I just saw on twitter that the Korea Singers Association Chairman put out a statement asking that group to not go on a group hiatus FOR THE SAKE OF KOREA'S MUSIC INDUSTRY. Like WTF. I liked yet to come! I will fully and readily admit to not being drawn to slower or even mid-tempo songs as easily as I am to upbeat songs, so something like yet to come is never going to initially hit me as hard as something like run bts (which, side note, is bts’s newest addition to the SONGS TO CRASH YOUR CAR TO playlist that lives in my head and I should really make happen in reality). BUT I thought it was still a nice song, if a little boring. THAT BEING SAID I understand that I am not actually the target demographic for this song, it’s first and foremost a love letter to the long term fans which is great and I love it and applaud it, so I was never going to connect to it as deeply as someone who has been balls deep in bts for 9 years! I caught like maybe 60% of the references which for me is actually pretty good since I still haven’t actually listened to every single album or watched every single music video. Another thing that makes me very much not the target demo is that I never look up the lyrics to anything, regardless of artist or genre, and that extends to bts. Which is another reason that I connect to upbeat songs more easily, since I’m focused primarily on the sound of a song and not it’s lyrical content. I’m aware that this is a personal flaw and I’m working on it! Like I KNOW the lyrics are nice, I’ve seen them on captions of gifsets, and I know they would make me feel things, but there is a little demon inside of my head that’s like nah dude who cares about the lyrics just vibe. And I am powerless to resist that temptation!

IN SUMMARY TLDR this being a slower song + obviously made for dedicated fans who have consumed all of bts’s content + I never look up lyrics = I thought it was nice :) but I’m not going to be the one to get them to the fan streaming goal for it

ten small habits to start doing ♡

never go to the bathroom with your phone. It's gross , wastes time , and spreads germs.

are you a forgetful person? set alarms and reminders for things you need to do (drinking water , homework , showering, etc)

be kind! always say hi to people you know and smile at strangers. don't be afraid to compliment people too!!

cant be bothered exercising? try dancing instead. this could be learning a new dance , a Kpop choreography , literally anything!

put screen-time on your phone/devices. maybe start off with 10pm - 7am being the time that you shouldn't be on any devices, and then gradually increase it. it will help you be more productive and sleep better.

if you have a sweet tooth like me but are still trying to be healthy , try starting off the day with something sweet! fruits and oats , honey and porridge , french toast , pancakes , etc.

try cooking/baking/making something new each week. i allocate a Sunday each week to looking through a recipe book , walking down to a grocery store , coming back and baking something! cooking is a very helpful skill.

double cleanse your face every morning and night. even if you don't wear makeup , it helps get rid of any excess dirt and leaves your face fresh and clean!

when using skincare (more specifically moisturiser), never rub the product into your skin in a downward motion! it can drag your face down over time. try an upward or circular motion instead.

keep your house tidy , especially your room / workspace. tidy space = tidy mind.

Wouldn't it make more sense to either have given us 9 every round or at least have done the number of votes the other way? Like first round everyone just pick their favorite and they start... weeding out (such a horrible way to put it when talking about real people but...) the ones who are less popular. Then by the end we get 9 votes to pick our choice for debut group. Then it'd kinda how ranked choice voting works. Like I really want Hui Jongwoo and Gunwook. And someone else really wants Keita Jongwoo and Gunwook. Neither of us want Yujin. But we both vote for our top but for some reason neither gets in (I'll cry) but Yujin does. We could have both voted for Jongwoo and gotten at least our second choice and potentially not gotten the person neither of us wanted. By giving us more votes it means the final group is more likely to be made up of the most members most people want rather than splitting a vote so an over all less popular member gets in. Doesn't having the most over all popular members make more sense from a buisness stand point???
