Just for the record, I am 100% a Bugborg shipper and don’t see the appeal of Quebula AT ALL, but Kragula is objectively the funniest ship to ever sail in the mcu. As I’ve stated before, I can excuse het ships if they’re funny, and this one kinda works but in the most hilarious way? I definitely don’t think they’re an official couple but I also love the idea of these two hooking up randomly and just. Remaining friends. Completely platonic in the best way.

You'd probably judge me for what i'm going to say.

You'd probably accuse me for being an "extremist starmora shipper".

But i'll have to say it.

I mean, it would have made more sense if we saw a Kragula development in vol3 than all the whole "Nebula being in love with Quill" thing Gunn showed instead because the only explanation was "it was just a matter of time" when he perfectly could use the Kragula interaction in vol2 to make a couple development in vol3.

It's just my opinion.

Kraglin whistles the Yaka arrow into making a heart shape as he and Cosmo leave

Nebula puts on a nice hat and goes to her own job as a teacher of refugee children

i try to not be delusional about ships. i just want the bare minimum here.

like I know that marvel would never make mantis x nebula canon. it is just too much to hope for. all i ask is that they are still together (and i mean that so loosely) at the end of vol. 3, like not on opposite sides of the galaxy. and yes i multi-ship so the same thing goes for kraglin and nebula.

and i genuinely do not know what they’re going to do with quill and gamora. part of me believes that gamora will fall back in love, because, yes she doesn’t have all the same memories as our gamora, but it’s still gamora. then again, the other part of me thinks that the movie is going to go the sadder route with them not falling back in love because quill’s gamora is truly gone and you cannot bring her back. either way, all i ask is that they’re still together in the end, that gamora stays with the team when the movie ends or maybe they’re just still in contact with each other.

Stupid Terran Traditions

I re-watched the Guardians Christmas Special recently and was inspired to write a small Kragula drabble. Enjoy ❤️

Something a few feet above caught Kraglin’s eye. He glanced up and immediately wished he hadn’t. Flarking hell! He swallowed, grimacing as a nervous flush began to spread across his neck.

“Oh no…”

He hadn’t meant to say that out loud, but as usual his reckless tongue got the better of him. Nebula eyed him critically, taking note of his sudden nervousness.

“What?”

“Nothin’!” Kraglin blurted far too quickly. Nebula crossed her arms and frowned, immediately suspicious.

“It is obviously something.”

“Well…it’s just anotha’ one of those Terran Christmas traditions.” Kraglin begins to explain, avoiding her gaze. “Ya see this plant? S’called mistletoe, which doesn’t make sense as it neither looks like a missal or toe.” He pointed to the offending greenery hanging just above their heads. “If two people are caught standing together beneath one o’ these they’re supposed to, uh…”

“Supposed to what?”

“…Kiss.” The word came out as a low mumble. He couldn’t look at Nebula, too afraid of her reaction. After a full ten seconds of awkward silence Kraglin started fiddling with the arrow at his hip.

“It’s a rather silly tradition if you ask me, I- mmth?!”

The former Ravager’s ramble was abruptly cut short as he was grabbed by the scarf and yanked into a rough and, admittedly, sloppy kiss.

He’d hardly registered that Nebula was the one to initiate the act before being shoved away just as quickly. He watched, unable to form words, as she swiped the back of her hand across of lips.

“Hm, a strange tradition indeed.”

She walked away, completely unbothered, leaving Kraglin rooted to the spot, flushed, dumbstruck and uncomfortably hot under his leathers despite the winter chill in the air.

“Oh stars…”
