The funny thing about certain pigments, the smell! Phthalo green dark smells like apple candy while purple violet smells sweet. Emerald hue smells like formaldehyde and indigo genuine smells like cow 💩. Lol a lot of the earth tones like the Mars line smell like iron and mud which makes the most sense.
