Poor Big this is gonna be a life-altering injury you don't even know but cool action sequence and Kinn is cool as hell.

Yes, Porsche rescue the handsome rich guy you never met from weapon-wielding thugs it’ll open up so many new avenues for you.

Uh peeing in bottles is kinda ew but also kinda cool how he then used it as a weapon…that’s gross-out damage on top of glass breaking,

getting scammed at the pawnshop is a mood, 

shitty uncles,

the first rule of fight club, 

and wtf never go to a second location Porsche! Not that you had much choice but this is how you get murdered,

Episode 3 Aka 

Porsche's training montage,

Soap operas versus porn with friends - the debate,

biglittle brother Kinn takes care of Khun, 

Kinns so gay Porsche how are you this dumb, 

Porsches first kill, 

Kinn hates seeing his future baby so upset over being a thug/murderer, 

OMG they're doing the injury care thing, 

Kinn you've got it bad already omg, 

Kinn showing he can be fun too and brings his stlyish rich pals out, 

bonding at the bar, 

WTF Arm that striptease with the drink what happened???,

 KP first kiss cute but kinda dubcon,

Spa day and ofc Kinn is magnetically and magically drawn to Porsche's location,

Pete youre too cute, 

Vegas meal showdown and wow that dramatic music, 

No Vegas you cant have Porsche Kinn…er…Tankhun says no lol. 

Auction wth are those glowy crystal ball things???, 

Vegas speaking English again,

Yes Tae he's a hearthob keep telling Kinn so he gets his head out of his ass, 

Also Tae that hair and outfit is smashing,

Porsche drugged by shitty bartender, 

Vegas playing games at the auction, 

noncon with Vegas thankgod it didnt go far,

dubcon with Kinn…but beautifully shot at least, 

drugged Porsche is cute but handsy and bratty…

THE AFTERMATH, Porsche you’re literally breaking my heart man you need to talk to somebody,

Kinn take responsibility and say the words! 

What you did to Porsche was wrong and skirting around it wont make it go away!

unfair punishment made me very uncomfortable, 

Perth and Nodt how do you do it??? Be so bad when youre IRL so good, 

although Big is still my love, 

trauma-porsche, 

the bathroom scene was so well done and edited but it broke my heart, 

friendPete giving advice and getting Porsche out of his shell, 

Nope your love life is now very decidedly stuck on THE ONE boys,

No more nameless bedwarmers (or alley warmers???)

dumbKinn is dumb and contradicts himself constantly, 

He’s so jealous but in this cae he’s right about Vegas that fucker,

Vegas drugs and assaults Porsche and has the nerve to hide behind anonymity and be this fakesweet good guyn to him

DumbKinn is also TryingKinn thanks to his dumb heart and Petes advice, 

Lol Jom and Tem ordering Kinn around and insulting him unknowingly had me dying,

and KP are kidnapped again,

That back of the truck chained fight scene was awesome!! Like the coordination and everything i had to watch it over and over and in slowmo,

Poor Big crashed and blames himself now its ok baby i love you.

Episode 6 Aka 

WHEN YOURE LOST DONT WANDER OFF STAY PUT EVERYONE KNOWS THIS, 

ok maybe hide a little because guys are after you but like you knew Chan etc were close so why wander a million miles away, 

but yes wander off so you can have a cute romantic camping trip handcuffed to your crush thats good,

 best episode by far i’m in love and will watch this on my deathbed

Their entire relationship journey redone and sped up in one episode

Start with antagonistic petty squabbles and posturing,

Becsome cute fighting and friendship/helping each other out,

Throw in some deep talks about life, childhood, fears, and dreams…ya know the big stuff,

Teaching eachother skills….well mostly Porsche teaching…and also teasing/flirting,

WTF Porsche with your damn lighter you asshole Kinn should be allowed to smack him for that one.

Random kisses and touches thrown in like theyre (mostly Kinn) trying to fight their love but just cant help it sometimes when their guard is down….like nope cant kiss him except uhoh i did it whoops lets just stop wth

Poor Apo was shivering in that waterfall guys that hug/kiss was lifesaving for body warmth,

Skull freaked Porsche out hes so cute,

Asleep inside the truck and Kinn’s content smile KILLED me thatw as the cutest everrrrr,

Also Kinn’s freaked face when he (stupidly) believed Porsche was poisoned by the fruit was SO cute and concerned,

Also Porsche is right Kinn’s smiles are fantastic and make him SO cute and handsome, 

Moody serious kinn is dangerously sexy but smiling Kinn is cute and fun feeling,

Porsche is always cute. Or sexy. Or BEAUTIFUL that man’s is just gorgeous,

Ok so whyyyyyy did Kinn wait so long to take the cuffs off after the knife was introduced???! 

You really gonna be like “it helped us bond”...your lives were in danger and what?

YES YES YES APOLOGIZE for THAT NIGHT! Be specific YES. 

We love you but that was dubcon/noncon squicky and then you didnt talk and instead punished Porsche and played with his feelings and blamed him

That KISS was jawdroppingly perfect and now theyre both on the same page about their love finally but then Porsche LEAVES,

Episode 7 Aka 

obligatory mafia missions and nice action sequences

Vegas being a buttface playing with Porsche to amuse himself and throw shit in Kinns face because he just can.

Kinn made an error letting his interest in Porsche be so obvious to Vegas…its a vulnerability to exploit and Porsche gets caught in the crossfire as an innocent casualty to their family drama peacocking bs.

But seriously WHEN did Vegas CLOCK that interest? Because it feels like he always knew….

Kinns pining and jealous ofc and he shows up at the minor fam house just to see Porsche and beg him to come back to him!, 

lots of innuendo with guns and wow they’re such BOYS,

noncon again dude Vegas was gross and not smooth at all with that spill, 

Pete are you team KinnPorsche already?? No because youre surprised in episode 9  when Arm brings it up….so why spy on Vegas and Porsche...did Kinn put you up to it???

though Porsche dropping Chay off was SUPER cute, 

jealous Porsche couldve been handled better like ngl it was kinda awkward, 

can't believe they spied on the boss wth that was too OOC, 

but i'm glad they talked it out and Kinn is really growing up and being BETTER, 

Korn is a lying liar who lies and also hes shit,

Porsche I know it's a tough subject but try to meet him halfway cuz he’s NOT Korn. He's your soul so trust him, 

although Porsche tried to tell Kinn about his doubts once and Chan interrupted, 

not Chan's FAULT but still,

OMG Kinn is so smart scaring Porsche with ghost stories bcuz like Porsche is such a cute scaredy cat,

I can't make gifs so instead I will make a text post about gifs: it really surprises me that I've never seen a gifset of Vegas mirroring Pete's "I give up! Vegas, I give up" (ep11) and "I got nothing left" (ep13) lines, in the safehouse and by the poolside.

It's always been so interesting to me that Vegas uses Pete's literal exact surrender/breakdown language, like he idk, learned how to give in from him, what it means to be driven to the brink and to actually let go instead of stubbornly fighting the way Vegas has his whole life (and fully expects Pete to, until he suddenly unsettlingly won't anymore).

Also so interesting that the first mirroring happens when Pete is fully breaking the fuck down (Pete deathgripping the knife against his throat -> Vegas: Okay, I give up! Pete, I give up!), like the only language Vegas has in the face of Pete in that state are Pete's own words from last time he broke him.

Vegas was desperate when he pulled out the grandma blackmail in ep11, and it's imo significant that he never touches that threat again, like he doesn't like to go way too far all at once usually, he likes to take his time, he likes to play lol, but he needed to act fast in that moment and really push Pete fast to get him to the safehouse with him - and Pete's episode 13 breakdown is something that happens with the same precipitous violence, but to Vegas this time. Pete has been hurtling towards breakage the whole episode, but Vegas never sees it coming, so now he's the one who has to face a stabilizing attachment transforming instantly into a terrible vulnerability. How the turn tables, etc

Anyway if there is a gifset please show it to me I think this is a very giffable detail ty.

One day this summer, I thought, KinnPorsche, but Porsche is Robin Hood. Then the next day, I thought, KinnPorsche, but Porsche is Robin Hood at a Ren Faire.

Thus was born the Robin Hood Ren Faire AU, my @kinnporschebigbang fic, illustrated by the incomparable @mohnikei.

The plot: Kinn finds himself at a Ren Faire, for reasons. Porsche steals his watch, also for reasons. Chay reads tarot cards, Kim masquerades as a minstrel.

KP Episode 9

So. Yeah that happened

Honestly I was freaking the fuck out the entire time. So much shit happened and if I have to wait a fucking week to find out what happens next, I deserve to rant about it goddammit. 

Starting with: Porsche guarding Tawan the whole time. Ngl I thought this made sense for two reasons. The first being that at the beginning of the episode, Porsche is the person Kinn trusts the most and who he trusts to have his emotional interests in mind. He already knows Big might go off the wall, he doesn’t know what the other guards will do. He knows Porsche loves him and will do what Kinn wants with Tawan whether he likes it or not because they just talked about how Tawan affected and continues to affect Kinn.  Secondly, I think that Kinn is trying very hard to take his emotions out of this situation. By leaving Porsche and Tawan in the same room, it’s sectioning off the two people with the biggest impact to his emotional state. Idk this just made sense to me from a “fuck, I need to control things” standpoint. 

Secondly, the scene with Kim was, maybe not placed the best, but super important in my opinion to tell us where Che stands in regards to Kim. I think the writers want us to know that Kim didn’t just kiss Che when he said he liked him to continue to use him or anything, but he’s actually falling as well. It might not have been necessary, per se, but in my opinion it did set the feelings up well. 

While we’re on the topic, Che confessing??? That was all I needed. Honestly, did not give a fuck about anything else that went on in the episode after that scene. And I think it really proves that Che is the only one who currently owns a braincell 😂. I don’t know what’s going to happen there yet but I their relationship is definitely progressing.  (Also side note: I hoped that them releasing the Chay and Kim character study would mean a breakthrough in their relationship this episode and man I love being right.) 

Continuing with my personal favorite part of the episode: VEGASPETE AT THE TEMPLE???????? I have so many fucking thoughts.  1) Macau showing up, insisting Pete join them, and then falling asleep during the sermon? Between this and the apology to Porsche in the seventh episode, I am convinced that Vegas is making him be his wingman when it comes to seducing bodyguards 😂. 2) I don’t know if anyone else felt this way, but the “we’ll see each other in the next life” and the hand on the back made me feel like Vegas was trying to say that Pete couldn’t escape him? It seems contradictory because Pete was the one following Vegas and as far as we know, Vegas has no reason to be this possessive over Pete. But their interactions so far have always been leading Pete somewhere and/or physically taking control of him (ie the hallway scene and when he and Macau are pulling Pete into the temple). It feels like he’s trying to establish a dominance over Pete which leads me to  3) Pete when he’s dumping the water out. I haven’t seen anybody talking about this but that moment was the most evidence for Pete being attracted to Vegas in my opinion. The way he pauses and has to physically reset- Vegas is affecting him and we can see it happening. I’m a strong believer of the “Vegas and Pete are equally fucked up” train so this stood out to me a lot. 

Another thing that stood out to me a lot is Pete’s incompetence. Because he’s not incompetent. He’s the head of Tankhun’s detail, he was chosen for the casino and the minor family mission, Kinn specifically told him he was the only one he trusted to follow Vegas. But as Pete’s pointed out, every time he’s been meant to spy on Vegas, it hasn’t turned out well. Vegas caught them in the car, Vegas got Porsche alone and tried to kiss him, and now, Vegas not only found out Pete was following him, but trapped him, put him in a situation he had no control over, and then escaped. Vegas messes with Pete so much that even though he has to be a very experienced bodyguard, he just does so bad on missions that involve Vegas. And that makes me really nervous about what’s going to happen next episode when he sneaks into the minor family house. 

Moving away from VegasPete, I want to take some defensive stances for the sake of My Boys. Firstly, Porsche talking to Vegas. In my opinion, the only reason Porsche would be wary of Vegas is because Porsche knows Vegas is attracted to him. He’s not trying to encourage that. But, speaking from personal experience, when you’re feeling alone, you’ll ignore the fact that someone has ulterior motives just to interact with someone who’s nice to you. Vegas is a fucking good manipulator. Whether he and Tawan planned this together or not, he knew that Tawan being there would make Porsche feel distant from Kinn and he would capitalize on that. And he will say whatever he thinks Porsche wants to hear to try and get him to trust him.  In that same vein, Tawan is a master manipulator. He’s manipulated Kinn before and he cannot be trusted. We know that, Big knows that, Tankhun knows that. I think even Kinn knows that. So even if he doesn’t have a plan with Porsche (which I honestly think he does), I’m not mad at him. Kinn is so scared of being manipulated again that he will overcorrect just to protect himself and his family. I don’t think he’s trusting Tawan over Porsche. I think he’s trapped himself inside his own head. Which is why the meetings between him, Tankhun, and his father are so important. He needs an outsider point of view to make sure he’s not making a mistake.  (And I do appreciate Korn trying not to pass judgement in the meeting about Porsche. He knows his judgement will sway Kinn a lot, and whether he thinks Porsche is innocent or not, he needs Kinn to be able to make that decision. Not only for Kinn’s own emotional health but because it’s a necessary skill when it comes to being a mafia boss. I could do a whole rant on Korn’s motivations but yeah, that stood out to me.) 

My final thoughts: Tawan.  I fucking love him. He’s so fucking funny. I want to punch him in the face and watch Porsche beat him to a bloody pulp but taking his towel off with Kinn in the bathroom? Putting his full face in Kinn’s crotch? He’s a fucking bastard but his attempts to seduce and mess with Kinn are hilarious to me. And maybe that’s because I have complete belief that Kinn does not care one bit for Tawan sexually (literally who would when they’re dating Porsche Pachara Kittisawasd) but yeah. It’s stupid and funny as hell and I can’t wait to see it blow up in his face. 

Anyway yeah. That was my longass breakdown of episode 9. I’m definitely going to be writing fan fiction to cope so look out for that if you want. And please tell me your thoughts on this episode/any of the ships because I love HEALTHY debate on this kind of stuff. Don’t be an asshole, I’ll just ignore you.

I look through the comments and theories on the next KP episodes and see that after Big's death the fandom has a surprisingly increased bloodlust, because I've already seen signs that Arm may die, the fandom wishes Kim the worst (and it's kind of funny how Jeff is self-aware of his character), reincarnation motives tell some that even Vegas can die (but maybe it will be a more metaphysical, but in one body, reincarnation). Or maybe it's not bloodlust, it's fear and being prepared for the worst. Apparently one of the directors said that someone else would die (but killing the main cast doesn't sound very wise). Oh, and I saw somewhere that the book event about the death - although not really - is also making an appearance in the series. The only question is WHEN they would like to stuff it, because in total there are quite a lot of small hints of various events scattered and there are only 3 episodes.

What I love the most about KimChay is how we as the audience are taken out of the dark mafia drama alongside Kim.

Kim always expects the worst of people. He was raised in a world where everyone has some ulterior motive and that no one should be trusted.

He was expecting Porchay to be harboring some dangerous secret. But then to Kim's surprise, all it was was some innocent thing trying to hide the fact that he has this massive crush on Kim.

It's almost like you can see Kim's relief (and a little bit of joy) when he realizes this. Finally something and someone is exactly who they say they are: just a young fan.

And the show does this for us too with the color palette and lighting on screen. Even the music, pacing, and shot compositions are different compared to the rest of the show.

I think vegas pete will remain a mystery to me. The popularity I mean. I saw 1 picture of them today with more than 20 000 likes on twitter. 20.000 likes. How ? For 4 episodes. Is it what peoples call pretty privilege ? Lol the ship is carried by bible. He is hot and the rest is history. Played by another actor, not as attractive, I'm sure it wouldn't have been the same.

They made them so dramatic in the last two ep it made them laughable to me. All the screams, the cries, the i love you, the pet and owner talk beside the pool at the end of the episode please 💀 their story didn't felt earned I'm sorry. Despite of the screentime they took from the main story for the last episodes may I add. 😇

I don't understand the popularity either, because the ship does not live up to the hype by any means. They get likes and whatnot, but it's all smoke and mirrors. The reason I say that is because you could see a single tweet with 20k likes for them, but the ship's hashtag barely even reaches half of the tweets for the show's hashtag in regards to the Twitter trends. Yesterday is a perfect example of this. By the end of the episode, the ship's hashtag pulled in over 80k tweets but the show's hashtag pulled in over 1 million tweets. That's not even a third of the show's hashtag numbers, which means the majority of the people who were using the show's hashtag to tweet about the show weren't using the ship's hashtag.

The ship's hashtag finally broke 100k tweets today. It took all night and some of the morning for it to finally get to 100k tweets for a show that easily pulls in 1 million tweets within an hour of the episode airing. That's why when I see stuff like that, it doesn't really make me think it's more popular than it actually is. It's just smoke and mirrors; it's an illusion. When you really look at the numbers, it's not as popular as you might think. I've never seen the ship's hashtag even break 500k tweets. Never. And yes, I do pay attention to the Twitter trends because that's just what I do.

Bible is attractive, but him being attractive couldn't save this ship. It couldn't give us chemistry and that's the saddest part about all of this. He's so pretty, but it wasn't enough to give us heat and lust. What a waste. Also, watching Pete give that pathetic speech made me lose my lunch. If you're into pet play, that's fine. But using that to bring someone out of grief and despair because their father just died is probably not the right idea. Pete thought the power of pet play would be the right method to bring Vegas out of despair, and I will never forgive the writers for that. I had so much secondhand embarrassment over that. I almost died from it!
