Hancom Typing Game
This site is in Korean but has the option for English in the top right corner. The site offers options for learning the proper typing form and going through the keys, typing out certain words, and typing out sentences as well. In the virtual keyboard it will tell you where the key is and show proper hand position as well, and just above will measure your speed.
I think this site works out well because there are different options to pick from; so if you’re a beginner just starting out you can focus on just learning the keys, then move on to words, and then full sentences. There’s opportunity for every skill level and benefits even people just wanting to improve their typing speed or form.
There’s also a leaderboard for people that like a bit of competition. There’s individual ones for each option, words, sentences, and stories so you can use that to fuel your drive to master typing!

Side Dishes in Korea
Why do we get served so many each meal?
1. Background Information
Tumblr media
One of the most appealing things about eating out in Korea is the unlimited free refill on the side dishes, known as banchan.
This practice is deeply rooted in Korean history and character as a nation
2. Kimchi
Tumblr media
There are hundreds of different types of kimchi, but the signature cabbage banchan is offered at pretty much every restaurant.
Koreans have for generations been storing vegetables in pots to ferment so that they will have food available for the winter.
3. Common Banchans
Tumblr media
Other than kimchi, there are bean sprouts, cucumber vegetables, and sesame leaves pickled in soy sauce.
Some of the more luxurious Korean restaurant sever egg rolls, tteokbooki, and ganjang gejang.
4. Banchans At Restaurant
Tumblr media
Eating at a Korean restaurant is always an exercise in how to maneuver all the dishes to actually fit on the table.
It is not uncommon to receive 3 or more different banchan dishes alongside the main course that you order.
5. Homemade Banchans
Tumblr media
During a kimchi-preparation event called kimjang, a large amout of kimchi is laid out for all members of the family work on.
This practice is less common these days, but parents still like to prepare kimchi and distribute it to their children as a show of affection.
6. Why Are Banchan Unlimited?
Tumblr media
One reason is that white rice was much more expensive than kimchi and banchan during difficult times in the Korean economy.
It was too expensive for restaurants to give refills of rice, but in order to make sure you were full, they offered you a second helping of banchan.
7. How Is Banchan Served?
Tumblr media
In order to reduce operating costs, some restaurants have suggested limiting or removing the unlimited banchan options, which many Korean people weren’t happy about.
To meet in the middle, many Korean restaurants these days have adopted a self-service system in which you can eat as much as you like, but you have to approach the food station and fill your own bowls.

For Korean learners, especially those studying for the TOPIK exam, I really recommend this channel! It goes over mostly reading questions from past TOPIK papers, nicely presenting the content one sentence at a time at a really nice pace so that there's no need for pausing even. Clean and simple!!
Mostly for intermediate to advanced, I suppose, but maybe helpful regardless :)

Plz tell me about korean social apps used in Korea which make me always read and listen to Korean language
I don't know exactly what you mean by that exactly, but I'm assuming you mean social media that is used in Korea / is mostly or all in Korean - forcing you to read, listen, and use to it all the time.
Technically, any social media can become that. You would have to follow a lot of Korean speakers/Korean learners and maybe even change the language to Korean on that specific social media platform or even your phone language - but you don't have to do that.
Korean Youtube Channel
A good Idea you could do is to make a new account for youtube and subscribe to only Korean speakers and It can become your Korean account. Not just korean teachers, but any things that you usually like to watch. For example, vloggers, gamers, cooking videos, fitness influencers, people who do fashion content, kids educational content, etc. But a less extreme version would be just subscribing to a good amount of Korean youtubers on your regular account.
Social Media Koreans Use
I'm sorry that I don't actually know a ton of specifically Korean sns, but I looked up a few
> NaverCafe
> KakaoTalk
> Line
> Cyworld
> Band
> Basically anything else like Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Etc.
TWITCH & V-LIVE App
V-live is a live-streaming app where you can watch livestreams of your favorite Kpop groups. Usually they speak only in Korean, but I'm pretty sure there are subtitles added on to past streams anyways. You can practice listening and reading.
Twitch is a live-streaming platform as well, that doesn't only have Koreans but these days Korean gamers are very popular. You can find a person that you like to watch and practice your listening skills.
NAVER (blogs, webtoons..) Apps
Basically anything naver. But Naver is kind of like the "Google" of Korea. You can find a ton of blogs in Korean over there about a wide variety of topics. Naver webtoons is a good place to find cool webtoons to practice reading and you can learn lots of vocab, phrases, and slang.
HILOKAL App
This is different from the social media mentioned above, but there are native Koreans ans Korean teachers here. Basically, there are chatrooms that you can go into and practice speaking with native Koreans and other learners. You can also do that for other languages.
LANGUAGE EXCHANGE APPS
There are some good language exchange apps out there that you can use to practice speaking and texting with native speakers. Some will work better for some people than others.
> Tandem
> HelloTalk
> Meeff

I highly recommend putting your phone on korean! I know a lot of new words and i read faster thanks to it!
Even if you're a beginner, You just have to know how to read the alphabet! (I put mine on korean when I was on level 2 of tmmik so believe me)
Since we use our phones daily we know where everything is despite on what language it's written (we memorized the place where the post button is, etc) so even if you don't know that many words yet you'll have no problem unless you read a long paragraph or something! And if you're a little more advanced than beginner beginner then you'll have almost no problem!
Plus you read a lot of words in Korean per day whether you like it or not

The thing is, the Western superpowers NEED the people divided. Division leads war, displacement, economic collapse, forced assimilation— repercussions that generate income for the overarching hegemony. Division is their backbone. This is why any act of unity in history has been retroactively distorted to brainwash us into thinking there is no alternative to Capitalism. The United States attempted to physically divide Vietnam in the US attempted- intervention on Vietnam, and successfully divided Korea shortly after the nation’s liberation from brutal Japanese occupation.
You can read about the ongoing Korean War here, and see a timeline here.
North Korea has been systematically demonised for being one of the few successful modern Socialist states; for the crime of liberation. They are a demonstration of what anti-Capitalism looks like, and yet we are barred from witnessing that with our own eyes. The Western propaganda machine works at maximum capacity to ensure the masses are deluded into believing North Korea is an evil, oppressive regime, a corrupt government that abuses and oppresses its people— whilst homelessness is at an all time high in the United States and Western nations, with an extortionate cost of living, inaccessible health care and rampant medical negligence, Not to mention, police brutality, Neo-Nazism (like, Western-funded Ukraine’s historic complicity with Nazism) anti-Trans laws that lead to murders of Trans people, and the Western Israeli Regime’s support in multiple genocides across the globe (Mayan, Tamil, Rwanda and of course, Palestine). Not to mention, North Korea has had unwavering support for Palestine
The West has been lying to us for years about China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Palestine, Iran and so many more nations to mask their deadly Imperial ambitions, money-hungry forceful acquisition of oil and resources, and further imposition of globalised White Supremacy. We, the people, suffer at the hands of our very nations that copiously delude us into thinking there’s no way out, there’s no alternative, there’s no hope.
We implore you learn more about North Korea, and will be adding more resources to our Drive, linked in our link tree. Here’s some more resources on Korea:
Nodutdol 노둣돌 is an excellent pro-Palestinian organisation of diasporic Koreans organising for a world free of Imperialism, and for the reunification of Korea. Check out their page, and website, to keep up to date on their events, organising and get more information on what the West try to hide.
We also recommend this excellent documentary:

Learn Korean with Korean Children’s Shows
Many children’s media is easily accessible too, with a lot of shows officially uploaded to YouTube for free so you don’t have to hunt down resources or pay for a specific subscription or platform. They are great for beginner practice because of the easy-to-follow plots, simple dialogue, and story!
Tumblr media
Hello Jadoo – 안녕자두야 The plot focuses on a young girl in Seoul and her antics with friends and family.
The Youtube channel Learn Korean with Jadoo is a good resource, with both Korean and English subtitles (with subtitle options for more languages too!) in short 10min episodes.
Pororo the Little Penguin – 뽀롱뽀롱 뽀로로 The most popular recent Korean children’s TV show, Pororo has hour-long episodes uploaded to YouTube for free as well; but the official channel doesn’t come with English or Korean subs so keep that in mind.
Dooly the Little Dinosaur – 아기공룡 둘리 A late 80s to 90s Korean kids’ TV show, Dooly is also an official South Korean citizen
Anpanman – 안판만 Popular children’s show about a bread superhero, it’s Japanese but still big in Korea (and dubbed in Korean), also referenced in the iconic BTS song
Pinkfong 핑크퐁 No doubt you probably know “Baby Shark”, which craze was started by the Pinkfong channel originally in Korean and then into English. They have a bunch of Korean songs and short stories on their channel.
JunyTony 주니토니 Channel about animated twin wizards with animal friends, who go on magical and musical adventures, using their spells to save the day.
yearimTV 예림TV This YouTube channel has many short stories and songs like the others, but also has a focus on traditional Korean stories.

Must Try Fried Chicken Brands In Korea
Kyochon:
Tumblr media
The most popular fried chicken brand in Korea. Try their Red Combo to taste the spiciness from Korean red pepper.
Ne Ne Chicken:
Tumblr media
Ne Ne Chicken’s must-try is their Snow Wings and Green Onion Chicken. The thin sliced green onion makes the oily chicken more delightful.
BHC:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BHC’s best menu is Prinkle without a doubt. Prinke is packed with sweetness and savory flavors. The sweetness is coming from the cheese powder and the sweetness from the dipping sauce.
BBQ:
Tumblr media
BBQ Chicken’s golden Olive fried chicken and their classic Sweet & Sour Sauce chicken gets well-loved by many. Tasty seasoning and the crispiness will satisfy your big fried chicken crave.
Goobne:
Tumblr media
Goobne is a healthy option since all of their menus are roasted. Locals’ all-time favorite is Galbi chicken and Korean pepper chicken. Locals love having a bowl of rice with galbi chicken.
