SaL anon back again for more ranting. So I agree with your side-eye to what exactly the Buck storyline of next episode is going to entail. We know the firefam parts are going to be delicious and hurt in all rhe best ways, even that small glimpse at the hospital had everyone screaming incoherently, and we haven't even seen Maddie' s reaction yet! But as for the coma dream itself? There's where we could hit a serious stumbling block. Like you said if this is just about how life looks for him with

Daniel alive and him never being a firefighter, and how that effects for the 118 what purpose is that supposed to serve exactly?? Like the time for a story about Buck questioning his place in the team was early 5a when he briefly thought of leaving, not now when he's given no hint of having those same insecurities. If it's to give him a reason to come back, making it about everyone else's unhappiness and not his happiness is NOT character development, it's continuing the same pattern for Buck. It can't be some revelation about the most behated sperm donor nonsense since he's supposedly fine with all that. The last thing we got from Buck was he was sort if looking longingly at the Buckley-Han dinner wondering if that could have been their family, is he supposed to find out no, his parents would always be treat him the same, which seems pointless on a number of levels. I'm starting to really fear this part of the episode will end up being KR having her "fun" episode without it having any real substance or impact. Let's face it, it wouldn't be a first for her and since there seem like she's already ready to move on is this going to be ANOTHER near-death story that just ends with no follow-up. I really, really hope with all the build up something comes out of this. I love to see these actors give it there all but without pushing the story forward it loses some magic.

Hi my friend! I with you that no matter what, the main cast are going to deliver devastating performances and I can't wait to see them! Like I said in our last ask though, I'm concerned about the show trying to push the idea that while Buck might have finally gotten a loving, supportive family, everyone else's life is worse off. So isn't it better that he's more miserable and traumatized from years of childhood emotional neglect and toxicity, if it means everyone else gets to have a better life? How is that any kind of growth and not just reinforcing his parents idea that he's meant to be used for parts?

It could end up being something totally different and that's what I'm hoping for, but right now the underlying theme they seem to be circling is...not a particularly good look. And I know people are gonna be trying to pull out the It's A Wonderful Life comparisons but there's a huge difference in a grown man not getting to travel and go off to college but who still built a solid life with a loving wife and family being shown all the good he's done when he thinks it was better he was never born, and a man who was neglected as a child being told that if he'd had loving parents, everyone else would have suffered, so isn't it better that he was neglected and suffered instead?

You brought up a great point too, that it's weird they're doing an "if you hadn't done this job here's what would have happened to people you love" storyline when Buck's not questioning his job or his place in the firefam right now!

So the question becomes "what is this supposed to teach him"? It's not about his place in the firefam or that he's in the right job because that's not currently in question. We know that per Oliver, he's totally settled and having zero qualms or quandaries over the sperm donor thing, so what could this experience teach him in regards to that if he's not having or going to have issues about it? Is it going to teach him that his parents aren't that bad and what's a lifetime of neglect between family and he and Maddie need to get over it? Or that they're still the same people they always were and he was right, nothing has really changed? How are either of those outcomes good, or progress? I'm just...really confused what the takeaway from this storyline is going to be, because it SHOULD be that life it too short for him and Eddie to keep wasting time, and much like the shooting it should be THEE "oh" moment, but given that Oliver has been making sure to signal that expectations should be managed, and KR is spending her interviews talking about later episodes and Eddie dating again, I'm not holding my breath. So if it isn't that, then what is Buck learning through this? It's the same with the sperm donor arc in that I'm unclear on what the point is supposed to be. And it's so frustrating because the potential is just RIGHT THERE for interesting things they could do, but naturally KR only thinks Buck and Eddie are interesting when there are women she can project onto trying to get into their pants. 🙄🙄🙄

I don't think it will end up being played for laughs like she does most other things, but I'm with you that my "one fear meme" is about this ultimately being another thing that happens and then is never brought up again. Bobby getting shot, Bobby injuring his back in May Day and then getting dropped during a rope rescue when the truck when over the cliff. Athena's whole episode in 6x03 that has had absolutely zero mention or ramifications since the episode aired. The punch Chim gave Buck that she decided was resolved off screen and never needed to be mentioned (though I'm crossing fingers it does FINALLY come up during this new arc because she's been dragged for filth about that choice ever since she mentioned it in that interview). Maddie and Chim reconnecting and then breaking up immediately off screen and never having an on screen resolution either. Enough is enough! And, given how many things Buddie have pent up by this point that have never been talked about it becomes an issue of what will FINALLY be enough to trigger a conversation.

Anyway, sorry to be a downer and a Negative Nancy, I just gotta get it out so it quits trying to eat my brain and also I'm half asleep. I AM still excited for the new episode and I WILL be flailing no matter what because the cast is going to DELIVER on the emotions for sure! But I don't think the CAST giving good performances gets the showrunner off the hook for a half season that had nothing happening and having to consequently shove too much into the second half, or for bungling arcs (lookin at you tay kay coming back, L, the sperm donor arc especially), or for not understanding the characters or their motivations when planning out arcs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

"Ruined" might be a strong word - I was never much of a Harringrove shipper (though I def saw the chemistry/sexual tension) but god that is just such a toxic barrel of snitty arguing and shit-flinging that I avoid almost all Harringrove content on sight. (Even stuff by authors I typically like.)

I like Lawrusso from their interactions on the show, but jesus so much of the fanfic is saccharine sweet and wildly OOC, I just couldn't engage with that side of the fandom. Johnny's a writhing ball of toxic masculinity and insecurity. Daniel's a pretentious weeaboo with a stick up his ass. They're both hung up on the past. Gimme more of that. That's why I love them.

Other than that, I feel like being in the fandom has changed my mind on certain pairings, especially canon or seemingly endgame ones. I'm generally a multi-shipper, as long as it makes sense, but Mileven and Stancy are much bigger mehs for me since I got more into the ST fandom scene. Modern PRMF fanfic turned me from Chip/Vida to Chip/Vida/Xander. I was always on-board for Shassie, but fandom has made it hard to watch the heavier-handed Shules episodes, which makes it harder to watch later Psych content in general.

A kind of niche one (maybe not on this hellsite) but Juliette and Cal on First Kill were a huge letdown after all the thought pieces and gifsets I saw here. They were okay, but the chemistry was mid and the writing was so inconsistent, I had a hard time connecting with them after the expectations set by the fandom.

9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?

Oh this is a tough one. Like of course I dislike Billy Hargrove, he's made to be a piece of shit with dubiously redemptive potential. Same for guys like Jason Carver - if I dislike them, the writers did their jobs right.

Every time Mineta appears on MHA, I groan internally and externally. I know anime is probably cheating but god that little shit gets on my nerves. Honestly, any anime character that exists purely to be pervy comic relief immediately activates my fight or flight response.

22. Popular character you hate?

I don't hate Tommy Oliver, per se, but he's so fucking over-saturated in modern PR media, I just want more from other legacy Rangers and seasons.

Kusaka from KR Faiz - another character I'm meant to dislike but god he's so popular in certain circles and I know it's because the actor is likable but Kusaka himself is so punchable and the cause of so many problems throughout the season, including keeping one of my favorite pairings (Takumi/Yuuji) on opposite sides.

Is Tori from Cobra Kai popular? I like the idea of her but god the writing is so inconsistent, it's like the writers wanted a female Robby but couldn't figure out her redemption arc the way they did his. (Not that his was great but hers is just a scattershot of redemptive tropes and the writers going 'eh? eh?')

Ohhh, that lot of albums sounds amazing! That's how I got most of my Vixx albums, all in a big bundle! It's great that you have a little network of people wanting albums though, it'd be such a shame for the duplicates to just be sitting around if someone wants/needs them.

I also bought the fan kit! We have SOOOO many tarot cards in this house. 😅 I recently got a cool Korean holographic deck! It's really beautiful~

I've also noticed that about buying straight from KR! The price is usually about the same. And things definitely arrive much faster! I honestly love the Korean postal system. When I mailed a postcard home, it literally arrived the next day. I was amazed.

That's so true. If someone is absolutely spotless and never puts a foot wrong, then it's kinda strange. If they're eternally, faultlessly good... it feels odd. Like how lawyered up are you, and how deep have you buried the bodies??? Humans make errors. People have bad days. Moods change. It's hard to be ON all the time. It's fine. It's normal. I ALWAYS think this. Particularly about K-pop and gaming. It's grown adults, with regular incomes, who are buying merch and albums, and paying stupid prices for tickets. Plus, going to a concert is an EXPENSIVE experience if you live outside of the city the show is at?? Every K-pop concert I go to costs me around £450-£550 (average of £120 per ticket, £100 travel costs, £160 hotel, £50 for food and drink) + whatever I decide to spend on merch. I spent £160 on Ateez merch in February! Kids are simply NOT affording it.

Oh, Pungja? I love her, she's so funny and her humour is so direct! I really liked the interview she did with Mingi and Hongjoong during Halazia era too. That was around the same time (same week?) we got that WooSanHwa Lucky Oppa episode! (I watched it again yesterday) I really loooove how they all interacted with Hoyoung — especially Woo, he was so excited. It was truly a great week for Ateez interviews and queer interactions in general. And, you're right, there is an honest comfort in their engagement that's GREAT to see. It just doesn't seem to matter, which is obviously how it should be.

Omg. There were SO many quote contenders for my little ateez tattoo. But most of them were a bit sad, even though they're very meaningful to me?? So I just went with the straightforward but hopeful '너와 나의 promise'. But I was SO CLOSE to choosing Joong's whole verse from Halazia... because it's basically (read: exactly) how I feel about my whole health journey these past few years. And there was also 'I shine on my own [people will call that a star]' which is really beautiful... but also kind of lonely in a way?? And then I was like maybe 'just keep it up' because it's so encouraging and Sunrise is a GREAT concert song. But Promise always cheers me up. Although, I did also seriously consider '별처럼 빛나' and I still might get that one because '별' is one of my favourite Korean words. And '처럼' and '빛' are two of my favourite Korean words to say. But I think I'd like to get something more conceptual/visual. Who knows. You'll definitely have to let me know what you decide to get, if you decide! 😊

I really liked neon green Yeosang! But I do prefer his natural hair, especially when it's a bit longer. He looks like an actual fairytale prince. Still, I was a big fan of highlighter green Yeosang! The black stripes have me less enthusiastic BUT I respect his scene kid journey! 😂 He definitely knows that rawr means 'i love you' in dinosaur. Ahhhh. Mingi looks so good this era, I absolutely love the style they put him in. I didn’t love the short cropped when it was blonde, but now that it’s gotten a bit longer it looks amazing (and it looked great with the pink).

And yes, in regards to pcs - I have limited space 🤣I collect pcs for 7-ish groups (only SHINee and Ateez are ‘every album must have a pc’ type collections - the other 5 are more “if they’re cute I will get them” lol) - so far I’ve been displaying them in these little polaroid mini things so I can flip through them easily - but I’m running out of room 😭 I’m probably going to need to get a third one V_V

The album lot arrived last week, it was so much more than I had anticipated! She also sent along '22 Season’s Greetings which I did not at all expect, and the special edition of All to Action which I uh… Wasn’t aware even existed until my friend lost her shit when I showed her the spread 😂 (And I got one of San’s autographed albums 🥲 - not from the same seller but they arrived the same day so I was absolutely chuffed - I need Wooyoung still but am waiting a bit for a good deal).

In all there were 11 duplicates because of some that I already owned. I wasn’t planning on collecting every version of each album, but I mean… She already did 90% of the work for me so 😂 - I actually have a shop online where I resell kpop merch like albums and pcs so it works out; new inventory for my shop, I'll be able to recoup a good half of the money I spent on it I figure.

But, at least until another group I like as a comeback, and until I get the last 2 albums I’m missing (yellow and blue versions of Movement are all that I’m missing V_V - they’re on the way though) - this is what my kpop center looks like overall … I’m out of room.

Oh my God I LOVE that tarot deck! That is so gorgeous!! Where did you get it?? My favorite deck that I own is my Black Deck; I love darker, more eerie decks - but I also love fandom decks; I have a Nightmare Before Xmas one on the way and am eyeing a Star Trek one as well. (And am lamenting the fact that no one has made an American Horror Story deck? Like come on people.)

And yeah, I expect mistakes from people. I’m not delusional, I know my idols and favorite celebrities are human and sometimes humans just don’t want to deal with shit or say things without thinking. It’s just how we are as a species. The problem is when it is repetitive, malicious, or shows willful ignorance or hostility (i.e. sexism, racism, etc) that is not due to ignorance. And right??? I love the stereotype of fans of these things, kpop, video gamers, etc - being 12-14 year old children - like, do people realize the amount of money that it takes to be a fan in the way they are imagining? Obviously I don’t think you need to buy everything or do everything to be a fan - that’s ridiculous - but when these people who mock kpop are mocking fans, they’re mocking ones that have every version of the albums, collect the pcs, go to the concerts, travel to KR to go to fan signs, etc — do they realize what that all costs??? I freely admit that I have a good probably 2k-4k usd worth of merch and albums sitting on my shelf or up on my walls or in binders rn (whether or not I paid that, someone did) and that’s not near as much as it used to be when I collected for BTS, plus a good 500usd or so sitting in a box for resale. A child isn’t going to do that. A child isn’t going to be able to do that, and I know almost zero parents that would be willing to do that for their child - kids are expensive enough as it is 😂 - I fund my son’s hyperfixation (dinosaurs/the Jurassic series) and that’s bad enough. Tickets/concerts are so expensive, you are right! Between the cost of the ticket (which is so much more if the group is popular and if you want seats close or the extras like hi-touch an such). And then travel, hotel, food — and for me personally, even if it’s the rare one in my city (I’ve been lucky enough to see A.C.E and OnlyOneOf here in Minnesota) - most of the time tho I have to travel to Chicago or New York). I still have to pay for a sitter - which isn’t as bad as a hotel but still not cheap — and a kid isn’t going to be driving, so either their parents are footing the gas bill or they’re taking a rideshare, so… Yeah no. (Not to mention some cities here in the US have age curfews - which means parents are gonna need to spend money on an extra ticket to go just so their kid can go.)

Yes! Her. She’s a hoot. I saw she did an interview with those two, I haven’t watched it yet though. I haven’t seen Lucky Oppa either! I will have to go look it up. I’ve never heard of it! I agree as well, that it doesn’t matter - which is what I think is important. I don’t want the community being treated differently in a bad way OR a good way, you know? I just want all of us treated like humans. If you’d treat a cishet host a certain way, then treat the queer host the same way.

And yesss - I swear so many of their lyrics are so deep and meaningful. I feel like a lot of their lyrics are really impactful and speak to me — which ofc is what most fans think, that’s the sign of a good song lol - but you get it. I really like lyrics from Utopia and Aurora (actually Aurora would be really fun to play with as a sort of watercolor night sky looking tattoo but idk). I also really love Better and One Day at a Time - they’re so simple but meaningful. And an odd one that I like but not probably for why you’d think is Good Lil’ Boy - as a transmasc preson there’s parts of it that just resonate for me. I’m sure that I’m sure wasn’t the original intention but 🤷🏻‍♂️ - also parts of Say My Name and Thanxx for a similar reason.

There’s a shop that I found, they did my Doodle tattoo (which was also my first pride tattoo without planning for it; I told her that they could play with the colors of it and she realized it was the perfect # of letters to use for pride colors lol. I love this shop though; it only hires queer, disabled, female identifying, or poc artists. The owner is an enby artist who specializes in top surgery/scar coverups — I want to go to them when I finally decide on what I want for my top surgery scar tattoo. But there’s one artist there that does amazing watercolor - I really would like to have her do sth. But I’m sure I’ll figure something out; maybe I’ll get it for my birthday next year, I try to get one a year when money allows.

The way I snorted over “xXxY3oS4ng13xXx” - because I definitely had a username similar and so did my friend - the nostalgia this kid is giving me rn 😂 - that’s why I don’t like it, it’s giving me clique war flashbacks 🤣🤣🤣🤣(speaking of nostalgia tho - the 2022 Season’s Greetings that I got from that seller - talk about making me feel old jfc - the fact that these trends are retro for these GenZ kids V_V please. They were cute, but I also wanted to hide under a rock seeing some of them).

And yes oh my GOD Wooyoung’s red hair was amazing. It caught my attention right away. I can count on one hand the number of idols that have been able to pull of that neon red and honestly 1/2 of them are Ateez members 😂 - tho some of them really are just super well suited to fantasy colored hair. Like Joong looks amazing in various unnatural colors imo; my least favorite styles of his are when he’s just with his natural hair 😅

The COSMO OH MY GOD I DIED. The way I immediately went to my budget and wiggled stuff around to pre-order a couple of those, it was embarrassing. (I was gonna get all 9 but even I realized it was a bit silly to get 9 copies of the same magazine just for the covers… Despite my desperate want for them.) If I had an easy way to display all of them I would’ve, but alas, my walls are already almost entirely full so, I limited myself to WooSan and ot8. Mingi tho - absolutely killer. And Yunho??? I swear, that man goes totally off my radar for periods then BAM - there he is.

Also, I was watching some shorts and this video came up and I just… Wooyoung is so tiny he looks like a little boy V_V — and I know he’s not really all that small (tho tbf compared to my barely 5ft ass EVERYONE is tall) - but he looks so little next to him and the expression he’s making 😩 My heart.

WormWatch 2022

After episode four of KR Kabuto, here are the top three recurring characters I think are likely to be Worms. (If I get any names wrong it's because I didn't want to look the characters up, for obvious reasons.)

Hiromi, Kagami's coworker at the cafe. She has like multiple Worm flags per episode, plus the opening credits flag her as the third most important character after Tendou and Kagami but we have no idea why yet. I'd be surprised if she wasn't a Worm. Also, if she's a Worm, I think she doesn't know... I think she forgot or she's a special sleeper agent or something.

Kagami's direct supervisor, the ZECT man. He keeps a little aloof from their missions relative to the woman, and he keeps giving Kagami chances for mysterious reasons. Also Tendou keeps hinting that he thinks ZECT is evil and that would make sense tbh. They seem to have invented the Kabuto system and Kamen Rider loves Riders to be created by the bad guys. If this guy is a Worm, he knows it.

Tendou. I think being a Worm wouldn't change or challenge him the way it would most characters, because his main character syndrome isn't a mask or a defensive front - it's his true personality and it sits on a foundation of solid bedrock. But he basically implicitly admitted that caring about people makes him vulnerable in episode four. I think later in the series, after he's taken some hits, a Worm reveal might make him deepen his understanding of his own beliefs and feelings about his relationships, or express them more clearly, in an interesting way. This is also another way the "Riders come from the same source as the bad guys" could play out in Kabuto. If he's a Worm, probably doesn't know it; I could see him knowing he's a Worm and already having made up his mind about what that means for him.

This is the character I think is currently the least likely to be a Worm:

Tendou's little sister... it doesn't seem like it would go in a particularly interesting direction and she's already... I don't know if she's exactly comic relief, but she's a mood lightener. Maybe if the series starts getting super dark towards the end, the writers will shoo her out of the picture by Worming her?

“Rider Rewrites: Build” + Theories about the Future of Build’s Story

Fuuuuuuck me, it’s been literally years since I’ve done Rider Rewrites. In fact, so long that I only ever made one Rider Rewrites, and that was for Ghost, a season that a lot of people have problems with (like the main character, though like I said in it, I actually enjoyed Ghost). So for a while I was thinking “I’ve been free from college for a while, so why not try doing Rider Rewrites again?” and here we are. I’m gonna do Build, since it DID recently finish, and I’ve already gotten a few ideas about what I’d change with it. This is also gonna have my opinions about the final episode in general (since it seems like there are quite a number of people who didn’t like it), and also my theories about where Build’s story will take them, primarily with the Zi-O crossover movie (since I’m sure what I’ll theorize with the Build arc in the TV series proper will be debunked fast) and Build NEW WORLD.

So since it’s been a long while since I’ve done a Rider Rewrites, I feel like I should restate my criteria as well as add some new ones:

- I’m only doing KR seasons that I’ve personally watched to the end, which are Kuuga, Ryuki, Blade, Den-O, Kiva, and all of the Phase 2 Heisei Riders. - No requests, I’m only doing this ‘cuz I feel like it. - Again no actual schedule, but this time I’m hoping to do at least a few more after this. - This is heavily opinion based, so there are definitely gonna be disagreements with what I’d do. I’m fine with different ideas and opinions, just as long as you respect mine as well. - This is all written under the premise that I'm a writer with an “infinite” budget, since I understand that with the restrictions that the real staff and cast have (such as cost of effects, timing, and having to edit things to fit a standard-length episode), they likely wouldn’t be able to do it. - My changes are likely not going to be in chronological order, it’ll probably be all over the place in terms of thinking. - I’m doing this without any knowledge about Kamen Rider Build: Be the One, so any changes that I’d make that are answered in the movie, I’ll take back. This will likely be the same for any future Rider Rewrites, since I’m intending to do these immediately after the TV series itself has finished, as it’s typically where my ideas for changes is the freshest.

With that out of the way, let’s get down to it.

SUMMARY:

The setting; 10 years ago, a space mission to Mars brought back a mysterious item dubbed the Pandora Box. Amidst the celebration of finding such an item, a mysterious man interrupts the ceremony by touching the alien artifact, which activates it and creates a giant wall known as the Skywall that emits a red glow, and divided the country of Japan into three new ones, Touto, Hokuto, and Seito. The light that was emitted from the Pandora Box’s activation affected the minds of those present there, namely Gentoku Himuro, who was there in place of his father, future Touto Prime Minister Taizan Himuro, who couldn’t make it, future Hokuto Prime Minister Yoshiko Tajimi, and future Seito Prime Minister Masakuni Mido. Their minds were affected by turning them into war-thirsty people who sought to use the power of the Pandora Box to their desires, and it was only by Taizan Himuro’s intervention that the Pandora Box was kept out of everyone’s hands. But in the background, a mysterious organization known as Faust begins to act, desiring to take the Pandora Box for itself.

Build follows the amnesiac genius physicist and scientist Sento Kiryu, the titular Kamen Rider Build, who seeks to find out his true identity, as well as convicted murder and former MMA fighter Ryuga Banjou, who transforms into Kamen Rider Cross-Z. They are aided by Soichi Isurugi, a mysterious man who runs the cafe nascita and acts as support by providing information in the lab underneath the cafe, his daughter Misora, who uses her connections as the internet idol Mii-tan to get information as well as being the one responsible for purifying the Fullbottles, which are necessary for Sento and Ryuga to transform with, and Sawa Takigawa, a reporter who’s in need of a big scoop, who also uses her connections to provide information to the Riders. Together, the nascita team fights against Faust and their leaders, Night Rogue, a malevolent man with the powers of the Bat Fullbottle, and Blood Stalk, his lackadaisical second-in-command who has his own plans and intentions. But underneath it all, things are much more complicated than it seems.... 

MY OVERALL OPINION:

I love Kamen Rider Build. It’s easily one of my favorite KR seasons I’ve ever seen. it’s not perfect, I can acknowledge that. Hell, if it were, I’d probably wouldn’t even be doing this Rider Rewrites for it. But that doesn’t change how I feel about it. I really enjoyed the characters, the plot, the designs, everything about it. But with that said, let’s get into

WHAT I’D CHANGE: 

- First off, I think what I’d change is the introductory scene for the Hokuto Three Crows and Kamen Rider Grease. While it wasn’t bad, per se, it did come to my attention some time ago that in that introductory scene, Akaba uses a laser to destroy several buildings (probably killing a bunch of innocent bystanders while doing it) because he was getting bored waiting for Kazumi to join them. Which severely clashes with how we’re supposed to feel bad when he dies fighting against Gentoku as Kamen Rider Rogue. Instead of having Akaba lasering those buildings, I’d have the scene be that Kiba and Aoba are watching their tablet, and they turn around to face Akaba as the Castle Hard Smash, punching away at a Guardian he destroyed before using his laser on it (significantly weaker than what we see in the show, the trade-off being that he can use it more often as an attack now, since he barely used it in the first place). Kiba would chide Akaba about disobeying Kazumi (since I’m also imagining that the beam would damage another building (just not as much as in the original scene), but it would zoom out to show that Kiba is sitting on a Guardian he destroyed, and Aoba had planted a foot on one he did. Akaba would then detransform, revealing that he was different from a regular Smash, and would call out to Kazumi, it playing out much like in the original scene, where we see him having broken through the Skywall as Kamen Rider Grease and having destroyed the Touto Guardians. I feel like this change would help make the Hokuto Three Crows more earning of sympathy, since Akaba wouldn’t have just unnecessarily caused large-scale devastation. - For that matter, give some more time to the Hokuto Three Crows, since we barely know them outside of their relation to Kazumi. Aoba suffers this the most, since he dies first and very early on. According to Kazumi, he was a person who really cared about his friends, and would even cry for a complete stranger. I would like to actually see that, like give Aoba a scene where after he had fought a couple of Guardians (or the Riders), he sees a civilian scared to death of him, and tells them to go, that he’s not there to hurt them. Make him the most like Kazumi in that regard, so that his death stings him and the other two all the more. - Related to giving characters more screentime, do the same with the Washio Brothers. As they were in the series, they were just to be the “sidekicks” to Gentoku while he was on Seito’s and Nanba’s side and little else. For Fu, I’d like to emphasize his relationship with Rai a lot more. Make it that while he’s loyal to Nanba, Rai is the person he cares just a little more about. For instance, have it that when Rai goes back after losing to Kazumi in the Touto-Seito battle, Fu tells him that he’ll take care of things in a genuine tone, and do a brotherly handshake of sorts with him (which would be when Rai hands him his Gear Engine to let him transform into Hell Bro’s). And have it that whenever Rai’s down, Fu is always concerned for him before Rai insists on him finishing the job and tossing his Gear Engine to him. For Rai, I’d emphasize his prideful nature and loyalty to Nanba a lot more. Like, make it being a Nanba Child is a badge of honor for him, especially since he was the one chosen to be the Engine Bro’s. Have it so that in a lot of the fights we have with him, he’s talking down against his opponents about how inferior they are to him because he’s a Nanba Child and they’re not, and that with each fight that he loses, he becomes increasingly desperate to show that he’s superior to the point when he and Fu are offered to take the Nebula Gas infusion before their fight with Evolt, that he’s readily accepts it and pressures Fu to do the same (who I’d imagine would be just a liiiiiiittle apprehensive, but not too much as to not do it since he’s that loyal to Nanba as well), and that he has an even bigger breakdown about Evol being that much stronger than them, even after that Nebula Gas infusion. But still have Rai going down swearing his allegiance to Nanba, but this time as a way to comfort himself about the fact that not only is he not as strong as he thought he was, but that he’s now dying in front of his brother. Also, I think there could’ve been more of an effort to give the Washio Brothers more interactions with each of the characters, since they really don’t have any sort of significant relationship to any of the characters, even to Utsumi and Sawa, both of whom are also Nanba Children with them. - Show Sawa doing her espionage and information gathering. As funny as the “It’s better that you don’t know” gag is for me, I do understand the frustration some people have about her being this incredible character, yet we rarely ever see her doing her thing. Personally, the lack of her actions I chalk it up to the fact that doing unsuited stunts is that it’s time-consuming to teach actors who don’t have any experience with doing their own stunts, that using unsuited stunt doubles is harder to do since you have to match their physique to the actor’s/actress’s, and that it’s altogether too much money and too much of a risk that could injure them. For the purposes of Rider Rewrites, we’ll be ignoring that. Let’s see Sawa take down a bodyguard in front of a doctor who has access to Banjou’s medical records, let’s see Sawa sneak around to get information, just show her doing more things.          - On a related/off-topic side note, I don’t really necessarily think that just giving her the role of like, another Rider or a Rider-like user is really conducive to her character. Like I understand the want for more female Kamen Riders/Rider-like characters, but I personally don’t see it as something entirely necessary. Honestly, in my opinion it kinda makes it feel like the female characters are only useful if they can transform and fight alongside male Riders, and that’s sorta more disrespectful, since we have just as many non-Kamen Rider/Rider-like male characters. Though admittedly with Build, there were none of those. Plus, if it’s on the basis that “we need more female representation in Kamen Rider”, I feel like Magical Girl shows like Pretty Cure kinda fill a similar niche. - Give Utsumi more of a personality other than just being a blind follower of whoever’s the main villain at the moment. Like show more of his inventive side, but have Nanba and Blood Stalk/Evolt dismiss his original inventions and praise the ones that he’s copied, and show his frustrations with that more, but that it’s not enough to break his loyalty to Nanba. Also do more hints about his nature as a cyborg, since that’s one of the few things I feel like genuinely comes out of nowhere in Build besides a few jokes about him being one. Like have Blood Stalk/Evol make fun of him for thinking so much like a computer, or have Utsumi move around a little unnaturally at some points (mainly whenever he’s transformed into Night Rogue or MadRogue). - On the topic of Vernage, I don’t really have a problem with how she’s used, especially within the context of the series, since she’s on a time-limit that grows shorter each time her powers are used. People seem to think that she’s done nothing, but remember, without her emptying the Touto Fullbottles and her defeating Evolt so many years ago, we wouldn’t have a story. - I don’t necessarily have a problem with Sento as a character, but as a Rider, I feel like we should’ve gotten him to use more of his Forms, especially since we’ve established early on that he likes to use different Best Matches and Trial Forms to his advantage. Like, let’s see more of his Best Matches with the Fullbottles we rarely see, even if it’s only used once in the series. Let’s see him use Best Matches like BeetleCamera, or DogMic, or TurtleWatch, or UniRaser, any of them. It’s a shame that later on he mainly relies on RabbitRabbit, TankTank, and Genius Form. Speaking of which, let’s see Genius Form use more of the Fullbottle powers. We see Sento use the Diamond Fullbottle’s powers to defend himself against Evolt’s attack in one episode, so I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t use the other Fullbottle powers as well. - Related to the lack of Form usages later on in the series, we can also circumvent this by just using the Fullbottle finishers of weapons that can use them, like the Drill Crusher, the Beat Closer, the Twin Breaker, the Transteam/Nebulasteam Guns, the Knuckles, and the Fullbottle Buster. Like let’s see the effects of using those Fullbottles have on the weapons, as well as use them more for Charge/Discharge Crushes. - For Ryuga, I’d say that I’d like to see him use the basic Cross-Z suit for a little longer before upgrading into Cross-Z Charge, since it didn’t get to really shine, even after he had to go back to the Build Driver, since he almost immediately gets Cross-Z Magma. Same deal with Great Cross-Z, since it’s a fantastic repaint of basic Cross-Z, though I don’t mind its lack of usage as much as I do with basic Cross-Z. As a character, I don’t have any problems with him. In fact, he’s easily become one of my favorite secondary Riders, and I’m absolutely excited that he’s getting his own V-Cinema next year. He deserves it. - If there’s anything related to Ryuga I would change, I would add more new scenes of him and Kasumi to make it so that we feel a bigger connection between them. Like I love how he still thinks about her even after the 2/3rd point of the series, but it’s always of the same scene. Like, show me more scenes of them together so I can feel like it’s a real relationship. - Kazumi’s character I feel like was fine, but I would definitely tone down his fanboy tendencies at some points, since it was a little over-the-top. I wouldn’t get rid of them, just tone them down a little bit. I’d also wouldn’t give him a new form before Grease Blizzard, since I feel like the impact of Grease Blizzard is because it’s a new form and that it was dangerous thanks to the multiple Nebula Gas infusions he took. Maybe instead of a second Twin Breaker and the Dragon Sclashjelly, he gets a new weapon first, like maybe his own Beat Closer (which is one of my favorite Rider weapons that sadly doesn’t get used often). Hell, call it the “Beat Greaser” and give it new sounds and a paint job and make it a Web Exclusive toy. Bandai loves doing that. - Gentoku’s also fine. At first I felt like I’d have the most problems with him when he was revealed to have a redeeming arc, but after all was said and done, I think it worked for him. Like the nascita team didn’t immediately accept him joining them like I worried about (since he did kill Akaba and was in general partially responsible for the terrible things that happened to each of the characters), and he truly does earn his place with them instead of it being “Oh, I guess we all immediately forgive you for your transgressions.” - Blood Stalk/Evol as a villain is fantastic. He’s got charm, he’s got power, he’s got some of the coolest Kamen Rider designs I’ve ever seen. My biggest problem is his somewhat simple motivation of getting stronger because he’s supposed to be the “superior being”. Like I’m sure in “Be the One” they reveal more of his motivation and background since members of his race also make an appearance, but for now, I’m mainly just going off on the TV series since I have yet to watch the movie. Personally, I would give Evolt a bigger backstory. Like I would make it so that Evolt had been a high-ranking soldier of his race that was entrusted with the Evol-Driver (something that he named himself because he’s egotistical) and the Pandora Box in order to fight a war against another planet. But after that, he became enraptured with the powers that the technology gave him on top of his own that he ends up going off on his own to become stronger and stronger, as well as becoming smarter and smarter with how he handled things. This would eventually lead him to Mars, where he meets his match against Vernage. But as he is, he works as a fantastic villain. - Overall, I think I’d give the series more breathing space to allow it to expand and explore everything, And with that all said and done, I’ll talk about my thoughts on the final episodes. 

Honestly, it’s how I expected it to go, and I’m pretty satisfied with it. I’ve seen some people express dissatisfaction with it, and it’s understandable. But with the fact that their plan involved combining two Earths to create one new Earth, it’s hard to not imagine it going that way. Like, if the Earth’s combined and everyone was alive and had their memories of the previous universe, then what was the point of the tension and drama? Likewise, if the Earth’s combined and everyone that died stay dead, then what was the point of combining them? Personally, the Earth’s combining and everyone’s alive but without the memories of the previous universe is the better outcome, because it shows us how the world is without Evolt and the Pandora Box, and makes us wonder where Sento and Ryuga will go on from there. Speaking of which, I have a couple ideas of how the nascita team will reunite and regain their previous memories. I’m willing to bet that in either Zi-O’s and Build’s crossover movie or Build NEW WORLD, that they’ll all coincidentally meet at the nascita cafe, where they start wondering if they all know each other since each of them feels like the other is familiar, before being pulled into the movie’s plot. Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t, but I’m hoping it does.

Arielle Kebbel (AK): All good things... come to those who wait? *cast laughs*

François Arnaud (FA): We knew, we knew it was gonna happen. Didn’t we? *cast laughs*

AK: Sure, yeah.

KR: You’re a little bit into season 2, right, a couple of episodes under your belt, here? You have some very exciting news, you have new people coming in. Um, I love that first season was- that Colconnar the demon was the big bad, and now it’s tourists are coming in and (inaudible)

AK: The worst! I’m someone from Florida, we know.

KR: Talk to me a little bit about, um, Kai and... Patience? Is that her name? Um... Nestor Carbonell and Jaime Ray Newman coming in- *cast cheers* Yeah, so exciting! And taking over the hotel. What is that gonna mean for-for the Midnighters? What’s that gonna mean for our group?

Parisa Fitz-Henley (PFH): Well they’re encroaching on Fiji’s territory. 

AK: For sure.

PFH: I mean, with their crystals and stuff and, yeah, they’re getting in my way.

KR: Is she gonna be a little less tranquil than normal because of that?

PFH: Maybe... I feel like...

AK: That’s a good way of putting it!

PFH: *nods* Fiji is really sweet but she’s also got a little bit of a petty streak, I think that we might see a little of that.

AK: But per François, they won’t last long ‘cause of the ghosts, so we’ll see what happens.

KR: Oh, right!

FA: The ghosts might just help us get rid of them.

KR: That’s cool, um, if only the resident medium weren’t bleeding from the ears all the time. *cast laughs*

FA: I mean... they were bleeding blood, and not black goo.

KR: Oh yeah, yeah that’s true. So-

Jason Lewis (JL): How does that stuff taste?

FA: Uh, it’s really sweet and minty, actually, I quite like that.

KR: It’s minty?

FA: It’s minty, yeah. 

Nicole Snyder (NS): We’re gonna gargle with it.

KR: How’s he doing as we come back into season 2?

FA: He’s, y’know, slightly more troubled than usual. Um, I mean, not great. He has, uh, demonic cancer, to put it lightly.

KR: Okay. 

AK: (to Nicole Snyder) Are we allowed to say that? *Nicole shrugs*

FA: No? What are we allowed to say then? *cast laughs*

KR: Okay, so let’s table that for a second. Um, he and Creek had just kind of gotten together at the end of last season and cemented it. Um, Sarah Ramos is not a series rgular this season, but I know she’s going to be around. 

FA: She’s around.

KR: So what does that relationship look like?

FA: Manfred’s coming to terms with the fact that maybe Creek deserves better than Midnight, I-I mean as a- *cast scoffs* no, no, no, different. I mean sh-she has more um... 

JL: Are you deflecting off of your own character, like maybe deserves better than Manfred? *cast laughs*

FA: I think she has higher hopes for herself than just being a waitress in a small town and I think she wants to pursue, um, studies, and uh, literature studies, because then she has to become Charlaine Harris and write Midnight, Texas. 

KR: Oh, that’s true! 

JL: Well maybe possibly a place where she’s not constantly in threat for her mortal life.

PFH: Eh, I mean...

KR: Setting the bar really high. *cast laughs* There was kind of a band-aid stuck on all the cracks in the town, right? Like they stuffed the demons back and sealed it up, but that’s not gonna last forever. Can you guys tell me a little bit about how soon into the new season are we in mortal danger again? 

AK: I mean, like, 30 seconds?

NS: I mean, yeah, pretty much ten seconds in.

Eric Charmelo (EC): Yeah, I-I mean, last season we played with the conceit that the threat to Midnight was lurking under the streets and this season the threat is amongst the Midnighters, so it’s kind of ferreting out, uh, who that threat it, and what the endgame is.

FA: It’s me. *cast laughs*

KR: Alright, so Josh Kelly’s character, Walker Chisum, who is... and there’s no way to say this in- he’s a gay demon hunter, but he does not hunt gay demons, he is gay-

EC: Correct, he is a gay cowboy demon hunter, he is. 

JL: And he doesn’t necessarily hunt cowboys either.

AK: And he’s from Unreal, which we both worked on. *points to Joe Lewis*

KR: Yes, yes.

AK: So it’s all in the family, we had Breeda last season, from Unreal, so it’s a fun crossover.

KR: I need some webisodes of like, some like, bachelor-type (inaudible) Midnight show. 

PFH: Oh my god, please.

AK: That would be funny.

KR: Walker has some attraction to Joe, I’m hearing. How is Chuy feeling about that? 

JL: Chuy doesn’t know a damn thing. *cast laughs*

EC: That’s the way he likes it. *points to Joe Lewis*

KR: Wow. I mean, is this a thing, is it kind of, like, does Joe pick up on that, like, right away?

JL: No, I think, you know, Joe’s going through his own thing. He was hiding in Midnight for forever and hiding from Breeda’s character, uh, forever, and I think it’s kind of indicative of any of us that suppress a fundamental part of ourselves. It’s gonna come bubbling out and so, I’m bubbling.

KR: Are there any lasting effects from the vampire blood that Lem gave Olivia at the end of last season?

AK: I don’t wanna be a vampire, if that’s what you’re asking. *laughs* Love Lexi, I did it, no offense *motions toward Peter Mensah*, love Lem. *cast laughs* To be honest, I think that there’s a lot more that Olivia and Lem are going through than just the... are the effects on the vamp-sucking his blood. So season 2, uh, Olivia and Lem have a psychic connection, literally, so it quickly goes from, like, every woman’s dream to like, “Back the F off!” *cast laughs* So there’s a lot of that, you know? Like we had-there-there’s a nice little song and dance we have to work out. 

FA: And maybe they’re thinking of, uh, expanding the family, aren’t they?

AK: *nods* A threesome. *cast laughs*

KR: How is Lem dealing with the psychic connection?

Peter Mensah (PM): Lem is busy shaking his head and wondering what the hell he got himself into (inaudible)

AK: Like every married man!

KR: Exactly, I love that. So it’s like not just like, “Oh honey, you’re, like, leaving wet towels on the floor” it’s like “You’re literally encroaching on my psyche”.

What are your thoughts on today's ultraman? Compared to 60's-70's and 90's through 2000's. Basically before gimmicks took over the show. I feel they have lost sight of what ultraman is. Sacrificing story and character development for toys and money. I understand it is a business and ultraman is not the most popular but it's been going down hill, for me personally, rapidly and they don't seem to be changing anything or have any plans to. Idk just sucks seeing it turned into a money farmer.

Such thoughts are perfectly understandable as it all starts with how many episodes the New Gen Heroes series’ has.

With only about 25-ish episode per series, it’s pretty hard to survive without really appealing to $$$

With that in mind, story and character development will have to be sacrificed in order for TsuPro to sustain itself.

Cause hey, a show is better than no show at all.

This more or less shows how dangerous TsuPro’s position is as of rn.

Furthermore, I can guarantee that this phase of TsuPro won’t be permanent at all.

The focus on gimmicks will end once TsuPro manages to consolidate and strengthen its consumer base and market standing.

If they shows no signs of stopping, this only goes to show that they’re not out of the danger zone yet and NOT because they really love $ beyond going back to the early Heisei format.

Now let me explain this rather counterintuitive contention,

U see, if TsuPro is really into money making, they would’ve concurrently have the New Gen Hero series running (cause they have proven to be able to make money) AND push out ultraman games every other year like the other toku.

Now the second point is what takes the cake, with reference to the ask I linked above, games of various toku franchise is more or less a ‘secondary major market’ which KR and SS dominates as well but except in this market, Ultraman is more or less non-existent.

So if TsuPro has yet to even make an inking of a mark on that market, this just shows that TsuPro is still in the ditches.

More or less what I’m trying to say is that there will definitely be one day where TsuPro moves on from this phase of ‘gimmick series’ to what made it successful in the first place to the early heisei or even showa era type of series.

Although I can say that the quality of the shows are definitely gonna pick up, especially from R/B onwards,

Although from what we’ve seen from the New Gen Heroes series thus far, it might seem pretty counterintuitive since TsuPro has been rather inconsistent, even if we ignore the Zero Saga (which was false hope for future ultra series btw if u don’t know), things were looking good from Ginga to Ginga S before it dropped to its lowest point in the New Gen Hero era to X before it then shot up to a superb Orb then going back down to Geed.

So really the height of the New Gen Heroes era thus far has been Orb and TsuPro definitely recognises that fact which is why I strongly believe they tried to recreate it in Geed but failed as they went too off point and R/B is their second shot by expanding the Orb lore as well as maintaining a unique story of a pair of ultra brothers.

So really in that respect, TsuPro is trying new things here in the New Gen Heroes Saga as we’ve never seen homage to previous series in such a great extent in any ultra series before,

And I believe TsuPro is doing all these purposefully, presumably as a ‘test-bed’ to see what will and will not work with the audiences to prep themselves for the new era.

So R/B has more or less really given us pretty High Hope here (No pun intended Cosmos XD) when it comes to the future of Ultra series.

Although I cannot 100% confirm whatever I said may be the real case, it makes sense on why TsuPro does certain things given that they are in a certain situation.

But all we can do is speculate based on what actions they take at certain points in time to determine what they are trying to do and more or less extrapolate using this information as to the future of Ultraman.

And all I can say is, everything is getting better so far and TsuPro has definitely NO intention of giving up which is a good thing no matter how u look at it.

GlitchTale: Revived Sans Behavior (Part 1)

Contains spoilers. Made prior to watching "My Promise", Season 2, Episode 5.

In the GlitchTale episode “Love”, Betty revives Sans from a SOUL using the hate substance. Sans attacks Frisk, seemingly to kill, and in all probability is filled with hate for Frisk. When Papyrus shows up, Sans changes both his targets and his tactics.

When fighting Frisk in the first GlitchTale video, he uses four Gaster Blasters at a time. In “Love”, to fight Frisk he uses five Gaster Blasters. However, with Papyrus, he uses only two.

Sans also attacks Papyrus using a bone with a pointed end as a held weapon. In both Undertale and GlitchTale, this sort of attack has never been shown before: indeed, it’s possible Sans has never used this type of attack before. Furthermore, Papyrus is a skeleton: logically, piercing attacks would not work well.

Though a dirty cheater, Sans also doesn't use dirty cheater tactics when fighting Papryus. Given he attacks between turns in-games by targeting the interface buttons, it’s in-character to him to interrupt Papyrus’ and Frisk’s conversation with an attack, but he doesn’t do this.

As Sans can explicitly teleport in GlitchTale, he could easily teleport behind Papyrus and blast him point-blank.1 As his KR bonus might not be useful against Papyrus (see below), this tactic seems especially useful, but Sans doesn’t even try it.

Gaster Blasters aside, Sans only deals one point of damage (per frame of attack), so KR from his attacks are his primary way of inflicting damage. Assuming KR damage is proportionate to LV or only works on people with high LV, Sans’ KR effect wouldn’t work well on Papyrus, (if at all) because Papyrus’ LV is much lower than Frisk’s at this point.

There’s also the matter of Papyrus having much higher HP than Frisk. If one assumes Sans’ Gaster Blasters are not simply one-hit KOs, but deal 92 damage per blast (the human’s maximum HP at LV 19 is 92), and Papyrus has 680 HP, then inflicting 92 damage is only ~13.5 of Papyrus's total health. One blast is not as big a deal to Papyrus as for Frisk.

One should note the content of Sans’ dialogue to Papyrus, and the fact he’s talking in-battle at all. In his Genocide Route battle, Sans talks a lot, but the attitude and subject of his dialogue there is very different from his dialogue to Papyrus here. Furthermore, during both “Megalomaniac” (the first episode of GlitchTale) and “Love”, he doesn’t talk to Frisk in-battle.

It’s clear he’s treating Papyrus differently than Frisk. That Papyrus outright asks him “do you remember me?” sounds socially oblivious: of course Sans does.

In fact, he's used this tactic before on Gaster in "Yet Darker" (Season 2, episode 1). (at 4:15 in the video, to be specific) While their fighting styles are different, if Gaster and Papyrus are the same kind of monster, then effective tactics against them may overlap. Perhaps Sans doesn't use this tactic frequently when fighting humans because humans have hateful intent bonuses against monsters and generally attack at close range. ↩︎

Ok you want him showing he's suffering, you make him spiraling after eddie told him he wasn't coming back, so he starts doing dangerous stunts, and starts kissing people randomly we had no need for another character that will steal screentime, above all now that buck will have scenes again with madney

Apparently I was having a good tag day today! 🤣 so this is the post about how they only needed 1 replacement because Ravi already took Eddie's spot so they only needed to replace Chim and only for one episode (maybe one and a half/two depending on when in 5x13 he officially has a shift back with the 118)

L brings a 'new dynamic' no one else could #by sticking her tongue in buck's mouth for funsies before she joins his house and per ak fits perfectly into place #anyway #this might end up all being fine at the end but this beginning is garbage and wholly unnecessary #they could have had buck kiss some rando in the bar after the rescue! #they were showing the rescue on tv surely someone could have flirted with him over it? #he makes a drunken mistake and then has to deal with the fallout and addressing that he's not okay #what out of any of that necessitates a whole new character being introduced for the rest of the season? #there wasn't a need for her to be here taking up screen time that could go to our mains or filled in with one of the numerous #other established side characters #and with how L was bragging about how many times they were on tv? she really is just the reporter in a different hat #idk why kr thought after how much everyone hated the reporter that the answer was to do the reporter again but more #especially when the big complaint was them not spending enough time with the mains while focusing on the reporter #so how is having yet another new person but in even MORE scenes the answer? #i'll be interested to see if anything in those numerous interviews doesn't make it to screen

I mean, actually we could have just...not done the cheating at all which is the ideal scenario, but we all saw the parallels to season 3 and Buck talking about the woman at the bar, so they easily could have pulled something like that and had her leaning in and Buck pulling away like "oh shit I need to go home and breakup with my girlfriend, I am desperately unhappy!" and then let him fall back into old habits (of which cheating was never one 🙃)

And yes, characters are flawed blah blah blah, but as I said in this post, just because the argument can be made that a character could do something, doesn't not automatically make it good storytelling, or the best way to tell that story. My example used Chim having an angry, heartbroken, fling after Maddie leaves. You could argue that in the midst of his turmoil he did something he wouldn't normally do (which is also the argument used re: him punching Buck), but just because it COULD be a thing a flawed character would do, does not make it true to who we know Chim is as a character, and doesn't automatically make it good storytelling. I also mentioned in this post that everyone has a line, and for many, Buck cheating (and lying about the cheating) is a Line. And it doesn't mean we're dumb or don't deserve to enjoy parts of Buck's story.

My main issue is just how unnecessary this all was, and if the article are to be believed we are in for a LOT more screen time for this new character than any of us were planning on, so buckle up my friend! It's probably going to get worse (especially if they have L and T meet which was mentioned 🤢), before it gets better but that doesn't mean that the WHOLE journey will be a waste or that the end result won't be something we can all live with. The person driving the bus (kr) may be taking the worst route to the destination, but that doesn't mean we won't find a nice roadside stand or some pretty views along the way.

- Modified [Counterforce] application formula: : Characters with 0 Counterforce will deal 30% of applied damage to the BOSS. : Characters will deal 100% applied damage if their [Counterforce] exceeds BOSS’s [Counterforce Resistance] by 100 or more. : [Counterforce] formula is applied only to monsters with [Counterforce Resistance] stat. Only BOSS monster possesses a [Counterforce Resistance] stat. You can check information on BOSS’s resistance in the [Battle Information UI]. [Enchant]

- Modified [Fresh] Enchant Scroll so it can only be used on the following items: Regina/Braha/Terminus Sentinel/Lugh Lamhfada/Abomination/Dullahan [Small and Large Shields], [Runic Focus], [Shining Focus]. - Modified [Sealed] and [Truth] Enchant Scrolls to be used on [Milletian Small Shield], [Milletian Large Shield] and [Milletian Focus]. [Shield Enhancement] - Players can no longer enhance shields items. Note: Shield items that have already been enhanced will retain their enhancement level.
