one of my favourite moments from aftg are those scenes from tkm when the monsters (minus Aaron) spend their time just living life cozily, kevin and neil watching matches, all them playing video games with nicky turn by turn, getting ice creams together and just vibing together hehe it’s one of those soft moments you usually look over but rereading it (as i do so many times lol) makes you see these little things more clearly now i’ll stop otherwise this will become a big essay because i can go on and on about this series forever argh

You know how we were talking about AFTG and genres and how it's ultimately a contemporary piece with subgenres?

Yall the sheer amount of analysis all of us have done on these books. The countless character studies and theme analysis and comparisons.

I think that that's a big part of the reason AFTG is so lasting and leaves its claws in all of us. We do English homework and write thesis essays about it. It's so layered and we can't help but obsess and break it down.

hi nora @korakos, i love your books and i also love how you sneak in symbolism through numbers (ref: kevin's bday being 22 + 22 ravens + 22 cities/names and andreil jersey numbers adding up to 13)

so i was just wondering, what other numbers have you snuck in that we haven't noticed (like in the ec you mentioned thea's number was 14 "for reasons")

So, this is what seth thinks of people who are richer and more famous than him:

And this is Seth 3 years prior to TFC. from one of Nora's Tumblr posts.

I really love this little detail because it shows how much seth grew to realise the people more privileged than him did not mean that they were better than him over the past 3 years.

And i especially love this because in Noras post she said that Allison is a freshman that year- I would like to think that over those 3 years between the post and TFC, Allison was a big part of the reason that Seth grew to acknowledge that (not entirely, the other part was Kevin Being Kevin)

Seth died horribly and deserved better, but he did not die without knowing he was worth something.

Seeing Nora active on Tumblr scares me, but not for the reasons you might think.

See, I love reading Nora's posts. I especially love all of the teasers and new Canon details.

My problem is that one of my favorite authors has already found my Tumblr and reblogged my posts in the past... my heart wouldn't be able to handle another author finding my posts. I'd actually spontaneously combust.

@korakos idk if you’ve answered this already but when did you first come up with the idea of writing a jean spinoff? Was it during writing aftg (I know jean didn’t survive for a lot of the first drafts) or was it directly after or way after I need to know
