Kpop Fic Recommendations

okay so this is just gonna be a blog compiling all of my favorite fics, aus, and oneshots of all time (that are on tumblr) and i will update it as time goes on

i will break it up between groups (i mainly just read ateez and skz fics though) i will also put warnings if needed :) let me know if i miss any warnings though!

ATEEZ Fic Recommendations

warnings: blood, wounds, in depth descriptions of injuries (both the characters and readers), guns & weaponry, just violence in general

by far this is my favorite ateez fic ive ever read its so well put together and thought out and the way she writes the characters and brings them to life is 😍😍

it is quite long but i promise you once you start reading you won't be able to stop, the character development and the readers role in the story is so fascinating i genuinely could not stop reading until i was finished

the ending is so beautiful as well GAHH i cannot recommend this fic enough guys 🙏🏻

K-Pop for Beginners

So a while back, I asked for k-pop recommendations (particularly up-beat dance-y type songs to jam to) and I got about 10-15 recommendations. I then did my own research into most popular/Korean pop songs sung in english that I could sing along to. Here are the songs I found that I liked the best. These songs are in my ever growing k-pop playlist on Apple Music and I have listened to them on repeat since I rediscovered “Gee” by Girls Generation (introduced to me by a friend wayyy back in high school!). Enjoy! These are all alphabetical for your OCD needs.

OHHH Weeekly's After School is one of my favorites!! Spotify recommended it to me and now every day I make it a point to listen to the song at least once. It may be a problem of mine, but I honestly am in love with it.

I really love Dynamite and Boy With Luv, actually! I think I got invested in the songs after I got the Just Dance 2023 edition and got Superstar on both (I'm still trying to go for Megastar). I just listened to Boy With Luv an hour ago on repeat until I realized I put it on a loop 😂😂😂

Everything else I have not heard of, though some of the bands I recognize! Thank you Anon!

I'm going to add the second ask you made too! You know, I was like man I swear I have heard of something like that title and when I looked it up I realized you were talking about Mystic Messenger, the otome game! While I never picked up the game, I do play an otome game and so I have heard of the game in passing.

I can't believe it took me such a long time to realize that Mystic Messenger is a Korean game! I guess I never really thought about it.

Also the music is a banger; I am reporting this as I listen to it right now in Korean. Thanks again for the recommendations!
