Hello there! I hope it’s not a bother, but may i request Douma x Fem!reader? (Headcanons) Basically, the reader meets Douma and instead of treating him like a god figure/begging him for paradise/only caring about her own problems she instead is concerned since he’s literally listening to other people’s burdens ALL day long and grows worried for his mental health? She offers genuine kindness, expecting nothing in return! This surprises/confuses Douma because people either don’t like him or only view him as an object to trauma dump on. (I personally believe Douma is just as broken as the other demons. Everyone overlooks his trauma TBH.) The reader just genuinely cares about him as a friend and whenever she finds out he’s a demon she just accepts him for who he is and doesn’t run away like how Kotoha did. Then maybe that’s when Douma begins to fall for the reader?
Haha, sorry this request is so long. I just love pure fluff and Douma angst in general! (Btw i adore your blog! It’s very adorable and i enjoy reading your headcanons during my breaks. I hope you’re doing alright!)
“a second chance at love”
douma with a fem!reader who genuinely cares about his mental health!

◆ greetings, dearest! thank you so much for requesting, and your kind compliment ! i put in so much effort into my blog, and i’m happy my aesthetic has not gone unnoticed〜! i hope you enjoy! I’m glad i can occupy your time on your breaks! I’m doing alright, also♡
there are no warnings, my dear lotus.
reader is implied female.❀ 〜
a/n : i find this request rather cute! definitely poor doumas trauma is overlooked.. if you notice, muzan only chooses vulnerable people to become his servants. why would douma be any different? it’s very heartbreaking, my lovely lotus. douma is one of my favorites…〜

okay, before i get started, just look at how cute douma is in the gif〜!! his little smile! he’s so tiny! so cute! a sweetheart! absolutely a baby!
when douma first sees you, he sees you no different from his other followers: lovely, but here to vent.
however, when you appeared and you two settled in, douma asked if anything was concerning you.
you said no, and decided to ask HIM if he’s okay!
you know, with listening to others problems and not really getting his own feelings out himself. being trauma dumped onto. not having anyone to talk to.
whats going on? nobody asks about him?
“hehe, my, my! what are you up to, dear? i promise to help guide you to paradise〜 cmon, cmon, talk to me〜”
did he just disregard your questions?! yes, yes he did. the poor boy is confused, but not surprised.
maybe he’s met someone like you before, but it meant nothing to him. couldn’t even recall their name〜
you keep questioning him and eventually he just kindly lets you go, mostly out of the state of confusion.
certainly he’d after he’d finish up with all of his followers, he’d be thinking about you!
why did you care? concerned for his well-being? nobody cares about him, right? not even the uppermoons or muzan!
the next time you visit his cult, you bring him a pretty bowl of edible arrangements! little do you know right now he can’t eat it..
you tell him that he’s just as important as anyone else would be! you also tell him that he can vent out to you, and you’ll be his little personal friend〜♡ how cute!
he would let out that cute little “..hm?..” he does〜
douma is left being confused, but intrigued. and he takes your arrangements♡
mostly questioning on why you’re here. why don’t you have anything to vent about? here for some other sort of service? to socialize?
typically, douma would have counted your days and would’ve eaten you〜
but, he hasn’t? he likes the feeling of being able to cling to someone. but clinging to them isn’t the right term he wants to use.
“dearest, you know, i really enjoy your company, and whatever idea you have going on〜! not many chances like this where i have normal conversations〜”
what idea?! you’re trying to comfort him?!
there’s a possible chance douma would just think you’re pretending. just like him♡
but the way you gently reassure him that his feelings are valid, smile at him, bring him gifts, and sometimes even just sitting next to him..
..tells him that maybe you’re not pretending? he’s very intelligent after all〜
he would be confused on what to feel, and if he should even feel anything at all?!
this next time you visit him, you catch a glimpse of what’s going on in the room you pass by. close the door all the way next time, douma!
with only seeing him sitting on the floor with his back facing you, and a few blood piles, you can pretty much guess only one of two things:
he’s injured〜
the man had devoured someone〜
if anything, you’re more-so confused on how did anyone else not see
later on when he invites you in, you ask him about what you saw.
“ahh! my lovely lotus〜 don’t tell anyone about what you saw, okay? the blood wasn’t mine, im unharmed. perhaps i’m not human, my dear〜”
bingoooo!!!!
for one reason or another, it doesn’t phase you, and you still wish to continue being his friend, and you stay with him♡〜
he would just sit there with his rainbow eyes filled with life, and ask you are you sure. when you say yes, he would clap his hands together with a bright smile and a single word, “lovely!”
now he’s grown more attached to you. but still, clingy isn’t the right word to use.
we all know douma has troubles with emotions, so he would ask one of the uppermoons on what’s he’s feeling.
he would ask daki, because she works at the house and deals with all types of emotions. her response:
“… don’t tell me you’re in ‘love’ with somebody? gross.”
of course, he would be puzzled by his profound new “love”, but he would be willing to give it a try〜
he spends the rest of his time painting you, collecting flowers and little desserts for you.
and when he sees you, he gives them to you, along with a few compliments!
although douma claims he’s already in love with you, it’s more so of a crush for now♡
hmm… i feel like douma would fall in love in stages?
with that being said,
he wouldn’t completely fall in love with you until enough time as passed where he can believe you won’t abandon him.
even then, he would still sometimes be in denial, since he went decades without love or emotions.
it’ll take him some time, but he’ll get it!
from here and on, he would often give you kisses and thank you for always being so kind to him!
never had he ever thought someone would care for him.
but not only did you tell him wrong, but you showed him wrong as well〜
for eternity, douma will always love and cherish you..
..as long as it’s reciprocated by the one who showed him it all, you♡
“my lovely lotus, you’ve been such a great follower of mine, so loyal and sweet. however, for someone as unique as you, why don’t you be my other half instead? i’ve heard of soulmates before as well, wouldn’t that just be lovely〜?”
ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻ੈ✩‧₊˚ ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻ੈ✩‧₊˚
Tumblr media
ahh!! my apologies for getting this out so late, dearest〜 i hope this satisfy your douma needs, and it certainly did for me! no need to apologize for the “long request”, there’s no such thing〜♡
this were fun to write! thank you for your support and patience, my precious flowers❀〜

Angel (pt. 2)
credit to the artist (wish I knew who it was) for the beautiful fanart
————————————————————————Even with her swollen face, Douma knew something was different about the woman. The fear that he smelled on her washed him with memories of his human life. Of people whose burdens were so great that they couldn’t care less about blubbering it all to a child with special eyes.
But it wasn’t just that; she wasn’t just there to complain to him about her life as she kneeled before him. Even without her voice, Douma had heard her plea. She was exhausted and wanted help, she wanted to be saved. And who was he, if not humanity’s great savior?
The face he fixed was so gentle, all the soft and fullness of beautiful youth. A desire to just gaze at her almost outweighed his desire to taste what he could only explain as spring. Her coal-black hair, delicate body and fresh blood. He almost worried that if he closed his eyes, she would be replaced with a field of flowers, even amidst the frost.
Her eyes were green, such a saturated color that it reminded Douma of the lush forest she had stumbled out of. It resembled the very earth that existed long before any of them had. It only made sense that just as the Earth, she too was a mother.
He helped her stand, walking her carefully towards the doors of his temple. She had called the man an angel, and he wanted to laugh, tell her how terribly mistaken she was. But he couldn’t bring himself to, not when her face looked so unfathomably hopeful. Now this, this was someone worth saving. Worth giving life to. “What’s your name?” He asked as they walked.
“Hashibira Kotoha.”
The name rang in Douma’s mind like wind chimes. “Kotoha,” he tested, and to his surprise, liked the way it sounded on his tongue. He smiled down at her. “You are safe now.” He assured.
Douma wondered if the woman had even realized she was holding her breath as she released it. He felt her anxieties flow out of her, like a murmuring creek spilling into a large river. And he was the river, carrying everyone and their worries inside of him.
“Where did you come from?” He asked as they finally reached the doors. She had been staring at them as if in a trance, when she flicked her gaze to the ground. “A village, on the other side of the forest.” She mumbled. By the way she reacted at the thought of the place, Douma knew she had been running for a reason. Before he could ask about it, Kotoha spoke. “What is this place?” She questioned. Her voice was a birdsong, and once again Douma wondered if she was the human incarnation of spring.
He smiled at her. “This, is the temple of the Eternal Paradise Faith.” He moved his arm in a sweeping motion, indicating to the temple to emphasize his point. He put a slender hand to his own chest. “And I, am its leader, Douma.” Kotoha’s eyes widened, and she dropped to her knees, prostrating. “I am so sorry, Lord Douma. I wasn’t aware-” “Oh no, please stand.” He cut in, smiling playfully. “Your son won’t last much longer if you keep dropping him into the snow.” There was a small silence before she stood. As she opened her mouth to speak once more, angry shouts sounded from the forest. They were loud, and fast approaching.
Douma felt Kotoha tense, and she stared at him with wide, frantic eyes. “Please,” her voice was a squeak. A tear rolled down her distressed face. “They’re here to hurt me. Please.” She pleaded. Her shaking hand was gripping his shirt. Douma looked back at the forest to see a woman and a large man lumber toward them. “You witch! How dare you run from me!” The man shouted.
They finally made it to where Kotoha and Douma stood, gasping for breaths. Hands on his knees, the man looked up at Douma. “Thank you so much for catching her. I apologize, my wife can act quite unlike herself sometimes.” He reached a tired arm out towards him. “I will take her back now. I hope she wasn’t much trouble for you.” He panted.
“Not at all,” Douma responded coolly, like a snake waiting for its prey’s moment of weakness. He still had his lazy smile plastered on his face. He felt Kotoha take a timid step back, standing close behind him. Her hand was still on his shirt. “In fact, I was just asking about her injuries. In her little journey, she seems to have gotten quite battered.”
“Oh, that’s normal. That girl is an awful clutz, after all.” The woman chimed in, as if she was making the situation any better. Douma stood still as a statue, his casual smirk unwavering. Realizing he was making no progress with him, the man tried appealing to Kotoha.
He reached his hand out, almost to touch her, but she shrank away from his grasp. “Darling,” his voice was strained, Douma knew he was barely keeping up his facade. Humans, so easy to read. “Come with me, let's head home.”
Douma looked behind him to the young woman, eyes void of any emotion. “Go on,” he urged. “You can go.” But Kotoha merely shook her head in silence, the scent of her fear overwhelming as she stared her husband down. Douma’s brows furrowed, looking at the man with feign confusion. “Hmm.” Douma crossed his arms. “Seems you wife doesn’t want to go with you. How bizarre.” Douma was practically taunting him, and he could tell her husband was becoming agitated.
For a second, he wondered what flavors the man would have. He’d definitely taste fermented, with all the booze Douma was sure he drank. That was fine, Douma enjoyed intoxication every once in a while. The woman however, would taste like poison. The kind that would work slow, until it had you twitching on the floor, confused as to how you got so ill. Douma would just take his time with her, to give his body time to absorb all the poison from her pathetic little fangs. The man had dropped his hand, curling it into a fist at his side. It trembled.
“I will ask you again, kindly give me back what I own.”
Douma laughed softly. “No.” He smiled menacingly at the man. The man shot him a glare.
“Bastard!” He yelled out, raising his fist in an attempt to attack Douma. Something landed in the snow with a soft thump. The man stared in horror at the blood pouring out of the stump that was once his hand. Him and the old lady both began to scream, the man using his other hand to attempt another assault, this one aimed for Kotoha. “You bitch!” He yelled out.
~~~~
Kotoha blinked, and the man was gurgling, clutching desperately at his throat. Blood was spurting violently from the deep cut on his neck, before Douma reached out a finger to push against her husband’s forehead. The head slumped all the way back, touching his spine and only hanging onto the rest of his body by a few stringy tendons. His struggling stopped, and he collapsed before Douma in the snow.
Kotoha didn’t realize just how much blood a person could spill. The red snow had spread and stained the bottom of her kimono. Douma lightly fanned himself with a gold fan that seemed to have materialized out of thin air. The silver edge of it was covered in thick, red fluid. “Man, I hate working up a sweat.” He sighed, as if he was complaining about some warm weather.
Her mother in law stared at her son’s body, her mouth gaping, eyes bulging to the point that Kotoha was afraid they would drop right out of their sockets. She put her hands up in surrender. “You know what? You can keep her, she wasn’t that important to me anyways. How much would you like for her? Maybe I can bring her stuff here for you! Since she left all her belongings back home. I hope she brings you good fortune and company! Consider this our payment for your kindness in finding her-” She rambled on feverishly, when suddenly she too started to choke, dropping to her knees before Douma.
“You speak far too much, hag.” He spoke, his voice dripping with sugar sweet malice. He glowered at her, face plastered with disdain as if looking at vermin. “Die.” The woman could only let out a petrified squeal, similar to that of a tortured pig. Her body broke apart, each joint sliced to pieces and bleeding.
What just happened? Kotoha wondered if she was hallucinating. Her heart was beating erratically. Eyes wide, she turned to look at the man standing beside her. “What,” she was gasping. “What are you?”
“Hmm?” Douma was looking at the carnage with an idle grin, eyes sparkling as they slid over to Kotoha. “My my, Hashibira Kotoha. It was like you said.” He brought the fan to his mouth, tongue running across the edge. His hand dropped to his side, face smeared with blood. He smiled wide, seeming to have forgotten all about the massacre he was responsible for.
“I’m an angel.”
Authors Note: YAY!! PART 2!! Thank you for enjoying the first part, it means a lot to me. :) Now, as for more, this is as far as I have for now. I was thinking of writing more for these two (maybe that sad sad scene with baby Inosuke ;-;), but for now, this is what I got! I hope you enjoyed.
For a while I was considering writing a fic inspired by OMWF in which Inosuke was the one who was deaged because I thought of it and it sounded so incredibly chaotic—I ultimately decided I already had way too many projects on my hands so nothing came out of it, but here is a list of things that would have happened/been in the fic if I did write it:
Inosuke would not know how to talk yet. Tanjiro would think this was an opportunity to get Inosuke to actually pronounce people’s names correctly. The first thing Inosuke says is: “GA’PACHIRO!”
Squealing at the top of his lungs like a piglet and violently flailing around whenever anyone tries to pick him up
Refusing to go into the bathroom because once Aoi got mad at him for peeing on the floor and when she dragged him in there he thought she was going to throw him in the toilet
Dragging blankets and sheets off of beds to curl up with them in the corner of the room like a nest
I don’t think it would go over well if Tengen tried to take Inosuke in, especially since bby Inosuke is a flight risk (meaning he just wanders off without thinking twice about it; he’s not trying to escape he just doesn’t realize he’s not supposed to leave) and I can’t imagine Tengen would bother to repeatedly track him down. He stays with Shinobu—much to Shinobu’s chagrin.
Kanao would be absolutely bewildered by Inosuke and have no idea what to do with him. Inosuke likes her coin though. She lets him play with it until he tries to eat it.
He’s like a puppy in the sense that he chews up anything he can get his hands on. All the blankets in his nest have holes in them.
Giving him baths is like a three person job because of how much he screams and flails around. He acts like they’re trying to kill him.
He’s even worse about stealing people’s food as a toddler and will literally snatch things out of their hands when they’re right about to eat them
To everyone’s utter shock Zenitsu is really good with toddler Inosuke and is the only one besides Tanjiro who’s able to get him to calm down when he’s freaking out or throwing a fit
He gets nightmares a lot though, which is especially tricky because he isn’t really even able to express what he’s upset about. Surprisingly this is the only time when he lets people hold him. Only on his terms, of course, they have to wait for him to come to them—he’ll crawl onto either Zenitsu or Tanjiro’s lap and refuse to let go for the rest of the night.
This is the only thing he’s embarrassed about when he’s back to normal. Everything else he did he thinks was perfectly reasonable.
Tumblr media
What fun ideas!! If you ever do decide to write the fic, I would love to read it! De-aging fics are one of my favorite genres, there is so much potential for fluff and humor, or angst! Or a mixture of the two!
What a cool concept! I wonder if Inosuke would have slight memories of Kotoha in that state, or would be only be upset by the lack of Boar Mom? 😭
Without giving too much away for my own fic, I think there’s so much potential in a ‘Kanao interacting with a child’ scenario! It’s so fun to explore how someone responds to a child, especially one they aren’t yet connected with.
Chapter 8: Strange behaviour
That damn bastard! Tossing the human female over the wall that separated us?! He had absolutely no respect for women!
I snarl at the wall in front of me. The very one that separated us from each other. If it was gone, I would have attacked him.
However, I turned my attention to the woman. My worry for her was beyond anything I had ever felt in my entire life.
I opened my jaws, lowering my head and moved it to grab the back of her shirt. I gently closed my jaws on her shirt.
I lifted my head, and she dangled from my jaws. I turned around, and hurried into the lush green vegetation. A forest, I mean.
It was an attempt, as I saw Koyuki show me the forest on her phone. That's what she called that thing. A phone.
I never understood humans and their gadgets, only their intentions and personality.
I reached my den, and lowered her on the ground. I was gentle. I didn't want her to be hurt.
I waited until her face made contact with the leaves before I let her shirt go. I lifted my head, tilting it.
Her position seemed uncomfortable, in a human's perspective. I lowered my head and adjusted her position with my snout.
I had to open my jaws and gently grab her limbs to make her position a bit more comfortable. Being uncomfortable was bad.
I know that from experience. I was thankful that Kotoha had taught me about comfortable human positions.
Otherwise I wouldn't have known how uncomfortable positions could lead to some back problems. Or any problems in general.
I pulled my head back, inspecting her again. Her position was much better. I made a satisfied snort and walked next to her.
I tilted my head again, before sitting down next to her. I brought my snout closer to her, taking in her scent.
Douma was right. She had a unique scent. I brought my head back and shook it. Maybe it was perfume? Koyuki always wore that.
I turned my head to look behind me. I heard the metal door slide open, and I knew what time it was.
Feeding time.
I growled, knowing that it was that raven haired male I despised. I got up and made a warning snarl.
My instincts told me to protect the woman. And I never ignored my instincts. I always followed them.
" Calm down, Akaza. I am only here to feed you."
I came out of hiding, snarling at the man named Giyu. I preferred Kypjuro more. He had a smile at least. Not like this man.
" Akaza. Stop."
I heard the woman in the nest inside my small forest groan. I saw Giyu's eyes widen. He immediately tried to rush past me.
But I went on for the attack. I missed unfortunately, but got my footing. I ran past him and stood in front of the female human.
" Shit. This is not good."
I snarled, the woman now awake behind me. He reached for his walkie talkie. I knew what it was, thanks to Koyuki.
" This is Giyu speaking. There is a woman in paddock 3. I repeat, there is a woman in paddock 3."
The walkie talkie came to life. I made a snarl, knowing that the female was probably scared and confused.
She was probably confused about what was happening and probably scared of me standing in front of her, snarling at Giyu.
" Try to get the woman out of there! Kyojuro and Koyuki are on their way."
" Noted."
I snapped my jaws at him, stomping my feet against the soil below them. I puffed up my feathers, showing that I was serious.
" Mrs. Please come to me. Slowly."
He held out one hand, as if to try and tame me while the other hand was ready to try to pin me.
I made another snarl, eyeing the female as she slowly got up. I only started to slowly circle him, snarling unhappily.
" I am so sorry for this trouble! I-I can explain-"
" You better explain."
" I-I-"
" Come here right now. We'll listen to your excuse after I get you out of here."
" We?!"
" Just come here."
I saw how she looked scared and ashamed. I didn't like it. I saw her slowly approach the male, all while I still snarled at him.
I saw Kyojuro and Koyuki enter my enclosure. However, I snarled at them as well. This wasn't how I usually acted.
They were surprised. Even I was surprised from my actions. I never snarled at them. I saw Giyu leave my enclosure with her.
All while Kyojuro and Koyuki approached and tried to calm me down. I snarled again, but shook my head after a while.
" I am going to Giyu. I need to find out why the lady was in here in the first place."
" Check the cameras after she tells you her part of the story. We can't have another lying janitor."
I watched Kyojuro leave. It was only Koyuki and I. All alone in this place I have dared to call prison.
She looked at me. I saw surprise, worry and sadness gloss her eyes. I averted my gaze. I didn't want to look her in the eyes.
Not after my actions. I felt guilty and utterly embarrassed. What was wrong with me? This has never happened before.
" Akaza..."
I made a small click, still refusing to look her in the eye.
" What came over you?"
I turned my body and walked towards the small forest the park had provided me with. I heard Koyuki walk behind me.
I was never going to hear the end of it. She had questions, and so did I. Questions to which I didn't have the answer for.
I couldn't even talk to her, explain to her why I acted like that. Not when I also didn't know why I had acted like that.
I could only communicate with her by using letters. I was not ready for it. Not ready at all. I hated feeling guilty.
This was going to take a while. I laid down, huffing as my feathered tail was lifted off of the ground and it the ground again.
I repeated this, turning my head whenever she was trying to look at me. I always felt horrible when doing something wrong around her.
This was going to be a long day. Not to mention how I felt sympathetic for the human Douma tossed into my enclosure.
She didn't deserve it. She didn't deserve any of this! I stopped thinking about her, trying to figure out my strange behaviour.
Hopefully she didn't get into trouble or fired.
Bonus Chapter No. 1
Muzan x Ume
Recommended Songs: Play with Fire - Same Tinnesz, Daddy Issues - The Neighborhood, House of Cards - BTS
Muzan slowly sipped from his champagne flute, swirling the sparking, golden liquid around. He sighed, and his eyes narrowed as he scanned the crowd.
How utterly dull, he thought while looking at the masses. So plain and boring, like they all had nothing going on in their lives.
He desperately desired to be anywhere else than here, but work called for it. He was a top surgeon in his field and owned part of the hospital for which this founding celebration was.
There was a spot of color that caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. He looked to see an extravagantly dressed young woman.
 Her long white hair was parted cleanly down the middle, with two strands framing her face. Two braids hung loosely by the sides of her head while two others were tied up into a strikingly high ponytail. Her tantalizing pose enhanced her luscious curves and divine figure. She wore a hot pink silk gown with intricate spiral beading across the bust and waist and a bewitching slit showing the smooth skin of her leg, adorned with a matching fluffy pink coat.
People watched her beguiling figure in amorous astonishment as she slinked, heading toward where Muzan and Douma sat. She wore a flirtatiously sly smirk on her face and a suggestive look in her eyes.
“Oh, it’s Ume. He had almost forgotten the man was there. Muzan, you remember my daughter, Ume, right?” Douma said beside him.
“Yes, I remember her,” Muzan said before taking a big sip of his champagne. He remembered her all right. How could he forget when he was the one who bought her the extravagant outfit that adorned her enticing body and many of the other luxurious items in her wardrobe. Dresses. Blouses. Diamond jewelry that nearly outshone her irresistible smile and expensive leather handbags.
How could he forget her when she lay in his bed more than his own. How could he say no to indulging her when she asked so sweetly.
“Hi, Papa! Hello Kibutsuji-san.” Ume smiled before sitting adjacent to the both of them.
“I’m so glad you could make it, Ume. You look lovely. Are Gyutaro and Kotoha with you?” Douma asked her in his usual joviality.
“You know Gyutaro hates these kinds of events, and sadly, Ko-chan wasn’t feeling well, so she decided not to come.”
“That is truly a shame; I guess I should call her and check on her,” Douma said before walking away, seemingly looking for a place to call his wife as Muzan and Ume watched his retreating figure.
 A server walked to the table they were both sitting at with a tray of drinks and silently offered another drink; Ume took two glasses, handing one off to Muzan and the server promptly walked off to attend to the other partygoers.
Ume peered at Muzan with a small smile as she took a sip from the glass.
“That dress does look quite nice on you, Ume. You just couldn’t resist being the center of attention, could you? Although I bought you plenty of others, you had to choose more than one, didn’t you?” Muzan said, his eyes trailing down to her chest. The dress was low cut and exposed much of her breast.
“Well, My daddy bought it for me, picked it out himself; how could I not wear such a precious gift? Don’t I look nice in it?” she asked teasingly, placing her glass down. She looked him up and down as words dripped from her gloss-tinted lips and swirled into his ears. He was ready to get up and take the woman in front of him.
“You look lovely. Everyone here knows you look divine, although they don’t know you belong to me.” Muzan stood up from his seat, looking at Ume, dead in the eyes. “But you know this, yet you still wore this?” He took a moment to drink in her exposed skin before giving her a stern glare. “You know better. Come. I think I need to teach you a lesson, princess.”
He rented one of the event hotel’s rooms before leading her into the elevator. As the door slid closed, Muzan pressed Ume against the wall, grabbing her chin and tilting her face closer to his own. With a sweet look, she takes his outstretched hand as he leads her through the crowd undetected.
“You know, Ume… lately, it’s seemed like you’ve been trying your hardest to be bad, wearing those tiny shorts and going around without your panties. I paid a lot of money for those, you know,” Muzan said with a sly smirk. He squeezed the soft flesh of her waist as he pulled her closer before taking his time to feel what he would soon be reclaiming as his.
“I know I’ve been bad, but I promise I can be good.” Ume slipped her hands down Muzan’s chest. “Can you guess what I’m wearing?” Her hand traveled to the slit of her dress, pulling the dress up to allow him a look.
He glanced down to realize that she was wearing a lacy black thong that sat high on her supple hips.
Muzan glided his hands down her curves before slipping his hands through the slit in her dress and gently squeezing her ass. If the elevator had taken any longer, he would’ve had to take her right then and there with no regard for who would’ve caught them. Fortunately for the both of them, the doors slid open before he could start.
It took all their strength to detach from each other before walking to their room. The only thing that broke their reverie was the obvious notification sound of Ume’s phone. She sighed softly as she turned the screen on to see what it was.
“Who was that?”
“Papa, he was just letting me know he left.”
“Good, that means no distractions.”
He was swift to take and silence her phone before placing it in the inner pocket of his suit. With nothing else to disturb them, they quickly latched onto each other, kicking off their shoes before stumbling onto the large bed.
“Is this for me?” she giggled, gripping the silk sheets underneath her as he pressed kisses to her neck.
“Only the best for my Princess,” he said as he pulled himself away.
She pouted at his absence before grabbing his tie and pulling him back on top of her.
“Ah ah ah. You’re not the one in control here.” Muzan smirks before pinning Ume’s hands above her head.
Muzan leaned down, loose strands of his hair brushing against the side of Ume’s soft cheek. He peppered soft kisses on Ume’s cheek before gently running his tongue along her earlobe, reveling in her sweet moans.
“Now, be a good girl and don’t touch yourself, okay?” Muzan whispered, nibbling her skin.
Ume readily nodded, and Muzan slid a hand under Ume and slightly lifted her off the bed to access the zipper. He easily pulled down the zipper as he pushed the dress down her shoulders.
She held his gaze in hers as she propped herself up and slipped her bra off her body, revealing herself to him.
Muzan’s hand traced the outline of Ume’s thong, causing her to bite her lip and let out a small sigh. Muzan’s lips trailed across Ume’s soft skin, showering her with sensual kisses. He enjoyed her soft, sweet moans that filled the quietness of the gilded room. He teased her, riling more of a reaction out of her.
“Please,” she whispered, her hands tangling in his hair.
“Please, what, Princess?”
“Stop teasing me,” she groaned. He smiled, softly biting the inside of her thigh.
“Why? Tell me why.” He pressed a gentle kiss to her thong-covered cunt, her grip tightening on his hair.
“Daddy, please,” she whimpered. With a soft chuckle, he teased her with the tip of his tongue. She heaved a long sigh before he swiftly slipped her thong down her legs and pressed his tongue into her inviting cunt.
Ume exclaimed loudly as he dove in, attacking her cunt with such fervor that it took her breath away. Her legs squeezed his head as she lost herself in the feeling, but he immediately pulled away.
“No~” she whined.
“Keep them open for me, Princess,” he said, blowing softly onto her burning flesh. Her toes curled as she rested her legs on his shoulders.
He continued with his teasing, giving her short, small licks. Enough to make her feel good, but not enough to get her anywhere.
“You make me feel so good,” she moaned, covering her face. He stopped once again, glaring at her. “Muzan!” she exclaimed, her frustration clear on her face.
"Don't cover yourself when you're with me."
"I’m sorry."
"Sorry, what.”
"I’m sorry, Daddy," she said with a sweet, innocent look.
“Good girl.”
Muzan goes back to work in riling up Ume with his persistent  tongue. He ran his tongue up, inching closer to play with her clit before giving it a sloppy suck.
“Ah~”
Ume's mouth laid agape as she let out choked moans, her chest heaving slightly and her back arching off the bed. Her legs wrapped around his head as her pleasure climbed.
“That’s right, Princess. Let me hear that beautiful voice of yours,” he groaned. “Let me hear what no one else will ever hear.”
She let out a small giggle. “Only to stroke your ego.”
“You could be stroking something else if you're going to act like that.” He raised his eyebrows, ready to stop and get up from the carpeted floor.
“You can’t just stop!” she cried, warm tears threatening to fall down her cheeks.
“I already did, didn't I?”
“Wait, no, don't stop. Daddy, please,” she begged, reaching out for him.
“Beg.”
Her wide eyes looked up at him in lust. “Please come back, Daddy. Come lick this pussy.”
“Who does it belong to?”
“It's all yours,” she moaned, spreading her legs wider.
He grinned. “Good girl.”
Muzan returned to his original position, but instead of using his mouth to please his girl immediately, he pushed a set of fingers into her painfully slow. He played with the pacing of his hand to see which speed and motion would get Ume to shake the most. He enjoyed the pleasing sounds that she let out for him and him alone.
It was only then that Muzan placed his lips back onto her body. He bit down on her inner thigh, leaving love bites and hickeys up her leg while he worked his fingers in her. When he felt satisfied with the number of marks on her leg, he quickened the rhythm of his fingers as he pushed them into her deeper. Which got quite the reaction out of Ume; her back arching, and her whole body shook in pleasure.
Muzan took advantage of Ume’s pleasurable state. He latched his mouth to her clit and gave it a suck. Ume let out a guttural moan as she felt Muzan slurp up her juices.
Muzan looked up at Ume with a smirk as he licked his lips. The bulge in his pants was so apparent that he didn’t even try to hide it away.
“Look at what you’ve done to me, Princess,” he said, gesturing down to his face.
She bit her full lips. “Please fuck me, Muzan.”
“I suppose you’ve been good enough,” Muzan said as he undid his pants. She was quick to stop him, sliding down to the floor.
“Allow me,” she said with a sultry smile. She slowly slid his pants down to the floor, pressing a soft kiss to his bulge before caressing his muscular legs. “You look so good, Daddy.”
“Oh, do I?” Muzan said, gripping her hair as she slid his boxers to the floor. “How about you show me what that mouth can do.”
She pressed wet kisses to his length, her beautiful green eyes looking up at him innocently. Her tongue caressed the underside of his shaft, the pleasurable feeling making him grip her hair harder.
“Oh, Princess~”
She moaned softly, using her sweet mouth to caress the full balls that hung underneath his shaft.
“I love pleasing you with my mouth, Daddy,” she said, teasing his tip. Muzan groaned, feeling the blood rushing through his cock.
“Don’t play with me, sweetheart.”
She smirked. “Yes, sir.”
She surprised him as she opened her mouth and took his entire length down her throat. His eyes rolled back, groaning as he held her in place, enjoying the sounds that she made. Her hands gripped the front of his thighs as she choked on his dick before he pulled back, allowing her to breathe.
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes as he proceeded to fuck her face with wanton abandon.
“Your mouth feels so good, Princess,” Muzan groaned, earning a guttural moan from her. Her face turned red as he continued, the immeasurable pleasure almost too much for him before he pulled out of her mouth and let her go. “Get on the bed.”
“Yes, Master,” she moaned. “Please fuck me.”
Muzan leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to Ume’s lips, before lining himself up with her entrance, rubbing his tip through her slick lips. “Tell me how much you want me.”
“Please,” she pleaded. “Fuck me, Master. Fuck me, Daddy. I need you to fuck me. I need you so much.”
“Oh, you need me, huh?” he said as he pushed into her in one strong thrust. Her heat nearly drove him crazy as he rocked against her. He listened to the wonderful moans that tumbled past her lips and drank in her glowing skin that only he would ever see.
She was his, and he would make sure that she knew it. He would make sure she knew it every single time that he was buried deep in her. He vowed to pound her until he was the only thought that her brain could muster.
His name would be the only name that she would ever call.
“Muzan~” she called. “You’re fucking me so good~”
He gripped her full hips as he drove into her. The wet sounds of her pussy filled the room as he pounded her tight hole.
“Ah~ Fuuck me!” Ume said, squeezing her breasts, rolling her nipples between her fingers.
“Yeah, that’s right. Pleasure yourself.”
“Harder, please,” Ume said breathlessly. She thrust her hips upwards, meeting his with her own, creating an intoxicating rhythm that neither of them wanted to break.
He watched her delicate hands grip the sheets as he pleasured her. He groaned, slowing down before pulling out slowly and slamming back into her. Her eyes flew open as she was bombarded with both pleasure and pain.
“SHIT! Aaah.”
The rhythmic combinations of Muzan’s movement thrusting into her overstimulated her headspace. Her vision felt like it was going in and out as he fucked her into oblivion.
 He couldn’t take it anymore. He gripped her thighs tightly as he lifted her lower body and began to hammer her cunt at an unbelievable pace. Ume’s eyes widened, and her mouth gaped as she struggled to breathe. He rutted her like he had never done before. She could feel him deep inside her and, with each thrust, an electrical shock that affected her entire body.
He wasn’t fucking her anymore. He was using her.
Muzan could see the beautiful agony on her face and her mouth widened in a silent scream. Muzan bucked his hips sporadically into Ume. He reached down to grip her shoulders for better leverage so that he could pound her even harder than he thought he could.
 His movements start to get sloppy and uneven. He knew he was close. He refused to back down.
In one swift motion, he flipped her onto her stomach and began to pound her from behind. She screamed, her head bouncing as he held a tight grip on her arms. He panted, sweat dripping down his body as release crept up on him. He leaned down and placed gentle, feathery kisses on her back, only in places that the two of them would ever see—no one else.
He rotated his hips, adamant about maximizing both of their pleasure before he finished. Her cunt had a vice grip on him, and he knew that he didn’t have much longer.
“Mu-Muzan. Too much,” Ume whimpered. He knew he was overstimulating her.
“Hold on, just a moment longer.” He said, out of breath. The mix of tantalizing moans from Ume and the hushed whispers of praises from Muzan were drowned out by the sounds of wet skin slapping.
“Muzan, I’m- gonna- gonna cum!” Ume exclaimed. Her cunt tightened around him as he pounded her. Her body tensed as she released a long, drawn-out moan before she lost herself in her release and fell into a convulsing mess. "I love you, Muzan!"
 “Ah, Fuck.” Muzan groaned at her proclamation as he came. His hips continued to pound her soaking cunt as waves of pleasure rolled over him, the euphoric feeling taking over as hot ropes of cum filled Ume, warming her insides.
Muzan leaned down and pressed a kiss onto Ume’s neck before pulling out, cum immediately leaking out onto the bed.
He flipped over and embraced her tightly, giving her a long, tired kiss before he flopped on the bed beside her and closed his eyes, his breaths heavy and sweat slipping from his brow. He allowed them both time to recover before moving to take action.
“Okay, darling, let’s both get cleaned up.”
Ume groaned and rolled over onto her side, pressing her face into Muzan’s warm chest.
“But I’m so tired.”
“Yeah. Bet you won’t be able to walk tomorrow. Here, I’ll carry you.” Muzan got up from the bed and stretched his back. He then swiftly scooped Ume up, holding her in his arms and taking them both to the bathroom.
“Thank you, Muzan-sama,” Ume said, scooting onto the bathroom counter.
“Anything for my spoiled little princess,” Muzan said, their foreheads pressed together as they stared at each other intimately. Their lips met for a soft, tender kiss.
“Muzan.”
“Hmm?”
“I Love you.”
Wind Breaker Episode 2 Review - Welcome To Fuurin High
With an action-packed premiere, the second episode is more of a slower paced one as it helps Sakura and the viewers be introduced to the town and Furin High School with the help of newly introduced Akihiko Nirei who isn’t much of a fighter but more of an information broker in a way. Will Sakura be able to fit into the town and the school?
Tumblr media
Sakura still isn’t used to the friendliness of the town as he gets used as a horse by a granny and the other townsfolk give him presents as thanks for protecting the town yesterday. Sakura does take all of their gifts as he’s a sucker for compliments but he then loses them when a girl comes up to him for help. The post-credit skit reveals that he actually picked them back up and ate them. He’s a good boy at heart.
When he stops by Cafe Porthos, which is Kotoha’s cafe and the cafe the granny he was helping out wanted to go, Kotoha gives him breakfast, which is a fancy egg sandwich with fruits and this is where he meets Nirei, who barges in with a fancy shirt underneath his uniform and starts being a bit nosy as he asks Sakura if his white hair comes from stress. I was laughing when he mentioned that.
My impression of Nirei is that he’s definitely going to be the brain to Sakura’s brawn, but  with a unique twist that both of them share a braincell. I do like that he’s practically Sakura’s guide to the town and that he’s a huge klutz as he’s always tripping and colliding into something. I feel you, Nirei. I collide into things all the time. While he’s a motor mouth, I find Nirei cute! He’s not as cute as Sakura, but he has his moments! I do like that while he sucks at fighting, he still has guts to protect someone from gangsters. I just hope he won’t be a liability going forth. The last thing we need is the constant distressed person for Sakura to save.
Nirei’s voice actor is Shoya Chiba. I’ve seen his name pop up in different animes. I’m most familiar with his role as Sing Su Ling from Banana Fish and he was also in Blue Lock as Imamura. I do like that the anime does cast well-known names and rising stars to bring in their fans and get fans of the original source hyped up for a splendid voice cast.
Tumblr media
Fuurin High School is quite a wacky school. The students in Sakura class are also very interesting. One standout face is a rather beautiful boy with an eyepatch and tassel earrings named Hayato Suo. He teases Sakura by introducing himself as Leonardo Dicaprio. The fact that Sakura falls for it and believes he’s from overseas before Suo corrects himself was hilarious. He’s surprisingly a jokester, which actually makes him a lot harder to read. Is he hiding something? He’s definitely that one character who is flighty but has a sad past.
His voice actor is Nobunaga Shimazaki. I really like Shimazaki’s voice and he shows off his range from voicing the lethargic Nagi from Blue Lock to flighty Suo. I feel like Shimazaki isn’t particularly typecasted because he has versatility. Like, you both expect and not expect him to voice a character like Suo? Like when you listen to it, it just fits? The fact that Yuma Uchida and Nobunaga Shimazaki reunite here is both amusing and cool! They were Nagi and Reo in Blue Lock and Kyo and Yuki in Fruits Basket!
Tumblr media
The last standout character is Kyotaro Sugishita who makes his presence known to Sakura by throwing a desk at him. Talk about making an entrance. He’s someone who really respects Umemiya, the top person of the school and doesn’t abide to anyone who speaks ill of him. This is why he picks a fight with Sakura. He’s tall, but hunches. His scowl and long black hair helps him stand out.
His voice actor is Kouki Uchiyama and it surprisingly fits. He’s got the trademark moody and emo vibes Ucchi characters are known for. I just need to listen to it more because he only shows up towards the end of the episode.
Tumblr media
I honestly can’t wait to see what sort of story Wind Breaker will be about and how Sakura will become the top of the school. I also can’t wait to see what sort of friend group he’ll have as it’s necessary for a shounen MC to have one! I’ll be tuning in next week to see more. What are your thoughts on this episode?
|| Please like this post if you’re interested in me adding my demon Shinobu to the blog!! Only like the post if you really mean it!! It takes a LOT of effort to add a character, and while I’m so happy to add her, I don’t want to do it if no one is interested!!
Here’s a rundown about her character below the cut, just in case anyone’s curious~ tw for bugs, cannibalism, and violence
Overview:
This takes place in a full on reverse au that I made with my sisters; Shinobu wasn’t just turned into a demon. Instead, she is swapped in the place of Douma and is now Upper Moon Two (still called Shinobu).
She can’t easily interact with any of the normal characters. We can always have Shinobu stuck in the canon world or vice versa, or I could place her in the canon universe with a few changes. She WON’T be able to interact with normal Douma, Kotoha, Inosuke, Enmu, Aoi, Kanae, or Kanao unless Shinobu is “stuck” in the canon world. All other characters around her can be canon in any thread that she’s in.
Shinobu is swapped with Douma, Kotoha is swapped with Kanae, Enmu is swapped with Kanao, and Aoi is swapped with Inosuke. As such, they’re all connected to my demon Shinobu’s backstory in some way and thus can’t be changed (unless she’s sent to “the canon world”).
Design/Abilities:
Obviously, her design is based off of a butterfly!! I haven’t decided on what her attire would be, either a purple kimono or maybe something kind of similar to what canon Douma wears...I’m not sure yet XDD She has antenna and large wings that she can use to fly. In addition to her two “human” arms and legs, she also has a pair of extra arms that are more bug-like. They’re much longer than her usual human appendages and are her primary weapon. She fights with them much like she does with her usual sword, except now she has two--she fights like she’s wielding a rapier, hoping to stab rather than slash. If she punctures someone with her insect arms, she can inject a venom that will kill them.
When someone is injected with her venom, she will create a cocoon around them that quickens their decay--inside, larger amounts of her venom kill her prey until all that remains is mush. She can then impale the cocoon with one of her insect arms and “drink” what’s left.
She can also disperse herself into over a hundred purple butterflies. They’re poisonous if eaten, and it causes her a tiny bit of pain when one is killed (like a needle piercing her skin at most) and she mostly uses them to observe from afar. The butterflies will disintegrate in sunlight.
Like normal Douma, Shinobu doesn’t feel any emotions. She fakes a smile and acts how she thinks she should act, but in no way is anything genuine.
Backstory (SPOILERS BEWARE!!!)
Shinobu can’t quite remember her human life, but she knows her name was Shinobu--last name unknown--so she kept it as a demon (She was willing to become a demon, but she doesn’t remember her past just because it’s been so long). At some point she met Kanae, a biologist with a baby younger sister (Aoi). Their parents were dead so it was only the two of them. Kanae met Shinobu when she was in a butterfly form, and since the insect looked so interesting, she brought it back to her house to study. Shinobu chose to stay innitially because, as a biologist--and mostly botanist--Kanae had a chance of discovering the blue spiderlily. However, she stayed because Kanae amused her--and maybe a part of her liked being looked after, like it was something lost but familiar. So, butterfly Shinobu would help her with her studies by landing on different things of interest to help Kanae connect the dots. Soon enough, though, Kanae came home from a small trip early and found her “butterfly” in her true form and devouring a human. Kanae took her baby sister and ran, but without anywhere to go, she hoped her sister would survive as she threw her off a cliff and into a river. Shinobu then devoured Kanae.
A few years later, Shinobu found a Hashira out with a woman late at night. Praising her luck, the demon then tried to kill them both. However, she couldn’t kill the Hashira--instead, all she could do was kill the woman he was with, his wife. Knowing that the sun would soon rise, Shinobu fled and left the woman--Kotoha--to die in her beloved’s--Douma--arms.
Finally, she was one day confronted in the infinity fortress by none other than the Hashira himself. The two fought, but soon Shinobu managed to kill him. As she was devouring him, his adoptive son and Tsuguko entered the scene (Enmu). He tried to fight her but the battle wasn’t going into his favor, when the girl that had been dropped in the river all those years ago then entered the fight. What Shinobu didn’t know was that Douma had sacrificed himself by using a final move in his breathing style to basically self-destruct, and by devouring him, she was freezing to death. Before she knew it, the insect couldn’t move and was left frozen for the two humans to decapitate--the impact not only cut off her head but shattered her body entirely into shards of ice.
This means that she and Kanae are NOT related in this au. However, she was the one who turned Kanao (the Flower Demon that attacked a whole train of people) into a demon. She feels--or THINKS she feels--some sort of connection to her and often refers to her as her little sister.
I just want to introduce you guys to the Idolmaster Million Live girls that are involved in the Sword Art Online collab! I’ll separate it between Unleash Blading and Theater Days since the collab is going on in both games. This might get a little long so I’m placing it under a read more. I’ll be including a link to a song(s) that each girl is involved in too so you can hear them sing. I hope you all can grow to love these girls too!
If you’re interested in getting into Idolmaster - please check out this article by Polygon. It provides an in-depth introduction to each series.
Starting off with Unleash Blading:
Tumblr media
Yuriko Nanao (CV: Miku Ito) - a shy & reserved young girl who adores books. Her favorite genres are fantasy and mystery. She is an active daydreamer, daydreaming about the fantasy worlds in her books. Yuriko plays MMORPGs often with Anna. There she is known as “ lillyknight”.
Tumblr media
Anna Mochizuki (CV: Shiina Natsukawa) - a withdrawn girl. Her only interests are gaming and singing. Despite her shyness, she takes her idol work seriously. Whenever Anna is on stage or doing idol activities, she flips the switch and becomes more energetic. She is close friends with Yuriko (both in-game and outside). In the MMORPGs they play together, Anna is known as “vivid_rabbit”.
They’ve sung a duo song together called SeichouChu→LOVER!!
Tumblr media
Miki Hoshi (CV: Akiko Hasegawa) - one of the original Idolmaster idols - she is from 765 productions! Miki is laidback and rather lazy girl. She never takes anything seriously, but despite that she has an above average grades at school. Miki loves onigiri and is confident in herself. She often refers to herself in the third person using “Miki.”
Moving on to the Theater Day girls, (some of their appearances were changed to better fit the character they’re portraying so I also included their appearance in Million Live)
Tumblr media
Julia (CV: Aimi) - 795Pro’s resident rocker! She originally wanted to become a Punk Rocker, but accidentally signed a contract with an idol agency. Julia still gives her idol activities her all! Julia actually isn’t her real name and she refuses to tell anyone what it is.
Bonus: Aimi actually plays the guitar and she’s played in some of the Million Live lives. In addition; because of her, the franchise Bang Dream! Girls Band Party came into existence.
Tumblr media
Kotoha Tanaka (CV: Risa Taneda) - a diligent girl who has a passion for acting. Kotoha does everything to 100% of her ability and is often seen as a “perfect” at everything. She suffers from low self-confidence and often claims that she has no talent (besides acting). She is close friends with two of the other idols, Megumi and Elena, forming the unit Tri Star Vision with them.
Tumblr media
Mizuki Makabe (CV: Rika Abe)  - a well mannered and serious young girl who struggles with expressing her emotions. She works hard to improve on that front, but feels insecure about it wondering if she’s fit to be an idol. Mizuki is really kind and cares about everyone in the theater, often providing her help when its needed. She is talented at doing magic tricks, puzzles, and poker.
Tumblr media
Serika Hakozaki (CV: Momo Asukura) -  due to her sheltered upbringing and protective parents, Serika doesn’t know much about the world and is eager to learn about it through her idol activities and help from the Producer.  Serika plays the violin and has a doggie named Junior.
And last but not least;
Tumblr media
Tsubasa Ibuki (CV: Machico) - Easygoing, talented, and energetic, Tsubasa brightens up every room that she is in. She loves to do anything that she considers is fun. Tsubasa sometimes struggles with putting her thoughts into words and uses actions instead. She is somewhat naive and childish - one of her fellow idols compares her to a cat because of her personality. Tsubasa, Mirai, and Shizuka are the representative girls for the Million Live Project.
Bonus: Julia, Tsubasa, and Mizuki are often referred to as the “Aisle Trio” because they sung Aisle together (which was written by Julia). Here is the live version of the song too as performed by their seiyuu (Tsubasa is in the center, Mizuki to the left, Julia on the right)!
May I have some hc of being the younger sister of Kotoha (by 4 year), but never meeting Inosuke until later in life because they left to be a demon slayer before Kotoha became pregnant? (I’m sorry if it’s weird ;;)
Anon how dare you read my mind. This went from headcanons to mini-scenario also she’s best friends with shinobu, perhaps even girlfriends feel free to imagine it how you will, and honestly please request more of this because i LOVE the idea of kohota having a younger sister, the things i would risk for that woman, and inosuke having a feral aunt, the idea’s been in my head since i first watched demon slayer.
Also this become more of an oc situation, thing, she’s still got y/n, but i use ‘she’ instead of you because it flowed a bit better but ya’ll feel free to indulge as much you want! She’s pretty open for interpretation, but she’s like very feral, but aren’t we all.
Spoilers for the manga.
Headcanons — being inosuke’s aunt and a demon slayer
Tumblr media
THE SHORT HISTORY
⏤ Douma was always a little bitch wrong about Kotoha, because she wasn’t dumb or naive, she was perhaps even too smart especially when it came to her sister, so when the day came when she stood before her and pledged to wipe demons from the earth, the same things that had wiped their parents from the earth, Kotoha barely bat an eyelash
⏤ That didn’t mean she was okay with it, far from it, with their parents gone it was Kotoha’s job to keep her sister save and slaying demons was quite frankly the opposite of that.
⏤ Unfortunately Inosuke’s explosive personality came from somewhere, and where Kohota was strong but gentle, her little sister was stubborn and temperamental. Which was quite funnily enough ( or depressingly depending on how you want to look at it ) the exact reason she let her go.
⏤ Her sister didn’t know about him, the man she was married to, let alone the mother-in-law, and she was certain that if she did know it would end in blood, and her little sister would get herself in irreversible trouble, and even worse, danger.
⏤ So she let her go, although it had taken an argument, the worst one she would ever have even in her short-lived life, and her sister had left, naive, young, and stubborn, never to look back.
MEETING INOSUKE
⏤ y/n was an adult when she crossed paths with her family again, but it wasn’t her sister, and unfortunately Kohota seemed to have inherited all the braincells in the family because it had taken a while for her to figure out who Inosuke really was.
⏤ He always wore the bore mask at first, which she found weird ( but cool ), and he was almost more aggressive than her, picking a fight with her as soon as she’d walked into the room where he was stationed with the other two new demon slayers
⏤ ( which by the way she would have totally accepted and she would have totally demolished his ass if Shinobu hadn’t told her she needed her for something )
⏤ The mask may have been weird, but when she saw his face for the first time it freaked her out. Why the hell did this prepubescent feral teenager have her sister’s face, Shinobu did you give me something? Am I hallucinating?
⏤ As it turned out she was not, but Inosuke swore up and down he was raised by boars, and that was logic y/n could just not compete with.
⏤ “You’ve got the same surname,” Shinobu brings up one day. She catches a glimpse of something breaking behind y/n’s eyes and realizes. “It’s a common name,” y/n answers knowing full well it’s not, but she can’t admit it. If he’s here, alone, raised by boars, that means… She shakes her head.
⏤ But when she heard him hum the song under his breath one day, the one Kohota would sing to her when they were young, every little barrier she had put up over the years, every thought that maybe she should check on her sister, all of it suddenly flood in and she could no long pretend that Inosuke was just some weirdly familiar boy.
⏤ He was her sister’s son, Kohota’s son, Kohota who would certainly love this boy with all she had, who would be there through everything for him, and he was raised by boars, without a mother or father, the realization rushed on her so quick she startled Shinobu when she collapsed next to her in tears.
⏤ After crying ( and making Shinobu almost make a bloodpact not to tell anyone that she could cry ) she had to tell Inosuke, which went as well as one would expect, Zenitsu tried to listen in, but almost went deaf from the screaming and loud crying. “There’s two of them,” he muttered fearfully, “I’m going to be deaf by the end of the year.”
⏤ Well, everyone else reacted about the same way, one feral demon slayer was enough, but now there were two, and they were related, and they were so not a good influence on each other.
⏤ y/n takes about five milliseconds before she takes Inosuke under her wing and teaches him everything she knows from reading and writing to the proper way to fist-fight someone.
⏤ They never talk about Kohota during the the day, but when the sun starts to set y/n opens up, tells him small things bit by bit, makes sure he knows that whatever happened to Kohota she would find out who did it, and she’d make them pay for killing her sister, and for leaving her nephew alone.
⏤ y/n is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Inosuke, Shinobu swears she’s unlocked some secret mother instinct inside her she never knew she had.
⏤ Zenitsu is absolutely terrified of her and it’s almost outweighed by how insulted he is she’s related to Inosuke. She’s got the Hashibira good looks ( minus the scar running along her cheek which Inosuke says is totally badass ), but she’s absolutely feral, but where Inosuke is animal feral, she’s more sword-fight behind a 7/11 feral.
⏤ It’s been a very long time since she’s left her sister to become a demon slayer, and meeting Inosuke was the first time she’s ever felt at home again, and through him y/n slowly finds herself opening up to others, but only the ever so sneaky and quiet Shinobu was able to catch the fleeting soft smile on y/n’s face when she looked at Inosuke.
But can y’all imagine...
How very different KnY would be if told from another character’s perspective? Take literally any demon and suddenly the Demon Slayer Corps are painted in whole different light! In other words, I’m really bitter about the fandom and its hatred against the demons in general or just a few specific characters.
(long post, manga spoilers ahead)
With Muzan, it’s a story of a weak boy who just wanted to have a stronger body and then this shady doctor made him incapable of walking in the sun and forced him to eat human flesh? Like?? That fucks you up man. And then he learns how much of a curse immortality is and starts yearning for companions so he starts making them. His own family had forsaken him for something that initially wasn’t even his fault and now they started hunting down his fellow immortals. And what’s more, they act like they’re in the right!
Let’s take the hand demon from the final selection now, shall we? A little scaredy boy who got turned into a demon and ended up killing his brother without even fully realizing what he had done. Soon after, he was captured by this weird man in a mask and thrown in what is essentially a gladiator arena with dozens of people swarming in to kill him every once in a while. He fights his way through, eventually getting stronger and stronger. Eventually, he falls victim to one of the pupils of the man who captured him.
We’re just making a quick stop at Kyougai here before moving on to the moons. And boy did he deserve better! Kyougai has lived his whole life constantly being told what he was bad at. His writings is called trash, his passion for drumming is looked down upon, he has nobody to love him... There’s a lot more to him than just a frustrated bad guy. He cries when, for the first time in his life, someone gives mild appreciation to something he does. Sadly enough, that only happens on his deathbed.
Rui’s backstory was partially shown but imagine if he were the main focus! A boy so weak he could barely walk, suddenly offered the chance to become stronger. And much like in Muzan’s case, it backfired. This was even more enforced by the fact that his own parents tried to kill him! Then he met with the guy who turned him into this thing in the first place and slowly, he forgot all about his family. Loneliness grasping his childish heart, he eventually starts gathering other demons to create a family to feel those bonds again. He has no idea how families should work so he does it in the only way he can think of. But nobody else likes this. Imagine the betrayal he feels when one of his sisters tries to run away from him! And then he almost dies by the hands of someone who has what he had always craved without doing anything for it (at least from his pov). And by the very end, when he is finally reunited with his parents, when he finally felt the genuine love again, he got sent straight to hell for doing what he had to to survive, without being shown a speck of mercy by his killer.
We don’t know anything about Enmu’s backstory (movie, I’m counting on you!) but even with the little we know, a lot can be worked out. Enmu is loyal to a fault, overall pretty smart, he likes giving people happy dreams. He really just wants to please his master and yet, he’s not even given the small victory of killing a kid.
Or what about Daki and Gyuutarou? Again, we got their backstory but if that was the main focus? We’d get to see so so much more of the abuse they went through, of the hard work Gyuutarou put in for the sake of his sister, how he tried to protect her and make her stand up for herself, how he made sure she knew her worth and didn’t become a prostitute at a young age, how he cherished her and how much she relied on him. When she was getting burnt, did she call out his name hoping he would come and save her? Did she apologize for dying on him? Or Gyuutarou, how did he feel when he found her there? For how long afterwards had he blamed himself? He never let go of those feelings. And then around came a charming stranger and offered them both to live on, even as a single being so they could be even closer! Daki got a position so she didn’t have to do any degradative work ever again, Gyuutarou could protect her way better! They were attacked times and times again by the demon slayers and there were probably many tense moments and yet, they made it out, growing ever stronger together as a team... only to be eventually bested by a half-baked demon, a bunch of children and a very self-centered guy who took himself three wives.
Then we have Gyokko, an unfortunate artist who was most likely never appreciated, no matter how hard he tried. His art was dismissed as broken, imperfect, lacking in talent. And what’s worse, he may have had those feelings too. He knew he didn’t have very good focus, he probably couldn’t give his work as much work as he would’ve liked. After he obtained the capability of increasing his speed enough to nulify this deficit, he also came face to face with many people, many slayers, many pillars even, some of them who mastered the full-focus breathing technique and used it like it was nothing. How did that make him feel? And eventually he died facing someone who had all the focus he ever wanted, with his art and his own form insulted by a mere child.
Hantengu is not talked about nearly enough but can you imagine how he would tell the story? An almost blind beggar, constantly being pushed around because of his poor looks (something he could hardly change), thrown out of everywhere (kind of his fault since he was a thief but if it was his story, we’d get full reasoning), people refused to even talk with him in the end. Finally, he meets someone who gives him power and lets him be stronger so he doesn’t have to beg for everything. He’s still so very scared of everything though and he ends up doing his scary master’s bidding and gets killed by a bunch of violent screaming kids who insult him in every possible way without ever trying to look at things from his side.
Now we come to Akaza. Now here we got a lot of backstory so I’ll just skim over it real quick. In order to help his sick father, this good son stole money for the medicine and constantly got beaten up by the officials, simply because he wanted to help. His father died because he thought he was being a burden. Or, from Akaza’s point of view, his father died because he was too weak not to get caught. Can you imagine the shame? The pain? He eventually got taken in by a kind master, fell in love with a sweet girl and was supposed to marry her. And then his whole world suddenly crumbled down again. Everyone he cared about died and he couldn’t help them. Can you imagine how much he beat himself up over it? He became a demon but even after that, he would never eat girls. He just wouldn’t, it was too much for him. And yet, he managed to grow stronger. His end actually wasn’t all that tragic as he met up again with his wife, though both of them ended up burning in hell yet again.
Now we’re getting to Douma, and this one I’ll have lots of fun with. So this story is again about a little boy. This time, he’s not weak. This time, he’s not petty. He’s beautiful and everyone loves him. A lot. Too much even. He has no relationship with his parents because they don’t treat him like a human, they treat him like a medium. Everyone does. He can’t go outside to play with his peers, he’s stuck inside the temple, listening to people complaining about their miserable lives. That’s literally his entire life. Just frustration upon frustration upon frustration. Slowly, he starts going numb towards all of this. When something repeats for too long, a person will stop reacting naturally. That leads him to believe he’s emotionless. His father cheats on his mother constantly with other women from the cult, the bitterness grows with every day. Until one day, she snaps and kills him and then herself. But because Douma has no relationship with them and because of how much pain was already pushed onto him from others, he doesn’t have a reaction. He knows he can’t really help anyone. He doesn’t have that kind of power. So when the opportunity offers itself, he jumps after it. Since he’s numb to pain, he thinks, he is always happy. And he’s immortal now. So everyone he consumes can be just the same for sure! Later on, he meets Gyuutarou, a pitiful man clinging to his dying sister. And what does he do? He helps them out. And he takes responsibility for them later on as well. He strives to become strong, he strives to get along with everyone. Just the sheer amount of times he tries to spend time with someone only to be shut down shows a lot about how lonely he actually feels, even if he doesn’t call it that way. When Kotoha comes to the temple, he accepts her even with a child and if there’s one thing you can clearly see in his expression whenever he looks at her, it’s the warm, soft feeling of genuine affection, if not down-right love. Her refusing to let him explain why he does what he does and running off after insulting him? That had to hurt terribly. And she even threw her own baby off a cliff rather than to let him take care of the boy. The demon hunters coming to kill him? They want to ruin everything he tried so hard to keep together. He kills them and grants them the happiness he brings to his followers whenever he has enough time to do it. He dies at the hands of a spiteful woman who doesn’t know anything about him and is blinded by hatred and rage, a little girl who insults his feelings towards his friends while not really having any right to speak (her own emotions are way more broken than his and, arguably, for pettier reasons) and the child who’s mother he sheltered and who threw him aside.
That was long but we finally got to Kokushibou! Now, here it gets shorter again because, come on, chapter 177 gave us such a good POV on him! Though if the whole story was from his perspective, we’d deffinitelly get so much more! The utter sense of betrayal when his father after years of his hard work decided to abandon him as an heir, the overwhelming desire to at least match his brother, to at least be on equal grounds with him and then the crushing defeat when he realized he could never be like him, his lifespawn was running thin and his brother would probably surpass him even in that. He became a demon for the sole purpose of besting his brother and yet, he was never able to. As an unfulfilled revenge, his brother died before Kokushibou could strike him down. And now fast-forward some time and he’s stuck babysitting supposedly some of the strongest demons except they constantly bicker about petty things, can’t respect authority or in some cases get scared so easily he has to wonder how did they get there in the first place. His own descendant tries to kill him and refuses his offer to join Muzan’s side. And he dies because of a moment of weakness, bested once again, never to live to see the day when he would truly be the most powerful swordsman like was his life-long dream.
Or let’s take a look at Kaigaku. Working his ass off his whole life only to be constantly compared to a weak coward like Zenitsu who couldn’t even show their elder any proper respect. He couldn’t manage to master the first breath of thunder technique no matter how hard he tried and that alone was the reason why his teacher didn’t see him as any better than Zenitsu – someone who never learnt more than one technique! He was finally somewhat appreciated by Kokushibou. That was literally the first person ever to see him as a strong opponent. A demon who originally came to kill him. And he died by the hands of that very same weakling who was the cause of his troubles his whole life.
I could go on and talk about Tamayo, Yushiro, Susamaru, Yahaba, the swamp demon trio, Nakime... I’ll save these for when Nakime’s backstory is revealed and possibly when we get more details on Tamayo and Yushiro. There should also be the replacement upper moon five so let’s wait for that guy.
Side note: I’m purposedly emitting Nezuko since 1) she’s not a standard demon in the series and 2) she’s one of the main protagonists so we already see the story from her perspective about as much as we see it from Tanjiro’s.
Rewatch: Mahou Tsukai Precure Ep 2
Tumblr media
For the record, I am always going to be that little girl excited to go magic school for the first time.
You won’t take that away from me, EVAH!
Hello, hello again and welcome to episode 2 of our rewatch marathon!
Unfortunately (or fortunately, hahaha), I couldn’t make it shorter since I have to talk about everything but I did finish it by Sunday so yay~!
Oh, and I’m going to switch to using the terms “witch/wizard” in place of “mage” from now on. The rough translation of “魔法使い” (mahoutsukai) is literally “magic user” but it can also be exchanged with words like “mage”, “sorcerer”, “magician” so technically, it’s not wrong. “Witch” and “wizard” can also have more specific translations ( (魔女, majo & 魔道士, madoushi, respectively) but I still feel they’re more appropriate for MahoPre’s setting. It just depends how you interpret the context, I guess.
Tumblr media
Starting with the Snailiner.
I mean, it’s a giant snail train transporting you between worlds.
That’s so friggin’ awesome!! *squees* xDD
Tumblr media
And here are our Muggle newbies, taking in the inter-realm sights for all its worth.
But that’s not as important as OMGERD, Mofurun’s lil’ tail twitching in wonder and curiosity! KYAAAAA~!!!
Tumblr media
Mofurun smooshing her nose to the glass to get a closer look~!!
SO BABEY, IT HURTS!!!!
(੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡
Tumblr media
Riko, however, is eager to get down to business and tries to get an answer on how Mofu-chan came to life...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But these two are just too happy that they can talk to each other now that they don’t really care about the whys or the whats of the hows and UGH!
My heart! *clutches chest*
♡(。>ˇ艸<)
God, we know Mirai has probably been talking to Mofurun since she could first utter words (and likely baby gabbled to her before that, too) but imagine how long that wait must have been for Mofurun! Never knowing if there will ever be chance for her to tell Mirai know how much she loves her and everything!
I’m so happy Mofu-baby got her wish in the end! <3
Tumblr media
Oh, Riko...
You’re in for a lot of these non-answers, I’m afraid. (^ ^ ;;)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next is Mirai’s turn to ask the questions and of course, she wants to know what Precure is.
We already know how this goes as a yearly tradition but it’s interesting how centuries/extensively long periods of time can embellish a legend so much that it differs significantly from how it was originally told or what it actually means.
The way Riko explains it, it’s as if Precure has appeared in the world before when in reality, Mirai and Riko are in fact the very first Precure (in this universe).
The conditions match up because (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD):
1) The “magic” (Precure) Mother Rapapa mentioned before her passing will occur when the two worlds come together again. Cue a person from the Mundane World (Mirai) meeting and teaming up with a person from the Magic World (Riko) to fulfill that prophecy. Also note that before these two, no pair like them has ever showed up since Mother Rapapa’s death even though the Magic World has already found ways to travel to the Mundane World and back long ago.
2) Mother Rapapa’s powers are implied to take on the form of Linkle Stones. That said, they disappeared when she did...until they reappeared with the arrival of Precure. We can take that to mean that Precure are the inheritors of Rapapa’s will, to reunite the separate worlds.
3) The birth of Ha-chan, Mother Rapapa’s reincarnation, happened after Mirai and Riko became Precure together.
So really, if I’m getting this right, we might have three versions of this legend: the one that is the most commonly known but not exactly correct [Riko’s version]; the one which is told by the oldest fairies/magical beings who lived in the time when Mother Rapapa was still alive and the world was still one [the original]; finally, the one that’s happening before our eyes where the connection and bond forged between Mirai and Riko can bring about miracles, such as the return of Mother Rapapa through Ha-chan [the true version].
The fact that Deusmast’s revival coincides with these events are anything but coincidental. Mother Rapapa knew she was going to have to face it again so it’s not a stretch to say she might have planned for her own rebirth in the present day to prepare for that.
Two girls who can bring the two worlds together will become Precure, wielders of Mother Rapapa’s powers. Said two girls will also raise and look after her future self, Kotoha, before she’s ready to face her true purpose. When the two worlds are in sync again and Kotoha accepts her role as a divine existence, then, combined with the gathered Linkle Stones and the extra support of Precure and every living being on planet earth, the reborn Mother Rapapa can finally be summoned in her full might to confront and defeat Chaos once and for all.
......or at least, that’s how I’m interpreting it as of this moment. I may have gotten few details wrong but see, this is why I need to do a rewatch. To find out how on or far off the mark I am.
I’m really liking this theory, though, cuz it just makes too much sense! compared to the crazy ones I normally make anyways, lol xD;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Erhem, alright a break from the wall of text.
Mirai is like “Wow, that’s pretty cool!” because it’s not every day you’ve acquired abilities only found in stories and tales while Riko is like...
Tumblr media
“Wait...wut?” *PROCESSING*
And then...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Proceeds to probably have one of the biggest revelations of her life and goes all creepy smiley about it.
lol, oh, Riko. You’re scaring me, darling. (^ ^ ;;)
Tumblr media
But jokes and laughs aside, you can see the differences between their personalities in these few seconds.
Riko wants to be recognized and respected so badly as a proper witch that she’ll even settle for using a shortcut through the Emerald or simply bearing the title of Precure to get there. Despite the fact that neither of those are synonymous with the credit and skill earned from hard work. In other words, she’d only be a witch in name and nothing more. It’s not truly her magic.
However, from Riko’s standpoint, you have to understand why she’s desperate. She’s got poor marks in the most essential subject for magic users and thinks something’s wrong with her because of that. She can’t handle her embarrassment from that ineptitude and if she’s tried everything already and nothing works, then she’s going to have to resort to more outrageous methods to get out of the dilemma she’s in.
This logic is filled with flaws and it’s terribly worrisome but Riko, if anything, is determined to make something of herself. She may have fallen down more times than she can count but she always made herself stand up.
It’s hard not to cheer for her and want her to succeed.
Tumblr media
Mirai, in comparison, seems more naive and simple-minded.
Riko’s excitement is not something she can comprehend right now because for one thing, she’s never had to shoulder the angst that comes with not being able to fulfill expectations that is, until the epilogue.
But rather than see this as a bland aspect of her character, we should appreciate that Mirai is a very stable, positive and warm person.
When Riko couldn’t deal with the frustration over her own perceived failures, Mirai never judged her for what she could or couldn’t do. She still wholeheartedly accepted Riko, unfailingly believed that Riko can achieve great things and still saw Riko as the most amazing witch she’s ever come across. Yes, even though there were more accomplished magic users she’s met since coming over to the Magic World, the one Mirai continued to admire and wanted to get close to the most was Riko.
It’s true that for a majority of the season, Mirai played more of supporting role to Riko at times and didn’t have any personal wish other than wanting to stay together with her beloved friends. Nevertheless, she’s always immensely cherished by the people around her for who she is. Especially Riko, who really needed someone like Mirai in her life. That Mirai places those she loves above any great ambition and later goes on to chase a dream of rejoining the two worlds so everyone can be happy together, it really proves how purely wonderful she is as a person.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s cute. 8D
I’d be lying if I wasn’t reminded of Harry Potter when I saw this because it did.
But this is a magical girl anime where almost everything is cutesy-fied so I’m obliged to scream when I see something I think is cute! xD;
Tumblr media
This time, it’s Riko’s turn to treat Mirai to food!
Awesome! I like to believe they do this all the time. Riko takes care of everything when they visit the Magic World and Mirai provides when they’re in the Mundane World.
A part of their relationship that’s always balanced no matter what.
Ha-chan and Mofurun don’t have to pay, though, cuz they babies and it’s okay for their mommies to spoil them~ <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shivery Mofu-baby~
lol, she even goes to touch it a second time like “Brrr~, this is chilly, but one more cuz it’s gives me the tingles, bRrRrRr~!!”
xDDD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That looks sooooo cool!
I love mandarin oranges and I’ve ate them slightly chilled before. They’re great.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But eating one in this manner? I wanna try, I wanna try!
Tumblr media
FEED DA TINY BEAR
( ☉ω⊙)
Tumblr media
(๑ˊ͈ ॢꇴ ˋ͈)〜♡॰ॱ
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mirai’s so enjoying every moment of this impromptu trip and Riko’s quite satisfied that she can impress someone for once.
But then there’s that dreaded crunching noise and, well...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The mouth can’t lie while eating, after all, lol.
Tumblr media
Ok, Riko’s faces are the best.
She went from “Are you serious, don’t make me look bad, plz” to “Shoot, these are hard as rocks, oh no, how do I protect my vulnerable image in front of this Muggle?! *sweats*”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end, she dodged it with tsun, hahaha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So they finally arrive in the Magic World and frankly, it’s a beautiful place. Is every piece of land a floating island?! I want to live there! :D
Also, yes, while StarPre did take extra steps in worldbuilding, there are few things you gotta remember:
1) MahoPre aired before StarPre did, so it should be expected for later seasons to improve on what their predecessors brought to the table. Seeing as MahoPre and StarPre had the same series coordinator, Isao Murayama, I’d say he definitely got better when it came to this topic.
2) MahoPre only had one foreign world in its setting while StarPre had many planets since it dealt with space.
3) MahoPre still did what a lot of other Precure seasons opted not to do: give the main characters free access to explore and learn about other worlds.
Seriously, the “fantasy land seized by darkness/evil and needs to be saved by girls from another dimension” plot is present in almost every installation of this tv franchise that it’s just refreshing to not be restricted by those limits for once.
I could go on but I think I’ve made my point. :P
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Riko said the Magic Academy is at the center of the Magic World. So does that mean it’s the highest authority on all matters regarding magic? Because I don’t recall anything about the Magic World having an actual government.
Well, anyways, I suspect that all the students’ wands are registered with the school otherwise that’d be a huge security risk if anyone can just open the gate with a simple spell. (o_o ;;)
Oh, and look, it’s the kitty from Riko’s metro pass! :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Same, Mirai.
SAAAAAAAMMMMMMMEEEEEE
Tumblr media
SUUUUURRRREEE, WE’LL SEE ABOUT THAT
8P
Tumblr media
Here’s MahoPre’s version of McGonagall. Strangely enough, we never got a name for her. Same for the Headmaster. They were always addressed as just their faculty names.
Anyways, she’s as stern and strict as you’d expect of any teacher but even so, I don’t find her disapproval towards Riko’s actions to be too unfair or too harsh.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean, c’mon, if you were in her position and found out that one of your students broke a bunch of rules overnight only for them to come back with an outsider and this explanation, wouldn’t you react the same way she did?
The lady’s just doing her job.
Plus, her anger is justified because not only did Riko break the rules and exposed their kind but she could’ve really gotten hurt out there all by herself as well. Riko didn’t even bring any money with her for food, for crying out loud.
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, Riko, as much as I’d like to give in to those puppy dog eyes (aaaahhhh, don’t look at me like that, you cutie~!), the professor’s right about this one.
Still, all things considered, she doesn’t outright expel Riko. Not because she doesn’t have that authority, I don’t think (that lies with the Headmaster), but it seems to me she might’ve wanted to find an alternative punishment as expulsion might be too cruel.
She even gave Riko fair warning not to leave the room until she found the Headmaster to discuss what to do next and when she saw Riko running around campus later despite that order, she freaked out in concern.
“Do you want to be expelled, Riko-san?!”
So yea, I’'d like to believe the Deputy Headmistress, at least, didn’t want to send Riko packing for home if it could be helped.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That done and said, it probably hit Mirai just how much trouble Riko’s in right now. Sure, Riko leaving school at night without permission is her own responsibility to bear and the same goes for bringing Mirai back to the Magic World with her when she shouldn’t have.
But still, Mirai being here is a violation of the Magic World at large. If she were aware of that, maybe she wouldn’t have gone with Riko in the first place (noooo!) so that Riko wouldn’t have to face possible expulsion.
Fortunately, Riko’s a sensible girl and knows Mirai isn’t in the wrong. It was she who wanted to prove herself, after all. She was just too blinded by her hopes to think about the consequences.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And so she revealed to Mirai that she’s actually a remedial student.
Like, Riko’s quite upset about the circumstances as it is but she still has it in her to be decent and honest with Mirai on her reasons for going to the Mundane World. It’s the least she could do for getting Mirai involved in magical affairs and taking her all the way here.
The search for the Emerald, suddenly becoming Precure, all these things were to show everyone that she can use magic effectively.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Riko’s pretty much reiterating what I said earlier in the post but I don’t think she really understood the full extent of it. At least, not yet.
She still wants the Emerald, of course, because her wish to be a great witch hasn’t changed.
She just realizes that yea, she broke the rules and no Emerald is going to excuse her out of the scolding she’s in for.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then Mofurun decides to rolypoly on over to poor, depressed Riko and goes “SO WHAT? LOOK AT ME, I’M ADORABLE!!”
lol, j/k, j/k, she really said “I smell something sweet!” which was followed be this...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Riko and Mirai’s Diamond pendants glowing~
...honestly, they should’ve just let Mofurun do the explaining to the Deputy Head cuz it seems that every time Mofurun is within range of a Linkle Stone and announces its presence (“A sweet smell!”), they automatically start shining and voila~, the legend is real!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ah, but really, Mofurun seems to be telling the girls to not sweat the small stuff.
Why? Cuz...
DESTINY!!!
......lol, yea, Mofurun knows Mirai and Riko are in for something greater than this little snag in the road and just wants to let them know to cheer them up.
And hey, she’s right. :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It got Mirai motivated, at least, to go and explain things to the Headmaster herself. Maybe if a Muggle can prove she performed magic as Precure, they’d let Miko off the hook because then they’d realize she was telling the truth.
Tumblr media
Again, Riko is surprised by the lengths Mirai’s willing to go for her. They can’t really be called strangers anymore after all that’s happened but they haven’t known each other long enough (it hasn’t even been 24 hrs yet!) that they can call each other friends yet either.
So why Mirai’s doing this, when there aren’t a lot benefits for her, simply baffles Riko.
*whispers* That’s what a best friend is, Riko-chan~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Mirai, of course, doesn’t know her way around the school, much less who the Headmaster is or what he looks like, but that’s okay because she’s sooooo cute! x3
And maybe it’s a good thing this happened during spring break? Otherwise, she’d be catching the attention of the other students and faculty and she’d have a hard time getting to where she needed to go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like this when a breeze just drifted through the air and she suddenly got a feeling that she’s gotta go THAT way.
Humuhumu...yea, I don’t think it’s just the Precure powers that’s at work here. Mirai does have innate magical abilities of her own.
I’ve got a theory on that based on some MahoPre trivia I read, about the scratched concept of her having magical ancestors, but I’ll save that for another time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right, where were we? Oh, yes, the wind led her to a tree.
It looks like any ordinary tree but by judging by the way Mirai gazes up at it, something tells her it’s really more than that.
See? That’s her intuition. The magical side of it, anyways.
Tumblr media
And whaddaya know, the wind led her to the person she wanted to find, too!
‘Course she doesn’t think he’s the Headmaster at first glance and who can blame her when he’s wearing a face that young.
Tumblr media
But she’s not even thinking about the Headmaster at that point because did he just say wands? He said wands, right?
Yep, she’s got her priorities sorted out, haha~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back in the classroom, Riko’s lost in her thoughts and can’t really forget how Mirai’s been nothing but friendly to her since the moment they met.
So even though Riko finds this devotion weird, she still can’t help but worry about her and decides it’s not good to just let Mirai wander off by herself when she doesn’t even know her way around.
Kyuuu~, I love it when Riko shows her soft side, especially when it’s about Mirai. She’s always like “まったく ...” in an exasperated way but gives in because she knows she can’t win against Mirai’s niceness and that just brings out her own niceness, d’aww~ <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now back to Mirai where she’s getting quite a fascinating lesson about wands. How every time someone is born in the Magic World, a Wand Tree immediately grows one out to give to that baby, how that’s the wand they use for life, etc.
That’s such a cool birth certificate! Can I trade mine in for a wand of my own?!
xD;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’d hold that thought, Gramps.
A Muggle isn’t just drawn to a specific Wand Tree for no reason.
Maybe the reason why it hasn’t generated any new wand for ages is because it was waiting for someone like Mirai, a resident of the other world, to show up.
Tumblr media
But as expected of the Headmaster, he could immediately tell Mirai’s not from their world and asks what she’s doing here.
Tumblr media
Mirai tells him she needs to find the Headmaster and the way she holds Mofurun tighter to her (KYAAAAA~!!!) when the subject turns over to Riko says a lot about how she can’t let Riko’s life get ruined just because she broke a few rules.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not when Riko saved what was most important to her. To the world, it might have been nothing but a small gesture of kindness but that same gesture is what meant the world to Mirai.
That’s why she has to return the favor to Riko. Riko helped her and now it’s her turn and that means...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAUSE.
Please take a moment to squee at rolypoly Mofurun part 2 first.
........
We good? Okay, back to regular programming...
Tumblr media
DEUS EX MACH-I’M KIDDING~
These are Wand Trees so I’m sure they’re sentient and can sense the sincerity in Mirai’s words along with her magic potential.
For that...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She gets her very own wand!
*gasp* And oh my, what a pretty wand it is! It suits my baby very well!
I am very pleased! 8D
Tumblr media
Not only is Mirai sincere, she’s well-mannered as well.
And Mofurun, too. What good children they are. :D
Tumblr media
The magic tree just granted her something meant to conjure magic with.
What do you think she’s going to do with it if not that? Use it as a back scratcher?!
That aside, I forgot about this. So it was the supernatural forces that dictated Mirai should be allowed into the magic realm and not because of the Headmaster’s decision.
I like that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then Batty shows up and starts destroying everything in search for them and Mirai immediately leaves to go find Riko.
I’m not sure if it’s because she knows she needs to be with Riko in order to transform into Precure or if she’s simply worried about Riko or both or what. But Mirai doesn’t even think twice about the dangers of facing Batty alone when a person she cares about is somewhere in the crossfire.
Tumblr media
And it’s so clear that Mirai cares about the world Riko comes from. Not just because it’s Riko’s school and home but also because she has great respect for magic users in general.
She’s dreamed of meeting them for a long time and though they’re hesitant to welcome her because she’s a normal human (aka not like them), that doesn’t stop her from doing what’s right. When Batty tries to order her around, she defiantly (and G-ratedly) flips him off for all the havoc he’s making.
Yep, she’s not afraid of the bad guys, my brave little girl~ <3
Tumblr media
Riko’s timing and aim are impeccable as always, lol
She’s almost like a human missile! xD;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s right you did, Riko! And you did a splendid job, bravo! *clapclapclap*
Mirai’s just relieved that Riko’s unharmed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean, if Riko’s still giving tsundere service, then she’s definitely alright, ahahaha~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See?
Riko can’t win against Mirai when she smiles at her like that~
Blushy Riko is so...too...adorable for words! x3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then they hold hands and yea, you know what happens afterwards.
Tumblr media
Frankly, the fight in this ep wasn’t any better or different than the first one and only a few short moments are worth mentioning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like Miracle trying her best to not let any more damage come to the school and crashing to the ground because of it.
Even though things will go back to normal, with no signs of a battle ever happening there, after they get rid of the Yokubaru and all (but then again, they didn’t know that...did they??)
She’s too nice, jeez...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Magical checking if her partner is okay and Miracle brushing it off like “Whoopsie!”
Tumblr media
And Magical getting irritated again but whup, no time for that, gotta protect Miracle!
Haha~!! xDD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyways, the biggest moment that needs to be discussed is this one when Magical’s almost doubting whether saving the school’s worth it since she’s in for expulsion anyway because she disobeyed the Deputy Headmistress.
Hmmm, I’m not criticizing her or calling her self-centered or anything. It’s just that it’s obvious Riko has weighed herself down with too many negative thoughts that it’s hard for her to see there’s still something she can do.
She’s Precure now so regardless of whether she gets expelled or not, she’s one of the only people there who can stand up to that monster.
Tumblr media
And like Miracle said, nothing has been decided yet. They can still persuade the Headmaster to let Riko stay at school.
If they don’t at least try, then it’s guaranteed they’ll only get nothing out of it.
And that’s hardly the ending anyone wants, right?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whatever the outcome may be, Mirai’s determined to do her best for Riko. If it’s too much for Riko to bear alone, Mirai will be there to support her.
Riko calls Mirai a busybody for this but you can tell by her expression that she’s really grateful Mirai talked her out of giving up.
Tumblr media
Even Mofurun’s happy, perched up on high~
<D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then they get their Linkle Sticks and perform Diamond Eternal for the first time and blow the monster away, yay, all’s well that ends well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, almost.
Thankfully, the Headmaster witnessed everything that transpired, sparing them from any need to explain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And not only does Riko get to stay at school (whoohoo~!) but now Mirai will be attending classes with her as well!
I guess there are endings where all’s well that ends better, after all, huh? Hehehe~
And that’s all for this week. Will try to get ep 3 by next Sunday. Bye for now~
Pinky Promise
So I see a lot of au’s where Kotoha lives, but stays with Douma and never sees the carnage he causes.
So, this oneshot kinda explores what would happen if Kotoha escaped unscathed that night. If she had stayed on the road, running till daybreak. Unknowingly missing the human village, instead running even further to a specific house.
What if, Kotoha Hashibira, became a Demon Slayer?
Words: 1821
--
Through all the abuse and manipulation, from the deepest parts of her memory, she knows she’ll never forget one thing. What had occurred on April 22nd.
The delivery lasted hours, but through the pain and tears, she won’t remember it as a bad thing.
No, not even close.
She’ll remember it as the day it changed her.
--
At a mere seventeen banking on eighteen girl, she had married young, desperate for a family. Her family had been killed by what the locals thought was a bear, and Kotoha Hashibira found herself all alone.
She made one error, unfortunately, and that was marrying too quickly. Too fast. The man seemed so perfect and loving, and while his mother was stern and icy, he seemed wonderful.
That quickly changed, however.
She found it hopeless to escape, not finding a way to run. But nine months into the marriage, she gave birth. She cried tears of joy, finding her son to have little to no attributes from his father.
“Inosuke,” she whispered. “My little Inosuke.”
He gave her a reason to keep going, to stay hopeful and face the horrors of the day with a brave face.
And then she remembers the night she did escape.
With only the clothes on her back, she had managed to wrap Inosuke’s favorite blanket around him. The night was treacherous, winter just settling in and snow caking the ground like powder. But no matter how cold it got, no matter how tired she was, she kept running with her one-month-old son in her arms.
She remembered hearing about a paradise, a place where you could escape to when you had nowhere else.
That was her other error.
Douma was a wonderful host. She saw the magic he performed personally, as he healed her from her partial blindness, her scars, everything she had accumulated. He called her beautiful. He treated her like a goddess.
She stayed.
She didn’t realize how much of a trophy Douma saw her as. And as she sang, took care of her son, sat side-by-side with Douma, made people happy. She didn’t know the real horrors of the cult she had found herself in. She only had unconfirmed suspicions filtered out by her own bias. People were disappearing, but Douma said they left for brighter pastures. Why would she have any reason to not believe him, when he took her and her son in from the cold?
The suspicions grew, no matter how much she thought otherwise. The feeling in her gut made her feel more uneasy as the days wore on.
--
The stench was pungent, nauseating, revolting.
She had awoken, taking Inosuke in her arms to look for the source. Perhaps someone hunted? Yes, yes, that had to be the--
“Oh, Kotoha, you weren’t supposed to see this,” Douma said smoothly, wiping the blood from his lips. Kotoha stood, heart palpitating, hyperventilation threatening to begin. On the ground was an acquaintance, the friendly Aki, dead in a puddle of her own blood.
“You…” Kotoha breathes in, stomach churning. “You monster!”
“Kotoha, listen to me, my b--”
“I will have none of it! You spouted nothing but horrible lies! You planned to eat me! You planned to eat Inosuke! Fiend! You awful, awful man!”
Kotoha didn’t listen to what Douma had to say next. She ran once more, with only the clothes on her back.
She had fallen for another man’s tricks again. Not only putting herself in danger, but Inosuke, too. Tears threatened to build.
“I’m so sorry, Inosuke. I’m sorry mommy’s stupid! I always make mistakes, I always go the wrong way! Sorry, I’m so sorry… I’m your mother, I need to keep it together.”
Inosuke just babbled, only knowing his mother was upset, but not of the danger that followed behind. She ran and ran until day broke just behind the trees. She hadn’t realized she lost Douma hours ago.
“Please, pleasepleaseplease, I can’t lose my son,” Kotoha cries to herself, holding him closer to her chest. “I can’t die!”
The first house she saw she practically flung herself at it, banging at the gate with a terrified fist.
“Please! Please, oh please let us in! Please! We’re being chased by a cannibal!” Kotoha wails, slamming her fist faster. “Please, open up!”
It was met with succession.
An old woman opened the gate, and Kotoha ran inside, the woman closing the gate behind her. The old woman had long graying hair, soft blue eyes and a purple kimono.
“A cannibal?” the old woman questions as Kotoha dashes up the steps of the Japanese house.
“Ye-yes, I just saw him eat another with my own eyes, oh goodness please let us stay at least the night.”
The old woman took pity on her, and let her inside.
“I’m sorry to tell you this, but that wasn’t a cannibal. You probably saw the workings of a demon.”
“A… a what?” Kotoha asks, panting as the adrenaline wears off. The woman guides her over into the kitchen, having her sit at the kotatsu. Kotoha refuses to put Inosuke down, so she keeps him close to her. The woman starts brewing some tea, placing the kettle over the fire.
“A demon. You don’t know where you are, child?”
Kotoha shakes her head slowly. Inosuke snoozes in her arms.
“You’re in a Wisteria House. The crest you saw out front marks this place as a sanctuary for demon hunters, from the Demon Slayer Corps. I usually only provide to demon hunters, but considering you were being chased by a demon, I hold no problem taking you in for a while.”
Kotoha feels tears build up in her eyes, and she bows her head.
“Thank you so much. But, what is a demon?”
“A demon is someone that has been infected by a demon’s blood and turned into a blood-thirsty monster. They’re usually unintelligent, only looking for, well…”
Kotoha nods, sniffling.
“This demon wasn’t unintelligent though.”
The old woman frowns.
“Oh my… I’m glad I let you in.”
The old woman doesn’t elaborate, which Kotoha is quite thankful for. All she wanted to focus on was Inosuke.
“If you only provide for free for demon hunters, then I’m willing to work here,” Kotoha speaks quietly.
“Are you sure? It’s a lot of hard work, plus you have a babe.”
“I don’t want to be a burden. Inosuke is very well-behaved for a one month old, he’s so sweet to me.” Kotoha beams down at her son, kissing his forehead. The woman hums.
“Well, I’m Himari. What is your name, child?”
“Kotoha. Thank you again for taking us in.” Kotoha bows her head once more, which Himari replicates.
--
For the next few weeks, Himari helped Kotoha settle in along with Inosuke. Kotoha had been right about one thing; Inosuke was surprisingly well-behaved for a baby. He slept through the night, never made a real fuss even when he was hungry or his diaper needed changing. He seemed to really love silk and velvet, the birds chirping in the morning, books, a boar plush his mother made, and hearing his mother sing their special song.
“Pinky promise, pinky promise, such small hands you have~”
It warms Himari’s heart, hearing her sing it when it was bedtime for Inosuke. The lyrics changed almost every night, but every word was meaningful.
Kotoha learned more of the Wisteria Houses, and Himari herself. Himari was going to turn sixty-three soon, but had the energy of a twenty-year-old. All her immediate family lived far away, but her extended family was large. So large, Wisteria Houses basically spanned the whole country. It was fascinating.
About a month into Kotoha’s stay, a group of demon slayers led by the Flame Pillar came to stay at the Wisteria House.
“Mr. Rengoku, may I ask you something?” Kotoha asks before bed. Shinjuro Rengoku gives the woman a curious look as he wipes his blade down with a cloth. “I’m curious as to what demon slaying is like, can you tell me about it?”
Shinjuro was surprised that she wanted to know in the first place. After all, she looked like a gentle nadeshiko; she even reminded him of his wife. But he answered her question anyway; if she wanted to know, he wasn’t going to discriminate against her for it.
“It’s hard, you may have to leave home for months at a time, and there’s a large possibility you can die.”
“Then why did you join, Mr. Rengoku?”
Shinjuro pauses.
“My family goes generations back for Flame Breathing, but I also found it’d be worth it to save people and keep them from the dark.”
Kotoha listens intently, her usual kind face into more of an unreadable expression.
Shinjuro wouldn’t find out until years later why she asked. Himari found out immediately, after the group went to sleep.
“Himari, I want to learn how to be a demon slayer.”
The old woman nearly drops her pot of water, looking at Kotoha incredulously.
“Koto-- why?”
Kotoha glares at the wood of the kotatsu.
“I’m sick and tired of being a defenseless woman who doesn’t know what she’s doing. I want to be able to protect my son and make a world where he doesn’t have to be scared to go out at night. I want to be stronger, I want to help people.”
Himari looks at Kotoha, her incredulous look fading.
“Are you sure, Kotoha? Demons are dangerous, I’ve especially heard the Final Selection is ruthless; you’re either alive or you’re dead when you come out.”
Kotoha gazes at the bassinet which holds a sleeping Inosuke.
“I’ll take my time. And I know it’ll be hard, much harder than anything I’ve faced. But it’ll be worth it.”
Himari stares silently at Kotoha, and then gives a weak smile.
“I know someone who can teach you, then. I’m willing to also help take care of Inosuke, too.”
Kotoha looks at Himari, smiling as tears stream down her eyes.
“Thank you, Himari. Thank you so much.”
--
This is where it all began.
Kotoha stands outside of the Wisteria House, looking much different, more older. She now had the Demon Slayer Corps uniform on, a long blue haori with light yellow bell patterns decorating it. Every step she took, the actual bells sewn into a red bracelet on her left wrist tinkled softly. She opens the gate, a smile on her face. She’d be getting her Nichirin blade soon.
“Mama!” Inosuke cries. She had been gone for only a week, but for five year old Inosuke, it felt like forever. The small boy runs over to her, and she crouches as she hugs him close, stroking his hair.
Himari watches from the porch, smiling proudly at the mother and son.
“I told you I’d be back, my little dragonfly,” Kotoha laughs, kissing his forehead. “I pinky promised it, after all.”
This is where it all began.
For the Bell Pillar, Kotoha Hashibira.
Ryuunosuke has PTSD (Finale)
Here we are ladies and gentlemen, we are in the final part of this Shinken Theory. After Episode 35 incident, Ryuunosuke is now fine, healthy and is happier from just being himself. But when (SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN SHINKENGER) Princess Kaoru automatically barges in and takes over as Shinken Red, everyone was not satisfied by the results. From episode 46, Mako, Chiaki and Kotoha ran off to save Takeru from being suicide. But what happened to our blue hero? Why didn’t he ran with the other three? Well, we’re going to find out in this finale theory!
Warning: This is just a theory. None of these are taken to be seriously! And enjoy the finale of this theory 😉
Episode 47:
Tumblr media
Ryuunosuke remained in the Shiba Mansion as he really felt his whole world is crumbling down. He seems torn down between his genuine friendship with Takeru/teammates and being loyal as a Shinkenger. He wanted to cry so hard and let his negative emotions take over his true self as he felt he didn’t know himself anymore and he nearly became depression. Luckily, a kuroko tells him that he should just go after to save Takeru. Who is that? It was a fisherman from episode 7, in which Ryuunosuke is surprised by that fact.
Tumblr media
The now kuroko told the blue hero that he now has his own choices. Ryuunouske brushes it off like nothing happened just like he did in early episodes. The blue hero even said that he followed the traditional way since he was born but he is still very uncomfortable when he said those words and you can tell he really didn’t want to cry in front of someone else who helped him gettting the Kajiki origami.
Tumblr media
But, the kuroko said Ryuunosuke is the one who told him about fighting alongside the one (Takeru) who he has been through (and got helped) in just one year. This gives the blue hero realizing he has been recovered from his PTSD issue and has become his own man thanks to Takeru (who helped him unintentionally though).
Tumblr media
The kuroko said no one is a dog to choose who is their lord. In that meaning, he meant, you may be born in the lineage of warriors but you can change your own destiny and not follow someone’s else steps. This allows Ryuunosuke to finally choose what he should do immediately.
Tumblr media
While Takeru is still stuck in the ring of fire (while Juuzo is being defeated), the red hero noticed Ryuunosuke with much darker expression who managed to save him from burning in ‘hell’.
Tumblr media
After Chiaki punched Takeru, Ryuunosuke called the red hero by his normal name instead of tono. He said that he may have to follow the princess by his lineage which is true but he has only one true leader which is Takeru due to his genuine friendship. In alternate words, this time he wants to help Takeru to overcome his issue since Takeru (unintentionally) helped him get rid of his PTSD issue.
Tumblr media
He even assures to Takeru that everyone else (Kotoha mentioned Hikoma and Genta) is also supporting Takeru as their lord. He smiled as his way of ‘thank you for helping me to overcome my mental health issue’.
From this episode and the last two episodes, Ryuunosuke has finally recovered from his PTSD self and is able to relax for the first time. His PTSD symptoms are gone and during later crossovers, he is now much more of himself and is no longer scared. This proves once PTSD people are recovered, they can go back to their normal self and not have to worry about everything else.
Okay, in short form. Thank you for reading the 6 part of this Shinken Theory. You don’t have to support this theory if you disagree with me. But, hey, what do you want to know? It’s Shinken Theory! A Shinken Theory (borrow from MatPat). See you guys later, bye! 😉
Rat Recommends: Free Otomes
Here’s some cute FREE otome games that can be found on PC. Note that each game you play as a female. In no particular order.
Tumblr media
1.   Blossoms Bloom Brightest
 Steam? Yes
So technically this is a demo for the non-free game Galaxy Girls (which I haven’t played yet but for some reason everyone has huge boobs now), but this still has two (decently) cute routes with two girls in space. Though one route and LI definitely overshadows the other, seriously it’ll take you two seconds to realize the one chick has some errr issues. Overall the premise is pretty interesting, you’re a space captain on ship with two other girls.  One downside is that you can’t change your girl’s name which is a serious turn off for me in these types of games. Also, being a demo it’s pretty short, I finished both routes (both good and bad endings) in just under two hours.
Best girl? Kotoha duh
Tumblr media
2.      Cinderella Phenomenon
Steam? Yes
This game ended my life. It honestly blows me away at the fact that this game is free. The art, the story, the music, the characters are beautiful interesting and unique. There are 5 routes and each is very unique. The premise is that you are a princess and get involved with this fairy tale curse that causes you to be forgotten by pretty much everyone. Each route took me about two (fully well spent) hours to fully complete. The story fully gripped me and even managed to almost make me cry. I can’t recommend this one enough
 Best Boy? Karma
Tumblr media
3.      Seduce Me the Otome
Steam? Yes
OK if I’m being honest I’ve barely scratched the surface with this one. However, from what I’ve seen and heard its pretty darn good. There are NINE romance options (three of them being ladies~)! There’s voice acting which is always nice. UH not sure what else I can say right now other than the story seems pretty interesting. This game currently has a non-free sequel.
Best Boy/Girl? Ask me later
Tumblr media
4.      AIRIS
Steam? Yes
I literally played this game for ten minutes so can I even recommend this… well it shows potential from what I’ve seen. It’s fantasy which is always interesting. There’s 3 romance options (1 being female). What turned me off from playing this one thus far is that once again you can’t change the main characters name *SIGH*. I’ll play this one eventually once I get over that fact.
Best Boy/Girl? Probably Everea
Tumblr media
5)      Cute Demon Crashers
Steam? Nope
 This game is 18+ game with the ability to censor scenes and focuses on ‘consent and feeling safe in intimacy’ I’m sold. So basically main girl meets 4 succubi/incubi. Very cute very sweet very sexy. Seriously the creators even have a tumblr check them out and support them!
 Best Boy/Girl? Mirari
Cocytus || Chapter 4 Election
Within the living room are a number of familiar figures. Some you know from your own life. Others you know because they look so much like your fellow councilors. Some still remain completely unfamiliar to you. They sit around the living room, each entertaining themselves. Several have fallen asleep. Clotho and Lachesis, too, are in the room. It looks like Lacchi is playing on her Xbox Exvius with a young girl who strongly resembles Evren, while Clotho is amusingly watching a young man fall out of his chair. A robotic fox keeps watch from afar.
Perhaps you yell, perhaps you scream. Perhaps you try to leave the boat, only to find your efforts wasted due to the thick glass wall, reinforced and sturdy, pressing right against you. Perhaps you call for your loved one, shouting their name as you hope for them to notice you. None of it works. They never seem to see that you are right there.
“Antonio Rivera-Grace.” Atropos’ strong voice cuts through the sounds. “Princess Diamond of Cremoria. Ayame Watanabe. Misters Byeol and Ryeo. Kotoha Matsuba. Kasumi Wakaba.”
“Marisol Flores. Ryu Kioshi. Enji Imada. Sir Edgar Smythe.” Charon continues, rowing the boat past more and more individuals. “Bridgette Everett. Prince David Matan. KIT.”
“Princen Florien Castanea. Meifen Liu. Masa Ito. Former councilors Tomoe Umezawa and Shamsum-Nuha Hilal, accompanied by the latter’s husband, Arev Selardi.” She concludes.
That was all of them, all of the people (and one AI in a fox body) gathered within the room. What chilled you was that they even brought the loved ones of the people that already died. You’d suspected it, what with Florien delivering the news at the very beginning of the week, but how long had this particular motive been in the planning?
“Of course, they are perfectly safe up here. We have no intention of harming them directly, and no reason to kill them. They will not die by our hands.” It’s difficult to believe Atropos, but you have a sinking suspicion that she was telling the truth, and thus, there would be a twist. “However, whatever motive you settle on tomorrow will not be affecting you. No, this time, they will impact those living here instead. It could make their staycation quite... unpleasant.”
Atropos crosses her arms. “You are the ones with the world in your hands. It is time for you to exercise that responsibility over others. And yes, that includes the loved ones of our tragic councilors who have been unable to accompany us this far. Perhaps you’ll judge them less harshly than you did some of your peers?”
It felt too soon and too long, before the living room was out of sight, and you arrived at the bright exit of the Tunnel of Love. As the boat banks around the Tunnel of Love’s final corner, you see the four motive choices, illuminated before you at the exit like those balloons that usually say “thank you” as you leave:
Half-Empty, Half-Full
Memento Mori
Quarter Quell
Score To Settle
At least it didn’t seem like they were playing any obvious tricks on you this time. None of the choices looked particularly appealing though, especially since you knew what was at stake.
“We expect you to choose a new president by tomorrow morning. And later in the evening, we will gather for them to select your motive. Perks will be given to the president, of course. Feel free to discuss among yourselves who will be the next to represent the Council, and to devise your strategy going forwards. The two of us will be free, if you wish to curry favour.”
As the other host docks the boat, he also speaks, “If you want to come back and take a look at your loved ones, all you need is a Sea Ticket. Fat lot of good it’ll do you to see them again, but I’ve never been one for the sentiments. Maybe you’ll find something from looking at them enjoy their current stay aboard the Summit that I couldn’t.”
Atropos steps out first. “I shall be waiting in Spring’s Bounty in the morning. Consider your options wisely. You may not live to regret them.” She leaves.
Charon leans against his oar as he smiles. “Now buzz off, will you? The Splashpad’s closing for the night. Go have your discussions in the Hearth or something.”
Tunnel of Love(d Ones) - Unlocked!
