
You shove your own hand out toward Jungkook-a little too hard-and he winces slightly as you jab him in the face.
“Sorry.” You apologize, pulling your hand back, and study him for a moment. “Do it again.”
“Look.” Jungkook sighs, and stepping toward you once more, holds out his hand, pressing it up against the invisible glass pane, before he shifts his whole body up against the barrier. “I’m not faking, (Y/N).”
And suddenly, your breath is catching in your throat, because even through the steamy bathroom, you can see. You can see that the way his clothes fold, and the way his fingers splay, the way his hair flattens against his forehead, as if pushed against a window, is not fake.
And that means-
“Holy shit.” You breathe out, lowering the shower wand, as you stare at your boyfriend, water puddled around your feet, mouth open in shock. “You’re a vampire.”
He offers you the hint of a crooked, humorless smile. “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you.”
*******
Jungkok sighs from beside you, and turns his head to look at you, for what feels like the fifteenth time in as many minutes. “Will you stop staring at me?”
“Sorry.” You shrug, propping yourself up on your elbow, as you reach out to poke first his cheek, and then his lips. “It’s just so fascinating. Like. You’re a whole ass vampire. My boyfriend. The vampire.”
“Stop saying it like that.” Jungkook groans, throwing a hand over his eyes as you giggle in amusement. “Stop saying it like it’s my superhero name or something.”
“Fine.” You grin, reaching out to push his hand away from his eyes, before you let your fingers fall to his mouth, flipping back his lip slightly, so the start of his white teeth show, as sudden childish excitement fills your tone. “Can I see your fangs?”
“Really?” Jungkook asks with exasperation, propping himself up beside you, as he shoots you a look of slight frustration.
“Yeah!” You nod, bouncing beside him slightly on the bed. “That’s like, the biggest thing to being a vampire right? I wanna see them!”
“I mean, not the biggest thing-”Jungkook starts to grumble beneath his breath, but you’re on top of him, straddling him so your knees hug his hips, and your hands sink into the pillow beneath his head. He looks up at you, eyes wide, as if startled, and when he speaks, his voice is slightly choked. “What are you doing?”
“Do you wanna bite me, Kook?” You ask, mostly teasing, staring down at him with as mischievous look as you can muster. You don’t allow yourself to focus on how his firm body feels beneath your own. Or the fact that you’re both crammed into the space of your tiny bed, so close that you can see the flecks of gold in his dark eyes.
“No!” He blurts out, almost panicked, and you feel something like disappointment drop into your chest at his reaction, and you make a move to release him from beneath you.
But then, his fingers are encircling your wrist, stopping you from pulling away, and you’re caught off guard, as he reaches up with his free hand to caress the side of your face.
“I mean-” Jungkook speaks again, his voice barely above a murmur, and you’re pretty sure you’re having a harder time hearing him over the sound of your blood suddenly rushing in your ears. He bites his lip, teeth stark against the soft pink flesh. “I didn’t mean that. That was a lie.”
You try to force a lightness back into yoru voice, a lightness you don’t feel, with the air practically crackling with electricity between the two of you. “You’re telling me that was bullshit, Jeon?”
He nods, and you see the way his throat bobs as he swallows. “Yeah, that was bullshit.”
“Why?” You breathe out, every last inch of teasing leaving your body as that look-the look that makes you feel weak and dizzy and hot all at once-floods fully into the caramel irises of Jungkook’s eyes, turning them dark and dangerous and entirely too tempting.
“Because-” He matches your tone, words barely audible above the pounding of your heart, as his hungry eyes fall once more to your lips, and then down your throat. “I want nothing more than to taste you, (Y/N).” His chest, steady beneath your body, heaves as if he’s trying to catch his breath. “I’ve wanted nothing more since I saw you again-that day in the park. The way you smell, the way your pulse flutters beneath my touch, the way your heartbeat sounds-too loud in my ears-it all drives me insane, and I swear, I’d kill for a chance to bite you. Just once. But I-”
Jungkook shakes his head as his words trail off, and his pupils constrict a bit, enough to show a ring of color around his eyes once more.
“But what?” You ask, and your mouth feels dry, because you’re scared of what he’s going to say. You try lightness again, because you’re both struggling. “And don’t give me some Twilight bullshit, Kook, because I swear to God I’ll kill you. And then break up with you.”
He huffs out a strained laugh, mouth tight, and worried wrinkles around his eyes, and his fingers loosen slightly on your wrist, as he reaches up once more to brush some stray hairs back from your face. “Nah, like I said, most cliche vampire myths aren’t true, and definitely not the ones perpetuated by Twilight.” He sighs, and sucks his bottom lip in between his teeth. “I can control myself, I won’t hurt you, I won’t turn into an animal. One taste won’t give me an insatiable thirst for human blood. It’s nothing like that.”
“So what is it?” You ask, suddenly curious, trying to focus through the feeling of his fingers now dancing patterns on the bare skin of your side beneath your shirt.
“I-” His mouth drops open, allowing the word to start, but not finish, and he rolls his eyes, suddenly self deprecating. “It’s stupid actually.”
You stare at him, and when you don’t say anything, waiting for him to continue, he lets out another long sigh and then reaches up to rub at the back of his neck, avoiding your gaze.
“It’s just that-” He swallows again, and you find your gaze drawn to his lips, the way they move to form his words, the way they would fit perfectly around a pair of long white fangs, the way they would feel against your skin, and you’re so distracted, that you almost miss what he says next. “You’re my first.”
“What?” You ask, pure confusion lacing your tone, as you force yourself to meet his gaze once more, a gaze now awash in worry and embarrassment. “Your first what?”
“Oh god, don’t make me say it, jagi, please.” Jungkook groans out, reaching up to swipe at his eyes with his hand, as a blush paints the tan skin of his cheeks. “You’re my first......bite.”
“Really?” The word of astonishment pops out before you can stop it, and the pink on your boyfriend’s cheeks darkens beneath the cover of his hand. You clear your throat, composing yourself, and reaching out to remove his hand, try a different angle. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound so surprised. It’s just-” You think hard about your words for a moment before continuing. “Haven’t you been hungry?”
“Can we not talk about details?” Jungkook pleads, putting a palm over your mouth, as if he physically doesn’t want you to ask questions. “The hyungs kept me fed. I’m fine.”
“Okay.” You drawl out from behind his hand, and he must feel the smile starting against his skin, because he pulls away from you, but you stop him by pinning him beneath your body, as you hold his gaze. “Fine. So let’s not talk then.”
Your eyes follow the bob of Jungkook’s throat as he takes in the full meaning of your words, and behind the slight uncertainty that flashes across his eyes, you see something else.
The desire.
You lean down, and your lips are almost brushing when you speak again, and the heat in Jungkook’s eyes, alighting the gold specks, is causing coils of anticipation in your core.
“Do you want to bite me, Kook?” You ask once more, completely serious this time.
His tongue licks across his lips, and the warmth of his breath washes across your face, as his eyes fall to your mouth, barely centimetres from his own.
He nods. “Yes.”
“So stop thinking-” You let your fingers run up the skin beneath his shirt, and he tenses beneath you as your lips find his between each of your words. “And just do what comes naturally.”
You run your lips across the corner of his mouth, and arch your body into his, angling the juncture of your throat beneath your jaw so that it brushes across his lips and the tip of his nose.
Jungkook lets a groan slip from between his parted lips, and his fingers find purchase at your hips, breath hot on your skin, teeth grazing your throat as he murmurs against you, “Shit, your heartbeat is so loud.” A hint of teasing seeps into his next words, though he’s slightly breathless. “Is that for me?”
“I mean-” You pant out, having to choke back a moan, your words stuttering to a stop for a slight moment, as Jungkook sucks open mouthed kisses down the column of your throat. “If you want it.”
“I do.” Jungkook’s voice is low now, a growl, and you start slightly as you feel a sharp prick against the flesh of your throat, at the juncture of your jawline.
“Are those-” You start to ask, and move as if to pull away, the sudden heat of the moment suddenly taking a backseat to your burning curiosity.
Jungkook groans, and not in pleasure this time, as he stops you from moving away from him and when he speaks, his voice is full of exasperation, lips still brushing the skin of your neck, and though you can’t see his expressions, you can practically imagine him rolling his eyes. “Please don’t tell me you’re tying to see them. Not right now.”
You hide a grin. “Okay. Sorry.”
“Now.” Jungkook’s fingers curl around your chin, and he makes you meet his gaze, irises almost completely swallowed up in the black of his pupils, as he tilts your head slightly to the side, fingers stroking over the fluttering pulse point beneath your jaw. “I believe you said this was for me?”
You feel breathless, and lightheaded, and the way he’s looking at you is making it hard for you to think again and all you manage to get out is a dumb sounding, half affirmation in response, “Mmmhmm.”
He smirks at you, and his fingers play along the crease of your collarbone, tracing the outline of the hollow at the base of your throat. “Remember, this is my first time, so be patient with me, yeah?”
“This is my first time.” You quip back, though you don’t sound fierce, you sound breathless. “So be gentle.”
“You know what they say.” Jungkook grins now, and you finally, finally get a look at the coveted fangs as they flash blindingly white in his mouth, and dammit all, if they don’t make him even more sexy. “Practice makes perfect.”
Damn Jeon Jungkook. Damn Vampire Jeon Jungkook
*****
“Hey, it’s Kookie!”
Taehyung crows the greeting as soon as the two of you walk through the door of the penthouse, and flinging his arms around the two of you, envelopes you both in a bear hug.
“Glad you guys could make it. Life has been so boring since you moved out.” Taehyung continues on, dragging the two of you behind him toward the dining room as he talks incessantly over his shoulder, as if he’s been starved for conversation. “You guys down for dinner and drinks and games?”
You glance at Jungkook, and he shrugs in response. “Yeah, hyung, sounds fund We don’t have plans.”
“Wait.”
Taehyung stops dead in the entrance to the dining room and whirls to face the two of you, eyes narrowed, as he looks you both over suspiciously. “something’s different here.”
Jungkook instantly stiffens beside you, and you feel his fingers curl nervously against your palm. “I don’t know what you’re talking about hyung-”
“WAIT.” Taehyung leaps toward you, making you step back nervously, as his fingers find your chin and wrench your head to the side. “Aha! I knew it!”
You know exactly what he’s looking at.
The almost healed puncture wounds that dot the side of your throat.
Courtesy of one Jeon Jungkook.
“Hyung.” Jungkook whines, as if begging his older friend to remain quiet in the matter, a blush already darkening his cheek at what’s coming.
“I KNEW YOU TWO DID IT.” Taehyung pats your cheek a little bit too hard in his excitement, before crushing Jungkook to him with a few hearty slaps on the back. “Congrats!”
Jungkook rolls his eyes at you over his friend’s shoulder, and you stifle a laugh, because no matter how much Taehyung embarrasses him, you know he means well.
Taehyung releases Jungkook and turns back to you. “Told you he was into biting.” He winks at you slyly, a smirk lighting up his handsome features.
“Hyung.” Jungkook’s voice has risen an octave, and his cheeks are on fire.
“You know-” Taehyung motions over his shoulder at Jimin, who has now joined you in the doorway, come to see what the hold up is. “We’re into biting too.” He shoots you a completely wicked grin. “Let us know if you ever wanna join us.”
“Taehyung. That’s enough.”
Namjoon’s voice thunders from the dining room beyond, and Taehyung, barely phased, rolls his eyes at you, before he turns and slings an arm around Jimin’s shoulders to enter the dining room.
But not before giving you one last conspiratorial wink.
“You’re not really considering that, are you?” Jungkook hisses beneath his breath as you start to enter the dining room behind the other men.
You shrug, hiding your smile. “Who knows?” At the look of panic that crosses his face, you laugh, reaching out to tap the end of his nose with your finger, before leaning in to kiss him. “Just kidding. But I am into biting too, you know.” You shoot him a suggestive grin.
Jungkook rolls his eyes and pinches the back of your hand where it rests in his, making you laugh once more as you take your seats at the table.
“Just promise me two things-you’ll only ever be into biting with me." He points to himself, a slight smile starting to lift the corners of his lips. “Because another vampire myth that I forgot to mention that isn’t bullshit is that we’re insanely jealous.” He ticks another finger at you, and now he’s grinning in that way you love, with his nose scrunched and his eyes turning into half moons. “And, number two, you’ll never use the shower head as a weapon when I’ve done something to upset you.”
You squeeze his hand where it rests under the table. “Promise.”

BTS Reaction || You Surprise Him On Tour With Child [Request]
Tumblr media
Seokjin:
You were used to the long periods of time away from Seokjin after the years of dating him when he first debuted and continuing when you married but your son wasn't used to it just yet since he was only four years old, so you decided it would be nice for the both of them if you flew out to see Jin.
"Are we going to surprise daddy?" You giggled as you sat in the back of a black SUV going to the muster venue, you'd been in correspondence with Jungkook who thought the idea was brilliant and wanted to help surprise the oldest member with a nice surprise instead of all the pranks he'd been getting him with lately. Your toddler was staring out of the window as you headed to the venue and you smiled at him, he was the spitting image of Jin when he was a baby which meant he was going to grow up to be one handsome young man just like his father.
"Jungkook we're ten minutes away, where's Jin?" You asked through the phone as you looked out of the window with your son who was starting to get a little agitated from being on the flight for so long and now sat in a car he just wanted to go and see his dad.
"He's getting ready to practise, come to the back entrance and I'll meet you there." He hung up the phone and you went back to trying to keep your son entertained.
"We're going to surprise dad, what are you going to do?" You questioned turning his face to look up at you, he was smiling at you and laughing at practically nothing.
(X)
You'd been watching Jin practise for the last two minutes, the original plan was to let your son run out onto the stage and scream at him but the stage managers didn't seem to be in the best of moods today and you didn't want to make it any worse for them.
"I want dad!" Your son screamed in your lap folding his arms over his chest and sticking out his bottom lip in a pout.
"I know baby, he's almost done." You whispered but he began wriggling around in your lap deciding he'd had enough and wanted to go and see his dad, you couldn't reach him as he sprinted across the stage.
"DAD!" He screamed grabbing Jin's attention as soon as his eyes landed on his son he dropped the microphone onto the stage sending a loud noise through the stadium but he didn't care, he dropped to his knees and let his son run into his arms holding him as tightly as possible. You slowly came out from behind the stage and watched them interact, you could have sworn Jin was crying but you had no time to check because as soon as you were close enough he pulled you into the tight embrace and wasn't planning on letting go any time soon.
"I missed you guys so much." He whispered to you kissing your cheek and then kissing your son on the face.
"Uncle Kookie!" That was all it took for your son to take off into a sprint to meet his uncles,
"He missed you too." You whispered to him laying your head on his shoulder and smiling, it felt as though you were back to dating when you were younger. Surprising him on tour and just sitting on the stage together,
"What about you? Did you miss me?" You faked thinking about it and then shook your head,
"Nah, it's been bliss." You joked looking up at him and kissing his cheek,
"I always miss you stupid." You giggled making him smile, he would never get tired of spending time with you and his son.
Tumblr media
Yoongi:
Yoongi had been on tour for three months and your daughter was starting to get annoyed at not being able to see her dad every day, she was only five and she still wasn't used to the periods when he dad wasn't there to tuck her into bed every night. Of course, he was there over a call to tell her goodnight and give her a bedtime story but it wasn't quite the same as him being there to hold her, and you knew it was hard on her for him to be there. It was hard for you too but you'd gotten used to not spending every moment with Yoong over the years and you adored that he was living out his dream life.
"Hey Yoongi, no she's asleep right now...Yeah, I'll call you tomorrow when she wakes up." You said to Yoongi over the phone, it was the biggest lie you'd ever had to tell him before but you couldn't tell him where you really were. Your daughter was sitting in the seat beside you as you rode to the concert venue, you'd decided to fly her out to see her dad and you knew how much Yoongi was missing you both as well so it was time they saw each other.
(X)
The concert from behind the stage was just as amazing as it was from the front but your daughter hadn't seen much of it, she passed out in your lap shortly after it started. She was tired from the flight but you knew she would wake right up as soon as Yoongi found you both sitting backstage. Namjoon had spotted you from the stage but didn't tell Yoongi because he could tell you wanted it to be a surprise,
"You guys did great!" You yelled as they walked in your direction,
"Thanks, baby, she's still sleeping?" Yoongi asked as though this was basic conversation somehow forgetting that he was on tour and you weren't actually supposed to be sitting there.
"Wait!" He yelled turning back around to look at you and your daughter who was still sound asleep on your lap.
"Hi baby." You giggled at him shaking your daughters should lightly to try and wake her up but she was a heavy sleeper, you were convinced that not even an earthquake would wake her up.
"When did you? How did you?" He wasn't finishing his sentences which was something he did a lot when he was excited around you, you finally sat your daughter up and she looked around groggily but when he eyes landed on her dad she was wide awake.
"DAD!" She screamed jumping away from you and into his arms clinging onto him as if it was the last time she was ever going to see him,
"How long are you here for?" He questioned as she continued to squeeze him tightly,
"The rest of the week, I figured she'd needed to see you...You know cause she missed you a lot and I didn't." You teased standing up and watching as he cradled your daughter in his arms carrying her in the direction of the changing rooms for you to go and talk calmly together as a family.
Tumblr media
Hoseok:
The whole thing was Yoongi's idea, he'd called you telling you how much Hoseok had missed you guys and arranged for you to fly out to see them instantly, you missed Hoseok as well but you knew how much the dream meant to him so you tried not to express it too much that you missed him. It would be the first time you'd be surprising him on tour since you gave birth to your son 7 years ago,  the only time you'd gone to see him on tour he knew about so it would be a nice change to just fly out randomly.
"Hey! Slow down!" You giggled as your son ran through the venue, you were there before the boys and he wanted to go out and dance on the stage.
"It's okay, here." Music filled the venue from the stage manager and you smiled at him, he was playing Mic Drop and your son took centre stage copying his dad's moves. Dancing was in his blood and you loved that he enjoyed learning all the dances, it made you feel young again.
"Come on mum!" He yelled out for you to join him he knew you knew all the dances as well, you kicked off the heels you were wearing and rushed out to join him on the stage, taking Taehyung's position in the group and dancing along to the music.
(X)
When the boys walked into the venue and heard the music they expected to see stage managers walking around on the stage checking things but as they walked closer they saw it was you and your son and started filming. Hoseok still wasn't in the building yet and Yoongi wanted to get his reaction on camera,
"What's going-" Once Hoseok saw you and his son dancing along to Idol he rushed out onto the stage and picked up his kid spinning him around and then turning to look at you.
"Hi baby!" You giggled as you sat on the floor out of breath, you were never able to keep up with any of the dance, they all made you out of breath and want to sleep for a week. You had no idea how the boys managed it so much every night,
"When did you get here?" He asked sitting down next to you and watching as your son continued dancing around the stage like the natural performer that he was, you giggled at him and then turned your attention to Hoseok.
"An hour ago, Yoongi called me and told me how much you missed us." You teased moving closer to Hoseok and kissing him earning a fake sick noise from your son,
"I did," He whispered kissing you back and then getting up from the floor,
"You've got one more dance left in you, come on." You groaned getting up from the floor and then waited for the music to start, you knew every dance since you were dating Hoseok and had a lot of free time.
Tumblr media
Namjoon:
"We're playing hide and seek remember to shh, don't come out until dad comes to check the wardrobe." You whispered to your six-year-old daughter as she climbed into the hotel wardrobe, you'd flown out to surprise Namjoon for his birthday and now you were waiting in the hotel room for him to come back from practising.
"He's coming, quick." You slid the door shut and then went to hide in the bathroom, you knew how Namjoon worked. He'd go straight to the wardrobe for clothes and then to the bathroom so it was perfect hiding places for you both.  You heard him humming softly as he entered his room, shutting the door and then going over to the wardrobe. Namjoon was exhausted from the practice and the late-night before so when he reached in for clothes he hadn't even noticed your daughter standing there with a giant smile on her face. She followed him quietly into the bathroom watching as he opened the shower curtain to see you standing there, he almost jumped backwards until he heard his daughter yelling 'surprise' at him. He clutched his chest as you and your daughter started laughing at him,
"You scared me!" He yelled kneeling down on the floor to hug his daughter, he hadn't seen you guys in two months. You'd been busy with work and your daughter had school but now was the perfect time to go and see him.
"We figured you could use a wakeup call, Jin said you were practically falling asleep in practice." You giggled at him and he threw his arms around you bringing you both into a small group hug, he never wanted to let you both go again for as long as possible.
"I missed you." He sighed kissing your cheek and then kissing his daughters head,
"We missed you too daddy, mum kept whining about how much she hated being away from you so I made the flights." You looked at your daughter with a knowing look and she stared at the floor.
"She's picked up the lying habit from school, tell him the truth." She grumbled something under her breath and then turned to look up at Namjoon,
"She organised the flights...but she was whining about how much she missed you." You poked her red cheeks,
"So were you." You teased and she poked your cheeks back making Namjoon chuckle at how you were acting more like sisters rather than mother and daughter but he loved it.
Tumblr media
Jimin:
Your flight was late and now you'd missed the entire concert which was one of the main reasons you were going to surprise Jimin on tour, your son really wanted to see his dad performing live but now you'd missed it he seemed to be upset.
"We can watch another one tomorrow." You said as you walked through the venue, you were following a stage manager who'd come to meet you at the door to let you in.
"I want to see it now." He pouted looking just like Jimin when he did, you sighed and continued following the stage manager through to the changing rooms.
"Y/n?" You looked up to see Taehyung standing in the doorway with a strawberry in his mouth,
"Uncle Tae!" You son screamed bouncing over to Taehyung and wrapping his arms around him,
"Where's-" You stopped yourself when you saw Jimin passed out asleep on the sofa,
"He had a late night last night," Hoseok told you as you watched your husband peacefully sleeping on the sofa but not for long.
"Get him," Taehyung ordered your son as if he was a dog that attacked the command, your son jumped away from Taehyung and practically launched himself to sit on his dad's chest staring down at him and waiting for him to wake up. When he realised he wasn't he began to poke his cheeks repeatedly until he finally started stirring awake,
"WAKE UP!" Your son screamed at him making Jimin almost throw him off his chest but he stared up at his son and smiled.
"Hey! When did you get so big?" He groaned sitting up and putting your son on his lap instead of his chest, the rest of the boys left the room to give you your privacy and you went to sit with them both.
"When did you get so little?" Your son asked jokingly and Jimin turned to glare at you,
"You taught him to call me small?" You nodded proudly and Jimin started whispering in his son's ear,
"Mummy, when did you get so pretty?" Your son laughed and you blushed at Jimin shaking your head softly.
"Are you using your son to flirt with me?"
"Are you using our son to bully me?" He struck back making you laugh softly and kiss him on the lips, you'd missed moments like this with him and you knew you couldn't stay with him long but the time you had you were going to cherish.
Tumblr media
Taehyung:
It was Taehyung's birthday and although it had just been Christmas he was back on the road again and missing you, you knew how much he missed you when it came to his birthday so you decided to fly out to him to go and see him.
"Mum, come on or we'll miss him." Your son groaned pulling you through the hotel and up to Taehyung's room, Jimin had given you the room number he was at and told you he would leave the spare room card somewhere for you to find. Tae was asleep in his bed so it was just a case of walking in and screaming at him to wake up but you were trying to make sure you had everything with you. You had presents to give him and you wanted it to be nice.
(X)
The door beeping is what woke Taehyung up first he expected to see Namjoon or Jimin standing there with a cake but as soon as he saw your son running over to him he jumped out of the bed and wrapped his arms around him,
"I missed you!" He groaned putting him back down onto the floor and looking back up to see you standing there with a smile on your face.
"We missed you too!" Your son began dancing around and pulling at the suitcase you'd brought along with you,
"PRESENTS!" He screamed unzipping it and handing his dad all the presents that were inside of the bag, the final one being something he made in class before Christmas break but wanted to save for his birthday.
"Why don't you go and find uncle Namjoon and tell him we're here." You whispered and your son knew what that meant,
"She wants to give you a secret present." He grumbled before hugging his dad goodbye and leaving the room,
"Secret present?" Taehyung asked wiggling his eyebrows at you and smirking,
"Yeah, close your eyes baby," You whispered to him, he did as you said and you giggled kissing him softly on the lips.
"Hold out your hands." He did as he was told again and you took out the small velvet box you'd had in your handbag and put it in his hands.
"Okay open." He opened his eyes to see the box with a blue and pink bow on the top,
"Open it." You giggled getting a little too excited even though you already knew what was inside, he flipped the lid to reveal a pregnancy test sitting there.
"You're-"
"Yep."
"How long?"
"Three months...I didn't know until after Christmas and you'd already gone." You giggled looking at the positive test and smiling at him, he was just as happy as the day he found out you were pregnant the first time.
"YES!" He screamed pulling you into a passionate kiss and falling back onto the bed with you.

Jungkook:
You were in the hotel bathroom having a shower while your daughter was watching a movie on the TV, you'd decided to fly out and surprise Jungkook on tour since it was the summer holidays and you'd both been missing him a lot since he was gone.
"Mum! Phone!" She screamed looking over at the your phone that was ringing on the coffee table, you turned off the water and wrapped a towel around your body.
"Who is it?"
"Daddy!" You smiled and poked your head out of the door,
"Answer but don't-" Before you could tell her not to tell him you were there she was already telling him the room number and what your plane ride was like. You groaned at her quickly changing into a shirt and shorts and waiting for Jungkook to come to the hotel room,
"Hi! Surprise?" You giggled as you opened the door, he was dressed in his PJ's since he'd only just woken up when he called your number,
"You're here?!" He screamed running over to his daughter, he scooped her up into his arms and chuckled at you both.
"It was supposed to be a surprise, we were going to go and join you for breakfast but I guess little madam couldn't wait that long." You laughed walking over to them and kissing your daughter on the bed, she giggled at you both and then kissed her dad.
"I missed him too much,"
"Ten more minutes and it would have been the best surprise." You told her but JUngkook was shaking his head at you.
"It was the bed surprise anyway," He complimented, he kissed you once again and then put your daughter down on the sofa asking about how the flight was and how her time in school was going. He wanted to spend as much time with you both as he could.

Types of love - Jin Drabble ft Jungkook {fluff + angst} Housemate au
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You hear a deep sigh beside you as you take out the laundry from the washing machine.
“Noona what are you doing?” Jungkook sounds exasperated with you and it’s only 7 in the morning.
“Jin’s got a meeting at 12, I told him I’d get his clothes ready for him,” you grin brightly at your youngest housemate.
“Why can’t Hyung do it?” He doesn’t return the smile.
“He wanted a lie in.”
There’s that sigh again but you ignore it, it made you feel a little shame that you tried to push down.
“Okay new question,” you could see him pinch the bridge of his nose from the coroner of your eye as you put the clothes in the dryer. “Why are you doing it?”
You shrug, “he’s been busy and I just though-”
“Noona,” cold judgy eyes came from the maknae.
“Kookie leave it, I’m doing it because I want to,” your sunny outlook on today was suddenly dampened by the annoying brat following you.
“He’s taking advantage of you and your feelin-”
“Kook I said leave it!”
You slam the door as you walk out.
——————————————————————————
It was no secret to anyone that you may have feelings for the oldest of your housemates, even though you’ve never ever said it out loud. Your actions spoke for you. You always went the extra mile due to your unrequited affection, but you didn’t mind, you were always taught to love without limits and you swore you did what you did without expecting anything in return. He was just so handsome and funny, you were happy just to be his friend, even if your heart hoped to be something more, you couldn’t help it. Maybe he did sometimes take a little advantage of you? But truly you were to blame for that and you took full responsibility.
You and Jin ignored the way Jungkook was staring daggers at him as you brought him his tea with some cakes to the table when he got back from a long day of work.
“How was work Jin?” You asked.
“Perks of being son of the CEO, everyone offered to do my work for me,” cue the windshield wiper laughter you loved to hear. “The new girl on my floor slipped me her number, it was a pretty good day.”
Your heart sank and with it your smile, you forced it to stay on as he rambled about his day and the pretty new girl, if they both could see your discomfort they didn’t say anything.
Jin wasn’t oblivious he just didn’t care, Jungkook on the other hand now watched your reactions like a hawk.
“It may not be the most professional thing to do as her potential new boss but I may have agreed to drinks Friday night,” he chortles, his spiel coming to an end.
“You’re not taking over the business any time soon Hyung, hold your horses,” Jungkook rolled his eyes.
“Wait Friday?” You suddenly speak after staying quiet. “Jin we’re all supposed to go for dinner Friday, we booked the table and everything.”
The three of you reserved dinner at the same place every year on the anniversary of you all moving in, it was an important night for you, you three were always so busy or tired so nights out were rare. Plus Jin was always so busy, he was either at work or at the gym or sleeping or out, the housemate anniversary was the only real time you got to spend with him.
“Y/n I think you missed the part of the story where I told you she was hot,” he argues with what he thinks is sound logic.
“Jin it’s the housemate anniversary, it’s sacred are you seriously ditching us for some random girl?”
“It’s not a big deal Y/n, hoes before bros you know?” he laughs at his own stupid joke and for the first time it irritates you a little.
“Not your bro Jin,” you grit your teeth.
“You might as well be Y/n, you’re not exactly the girliest girl ever,” he responds.
“Hyung,” Jungkook warns, finally butting in after watching your discussion like a tennis match.
You sit back in shock, did he seriously bro zone you? What the hell!
“Noona is pretty Hyung, stop being mean,” young Kookie comes to your defence when you fail to speak.
“Oh no I’m not saying she’s not, she’s just not my type,” why the hell was he talking about you like you weren’t there, he wasn’t even looking at you anymore. You sit deflated with you head low, biting back tears. Jin didn’t notice, when did he ever, Jungkook did.
“I think that’s enough.”
Jungkook was right, that was enough, you stood up to leave without uttering another word to them both. Once he heard your door close, Jungkook unleashed hell.
“What the hell hyung! Are you trying to upset her on purpose?” He seethed in a hush tone. “You know how she feels about you what the hell was that?”
“God Kookie don’t start on me it’s been a long day, it’s fun to pick on her a little, what’s the big deal?”
“The big deal is you hurt her feelings,” Jungkook says a little louder still trying to control the rage he felt at the man sitting in nonchalance while he had his fists formed and jaws clenched. Jin shrugged his shoulders and Jungkook wondered what happened to his good friend, he was never like this before.
“Hyung you take advantage on her all the time, she literally does everything for you because she cares about you without expecting anything in return and you treat her like shit,” he explains, “it has to stop.”
“I don’t know why you’re lecturing me you brat,” Jin rolls his eyes, “I’m older than you by 5 years, learn some respect.”
Jungkook walked away before he laid his fist into his friend and lived to regret it, he didn’t realise you heard every word.
——————————————————————————
“Is he seriously not coming?”
It was stupid to hope that Jin would make an appearance while you both waited for him at home dressed and ready. He still hadn’t come from work... he finished two hours ago. You weren’t upset because you liked Jin, you were upset because you thought at least you meant something as a friend. Jin and Jungkook became what you thought were best friends for you, regardless of stupid feelings, you just thought they felt the same.
Jungkook stood next to your sitting form, moving his weight from foot to foot.
“I don’t think he is Noona, he said he wasn’t going to,” Jungkook sighed. “Why are we still waiting, we’re going to miss our reservation.”
He hated seeing you sad, if he could punch some sense into Jin he would, hell he’d punch him anyway for making you look so downcast. He sighs deeply again, throwing his head back in exasperation.
He kneels down in front of you, taking you hands into his as you look up slightly to meet his gaze. He has stars in his eyes, you think, why hadn’t you noticed before?
“Noona should we just cancel?” He asks delicately. “We can go get our pjs and order an Indian and have a stupid movie night.”
He was really trying to make things better you could feel it, your blatant emotions for his friend must’ve made him feel so uncomfortable but he’s still trying for you. You offer him a small smile.
“Sounds great Kookie,” you say sincerely.
——————————————————————————
“Oh my god are you kidding me!” Jungkook says half seriously yelling at you. “Iron man is way better than Batman.”
You laugh out so loud, you can’t remember the last time you felt like this.
“I didn’t mean it Koo,” you say between breaths of laughter. “You’re just so cute!”
He fights the red feeling blooming in his face as he pokes the inside of cheek with his tongue in faux annoyance. Jungkook was loving your impromptu movie night, it was the first time in forever you didn’t mention he who must not be named.
“That’s just cruel, you don’t joke about iron man, it’s blasphemy,” his words make you laugh harder and it makes him break out in a big grin, one that wipes away as you both hear the keys turn.
Jin was not expecting you both curled up on the sofa with take away containers on the coffee table when he walked home from a rather boring date. Your laughter dies in your throat before he even walked into the room, eyes boring into the tv. Jungkook keeps his arm around you in place, he felt warm and comfortable he didn’t want this feeling to end.
“Good date Hyung?” He doesn’t know why he asked when he could feel you stiffen in his hold.
“Yeah,” he says a little dazed at the sight in front of him. “did you guys not go out?”
“Nah we stayed in and had a iron man marathon,” the bunny teeth were out as he grinned.
“I lost Rock Paper Scissors,” you offered meekly. Why did you feel like you were cheating on Jin? That was ridiculous, you were not dating Jin and you were just friends with Jungkook, right? “Wanna join?”
He shakes his head, “no you guys look like you’re having fun, plus I’m a bit tired so I’m going to head to bed.”
You normally offer him some tea and cake at this point, but you stay silent, Jin tries not to read into why it makes his chest feel heavy with disappointment and something else he can’t quite figure out.
——————————————————————————
You were laughing loudly again, it was irritating the broad shouldered man to no end, he didn’t mind the sound honestly, he just hated the reason why you were in this state. Jungkook was making faces at you while you both cooked and honestly Jin couldn’t understand why you found it so funny.
“You look like a meme!” You chortle.
“Is dinner ready yet?” Jin interrupts.
“Patience Hyung,” Jungkook doesn’t break eye contact with you, still smiling brightly. He’s so pretty when he smiles, you felt like you hadn’t seen it for a while before your movie night.
“Are you two dating?” Jin slams his laptop shut in his outbreak, he didn’t mean to ask but it came out anyway. You nearly drop the plate you’re holding but Jungkook catches it before you let it go. Now your both holding a plate while staring at each other wide eyed, while Jin gawks at you both with a quiet anger simmering away inside of him.
Why are you both blushing furiously? Jungkook is the first to break away as he stares his Hyung down with his own anger.
“So what if we are?” He asks. “I don’t think it’s any of your business either way.”
“Jungkook...” you frown, you were not dating, why didn’t he just say no... why didn’t you just say no?
Jin scoffs, he couldn’t really say anything to that but it pissed him off.
“I didn’t realise you were into toy boys Y/n,” he jeers.
Now you were frowning at Jin as Jungkook started to shake with rage.
“I could treat her a lot better than you ever could,” he seethes back.
“You’re still a kid Jungkookie, Y/n always treats you like one,” did he seriously not hear the irony in his words?
“That’s enough!” It’s you that breaks up the inane argument. “Jungkook is not a kid Jin, just because he’s young and nice doesn’t make him any less of a man than you.”
They’re both shocked at your outburst.
“He’s been a wonderful friend to me for years, he’s always had my back, always looked out for me even when I was being a stupid idiot pining after you!”
The youngest of the trio can feel his chest full with warmth at your words and the way your glaring at the oldest with such disdain he never thought he’d see. Jin stays quiet at your onslaught starting to feel shame as he reflected on how he’s treated you through the years. He used to really adore you too, really appreciated everything you did for him but when everyone at work started treating him the same it became a normalcy, something expected instead of a gift.
“I’d be so lucky if Kookie dated me, although he’d be out of his mind to after how pathetic I’ve been, he’s the best guy I know, don’t speak to him like that.”
Jungkook can’t help the small smile fighting to turn the corners up on his mouth, Jin doesn’t miss the way he looks at you, full of love. You were an idiot not to see it, it had been there for a while.
“Noona, the pastas burning...”
You turn back to the stove feeling the heat in your face from your rant, you didn’t expect it from yourself to be honest. Jungkook stood beside you, mixing the sauce in the other pan while the room sat in silence.
He couldn’t help but steal glances at you, couldn’t help the hope in his heart build, maybe you felt the same way about him too. Maybe this is what redamancy feels like.
You try to sneak a peak at the man standing next to you, surprised to see his eyes already on you, you feel your heart stop for a second before it restarted anew.
You return his smile, you can’t help it.

Jungkook x reader
Part1 / ...
A/N: Kookie needs more stories added to his masterlist section, so I am bringing you guys this. Sorry for any mistakes made, hope you like it.
Word count:  2,906
Warnings: Swearing.
                  -----------------------------------------------------------------
“Y/N! Get up it’s time for school!” your mom’s voice echoed in the house so loudly ,that even the people waiting for you outside heard her.
“I am up!” you mirrored her energy, while running around your room “Ok ok, books, pens, ummm AH! Homework!” you were wearing only one sock on your left leg and over all looked like a mess “I swear I won’t stay up today till 3am, it really fucks me up hard!”
“Y/N!” your mom yelled out again
“I KNOW! FUCK!”
“WHAT DID YOU SAY!”
“NOTHING!” throwing the bag on your back, you took a quick glance in the mirror. Fixing up the things that weren’t in order ,you looked presentable enough for school. This wasn’t a fashion show after all.
Your footsteps filled up the house when you said goodbye to your mom and dashed outside. Leaning onto your knees you took deep and sharp breaths, trying to calm down your fight or flight reaction to oversleeping.
“Look who it is.” moving up, your eyes focused onto that familiar beanie, trying to keep in check all those dark and wild curls.
“Whip that look off your face Kook.” Yoongi murmured under his nose “We had to drag your ass out of bed. You ain’t any better than her.” Jungkook reached and pulled you up by your hand
“Don’t look down with this pretty face kitten.” he was smug, knowing oh so well that he was good at flirting.
“Calm yourself hot stuff. Cats also have claws.” you pulled back with a playful wink his way, which pulled out a scoff out of him. With a jump in your step you grabbed Yoongi’s arm and started pulling everyone to school.
A quick stop at your friend Mina’s house and you were on your way again to the 4 wall jail.
“I see Yoongi is lookin disgusted.” she needed only one glance at him to know what happened “Let me guess, Y/N and Jungkook are being flirty earlier than usual.” Mina sighed proceeding to ask the obvious question “Yall seem to like each other, why not just, um i don’t know. Date!”
“Mina, you are misunderstanding.” Jungkook patted her shoulder
“Me and Jungkook are just friends. He is just shitty and stuck up, thinking he is so good at flirting. I am just showing him that those skills are mad trash and won’t work on me.” you turned to look at him “Even if he chocked me!”
“Damn, you don’t have to say your kinks out loud like that sweetie.” Jungkook ran his hand gently through your hair, leaving the sensation of a light tugging  “Leave that for when we are alone.”
“EW! I can’t with you two!” Jimin rustled his hair, shaking his head aggressively
“ Ok ok, let’s change the subject.”Namjoon stop the conversation from drifting into a huge mess “Can we stop for a sec? I need to go buy pens.” there was a small store next to the school. Size aside, they were always stocked up with good materials since all the students visited frequently.
While Namjoon was buying writing supplies, Jin pulled you to the side with an alibi of fix your hair.
“Ok what is up with you and Kook lately?” he kept pulling out small clips and all kinds of things, from last night’s 3am glow up attempt
“What do you mean?”
“Lately all this flirting has been a bit...”
“Too direct?” you tried to help Jin out
“Personal.” his voice was serious, the word cutting almost through the air around you “ Are we going to act like Jungkook didn’t bring kinks in a public convo?”
“He is just being the same dork as always.” you laughed out, crossing your arms in front of your chest
“I am not worried about what people are going to think of him for saying stuff like that out loud, he can deal with that himself. I am worried about miss tough bruh girl.” Jin’s lips pressed together as he looked at you. The confidence and macho behavior disappeared from your body “Are you really ok?” he turned around to make sure no one was around you two
“...honestly?” you asked him, receiving a nod “I am dyingggg Jin!”you folded like a piece of paper as the words came out “I know he is just flirting with me to prove his point, but it’s so hard to act unfazed by it. “
“Of course it is. You are head over heels for him.” Jin bluntly spoke when you hushed him, checking around yourself again
“Look. It was fine till a week ago. He became...touchy.”
“Touchy how?” you were trying to avoid Jin’s gaze, while blushing “He um...he has been brushing his hand over me and then saying it was by mistake. He bumped into me a few days ago and got so close he almost kissed me!” your voice was a forced whisper ,as your hyper nature pushed it out from your throat like a whistle
“He what!?” Jin gasped upon hearing all that “Shy Kook did that?” you nodded “He is a flirt, agreed. But he NEVER did anything remotely close to this. Are we 100% sure he doesn’t like you?”
“I am positive Jin. He is doing this to prove his point that any girl falls for him if he gets serious about it. Jungkook is trying to prove me wrong.”
“That is not like him t-” Namjoon’s voice pulled everyone’s attention to himself, exiting the store with a bunch of pens in hand.
“You have like a billion of them.”  said Jin
“Yeah, but these are comfortable for exams.” Namjoon was placing them in his school bag, when Hoseok gasped
“Wait, what do you mean for exams?”
“We have 4 exams today.” noticing the confused faces around, Joon facepalmed himself “Yall didn’t really think they were letting us leave 3h earlier just like that, right?” the group synchronized nod was so shocking, that you could hear even Namjoon’s brain facepalm itself “I don’t know what you guys will do, just don’t fail at least.”
“Oh, I knew about the exams.” you rose your hand between the bunch of panicking creatures “Surprisingly my mom found out and made me study my ass off. I am confidant this time.” you took a few steps and stood next to Namjoon “For once i am on team Joon and honestly, I can’t lie, it feels amazing.”
“So what you are saying is that you are actually prepared for all 4 exams!?” Taehyung had to do a double check just in case he heard wrong
“Yup.”
“Better sit next to me before someone asks to cheat off you.”Namjoon said making you giggle. Your head swung in the opposite direction as you felt a strong hand grab the back of your head. Not even in a moment’s notice you came inches from Jungkook. His eyes, sharp and dark, eyeing up and down slowly.
“So this pretty head of yours got the answers?” you couldn’t move, frozen from the shock “Mind if I use some of that knowledge?”
“I- what?” you stuttered in panic.
“Jungkook you better stop acting like a kid and study!” Jin tried to be a hero and pull you by the hand, out of his grasp. Yet Kookie with an aggressive look directed towards his hyung, grabbed his wrist and curved his arm up.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” the air was tense, you could hear the silence no matter how weird that sounded. His free hand proceeded to pull you flush against himself, holding you by your waist. His hot touch felt even under the layers of clothes “I can use whatever is mine. Isn’t that right kitty cat?”
“Jungkook don’t be a brat!” Hoseok tried to calm the atmosphere, but was met with the same energy as Jin, when he grabbed your hand. A loud smack pushed him away as Jungkook lifted you of the ground like it was nothing , throwing your body over his shoulder. His serious face changed to a childish smile when he yelled out “MINE!” and dashed towards the school building, only letting you go once you were inside and behind a wall. He was peeking to see if the others were catching up, excited from the whole situation.
His breath was deep and the giggling was coming out of his mouth none stop.
“Did you see the look on their face?” Jungkook turned to you, but you were still frozen from what just happened “Hey, you good?” he lowered himself to your eye level but you averted your gaze, grabbed your bag and dashed to your classroom.
“Y/N...?”
With all the power in your legs you got to your now safe space. The desk felt secure for the first time. As you were catching your breath, Mina caught up to you.
“What the fuck was that!” she threw her bag on the chair next to you, bashing her palms into the wooden board of your table “It was new!”
“Drop it Mina.” you didn’t want to look at her right now, but she was a persistent one
“Nah nah, I am not doing this again. You HAVE to tell me, this isn’t formal.”
“At this point we both need an explanation.” Jin seemed to have calmed down a bit and took a third chair, cornering you with Mina “Come on, you can trust us.”
A moment later you sighed deeply and looked them in the eyes. It was time to get things off your chest. “Kook is going overboard.”
“Yeah, we all saw that.”Mina drew a circle parallel to the floor, in the air “ He has been openly umm nasty.”
“Not to mention weirdly touchy.” Jin nodded as he spoke up “ He might find it fun trying to prove his stupid point, but in the end of the day you like him. It’s effecting you in more than one way.”
“ Jin is right. Acting tough like it doesn’t effect you can’t and won’t last long. What will you do when he gets a gf and stops acting like this towards you?”
“Yes. You like it, of course but that would just crash you princess. I think you should try to move on or at least find someone else to crush over. Sounds hard but...yeah.”
“I know I know.” you grunted placing your face into your hands “It’s a mess, I shouldn’t have challenged him at all. This wouldn’t have happened at all.”
You were frustrated, it felt like a huge mess you made and now had to clean up on your own with only a rag and water. For a moment you forgot about the issue because of the exams. Namjoon and you were confident but not the rest of the gang, luckily Jungkook had one class with you. You were able to avoid him easily with all the running around and revising.
After all the stress was done, you decided to have some lunch with Jin and Mina after everyone else went home for the week. There was a moment of silence.
“Someone gonna say something?” Mina looked at you two stuffing your faces, avoiding the matter at hand “I thought we staid to talk this out.”
“You are right.” Jin sighed placing his box on top of his backpack “ The more we try to ignore it the worse it will get. I know you are frustrated Y/N but we need to do something.”
“Maybe I should really pull back and try to move on like you two said.” the floor was locking your attention in one place.
“Or you don’t except defeat and step on his toes for once in your life.” for a three party conversation you weren’t expecting a fourth person. For a second your heart dropped till you located Taehyung
“Tae!” your body rose from the desk “Please don’t t-” he placed his hand over your mouth. The index finger of his free hand stood in front of his lips as he winked your way.  Jumping onto your desk he sat down, crossing his legs widely with his hands now in his pockets
“Relaxxx~, I am not a snitch, plus this smells to me like I can mess a bit with that little brat. His high horse has been fucking annoying all of us, well maybe expect Joon.”
“Your plan is so bad!” Jin rolled his eyes
“Well from what I saw so far all she did was bark back. Come on, don’t you guys see?” he flicked your forehead and leaned back after your ‘ouch’ “ She is all bark no bite. Jungkook sees her as a toy or a little puppy, nothing more. He knows he will break her down at some point.” Tae focused onto you again “Y/N you really need to grab that boy by the hair and show him that you aren’t one to be messed with.”
“On a serious note, I am on Taehyung’s side. Backing up is what he wants you to do. “ Mina clapped her hands excited about the whole plan
“How do I even do that?” you began to panic inside again
“First of all that attitude. Confidence is key.” Jin grabbed your shoulder “ You dress timid, I know this will sound like one of those early 2000s movies with the makeovers.”
“But it is.” you didn’t even need to look up, you just knew. That soft yet manly voice  “What?” Jimin leaned onto Taehyung’s shoulder and smirked at you “You didn’t think I wouldn’t sniff this whole thing up, did you?”
“Guess Jimin is up for the part.”Tae fist bumped him “I got the plan already in my head.” he pulled out his phone making a small group chat with all of you in it
“We got this man!” Jimin and Tae were apparently too into the whole situation, while you were almost dripping in cold sweat
“Ok ok.”your hands rose up “Let’s say I agree to all this. What do you want me to do?”
“Man the fuck up!” Jimin hit the table in front of you “ Pull that kid’s leash for once, he thinks he is all strong and stuff. I am so done with him and his disgusting flirting skills lately.I can’t even go to the gym without thinking about him...ugh” a shiver went through his body
“Try to be dominat for once princess.” Jin was being gentle in attempts to calm you down
 * knock knock *
The wood sounds creeped into your ears and your heart dropped, when you saw him. Jungkook in all his cocky glory. You panicked and grabbed your bag, trying to get past him in the most natural way possible, but his arm hit the door frame and you were staring at his veiny hand.
“Wow, where do you think you are going?” he sounded more serious than usual  “You have been ignoring me all day and then I catch all you guys having a fun looking meeting without me.”
“I am not ignoring you, I just don’t feel that well.” you mumbled under your nose just hoping he would turn back into his old self for a moment and let you go. The day was long, filled with all kinds of emotions you weren’t ready for. You didn’t want him to be one of them. The feelings inside you were starting to bubble, there was no more space to keep them.
“Aw.” Jungkook lifted your chin up with his finger “ I can be your medicine if you want something sweet on your tongue, baby girl.”
“Jungkook!” Jimin threw the chair back, about to start something when Taehyung grabbed his shirt stopping him “...wait...”
“Wasup hyung, why so aggressive ?” the boy leaned onto the door looking high and mighty. Your hand slowly creeped up onto Jungkook’s shoulder. His attention focused onto you once more, when your leg kicked his foot to the side. With a strong grip you pushed onto him, making the boy kneel in front of you. This was the first time he was the one looking up.
With your free hand you swung your hair back, revealing a pissed off gaze that send a chill down Jungkook’s back, in a way he had never experienced before.
“Listen here you little shit.” it sounded like a low growl of frustration “I said I don’t feel good, but you insist on being all macho manly and annoying me. Next time.” you squatted down slowly making him follow you as you came down to eye level “ When I say move, you will be a good little boy and what?”
“...move.” the room was shook by the fact he followed your lead calmly . You eyed his lips making him feel something beep inside his chest, as your index and middle finger gently caressed them
“Louder!” you snapped him out of the trans as you got up suddenly.
“I will move!” he almost yelled out
“Good.” with the bag swung over your shoulder you walked out of the room with a strong step. The moment you were outside the school, you got back to your senses and the situation sunk in. The dash you did towards your house was Olympic level. You had no idea what happened in the classroom, but you didn’t even want to think about it after what you just did.
