Their last kickstarter had a lot of issues, including the finished dice not looking like the renders included in the kickstarter, inconsistent quality in the finished product, super late delivery, and an assortment of really questionable customer service like saying if your order gets lost, well, too bad sucks to be you we sent it. (Which, their CS hasn't improved since then--I've heard customer service horror stories left and right from them.) I just don't have any faith that their kickstarter will deliver anything that looks like the photos

Love how it seems the latest Kraken kickstarter has been hovering at 70% funded for weeks. Hopefully this'll be the wakeup call they need to finally address the frankly egregious problems with their customer service and overall reputation

Dice! This is most of Kraken Dice’s Witch line, which is one of my favs. I did repaint the Eclectic Witch set, highlighted in the second pic, since their numbering is naturally pretty close to Hearth Witch, and I think doesn’t match that great. Love how they turned out.

About the previous Kraken Kickstarter- dont forget that people were sent dice that still had wet resin. Some had absolutely horribly yellow resin. Some vapor dice barely had any colour. They were sent without bubble mailers- they made you pay for shipping on their *website*. It was a mess, the continuous silence. There was a reddit thread marking all the new sets ( and drama ) that came out before they delivered their dice and it was around 100.

YUP I didn't want to get too into the specifics just because I can't fully remember all of them at this point, but I recall people having all those issues. Other people have responded to my posts last night saying theirs arrived damaged, chipped, etc. And across the board they were poorly polished and cloudy--an issue that persisted after the kickstarter as they continued to release product, leading to the current practice of after-market polishing your dice for better clarity, which still blows my mind personally. No shade to anyone who does, it makes them look amazing and I wish I had the patience for it, but the fact that a major dice retailer made it a necessity is just incredible to me.

Gotta say, even though I didn't back the project because none of the dice were unique enough to be worth the risk, I'm kinda glad the Kraken kickstarter got funded. It was a close enough call that they probably got the message about their reputation, and this way we'll be able to see if they actually did get their act together like they've claimed
