hello! sorry for taking 2 billion years to reply; i've been going through it.

onto some fic recs:

ace of spades by jemkay - magic, fantasy, politics - this is my favourite kookmin fic and it's a wip but i've read it 3 times now and if it's never finished, i'd be perfectly okay with that because it is such a fantastic fic that i will be grateful i got to read even in its incomplete glory. jimin has the ability to control death, sort of? and he is able to come back over and over even after he dies. there's also magic and magic users have a special connection with an animal - jimin's is a cute little bunny - and the worldbuilding is SO well thought out!!!! there's just so much to dig into with this fic.

you never walk alone by jemkay - fantasy, omegaverse, tw for abuse and violence - this will 100% make you cry but it's so incredibly good. this is definitely more character driven and jeongguk focused but still very worth it. jemkay's worldbuilding is incredible. she always weaves everything together in her fics and every fic of hers i get to read is a little gift. also, her ability to write abuse in a realistic way and also add in how abuse would impact werewolves is so so so brilliant and clever?? she's just incredibly talented and i love her.

firewatch by ashlyn17 - a murder mystery/thriller - i really enjoyed this and ashlyn17 is probably one of the best action/adventure writers in kookmin fandom, i think. she writes really engaging plot driven fic and jimin ends up with amnesia in this fic so you're trying to figure out what's happening with him while forest ranger jeongguk is dealing with a stalker who is after jimin and is threatening violence against jeongguk and the other rangers.

sunflower by rkiveink - this features autistic!jeongguk and i really enjoyed how rkiveink depicted autism. it's well done and thoughtful but i'm not autistic so my opinion is kinda irrelevant at the end of the day. i also just enjoyed how jimin grows more confident in this by seeing that confidence in jeongguk! also jeongguk is just so...cool? i really love how unapologetically himself he is and i love all the LARPing stuff -3-

Hmm. So Jungkook creates a chat room or something in the new game adds 30 fans. Some of their user names were 'Jungkook's wife', 'Jimin's finger', 'kookmin are dating' lol.

Anyway, Jungkook didn't have a problem. He still added them in despite those user names.

But his solo accounts have a problem. They made the 'kookmin is dating' user change their user name. Haha. So funny to me. Apparently it's insulting to Jungkook, although Jungkook didn't seem to be bothered by it and added them.

Anon, didn't you know that hardcore solos always know best? Poor Jungkookie is a bit clueless, so he needs his mommies/self-proclaimed girlfriends to take care of him. They think he's not very bright and someone has to protect the boy.

I didn't know solos made that user change the name, all I know was that it changed after she was added in the group. The fact that this became a problem for like 24h is once again, insane. Some people have too much free time on their hands. It's just a game and Jungkook was having fun. If he was being cheeky about letting that user in, so what? He didn't mind. End of story. But no, people need to make a fuss out of every single thing.

In your previous ask, people noticed that JK added kookminaredating in the game 1. Bec of what the name implies, and 2. iirc all those he accepted were already level 100 and above except for that account. That user had to immediately change the username to Jaksal similar to his/her handle on Twitter (I'm not quite sure if it was bec one of JK's fanclub reached out so as to avoid unnecessary backlash bec the owner of the account is a korean kookminer, but don't quote me on this).

If I can add a possible coincidence as well, a few weeks after this happened, Jimin recommended the song Okinawa by 92914 that was released around five or more years ago which was used by the same user in a jikook video clip posted within the same timeline.

No one knows if these are intentional or coincidental except for Jimin and JK, but I just wanted to share the background and why a lot of jkkrs went crazy with that username/account.

I do vaguely recall seeing something translated on Twitter where the user was explaining the name change, but I don't think I quite understood what was happening at the time and why changing their name was such a big deal.
